Hi,
Querys which you have provided was helpful.
But i was struck with the following issue. As the function is not excluded directly it may be excluded via a menu to the responsibility.
Even though it is displaying the responsibility name.
The following query is used to display the responsibility name with menu and function exclusions.
please help me on this.

We are looking for a query which will fetch all the query details in the system along with the user names either who has created the query or who has run it atleast once.
If any of the queries are not used for a long time then we can delete it with the user's/owner's approval.
Is there anyway we can desing such query .

Like who has created that query, how frequently the use it etc...

Thanks so far. I am yet to make the crucial breakthrough as far my application goes. Are you talking about the EUL5_QPP_STATS table? I tried retrieving worksheets even from that table also with the following query
SELECT DISTINCT Eul5QppStats.QS_DOC_NAME,Eul5QppStats.QS_DOC_DETAILS
FROM EUL5_QPP_STATS Eul5QppStats,EUL5_DOCUMENTS Eul5Documents
WHERE Eul5QppStats.QS_DOC_NAME = Eul5Documents.DOC_NAME
However, the worksheet data retrieved by Discoverer Oracle's product is not matching my dataset for every workbook. Please suggest.

SQL Query to search all the tables for a given string

This is concerning a query to search each and every table/column for a given string.
I came across a similar post (Re: question about searching 600 tables and this query seems to be inline with my requirements:

ORA-24451: OCIKCallPushTrusted, Maximum call depth exceeded
I am using Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit and could you please let me know the best possible way to accomplish this task?

Fetching all text components for query - RSRREPDIR / RSZELTXREF / RSZELTTXT

Hi all,
I am developing a tool to fetch all the text components for a BI query. The texts are then to be translated and uploaded back to the BI system, but right now we are first focusing on downloading the texts.
In the tool, the user inputs the query technical name on the screen, after which my approach is as follows:
1) Fetch Query UID from table RSRREPDIR using Query technical name.
2) Fetch all element UIDs from table RSZELTXREF using Query UID and by resolving the hierarchies. Agreed, the hierarchies in the table RSZELTXREF are very complex.
3) Provide all element UIDs, including root query UID, to the table RSZELTTXT, and fetch TXTSH and TXTLG texts.
Now, my question is at step 2: Which are the UIDs that I should fetch? Specifically, should I fetch only those UIDs which have Layout Type as 'ROW' / 'COL' / 'SHT', or should I fetch all UIDs regardless of Layout Type?
Secondly, my understanding is that because of the table hierarchy, I should continuously feed the field TELTUID back to SELTUID until the Layout Type is 'NIL'. When this happens, I am at the Element Level. Is this correct?

Also, tnsnames.ora is stored on the client, and not necessarily on the server; it's possible (and quite likely) that the name I use for a database in my tnsnames.ora could be different from the name you use for the same database; conversely we might use the same name for two different databases.

This sounds like it is about Window positions.
iChat has Default places for Incoming Invites.
Video is always top Center of your Screen
Audio and Text chats are Upper right with the Audio slightly lower than Text Chats.
Secondary invites are sort of Stacked like when you open multiple files from the same App.
Your outgoing Windows are "Remembered" as to where the last one was when you used it.
This can be an issue if you use your Mac with a second display and turn Off Mirroring.
You windows can get "left" on the other screen.
Go to System Preferences > Displays and turn On Mirroring and the windows should come back to one Screen/display.
If this does not help go to your Home Folder/Library/Preferences and delete (Drag to Trash) com.apple.ichat.plist and restart iChat.
Unfortunately you will need to reset any iChat Preferences you have changed from defaults.

The following would also work (in bash), it should show all users without passwords (which might be a better idea since locked accounts also might have 'X' or something else as passwords (useful if you want to disable logins but still be able to run cronjobs as the user)):

Report doesn't fetch all the records

Hi All,
I have a problem of fetching data from a table. My query returns more than 100,000 records. But report does not view/fetch all of them for the report.
It just return only around 500 records.. :S
Can anybody please give me a hand to solve this issue.
I'm using 10g Express edition with apex 4.

My program is outbound program.
According to the requirement i have to fetch all the records from ztable which are not tranmitted before to the third party and once the records are extracted and written to output file they will be marked as 'X' in the "status" field of that ztable for the next days run.

Fetch all the records whose status is equal to 'X' as whatever data is sent to third party system is marked as 'X' in status field of table after sending.
You need to first fetch the data into internal table using the select statement where status EQ space. You get the data which is not yet transmitted to third part. And later in the program after trasmitting the data to third party modify the Records in the DB table which are transmitted with Staus eq 'X'.

yes, Vitaliy could be guess right. Please check if FEMS compression is enabled (note 1308274).
What you can do to get more details about the selection is to activate the execurtion plan SQL/BWA queries in data manager. You can also activate the trace functions for BWA in RSRT. So you need to know how both queries select its data.

Thanks for sharing your analysis.
The only reason I could think logically is BWA is having information in both E and F tables in one place and hence after selecting the records, it is able to aggregate and transport the reords to OLAP.
In the second case, since E and F tables are separate, aggregation might be happening at OLAP and hence you see more number of records.
Our Experts in BWA forum might be able to answer in a better way, if you post this question over there.

Here are some suggestions:
1) Check the manual the Keithley manual to see how to configure the RS-232.
    On some models you need set Factory defaults to USER and turn on the RS-232.
    Also there may be a setting for SCPI which you want on (probably on by default).
2) On your PC - open Device Manager. See if a COM port exists and is functional.
     You must get this working before continuing.
      You can set the COM port parameters by right clicking and selecting Properties.
     (On some PCs the onboard ports can be disabled in the BIOS)
3) If step two was OK, open MAX (Measurement and Automation eXplorer).
    On the left side, click on Devices and Hardware.
    Click on Serial and Parallel.
    Go to the COM port you found in Device Manager.
    Open a VISA Test Panel.
    Now I don't have one I can look at right now, so this is general idea:
   Configure the COM port to match the Keithley settings (should be OK if step 2 worked)
   Go to the (I think) Input Output tab (you want to send a command)
   The command string input should already have a *IDN? entered, if not, type it in.
   Click on the Query button to send the command and check the response.
   If you get an ID string back (Company name, Model, FW Version ...) then it works.
   (Disregard an error saying it did not get enough charcters back.)
