R3 tables about job, program, variant and variant value

Hi, Experts,
    Now we are schedule lots of R3 jobs before BW uploading.
    every job has ABAP program, each ABAP program use one variant.
    my problem is: there are so much job sceduled, we are hard to go to check all setting is correct. so anyone can tell me what's R3 table have the information of job,program, variant and variant value
    I just some TBT* table which only have job info.

The variants can be found in TVARV,VARI,VARID,VARIT and VARIS tables.
Also Check these tables:

Dear SAP Gurus,
I am working on implementing forecast based planning for Spare parts for my client. They have one Main Plant which do purchase of Spare Parts and through Stock transfers moved to 60+ Plants from where Spares are being sold.
Now I am carrying out SAP trial runs for a set of 160+ materials with various models and want to compare with their existing methodology of requirement calculation.
I want to compile Consumption and Forecast data month wise for these trial materials (160+ materials in 60 Plants) . One way I thought is to go individual Material Master and looks for values in Forecast view. However it is tedious and time consuming.
The table name shows RMCP2 and RM03M for forecast and Cons values, but I could not find the table.
Hence I want to know which table if I can view I can get the consumption and forecast data calculated for quick copying and compilation.

Like I could able to get the consumption values for materials using table MVER and fields GSV01,GSV02 etc.,
What field I need refer in table PROP for getting forecast values.
As such I could not see any column where in data are similar to Forecast view.

- create variant with a input file (information for report names, variant names, variant parameter names and values)
- schedule SAP jobs with a input file (information about job name, job class, server which the batch should excuted, Steps with batch user name, program name and variant name)
- tools for mass download and upload variant.

How to transport a transaction variant and her related screen variant?

Hello to every SDN member,
I am looking to transport a transaction variant and the related screen variants.
I read the help and I am concerned by the paragraph about the Client-specific transaction variants because when I created the transaction variant, no dialog box appeared.
In the paragraph about the Client-specific transaction variants, it is told to transport the variants with the Transport function but the problem is that I cannot find it. How can I use this function? It is not in the toolbar and not in the differents menus.
Can you please give me the solution to transport the transaction variant and the screen variant?

Hi,
You can transport a variant by :
1. Running the program RSTRANSP. Mention your program and variant name there.
2.Create a variant with prefix 'CUS&'. This type of variants will be automatically transported to target system through transport request.
3.Go to Se38 --> Input report name --> Select Variants
On the screen --> Go to Utilities -> Select transport request
--> Provide the program name and Variant --> Assign Transport request to variant. Then release the transport.

My requirement is that I have to print all the PO header conditions and its values in PO.From which table I can get PO header conditions and its values.I know there is table KONH for header conditions but how do I fetch data from table KONH for header conditions and its values?? I mean what would be the input values or is there any other way for my requirement.

In my system certain condidtions such as freight,packaging charges etc can be entered both at the item level and header level and my requirement is that I have to print all the header conditions present in the PO and are having value.
From table KONV I get all the item conditions but my requirement is to print all PO header conditions iwth value???
How do I achieve this??

Table relation for material and characteristics value

I am looking for the tables which contain the material and characteristics values. e.g. For a particular material what are the characteristics available and what are their uniq values. It will be great if you could provide me the tables name along with the link key (foreign key) between the material no and it's characteristics. Even though I have tried ausp & other tables but I could not find the uniq for a particular material. All answers are appreciable.

Color space, gamma, and code value range data

I'm getting close to submitting my film for professional DCP creation. It's a ProRes 422 4096 by 1716, 2.39 - 1 file, created as a "master file" in a Premiere Pro CC export (the sequence being an "online" of sorts, built from SpeedGrade color-corrected DPX files).
The Guidelines for "Digital Cinema Source Delivery" require me to provide information about Color Space, Gamma, and Code Value Range Information (head vs full). Specifically, an order form asks for TRT, Color-Space, and Full or Head.
This is simply all Greek to me. I know my film looks gorgeous, and the rest of what I've told you, but that's the limit of my experience.
Can someone help me out? Specifics are preferred to broad strokes. Many thanks in advance.

This is probably too late now for you anyway but here is some extra information:
The "Digital Source Master" is the video footage before any D-Cinema formatting or encoding has been done.
It can be literally anything. The DCI specification did not specify this.
They did however specify exactly what the transcoded verison has to look like. The "D-Cinema Distribution Master" (16bit TIFF, XYZ)
So in other words, you need to tell your service provider:
The resolution, fileformat, frame rate and especially the colourspace that you used.
For example r709 for HD or any other RGB colourspace with applied gamma value (2.3 for example).

Which table contains variants (visualization) and its program associated ?

you will find variants and program names in TVARV and TVARC. Here u will not get the data for variants.
If you want data for particular variant go for FM:
RS_VARIANT_VALUES_TECH_DATA
REPORT = your programe name
VARIANT = variant name
In TECHN_DATA u will get the data for that variant.

1. The ALV Grid Control is a tool with which you can output non-hierarchical lists in a
standardized format. The list data is displayed as a table on the screen.
The ALV Grid Control offers a range of interactive standard list functions that users need
frequently (find, sort, filter, calculate totals and subtotals, print, print preview, send list,
export list (in different formats), and so on. These functions are implemented in the
proxy object class. You as the programmer have the possibility to turn off functions not
needed. In most cases the implementations of the standard functions provided by the
control are sufficient. However, if required, you can adjust these implementations to
meet application-specific needs.
You can add self-defined functions to the toolbar, if necessary.
The ALV Grid Control allows users to adjust the layout of lists to meet their individual
requirements (for example, they can swap columns, hide columns, set filters for the
data to be displayed, calculate totals, and so on). The settings (list customizing) made
by a specific user are called a display variant. Display variants can be saved on a userspecific
or on a global basis. If such display variants exist for a list, they can be offered
to the user for selection. If a display variant is set as the default variant, the associated
list is always displayed based on the settings of this variant.

Sap provides a set of ALV (ABAP LIST VIEWER) function modules which can be put into use to embellish the output of a report. This set of ALV functions is used to enhance the readability and functionality of any report output. Cases arise in sap when the output of a report contains columns extending more than 255 characters in length.
In such cases, this set of ALV functions can help choose selected columns and arrange the different columns from a report output and also save different variants for report display. This is a very efficient tool for dynamically sorting and arranging the columns from a report output.
The report output can contain up to 90 columns in the display with the wide array of display options.
The commonly used ALV functions used for this purpose are;

How you call this function in your report?
After completion of all the data fetching from the database and append this data into an Internal Table. say I_ITAB.
Then use follwing function module.

The object F_IT_ALV has a field, the activity ACTVT, which can

Activity 03 corresponds to the minimum authorization, which is the
most restricted one: The user can only select layouts which have
been configured already. In particular, all of the other functions

the headers as well as to save the layout thus created, for example,

Hi Hoo,
You can get the variants of a ABAB Program from table VARID. Give the report name to the VARID-REPORT field and you will the list of variants for this report under field VARID-VARIANT and VARID-ENAME is the user who created the variant.
Otherwise, You can use the function module RM_GET_VARIANTS_4_REPORT_USER to get the variants of a report

Setting Variants and running the program in the background.

Hi experts,
I have a custom program which needs to be executed in the background with a set of variants on every monday. For this I will execute the program in background and i will set the time and date.
One of my variants in the screen is the running date based on which the records will be fetched from the table in the program.
When i run on 29/05/2006 (MONDAY) the date select option should be set as 23/05/2006 to 29/05/2006.
how should i do this.

Hi,
You can change the DATE values dynamically. Look at the variant options.
While saving the variant, click on the SELECTION OPTIONS for the DATE parameter (Select the L Parameter check box) and you can specify the dates.
Here you specify the DYNAMIC DATE CALCULATION WHERE YOU can specify the high and low values.

Hi,
Run the program RSTRANSP and give the name of the program and the variant name.
It will create a transport request for the variant.
the rest of the process is the same as is the case with all other transport requests.
