Question about modifying wizard based uix-jsp

On a browsepage I turned this:
<uix:header text="Results"/>
<uix:spacer height="15" />
<uix:form name="form1" method="GET">
<bc4juix:Table width="100%" datasource="ds1" >
<uix:columnHeaderStamp>
<uix:styledText textBinding="LABEL"/>
</uix:columnHeaderStamp>
<jbo:AttributeIterate id="dsAttributes" datasource="ds1" hideattributes="UixShowHide">
<bc4juix:RenderValue datasource="ds1" dataitem="<%=dsAttributes.getName()%>" />
</jbo:AttributeIterate>
into this:
<uix:header text="Results"/>
<uix:spacer height="15" />
<uix:form name="form1" method="GET">
<bc4juix:Table width="100%" datasource="ds1" >
<bc4juix:RenderValue datasource="ds1" dataitem="LastName" />
<bc4juix:RenderValue datasource="ds1" dataitem="FirstName" />
and I get the two fields I want, but I don't get column headings.
What am I doing wrong??
TIA,
Ed.

Since HBO is an add-on, you should be able to add or drop on a whim.
As for the tier of service, it would depend if you are on a bundle with an ETF (early termination fee) or strictly month to month.  If you are on a bundle, then upgrading is not an issue (other than it usually starts a new clock on the ETF) BUT I believe downgrading would be considered breaking the bundle and you could incur an ETF.
Not absolutely positive as I have only upgraded my bundle.

  • Question about modifying the Packet-based link into ASK modulation

    Hello everybody,
        Recently I learned the Packet-based link and I  modified it into ask scheme. But after I test the modified code, I find that it doesn't work as I image.
    I don't know why, can anybody help me about it?

    I have a couple of questions that may seem silly, but...
    USB A = Windows DaRT 7.0 x86 for Windows 8 ISO burned
    USB B = Windows DaRT 7.0 x64 for Windows 8 ISO burned
    Is this a typo? You have it correctly above that where you list all 4 DaRT images, but not in the section I quoted.
    This TechNet article lists compatibility of DaRT versions:
    DaRT 8.1 supports Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
    DaRT 8.0 supports Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.
    DaRT 7.0 supports Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
    DaRT 6.5 supports Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
    DaRT 6.0 supports Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
    DaRT 5.0 supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.
    Also, did you use a Windows 8 ISOs with both DaRT versions? You need Windows 7 disks to create the DaRT 7 recovery disk.
    Let us know,
    Thanks

  • Questions about  hosting and integration of jsp

    hi,
    I have been searching about jsp for a while and i need to ask some question which confuse me.
    First, I have been looking for hosting for jsp but i haven't yet found a useful one.
    And hosting is pretty expensive than php hosting especially in turkey. Do you suggest some international hosting which price is agreable. Also I couldnt find any commercial site (except ibm, java.sun) which is implemented in jsp, if you know some, give some instance.
    Php is much more widespread than jsp. but it still has some disadvantages of being opensource. but lately, I have read an article about sun has started to support php, According to this supprort, can php has an advantage on jsp.

    Dear dudushr,
    This is not at all a pbm.
    what u can do is,
    write ur servlet class and configure that in ur web.xml.(put servlet class in ur WEB-INF/classes dir)
    now in the action part of form tag call the url (just configured in web.xml) for this servlet.
    after executing the query and doing further process within the servlet ,use RequestDispatcher's forward method to pass this values to ur jsp.
    try it and let me know..
    cheers..

  • Question about modifying the size of an existing column in a table

    I am a new DBA. I am being asked to modify a column in an existing table that is populated with data. Our database is a 10g database, and the table name is Contacts. The column name is FName, and it is currently VARCHAR(10). It needs to be increased to VARCHAR(18). Would I use this statement: ALTER TABLE contacts MODIFY COLUMN FName VARCHAR(18)?
    I thank everyone who helps me with this question in advance.

    Hello,
    This is how you do it
    ALTER TABLE  A_ERROR_TABLE MODIFY(TEST VARCHAR2(18)); -- Example
    ALTER TABLE contacts MODIFY ( FName VARCHAR2(18));Regards

  • Quick question about import wizard

    I logged into XI 3.1 Import Wizard with my AD user id (member of Administrator group), it is not giving me an option to imports users and groups. Is that only Administrator account can import users and groups?.
    Source system is XI R2 SP3 and destination is XI 3.1 SP3.
    Thanks,
    Hari

    Yes, I have admin previllages in both source and destination environment. I am using XI 3.1 Import Wizard, when I log into the source system with my AD ID it gives a message saying "you have logged on as a user that is not the system administrator".
    When I go to the 'Select objects to import' screen it is not giving the option to check Users/groups.

  • Question about non-nVidia based Mobo chips.

    So, say I have the 790fx-GD70.  The SLI support is N/A, so that means I can't SLI on it .. right?  Can I still run dedicated Physx, or what?
    Or can I SLI, but it won't be as good? Thanks for any help you guys can give!

    Quote from: zsde on 12-August-10, 22:39:31
    You cannot SLI on a dedicated crossfire board. You can run a single NVidia card and reap all the benefits, including Physx. You can even run two Nvidia cards separately, but no SLI.
    Thank you very much, NVIDIABOY.  Is MSI planning on creating an SLI compatible motherboards including their new "military grade" unclock and usb 3.0?  It's near impossible to find an Nvidia based AMD motherboard with USB 3.0.

  • Question about modifying the boot order for Lenovo Yoga

    I created a bootable USB for crash recovery. How do I configure the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro boot order so that it boots from USB first? Is there some function key I need to press while the laptop is booting up to get some kind of boot screen?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I had used the "Create a recovery drive" option. You find this tool by pressing the windows key and typing in recovery drive, and clicking on the Settings category. This launches the Create a recovery drive application. This tool apparently copies over the recovery partition from the hard drive. Thanks a lot for your help. I will try to press the button on top of the power button and see if I can set it up to boot from the recovery usb drive.

    I'm a bit confused by your reference to the BC4J-UIX and UIX-JSP wizards. There is a 'new' link in wizard-generated
    BC4J JSPs and a 'Create' button in wizard-generated UIX JSP browse/edit forms. Is this what you mean?

    I will write more information about my questions may this help others:
    *{ /WEB-INF/web.xml* - The +Web Application Deployment
    Descriptor+ for your application. This is an XML file describing
    the servlets and other components that make up your application,
    along with any initialization parameters and container-managed
    security constraints that you want the server to enforce for you.
    This file is discussed in more detail in the following subsection.
    As mentioned above, the <code>/WEB-INF/web.xml</code> file contains the
    Web Application Deployment Descriptor for your application. As the filename
    extension implies, this file is an XML document, and defines everything about
    your application that a server needs to know (except the context path,
    which is assigned by the system administrator when the application is
    deployed).
    The complete syntax and semantics for the deployment descriptor is defined
    in Chapter 13 of the Servlet API Specification, version 2.3. Over time, it
    is expected that development tools will be provided that create and edit the
    deployment descriptor for you. In the meantime, to provide a starting point,
    a [basic web.xml file|http://localhost:8080/docs/appdev/web.xml.txt]
    is provided. This file includes comments that describe the purpose of each
    included element.
    NOTE - The Servlet Specification includes a Document
    Type Descriptor (DTD) for the web application deployment descriptor, and
    Tomcat 6 enforces the rules defined here when processing your application's
    <code>/WEB-INF/web.xml</code> file. In particular, you must
    enter your descriptor elements (such as <code><filter></code>,
    <code><servlet></code>, and <code><servlet-mapping></code> in
    the order defined by the DTD (see Section 13.3).

  • Question about somepage.jsp?id=10

    I have a few questions about passing variables inside the actual URL.
    Say for example i have a products list, each product has an id. When i click on the product various information will be displayed including price, name etc etc. At the same time comments from various customers will be displayed.
    I was just wondering how i'll generate the number embedded inside the jsp which takes the user to the product information page. For example <a href="getProduct.do?id=10> how is 10" generated? Is it generated based on the productID?
    If i have 10 and in the products table i have the values do i just extract them according to the id and list the various values? At the same time i'll just locate the product id (which is a foreign key) in the comments table and list the comments also. I'm using struts if that makes any difference.
    Do i have the right idea?

    In other words, if i've printed out all the customer names from the database to my jsp how do i make it a hyperlink to point to the customer id using show.jsp?cust=1

    Hello, I am working on a Java applet application and would like to choose a Java-based scalable server framework to use within my applcation. I have found a few like xsocket or QuickServer and have a question about other. And, also, which is the one You may advise? Yours sincerely, Slawek

    For online gaming server. I first heard of xsocket and started using this, but have the problem with NAT. I now know that I need to initiate connections from client behind NAT (server has a public IP) and send messages from server to client within the same connection. I am doing this the following way (as shown in examples- below), but it appears that server receives messages, but client doesnt. I dont listen on any ports in client application and just need to take advantage of the connection initiated (information go from client to server properly).

  • Search/Query Form bc4j-uix-jsp

    Hi:
    Are there any samples of Search/Query jsps using
    bc4j -uix jsps?
    There are some on OTN using html.
    I want to set up a search page that users can select one or more(AND) from about 5 attributes

    Once you create the Query-by-Form datawebbean, you can modify the templates in the templates\webapp directory by changing all usages of the FindForm bean to use your new DWB. You can also create a new webapp template by copying the existing file and creating a new directory. You can add you new template by modifying the templates\apptemplates.xml. The current entries are:

  • Question about searching

    Hi all,
    I'm considering Oracle BDBJE for a project that stores visited url's (data) based on a key of ip-address (4 bytes) combined with a date (long) to make the keys unique.
    If want to search on date (ignore ip) do I have to make a secondary database that has the date of the visited url's as primary index?
    Does a method like Cursor.getSearchKeyRange, if supplied with partial key, always search a the beginning of the key? Or could I use it to search for a date by only supplying the date-part of the key? Prop. in this case the bytes for the date will be mistaken for the bytes of the ip-address that comes first in the key.
    Thanks for any help.
    regards,
    Jeroen

    Hi Jeroen,
    I'm not sure I have all of your data model yet, but I think you've given us enough for me to say you should likely try one or possibly two secondary databases.
    If you have not already done so you should review the documentation on Secondary Indexes as found here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/je/GettingStartedGuide/indexes.html
    Inserting/Modifying records is faster without using a secondary index. But the queries that you have identified would perform better with secondary indexes. But you should experiment with a few different approaches and compare that with your performance goals.
    Also, if you have not already thought about this, I would consider using DPL to implement this, especially since you will be evaluating alternative database designs. You will find that the implementation time is faster and you can also make changes quickly.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/je/PersistenceAPI/BerkeleyDB-JE-Persistence-GSG.pdf
    You know your data best, but based on the info you provided here are my thoughts/alternatives:
    Primary Database key = IP/Date or Maybe Date/IP is better if the Secondary for IP address exists
    data = URL plus other data not sure what
    Secondary Database Key = URL (I left out date because you said it is not likely that the same URL will exist for multiple dates).
    Possible Secondary Database Key = IP address (Which URL's were visited by IP X).
    Again, I think you may want to try out something like this a model your inserts and also your query performance. Feel free to post further questions about any results you are getting as you move forward.
    Also, if you have not already seen this I would keep this URL handy and consult with it before you post:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/berkeley-db/faq/je_faq.html
    I hope this helps!
