and finally status of AgId '1005' is D again as his trm deactivated, activated and deactivated at last
So, considering these criteria can any one give me a query to get total no of AgId's who are 'Active' and similarly for 'Deactive'

How do I get a reference to the SecurityServices instance in my web appl?

I would like to use the audit provider of weblogic to log audit event that I send from my servlet. For writing a auditevent I need a reference to the AuditService instance. How do I obtain that? IS there any static class through with I can get references to the security services?

Pete,
The Thread class's public static Thread currentThread() method will return a reference to the Thread object that represents the thread of execution that is live when the method is invoked. More simply, it provides a reference to the currently executing thread.
So you could use this as a key in a hashtable to represent which thread has a lock on some entity:
   // "hash" is a hashtable
   // entity is an Object representing something that is locked (like
   // a record number or a resource identifier)
   hash.put(Thread.currentThread(),entity);I think this answers your question, unless I misunderstood you.

Are you using TPE to set up the Activity Tracking or BAM API. If you are using TPE then identify what has been set as the Activity Id in the BTT file. If the Message Id is used then use "BTS.InterchangeID" [refer
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa562116.aspx] on the received message to get the Activity Id.
If however you've mapped the Activity Id in BTT to the InstanceId then use
"Microsoft.XLANGs.Core.Service.RootService.InstanceId"
to get the activity id.

Getting error while starting the RAC instance through SRVCTL utility

I'm tryin so hard to do an all CSS site instead of using tables. Very tough! Can someone look at http://www.duenorthdesign.com/pcm and tell me:
1) How to get a new div to line up to the right of the current (light green) one. Currently it is below it. I"ve tried floating the left one left so the new div would go to the right. Strange results! Tried floating it to the right.... UGH. I've never felt so stupid in my life!
2) Also, why does my content run outside of my div (the light green article)? Shouldn't the div expand accordingly?

Named SQL queries without a descriptor in the workbench

I want to call some named query SQLs from my DAO by using
result = (ResultSet)Session. executeQuery(String queryName, Vector paramList);
The way I have done it now in the mapping workbench I have defined all named queries and SQL with a class descriptor, even though that class doean't have any mappings. I couldn't find any other way of defining named query SQLs in mapping workbench, other than attaching to a class descriptor. But I think because I'm using this API of calling executeQuery instead of getting the domain class too..I'm running into the following exception -

What is the proper way of defining a named query with our a descriptor in the workbench, so that I can use above mentioned API from my DAO? Any where in the doc? Is it Session events?
Any sort of sample example would be deeply appreciated.

To execute a named query for a paticular class/descriptor you need to call the Session.executeQuery(String queryName, Class descriptorClass, ...) API. The API that does not take a class is only for session-level named queries.
i.e.
List employees = (List) session.executeQuery("findAll", Employee.class);
Currently the Mapping Workbench does not support defining session-level queries, so if you wish to define queries not related to any descriptor, you need to define these through code (if you are using a sessions.xml to define your session, you can add the queries through a SessionCustomizer (10.1.3), or use a SessionEventListener and the preLogin event (9.0.4)).
You can execute named queries on any Session class (ClientSession, UnitOfWork, DatabaseSession, SessionBroker). But you need to define the queries in the ServerSession or DatabaseSession before login.
i.e.
ReadAllQuery query = new ReadAllQuery(Employee.class);
serverSession.addQuery("findAllEmployees", query);
List employees = (List) clientSession.executeQuery("findAllEmployees");

But connecting to a particular DB is giving a problem:

Error while installing OIM, during the OC4J Instance Configuration Assistan

Hi, running RHEL 4 32Bit Linux. There's an installation of the SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 (Release 2) on /u01/app/oracle/OracleAS_1, and I am installing OIM on /u01/app/oracle/OraHome_2
