Quick Pay and SOE Report

Dear Friends
In our client instance they terminate the employee on 31st May 2012.
In the Termination Actual: 31-May-2012
Last Standard and Final Process: 31-May-2012.
When we run the Quick pay on 31-May-2012, all the elements in the element entries are processed, it is coming in the run results.
In the SOE report except one element all the other elements are coming. (Element Name: Top up Pension Accrual) - this element coming in run results but not in SOE.
I had tried with different scenario
In the Termination Actual: 30-May-2012
Last Standard and Final Process: 31-May-2012.
When we run the quick pay on 30th May 2012, all the elements in the element entries are processed, it is coming in the run results and also in SOE.
If you have time, please clarify.

That is strange.
Which Legislation are you working on ?
What is the classification of the element 'Top up Pension Accrual' ?
On the element definition what is the Termination ryle . Is it Actual termination or Final Close or Last standard process date ?
Generally elements of Earnings & Deductions are shown on Payslip.
Any additional elements have to be added at the BG level - SOE Information.

    In oracle payroll we have an option to run quick pay for particular employee,and select the element as much as you want to process by standar type run type,my question is that how can we create our customize run type and link with our selected element,i mean to say,we doesn't want to select element in each quick pay and system should run only those element which are link with customize run type.

    Quickpay is not a solution build for running payroll many employees. If you want to run payroll for a set of employees then you can use Payroll Run and this takes element set as a parameter.

  • Rolling back of Quick Pay Pre-payment and Quick Pay in case of void cheque

    Hi All
    I am facing an issue if you can help me out of if
    Here is a scenario
    a payroll manager runs the following processes.
    1. Payroll run
    2. Pre-Payments
    3. Payroll Archiver
    4. Payment Output file
    After running all these process payroll manager finds that he also has to make an adhoc payment on account of car loan of AED 150,000.
    So he runs following processes
    1. Quick pay for Car loan
    2. Quick pay pre-payments (payment made through check)
    3. payroll archiver
    4. Cheque Writer.
    Now due to some technical fault, alignment on printing of cheque becomes disturbed there for cheque misprinted.
    Payroll manager runs Void Cheque process to cancel the cheque.
    After all these processes which has run successfully, order comes from upper management to rollback quickpay for adhoc payment of loan.
    Now question is how it can be achieved.
    I tried different things as follows
    On Assignment Process results screen i queried the assignment which all the processes in descending order.
    I tried to start roll back from cheque writer but system didn't allowed to do this because of check Void process.
    I tried to start rollback from Magnetic report, system allowed to roll it back.
    Then i tried to rollback Quick-pay prepayment, system did not allow me be do it. There fore i couldn't run rollback for Quick-pay.
    There is an another thing i tried.
    On "Assignment Process Result" screen i queried assignment. Then i delete the first entry of Void cheque by using delete option from menu bar on top and saved the record. then i delete cheque writer entry and saved the record. Then i run rollback for quick pay pre-payments and ran it successfully and then lastly i ran rollback for quick pay run.
    One thing cautioned me that if I delete the void cheque entry then its history may be lost or have lost and on the other hand with out deleting void cheque i cannot proceed to rollback quick pay.
    Kindly tell me the best way to run rollback for quick pay in this situation.

    Bt do not provide broadband only so you need existing account holder to add broadband to phone account and then you can pay back the account holder - probably not what you want
    the 12 months advance applies to the line rental not the broadband - as I said BT do not sell broadband only you buy a package which includes phone

  • Payment Method as Cash - Quick Pays

    Hi,
    I have a requirement. Payroll people want to pay all the Quickpays as Cash mode to employees.
    Can any one tell how to make the cash payments & how entreis will effect.

    Thanks for the reply. If i override the payment method as cash at quick pay screen. But how the casher will give cash to the employee. Is it the manual process.
    Manual Process Means: take quick pay SOE reprot and attach to the Payment Voucher & take emplolyee signature and give cash to employee & then casher pass one manual GV. Is this the process.
    or Any automation is there in cash payment. Daily they want to run some 40 to 50 quick pays as Cash Payment.

  • SOE report is not being opened

    Hi All,
    I have created new responsibility for the payroll user. From that responsibility, if I tried to open the SOE report it is not being opened. The following error is coming.
    "Function not available to this responsibility. Change responsibilities or contact system administrator."
    I am able to view SOE report from other responsibilities.
    I have set the profile option "PAY:Statement of Earnings User Category" at site level.
    Please help me out how to view SOE report from new responsibility.

  • Error while running Quick Pay

    Hi Friends,
    I am trying to run Quick Pay for an employee. I have put the dates and then saved it. Now when I click the Start Run button nothing happens. I click on the Override Payment method field and see this error
    "APP-PAY-07263: Choose a Quick Pay run. Query a QuickPay process with a status of Complete before trying to define or process a QuickPay Pre-payment."
    This is the first time I am running the Quick Pay for the person. Infact this is a new hire I just created and trying to run the QuickPay process.
    Can someone please help.

    First run only the quick pay. after that you will see start pre-payments button enabled. Then select the override payment method and run the pre-payment process.

  • Promise to pay and payment method

    Hi all,
    The following is the case in Collections Management. When you use the payment method in AR you will find that you will run into problem logging a P2P on items that have a payment method filled in. Now for direct debit it would be under discussion if this is correct or not since a direct debit goes thru F110 however when you have other payment method filled in (like banktranfer, payment by check or BoE) then you have a problem. Personnally i think this is a bug or conflicting functionality so i already discussed this with SAP.
    You can manually bypass the above by setting the payment block on the invoice (from the worklist) but that is a lot of work. Now my question:
    How difficult is it to create a user exit on the BSID table to fill in the payment block on the customers/ company codewith all documents that have a certain payment block?
    I was thinking to use the following variable fields in the UE:
    BSID-BUKRS u2013 Company Code
    BSID-KUNNR u2013 Customer Number
    BSID-ZLSCH u2013 Payment Method
    BSID-ZLSPR u2013 Payment Block
    Does any of you have experience with this, is it possible? Might there be another way?

    Hello James,
    Following are the major differences in promise to pay and installment plans
    1)When you create installments, new statistical items are created by the system using the main transaction of installments in the table of open items DFKKOP. However, new statistical items are not created in the case of promise to pay. Just a new promise to pay document is created from where you can see individual items and amount due to date etc
    2)When you create an installment, you have the option of viewing installment amounts in the account balance display or the original document(against which the installment was created). Incase of promise to pay, you cannot see individual promise to pay items in account balance display(FPL9). you only see the original document
    3)When you create an installment against a recievable, the ABWBL field in DFKKOP is updated with the document number of the installment plan created. Same is true for promise to pay documents as well
    4) Installments nt possible for items that have been sent to coll agencies. This is not true for P2P
    In my perspective, installments is a very flexible way of deferring due dates and breaking line items. If you use the functionality for doing it you will have much wider options in terms of clearing control and reporting. However, P2P(as i see it) is just an agreement with consumer and is not as flexible as installments and might make you life a little difficult

  • Sales and Tax reports separated by currency

    I searched the forum and had a live chat with Adobe support with no result
    BC supports multiple currencies and has the option to set taxes per country or region.
    One would expect that BC therefore should supply reporting for sales per currency and tax reports for each defined tax setting.
    But it doesn't - sales numbers are all collected as it was in one currency. I have 7 currencies in my webshop.
    The sales numbers are totally wrong in the system. All currencies are summarized together without any separation.
    Imagine me trying to do a tax report, US only has so many taxes and even sub taxes for some states.
    It is practically impossible.
    I am reaching out to the readers of this development forum.
    Please, please, please is there anyone who can build something to fix this problem in BC.
    I am willing to pay for it.

    Is your formula attached to basic salary element or some other element? You need to make sure that basic salary element has some value and is processed before this formula is called. Are you able to see value for basic salary element after payroll run?

  • Where I can see all document of pay and the user that modified

    Hello people
    Where I can generate a report with all user that modified a document of pay.
    I have a problem, in the finance area, they request a reports with all users that modified some document of  pay.
    In the FB04 transaccion  I see the document of pay and user that modified, but is one for one, in my company are generated thousand documents pay for day.
    I see that the transacction FB04 gets the information of the tables "BSEG", but in this table I do not have the field "User"  and with this I will can link the document of pay more the user and date
    Example

    I reviewed the two notes, but  this not help me with my problem.
    I think that in the system when a user modify a document pay this is saved a register in some table.
    In the table BSEG I find that there a part, but this have link with other table for complete the report, I do not know what other table complemented this information.
    I require a report with all document of pay more the user that modified and the date
    How  I can generated this report ?

  • Cash and liquidity report FF7A and FF7B

    Hi all
    Here i am executing FF7A and FF7B report, for cahs and liquidity postion in that reports i am getting banks and persons items, when i double click on persons systme is showing only F1 level details, How to get defferent level in persons items like M1 M2 and S1
    Where i need to configure this settings can any one reply me

    As per your response i have done all the setting and i cheked FF7A and FF7B for cash and liquidity forcase but still i am not able to get the Persons line items in that report for M1, M2 and s1, i am ble to view only F1 line item.
    M1 means Purchase requisition
    M2 means Purchase Order
    S1 Means Sales order
    Here i am able to generate only F1 line item detals only F1 means posting of purchase and sales
    i have created Planning group and assign in Customer master and vendor master
    i want to gererate report for M1 M2 and S1 line items in Person column
    Kindly give quick responce on the above issue

    Please allow me to clarify my question.
    I have a balance of 3,712,126.60 in my GL 30000000. In my detailed Profit and Loss (ZPL-002), 705,712.90 is shown under Gen. Operating Exp. while 3,006,413.70 is shown under Fixed Manufacturing Costs.
    So, what field does SAP use to allocate those line items between Gen. Operating Exp. and Fixed Manufacturing Costs? Is it Functional Area only?

    There are a few third party tools that let you do that.
    Some such tools are Monarch, Rep2excel etc.
    Google for "convert oracle report to excel" and you will get a few more hits.
    The best way to get it in Excel is to change the output format to XML and write a quick XML publisher template.

    Dear User,
    You can perform the activity, only pre-requisite is the the given employee should have a Direct Deposit Payment Method associated with him.
    So, when you perform Quickpay and Quickpay-Prepayment, it will take the Direct Deposit Payment Method.
    Otherwise, if your payment method is blank for the employee, the Quickpay-Prepayment will take the default Payment Method defined in your Payroll (Generally this is Cheque or Cash)

  • Quick pay change required.

    Hi , I have a question regarding quick pay.
    Please read this
    Currently, all quick pays are manual checks. This has created hardship for the employees who have direct deposit, as they anticipate all of their paychecks being automatically deposited to their accounts. When there are mistakes, it is a huge inconvenience to the employee who must now collect their check, make the deposit and wait for the check to clear. With direct deposit, there is no wait period; the money is available immediately.
    We are requesting that all Quick Pays default to the payment method on the employee's record with the option to select manual check. (there are instances where supervisors wish to hand delivery bonus checks).
    Can anybody give me a solution for this.

    what is your legislation?
    I thought the core system should do it by default: run quickpay, and the pre-payments on top of it, what distributes the money all over the personal payment methods.
