Question on BIEE Answers

Hi Experts,
I am trying to build data in the physical layer, business model and mapping as well as presentation layer in BIEE 11g.
Now, I have 3 relational tables like this,
1. Account (Parent, Child)
2. Year (Parent, Child)
3. Data (Account, Year, Amount).
So what I did is to firstly do a physical join in the physical layer 1st. After that, I created two logical dimensions using parent-child hierarchies for Account and Year, which essentially produced two additional tables namely AccountDim and YearDim.
Note that in the Business Model and Mapping, I joined Account,Year and Data using FULL OUTER JOIN, since I would like to show those accounts without any entry in the Data table as well.
Now, when it comes to answer, for PIVOT TABLE
1st, I tried to put AccountDim in row, with Amount in Column, it works perfectly well.

However, when I tried to put AccountDim and Year in row with amount in column,
It doesnt work, I tried to expand either year or account with no luck.

Within the Business Model and Mapping section make a duplicate of the column you are wanting to count and then double click on the table name under Sources. On the Column Mapping tab find the new columns you duplicated and modify the expression to calculate the number of days. Performing the calculation here will cause it to be resolved against the database which is your quickest option if you don't handle it in the ETL.
Here are the expressions to use...
for the first new column...CASE WHEN TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY, START_DATE, END_DATE) between 1 and 10 THEN 'The column you want to count' END
For the second new metric you would build it the same way and the expression would look like this...
CASE WHEN TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY, START_DATE, END_DATE) between 11 and 20 THEN 'The column you want to count' END

Thank you Klaus1.The large font, I copied and pasted from my mail box.I'm visually impaired...not to a huge degree but it helps to use the large font.I believe you are right about the copyright on the imac stuff but if facebook decide otherwise, you have to reply electronically to their challenge.If you can't provide a reference directly from the copyright owner then they remove the video.I believe this is a programmed response and no human is involved which now makes it impossible for me to get my video uploading restored.They detect added soundtrack automatically and then challenge.There are many others in the same boat and facebook will not communicate.They have various discussion sites on which I have left messages including Mark Zuckerbergs own facebook but I don't think anyone from facebook ever reads them.I intend to start a second facebook which I can use purely to get my videos uploaded as a lot of my friends enjoy them BUT don't want fall foul of their programming again.If only iMac would put something on the net to this effect.I think it is so unfair that with modern technology it is impossible to contact these large conglomerates personally and receive an email response.I tried emailing [email protected] but I got a failure notice.If you have any ideas on how to get verification from apple direct, I would be very grateful.Thank You.

Hey everyone in Apple world!
I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

A lot of questions and few answers. That is a fact. My question is about deregistering a kaputt PC, and synchronizing iPod and iPod with a replacement PC w/o losing content. I had a Toshiba with tummy trouble sychronized with and iPod and an iPad. I bought content on all three and added content from CDs I already had. They synchronized fine. I deleted iTunes on the troubled Toshiba and installed it on a new Gateway. The Gateway has far less content on iTunes and threatens to delete content from the iPod or iPad if I synchronize. All I want to do is get all the shtuff together again on at least the Gateway and the iPod, preferably the iPad also. Also, how to deregister the kranky Toshiba given that iTunes is deleted on it. Why am I appealing to someone out there with time on their hands. Doesnt Apple employ people for that? If not, its high time they did.

Apple does employ people to help with technical problems. They're called Apple Technical Support, available by phone (use the Contact Us link at the lower-right of any Apple web page), and Geniuses, available at any Apple Store.
As to your questions, I'm not completely clear on where you have what content, but if it's all on your iPod or iPad, then you can transfer the content back into iTunes (a subject which, by the way, has been covered here many times already). For content purchased from the iTunes Store, see this support article:

As to your question about "deregistering", I presume you're referring to authorization to the iTunes Store. It would have been best to have deauthorized the Toshiba before you uninstalled iTunes. You cannot yourself deauthorize a computer that's not working or to which you no longer have access. You can authorize a total of up to five systems, so it's probably not really important that you deauthorize your dead unit now. Once you reach five total authorizations, a button will appear in your iTunes Store account that will allow you to deauthorize all your systems, so that would at that time recover the now-useless authorization.

Now I have a requirement to read the question id and answer id which is generally in the below format.

Please let me know how can i retrieve the the question id and answer id with the above inputs.

Itunes is asking fo security questions to be answered that I don't seem to know the answers to. Need help fixing this problem.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

You can define the validation or can restrict the access to the user via authorization objects. Please contact your BASIS team to set this up
4. Do we use same bank accounts in APP and BRS?
Yes, we generally use the same Bank Clearing Account in APP and BRS for clearing posting. In APP, the offset goes to vendor and in BRS, offset goes to main bank Account.
5.How many variants we can create at a time in APP?
If you are talking about the variants in the F110 screen printout tab, then you can give upto 40 variants in a payment run for a print program
6. If fiscal years are different for 2 different company codes with USD and INR currencies respectively, how do you generate combined reports in USD currency?
You need to define the group currency as USD and have to assign these two company codes to a company. Please search SDN and net for detailed setup.
7. Is it possible to have different currencies for GL accounts under one chart of accounts? If yes, what is the significance?
Yes, different GL master can have different currency for posting. Please note that SAP stores the amount in document currency, local currency and group curency in parallel.

My question was not answered in a timely matter so I'll ask again...

My Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-Ray copy gave me a code to download the movie on iTunes for free. The download seemed successful, and when I played it, the title screen came up, but when I tried to play the movie or the bonus features, there was no audio or video. When I go to the Get Info screen, it says it's a Protected MPEG-4 and the file type is .m4v. My question is: how do I get the movie to work? Why would they give me a file that does not work in the first place?

He said - Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox.
I want to know - Will I still have my bookmarks, history, addons, plugins, etc.? I do not know what plugins and such that I had. What about my pinned tabs and my tabs that where open.
More information - When I try to start Firefox I keep getting the message that I need to restart my computer in order to complete a previous update attempt. I had Sweetpacks on my PC and I do not know where it came from, it took over my home page in Internet Explorer and Ithink caused the issue with Firefox.
Should I do the clean install or try starting Firefox now.
