Quicktime Stream with rtsp and poster.mov

Hi...
I'm using Wordpress and I can't seem to get quicktime streaming to work. I've used the code they provided (which you'd THINK would work but it's not. What I'm putting in is (3 different ways/trys to stream the same file):
<embed src="http://alexissdawn.com/postermovs/poster.mov"
href="rtsp://streaming.alexissdawn.com/streaming.alexissdawn.com/win98.mov"
width="200" height="240" target="quicktimeplayer"></embed>
<embed src="http://alexissdawn.com/postermovs/poster.mov"
href="rtsp://streaming.alexissdawn.com/streaming.alexissdawn.com/win98.mov"
width="200" height="240" target="myself"></embed>
<OBJECT CLASSID="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B"
WIDTH="320"
HEIGHT="240"
CODEBASE="http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab">
<PARAM name="SRC" VALUE="http://alexissdawn.com/postermovs/poster.mov">
<PARAM name="QTSRC" VALUE="rtsp://streaming.alexissdawn.com/streaming.alexissdawn.com/win98.mov">
<PARAM name="AUTOPLAY" VALUE="true">
<PARAM name="CONTROLLER" VALUE="false">
<embed src="http://alexissdawn.com/postermovs/poster.mov"
qtsrc="rtsp://streaming.alexissdawn.com/streaming.alexissdawn.com/win98.mov"
width="320" height="240" target="myself" controller="false" autoplay="true">
</embed>
</OBJECT>
None of them work and they screw up the layout of my site horribly so I've had to remove the entry. When I look at the coding for it, it changes it to just this:
<object width="320" height="240" classid="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B" codebase="http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab">
<param name="SRC" value="http://alexissdawn.com/postermovs/poster.mov" />
<param name="QTSRC" value="rtsp://streaming.alexissdawn.com/streaming.alexissdawn.com/win98.mov" />
<param name="AUTOPLAY" value="true" />
<param name="CONTROLLER" value="false" /></object>
Can anybody help me?? I just need some simple code to stream some MOV files on my site. Any help ASAP would be GREAT!! Thanks in advance...

Ive got the exact same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

  • How do I delete sites created with iWeb and posted with .mac after a format

    I am confused about how to delete a couple of sites that I created with iWeb and posted with my .mac after I did a format reload?
    I have tried everything. The original files are not on my MacBook Pro because of the format.
    I also see them in my idisc, but I is my understanding that on my MacBook Pro that I can delete the files, but they are hosted online. On the online idisk I cannot delete them because there is no option. Please help!!!

    Using the file menu in Finder:
    Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb/YourSitesAreHere
    Highlight selected files and Command/Delete. You will receive a drop down asking you if you are sure; click OK and the files/sites will be deleted immediately from the iDisk.

  • GR with Excise Capuring and Posting ( Movements 103 and 105 )

    Hi
    We have the requirement like .
    1. we have the Business requirement like GR 103 and 105 movements types .
    our requirement: while doing GR with Movement type 103 will capture the Excise . While releasing Blocked stock to unrestricted will post the excise . please advise me how to configure .
    thanks
    @sakhi

    Hi Sakhi,
    When you post 103 the system takes it as GR blocked stock,not a valuated stock in plant.
    But you can capture excise invoice at the time of 105 --i.e Release blocked stock and Post the same in J1IEX  transaction.

  • IWeb and posting movies for download

    I've built a website to showcase a short film trailer I made. While Mac users generally have no problem viewing the basic iWeb movie page with the QT viewer in the browser, the occasional PC ludite has problems. I guess there are a lot of computers and users out there who have never downloaded QT (or updated) onto there PC's. To solve this problem I created a .WMV version of the same movie (with the program CLEANER) and posted it as a link in the site. I intended for the file to be completely downloaded to the users computer upon clicking the link but instead find that while some computers download, others open the file and stream it directly into Windows Media player. This process is awful since the file first buffers, then starts playing in a choppy fashion while the remaining file completes the transfer of data. Any ideas how I can create a glitch free work flow so that anyone, on any computer platform, upon clicking my hyperlink will simply download the 18MB file to their desktop where they can then view the file as a separate, non-streaming, movie? Or any solutions as to how to create a non-choppy streaming .wmv file. Even though we shun those users, sometimes we still need to reach people on PCs for business. It's a bummer but a reality as well.
    Thanks

    Cleaner works great here is what I did and a modifcation (suggestion for download)
    You need to make a non-movie page, any will do. Start your movie and take a photo of it with shift-apple-4. This will give you an image of the movie and also the Windows Media Player frame. Place this image on your page, give it a title etc and make sure the image is selected. Using the inspector, chose Link to File. When you do thius, navigate to the wmv file that corresponds. When you upload your site, that file will be stored along with it and when the link is hit the wmv movie will launch. ~NOW~ for the PC users that will give you what it sounds like you already have done. WHAT I DID was just add a link "To download movie right click and "save target as" when they "right click on the "frame" or the link they can download it as opposed to viewing it in the media player
    Hope that helps!

  • Problem in using socket streams with encryption and decryption

    Hi,
    I am developing a client/server program with encryption and decryption at both end. While sending a message from client it should be encrypted and at the receiving end(server) it should be decrypted and vice versa.
    But while doing so i got a problem if i use both encryption and decryption at both ends. But If i use only encryption at one (only outputstream) and decryption at other end(only inputstream) there is no problem.
    Here is client/server pair of programs in which i am encrypting the outputstream of the socket in client side and decrypting the inputstream of the socket in server side.

    **** I know that the CInput tries to read some header stuff thats why i used two threads for input and output.
    Waiting for the reply.
    Thank you.

    Do not ever post your code unless requested to. It is very annoying.
    Try testing what key is being used. Just to test this out, build a copy of your program and loop the input and outputs together. Have them print the data stream onto the screen or a text file. Compare the 1st Output and the 2nd Output and the 1st Input with the 2nd Input and then do a static test of the chipher with sample data (same data which was outputted), then do another cipher test with the ciphertext created by the first test.
    Everything should match - if it does not then follow the steps below.
    Case 1: IO Loops do not match
    Case 2: IO Loops match, but ciphertext 1st run does not match loop
    Case 3: IO Loops match, 1st ciphertext 1st run matches, but 2nd run does not
    Case 4: IO Loops match, both chiphertext runs do not match anything
    Case 5: Ciphertext runs do not match eachother when decrypted correctly (outside of the test program)
    Problems associated with the cases above:
    Case 1: Private Key is changing on either side (likely the sender - output channel)
    Case 2: Public Key is changing on either side (likely the sender - output channel)
    Case 3: Private Key changed on receiver - input channel
    Case 4: PKI failure, causing private key and public key mismatch only after a good combination was used
    Case 5: Same as Case 4

  • Broadcasting webcam stream with RTSP

    Hi all.
    I'm working on my final year project lately. I've got the webcam stream and processing it for motion detection, there's no problem with that part. But another part of the project is to broadcast the webcam stream by RTSP protocol. I've seen codes that broadcasts the webcam stream over RTP protocol as I searched over internet by google, but I had to broadcast it in RTSP because the reciever of this webcam stream will be using his/her mobile phone
    and mobile phones do not support RTP protocol. As far as I checked with a program I found on internet, my cell phone ( Symbian OS 60 v2 ) supports HTTP,RTSP etc. I cannot do it with HTTP since I'm going to get live feed, so I had to do it with RTSP protocol.
    So I tried streaming servers like Wowza media server, darwin streaming server, flash media server etc. but I couldn't get my webcams stream by these as far as I followed tutorials. I'm really stuck at this point so I thought that it's time to ask someone for help. What should I do ? ( Please don't say "Implement the RTSP by reading it's RFC :) ). If you ever done something like this please share your experiences with me.
    ps: I've searched sun forums also, but all I found was unanswered questions about rtsp broadcasting, so I started a new one, hoping to find an answer.

    As far as I am aware (and I am aware of most but not all), JMF doesn't support RTSP broadcast, only RTSP reception.

    My suggestion to you would be to google for a product that can take in an RTP stream and output it as an RTSP stream. You can then use JMF to capture the web cam and broadcast it to that product, and then use that product to bounce the RTP stream to your cell phone.
    Or, you could just implement the RTSP by reading it's RFC ;-)

  • 870A Fuzion Power has problem with keyboard and mouse movement only in games.

    Hey guys,
    recently built a new system and chose to go with the 870A Fuzion Power mainboard, everything has gone very smoothly execpt for one problem, only when I play games like Crysis 2 ect the mouse seems to jolt around now and again and the keyboard decides to stop responding if I hold down the movement keys, and this is only in game not surfing the web for example. Now, I am using a wireless mouse and keyboard but I plugged in a PS/2 keyboard and the exact same thing happened. I've installed all of the drivers that came with this board and the drivers for the mouse and keyboard. Any of you guys ever had this sort of problem or know how to fix this?
    Thanks.

    I bought a new Macbook pro in june 2010, I didn't have any keyboard or mouse issues prior to upgrading to 10.6.4 supposedly this update was made to fix some issues with keyboard and mouse becoming unresponsive. For me the opposite happened. after the upgrade, my keyboard and mouse (trackpad) becomes sometimes partially unresponsive or totally unresponsive. the only way to solve the problem is by completely turning of the computer and turning back on.. granted it doesn't happen very often.. generally once every about 2-3 weeks but it is still annoying though..
    I didn't have a chance to use the computer too much on the previous version (10.6.3) so I don't know if it is software related or hardware related.. any thoughts?

  • Direct streaming with samba and DLNA/UPNP capable players

    Hello,
    I have mediatomb running on my server which streams media to my PS3. However, I would like to do the same with my arch machines, but I can't find any players or plugins with upnp functionality. Amarok, AFAIK, doesn't have such capability. Although I always prefered this method for watching media, now I really need it because playing through samba is impossible. When I try to play media from samba shares, all players download the content locally and then start playing it (unless I mount the samba share, sth I would like to avoid). The same happens with every file, pdfs, rtfs, etc - the file is downloaded locally and then opens in its application. There was a hack for mplayer that allowed direct streaming, but now it doesn't work (changing the "exec" value in the gmplayer.desktop file and adding the %F parameter). Maybe there is a hack for Dolphin that changes this behaviour?

    even wrote:For share folders you can use ushare. It works fine with dlna and upnp. But doesnt have a GUI, only config files and a daemon. Works with ps3 and xbox360.
    Well, what I actually need is a UPnP media renderer or player. Mediatomb is a UPnP server, similar to ushare, and I am very happy with it.

  • Help with authoring and posting Quicktime movies on the web

    Greetings all,
    I recently launched a new website (www.articles-of-war.com) with a 'movie trailer' page (http://www.articles-of-war.com/pages/down_trai.html) similiar to the movie trailer pages on the Apple site.
    The page has links to Quicktime movies of different sizes (small, medium, high, HD, etc). When I click any movie, though, it takes a long time for them to appear before they can play (the blue Quickime "Q" logo appears as the entire movie loads, for example), rather than playing almost immediately.
    When I built the trailer pages, I made sure to set "autoplay" to "true."
    When I authored the Quicktime movies, I used these settings:
    H.264
    Prepare For Internet Streaming (Fast Start)
    Data Rate: Automatic
    I'm sure I'm skipping some simple step to make these movies play right away - is there anyone that can offer some advice?

    You lost the "fast start" feature when you added the annotations and then used a regular "Save".
    Use "Save As" (QuickTime Pro) to restore the fast start feature and upload those new files again.
    You should also consider a more modern audio codec than IMA 4:1 to reduce the size of your audio track.

  • Re: streaming video with RTSP and RTP

    heres an example. This is not the solution. Modify it for your use
    try {
            Sequencer sequencer = MidiSystem.getSequencer();
            sequencer.open();
            // From file
            InputStream is = new BufferedInputStream(
                new FileInputStream(new File("midifile")));
            // From URL
            is = new BufferedInputStream(
                new URL("http://hostname/rmffile").openStream());
            sequencer.setSequence(is);
            // Start playing
            sequencer.start();
        } catch (MalformedURLException e) {
        } catch (IOException e) {
        } catch (MidiUnavailableException e) {
        } catch (InvalidMidiDataException e) {

    Only a small number of phones support rtsp. What phone are you using?

  • Filemanagerimpl.cpp-94 with Drag and Drop .mov files

    I am working with DSLR footage (1920 x 1080 24p .mov) and for some reson CS5 Premiere Pro will crash randomly (usually about every 2nd-3rd file I import) with a debug event and the dreaded filemanagerimpl.cpp-94 error.
    I can only find posts about this happening with capture, but very little about importing and of course NO answers.
    I uninstalled and re-installed quicktime and no go. It's something with the filemanager but no clue how to fix that or what it means.

    As a follow up, it seems that when I use the media browser pane in Premiere it works fine. It might very well be an issue between windows 7 and Premiere and the way explorer works.

  • PLEASE HELP!  Quicktime Pro with iMovie and .MPG Files

    Hello. Please help me. I'm on a G5. 10.5.3. iMovie 7.1.2 (577) I have a series of .MPG files that I need to import into iMovie to edit, arrange and then export over to iDVD, etc. iMovie does not see the .MPG files. The Apple site states that iMovie sees only MPEG-4 files and DV files. I also own Quicktime Pro 7.5 (149.5). When I open the .MPG file in Quicktime Pro, even though the file plays perfectly, when I select "Export to MPEG-4" so I can create a readable file by iMovie, I get an error message that say's "Failed: Export process terminated unexpectedly (10). Complete frustration. Is there another way I can convert these files so iMovie can see them? What's wrong with my Quicktime Pro? I bought DivX Pro last night. I thought maybe that program would make an iMovie readable file. No luck. I used DivX to convert and it created a DivX file with NO SOUND. Wasted money.
    If anyone has any solutions for my problems noted here or possible alternatives so I can achieve what I'm trying to do successfully, PLEASE ADVISE as soon as possible.
    Thank you for taking the time to read this and THANKS, in advance, for your help.

    You'll get a ton of ideas from others so, by no means, don't think that mine will solve your issue. I, personally have fallen in love with [StreamClip|http://www.squared5.com>. It does a ton of stuff.
    As for your Error 10, hopefully that's just an "out of space" (on your drive) error and not an I/O error (a problem with the drive reading/writing)
    But, you said you have Quicktime Pro and you're going to iMovie so I'd try to make your .MPG files a DV Stream...I think that's what I movie likes.
    Anyway try that,
    Tom

  • Drop menus with mask and invisible movie clip

    please see this navigation interface:
    http://www.hearightnow/yogamater/
    when the mouse is outside of the drop menus, the drop menus "hide" behind the outside of a mask, when the mouse enters the drop menus, they move up. An invisible movie clip the traces the frame of the photos is in place to insert ROLL_OVER and ROLL_OUT code to "block" the event listener that functions the "yoga" drop menu.
    This is all done in one frame, the scripts do all the animation of the drop menus.
    the current code for this menu allows the mouse to travel from the photos to the "yoga" drop menu without triggering the menu to go up, however if the mouse travels from the "yoga" drop menu to the photos, the drop menu locks up until the mouse leaves the photos.
    any ideas how this can be fixed? also, how do I apply the script on the invisible clip to all the drop menus?
    definitely a newbie to AS3 so all help is greatly appreciated!!
    here is the main script:
    stop();
    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,upyoga);
    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,upteach);
    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,upsched);
    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,uppriv);
    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,upcont);
    var speed:Number=.222;
    function upyoga(e:Event) {
    if ((yoga_menu.mouseY<yoga_menu.height&&yoga_menu.mouseY>0) &&
    (yoga_menu.mouseX<80&&yoga_menu.mouseX>0)) {
    yoga_menu.y-=(-58+yoga_menu.y)*speed;
    } else {
    yoga_menu.y-=(-134+yoga_menu.y)*speed;
    function upteach(e:Event) {
    if ((teach_menu.mouseY<teach_menu.height&&teach_menu.mouseY>0) &&
    (teach_menu.mouseX<80&&teach_menu.mouseX>0)) {
    teach_menu.y-=(-65+teach_menu.y)*speed;
    } else {
    teach_menu.y-=(-118+teach_menu.y)*speed;
    function upsched(e:Event) {
    if ((sched_menu.mouseY<sched_menu.height&&sched_menu.mouseY>0) &&
    (sched_menu.mouseX<80&&sched_menu.mouseX>0)) {
    sched_menu.y-=(-42+sched_menu.y)*speed;
    } else {
    sched_menu.y-=(-96+sched_menu.y)*speed;
    function uppriv(e:Event) {
    if ((priv_menu.mouseY<priv_menu.height&&priv_menu.mouseY>0) &&
    (priv_menu.mouseX<80&&priv_menu.mouseX>0)) {
    priv_menu.y-=(-28+priv_menu.y)*speed;
    } else {
    priv_menu.y-=(-74+priv_menu.y)*speed;
    function upcont(e:Event) {
    if ((cont_menu.mouseY<cont_menu.height&&cont_menu.mouseY>0) &&
    (cont_menu.mouseX<80&&cont_menu.mouseX>0)) {
    cont_menu.y-=(-40+cont_menu.y)*speed;
    } else {
    cont_menu.y-=(-88+cont_menu.y)*speed;
    and here is the script on the invisible clip:
    invisiClip.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER, invisClipOver);
    invisiClip.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER, menuBack);
    invisiClip.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT, invisClipOut);
    function invisClipOver(event:MouseEvent):void {
    removeEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,upyoga)
    function menuBack(e:Event) {
    yoga_menu.y-=(-134+yoga_menu.y)*speed;
    function invisClipOut(event:MouseEvent):void {
    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,upyoga)

    I was having trouble attaching a zip or fla to this post so they can be retrieved at
    http://www.hearightnow.com/yogamater/menu_45b.zip
    or
    http://www.hearightnow.com/yogamater/menu_45b.fla
    the "menu" layer contains the mask that the drop menus hide behind
    the "invis" layer contains the invisible movie clip that has the code that removes and adds the event listeners that move the "yoga" drop menu
    the photos seen at http://www.hearightnow.com/yogamater/ are added with HTML DIV tags.
    thanks!
