Question about creating a new osmf plugin

Hi All,
I'm trying to create a new plugin and I'm using the MastPlugin and CaptioningPlugin samples as guides.  I seem to be having an issue in the ..PluginInfo.as class (we'll call it TestPluginInfo.as).  I've pasted my code into pastie, you can see it going here: http://pastie.org/private/qa6yn8mlgrjafbgkwjtuw
Based on my debugging, I seem to be getting stuck at line 7.  I'm unable to make it to the "canHandleResource" function but when I debug, I can see the function in my variable window with a value of <getter>.  I've been working on this for hours but not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong here.  Can someone please take a look and possibly let me know what I'm doing wrong?

Keep in mind that with a proxy plugin, your ProxyElement will only be constructed if the following conditions are met:
1) there is a (non-proxy) MediaFactoryItem in the MediaFactory whose canHandleResource function returns true for the input resource
2) your (proxy) MediaFactoryItem's canHandleResource function also returns true for that same resource
Your canHandleResource function will only return true if the input resource has some custom metadata, and is either a video, F4M file, or SMIL file.  When your canHandleResource method gets called, does it return true?  You might want to check in the debugger.
If it does return true, keep in mind that the TestProxyElement will be constructed with an empty constructor, and subsequently the resource will be assigned via the set resource method.  Again, you could put a breakpoint in an override of the latter to see if it's getting that far.
