Raid question, can it be done or not

hi, and thanks in advance for any help given regarding my question.
i have two raptors set up as a mirrored raid array, my question is can i go into bios and change them to a stripped array (raid 0) for peformance without having to reinstall xp and if so what are the best settins?

I can confirm supershanks answer, as i've TRIED it.. and no, if you change ANY of the nVraid settings, you have to reinstall windows..
I don't think this is the case with all RAID controllers though, as the promise controller on my other board, was more flexible..
you could just make a ghost image of your current setup, then change the settings, and ghost it back. check my sig for instructions using ghost with nvraid

You can send reports over the internet via ssl, but Reports
itself has no encryption mechanisms.

It can be done or not: looping vertically

A page design layouts a list of image files vertically. And a user can scroll up down the list. I know using the iterator tag to layout a list of elements horizontally, but not vertically. Can this be done or not? If no, the page has to be designed.

I think what you mean is the following:

That will make one row several columns table.
The issue with this approach is that the element layout won't be consistent if the total number of elements in the list is not a multiple of the number of columns.
Other than that, I was thinking about a tableless approach, using CSS.

I'm sorry no-one has answered you yet - I'm afraid I don't know the answer to the question: but I wanted to put into your mind that starting up with AppleWorks at this stage isn't a good idea. The program was 'end-of-lifed' years ago, it won't run on Lion, and some of the document types created in it - Databases in particular - cannot be opened at all by any other program whatever. Word Processing documents can be opened in Pages, and Spreadsheets in Numbers (with some reservations in both cases), but building up a collection of AppleWorks documents at this stage is going to lead to problems later on.
It's difficult to know what to recommend for a PowerPC machine that would still be compatible with modern ones. An older version of Microsoft Office, perhaps, if you can find one which will run on PPC; but most of the modern Word Processors are Intel only. This is something you would need to investigate.

You can set this up from My Apple ID > click on Manage my Apple ID or try to purchase from a computer or device that was not used to purchase with your Apple ID before so that you will be prompted to create your security question.

The largest 2.5" dia SATA drives available are 2 TB in capacity.
Have you tried the Seagate SSHD connected externally to the MBP via USB? The drive itself may be faulty.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

No, this canot be done, afaik. When your camera or card is connected, you will see the thumbnails in the camera pane, but not full size preview. So to browse your photos on the iPad you will need to import them to your camera roll. But you need not delete them from the camera or card after importing, so you might simply import selected photos to your camera roll from the camera grid and then delete them again from the camera roll after importing and browsing, without removing them from the card/camera.

Yes. Your data are stored in your hard drive, and the battery is not required for the hard drive to keep its data.
However, you may want to google for information about how to store a battery for an extended period - "winter" is a long time, and batteries do run down when left sitting on a shelf.

You would have to let itunes rip the songs from the cd's, or you would have to copy the music from the computer which ripped cd's.
iTunes does not support transferring music from the ipod unless it was purchased from the store.
