Hi,
We was into the depot sales project. We have done till excise duty.
That means, first we are created a sales order and then outbound delivery for that.So based on the outbound delivery number normally we do billing.
But here after outbound delivery we are in to assigning excise duty tothe delivery. In j1ij we have given and done all the things its working fine by FIFO method. It will first show the first procurement. We will select and this process got over.RG23D table is filled up with the values.
But after this i gone for doing billing in VF01.But when i give the delivery number,it shows the condition typea and values but it didnt show any thing about excise duty which we are giving,So can anyone plz help me in this issue.
Whether any configuration we want to do,or any thing we want to do internally.
Routine 356, which transfer this from j1ij to billing is not happening, Since it is direct procurement of traded items , excise duties need to be passed on to customer directly, Here I hope there is no point of calcualting the excise duty, Since the excise duty would have inventorised.
UTXJ condition record are maintained.

  • Difference Between RE and RM sales order type

    Hello friends...
Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the sales cycles if i take sales order RE and RM type.
    RE- Return Sales Order
    RM- Delivery Order return
Difference between them is not clear...it will be good..if explain with some example.
    Thanx
    siddharth

    Hi
    Returns for Delivery Orders
You can create a return for delivery order items.
When processing returns for delivery orders, note that:
u2022     The standard system contains the sales document type RM for delivery order returns. You create a return for delivery orders in the same way as a standard return.
u2022     Choose Goods issue to post goods receipt.
u2022     Cumulative quantities are not updated automatically. You must correct them manually.

  • What's the Difference Between OLAP and OLTP?

    HI,
What's the difference between OLAP and OLTP ? and which one is Best?
    -Arun.M.D

    Hi,
The big difference when designing for OLAP versus OLTP is rooted in the basics of how the tables are going to be used. I'll discuss OLTP versus OLAP in context to the design of dimensional data warehouses. However, keep in mind there are more architectural components that make up a mature, best practices data warehouse than just the dimensional data warehouse.
Corporate Information Factory, 2nd Edition by W. H. Inmon, Claudia Imhoff, Ryan Sousa
Building the Data Warehouse, 2nd Edition by W. H. Inmon
With OLTP, the tables are designed to facilitate fast inserting, updating and deleting rows of information with each logical unit of work. The database design is highly normalized. Usually and at least to 3NF. Each logical unit of work in an online application will have a relatively small scope with regard to the number of tables that are referenced and/or updated. Also the online application itself handles the majority of the work for joining data to facilitate the screen functions. This means the user doesn't have to worry about traversing across large data relationship paths. A heavy dose of lookup/reference tables and much focus on referential integrity between foreign keys. The physical design of the database needs to take into considerations the need for inserting rows when deciding on physical space settings. A good book for getting a solid base understanding of modeling for OLTP is The Data Modeling Handbook: A Best-Practice Approach to Building Quality Data Models by Michael C. Reingruber, William W. Gregory.
Example: Let's say we have a purchase oder management system. We need to be able to take orders for our customers, and we need to be able to sell many items on each order. We need to capture the store that sold the item, the customer that bought the item (and where we need to ship things and where to bill) and we need to make sure that we pull from the valid store_items to get the correct item number, description and price. Our OLTP data model will contain a CUSTOMER_MASTER, A CUSTOMER_ADDRESS_MASTER, A STORE_MASTER, AN ITEM_MASTER, AN ITEM_PRICE_MASTER, A PURCHASE_ORDER_MASTER AND A PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_ITEM table. Then we might have a series of M:M relationships for example. An ITEM might have a different price for specific time periods for specific stores.
With OLAP, the tables are designed to facilitate easy access to information. Today's OLAP tools make the job of developing a query very easy. However, you still want to minimize the extensiveness of the relational model in an OLAP application. Users don't have the wills and means to learn how to work through a complex maze of table relationships. So you'll design your tables with a high degree of denormalization. The most prevalent design scheme for OLAP is the Star-Schema, popularized by Ralph Kimball. The star schema has a FACT table that contains the elements of data that are used arithmatically (counting, summing, averaging, etc.) The FACT Table is surrounded by lookup tables called Dimensions. Each Dimension table provides a reference to those things that you want to analyze by. A good book to understand how to design OLAP solutions is The Data Warehouse Toolkit: Practical Techniques for Building Dimensional Data Warehouses by Ralph Kimball.
Example: let's say we want to see some key measures about purchases. We want to know how many items and the sales amount that are purchased by what kind of customer across which stores. The FACT table will contain a column for Qty-purchased and Purchase Amount. The DIMENSION tables will include the ITEM_DESC (contains the item_id & Description), the CUSTOMER_TYPE, the STORE (Store_id & store name), and TIME (contains calendar information such as the date, the month_end_date, quarter_end_date, day_of_week, etc).

  • Difference between JINFAC and TAXINN

    Dear Friends,
Whats the difference between JINFAC and TAXINN?..............

    Dear K R,
In RVAA01 you can maintain the condition types maintained for JINFAC. You can assign the RVAA01 to your sales area. System will pick the excise condition types from RVAA01 if tax condition maintained in RVAA01
Further, SAP predefined country specific pricing procedure. For India JINFAC, Depot, STO pricing procedure maintained specific for India. This you can use as a ref or copy the same or you can have modifications according to your business requirements.  India specific in the sense, PP caters mainly the tax structure of India.

  • Could any one tell me what is the difference between swfloader and module loader?

    Hi  All,
Could any one tell me what is the difference between SWFLoader and Module Loader in Flex3 in detail?

    Hi,
ModuleLoader is a kind of strange API that is really just intended to look like SwfLoader for modules that contain a single visual component, and hides most of the module loading infrastructure, which is all about class factories.
What I mean by "only loaded once" is that if you have several places in the code that call the ModuleManager.getModule("url").load() call, it will only ever get loaded over the wire and interpreted once, subsequent "loads" will just re-dispatch pseudo-load events to the new client.  In other words, the class factory is a singleton for a given url. Unloading is a totally different story.  As you note, not everything is truly unloadable, because there may be lots of references to stuff in
the module that will keep it alive and un-GC'ed.
I suggest playing with the low-level API so that you understand the backing implementation, and this should help you understand the limits of ModuleLoader.
The main difference between modules and applications is that modules have lower overhead, and they only ever get loaded once, no matter how many times you load them. If you're using the ModuleLoader API, keep in mind that you're losing about half the functionality of the module system.  I will assume that you are, because otherwise it would be obvious where to expose methods.  You might want to play around with the lower level ModuleManager API just to get a hang of what's going on - ModuleLoader is a pretty thin veneer over the lower API.
Basically, what you want to do is to have your module implement an interface, say IModuleWhatever.
Also try and refer to this link which was previously discussed in this forum..

  • Can any one tell me the difference between VK11 and MR21

    Hi Folks,
I have changed price of a material using VK12.
When I go to the transaction MR21, it is still showing the old price.
Can any one help what is the difference between VK11 and MR21.
And i which scenarios these two were used?
    Thanks in Advance
    Gopi Krishna

    Hii,
VK11: This is price master record to determine the sale price or discounts or freight or taxes which we going to charge to the final customer.  Through this transaction we will determine the price automatically either in sales or billing document.  These transaction is only applicable for sales & distribution module for determining the pricing for customers.
The price determined through this we use in revenue realisation.
MR21: Through this trnsaction Finance or Cost users upload the cost of the material.  The cost is
Standard Cost or Moving average cost.
Cost= Raw Material CostProcessing Cost(product process cost )Overheads(employee salaries)
This cost is maintained at each material master in accounting view either standard cost or moving average cost.
These cost is determined for every material movement within the company.
Example: Production, transfer posting, goods issue- system post the quantity and at the same time system create an inventory entry i.e accounting entry for the transaction.  In this accounting entries, system consider the values from material master for generating accounting entry.
If you upload production for 10 MT of material A and in material master if kept the cost of the material as 1000 then the accounting entry in production time as
                  Finish Goods Dr          10000
To Cost of Production Cr        10000
These cost also determined sales transaction through VPRS condition type.
    Rewards if it helps

  • Difference between VPRS and EK01

    Hi,
Can someone suggest me the difference between VPRS and EK01.  In which circumstances they should be used.
    Thanks
    Phani.

    Hi,
EK01 is used to carry out costing in sales document item (item in an inquiry, quotation or an order) to find out the planned costs for this item. This is called sales order costing.
Sales order costing can be carried out using the following methods:
1)Product costing-Product costing calculates the cost of the sales order item on the basis of the sales order BOM
2)Unit costing-Unit costing is used if the system cannot access a sales order BOM.
You can copy the results of sales order costing to the SD conditions. Copying can be carried out:
a)as a basis for pricing-If you want to use sales order costing as a basis for pricing in SD, you can use the standard SAP condition type EK01.
b)at a statistical level-You can copy sales order costing at a statistical level, if you do not wish to determine the price on the basis of this costing, but you wish to use the costs determined to calculate the profit margin in SD. EK02 is the condition type provided for this in the standard system.
VPRS is used, you may want to compare the prices with costs or even implement contribution margin accounting.
The condition type VPRS goes into the valuation segment in the material master and determines from this the standard price or average price.
a)The condition type VPRS is labeled as a statistical condition in the pricing procedure.
b)Using the condition category G, the condition type VPRS goes into the valuation segment of the material master and determines from here the standard or average price.
c)The condition category S always accesses the standard price whereas condition category T always accesses the average price.
d)The profit margin is determined using the calculation formula 11 assigned in the pricing procedure. In this calculation formula the cost price is subtracted from the subtotal of net value 2.

thanks A LOT Aaron, that is some comfort but Please tell me a few notable enhancement, i had a look at intel site but it could not tell any a mjor difference i wonder if you can, many thanks
    Some of the differences are:
Die shrink from 65nm to 45nm; it is more energy efficient (i.e. it should use less power); it has a larger level 2 cache and it should run a little cooler then the E6000 series.  Also reviewers have said that they are running about 5 to 15% faster clock for clock compared to the E6000 series.
Downside right now is that they are in short supply and priced higher then expected because of it.

  • Difference between RV_PRICE_PRINT_ITEM and RV_PRICE_PRINT_ITEM_BUFFER FMs

    Hi Experts,
I want to know the difference between RV_PRICE_PRINT_ITEM and RV_PRICE_PRINT_ITEM_BUFFER function modules.
Both FMs are meant to fetch all pricing condtions for document.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sagar

In the calculation schema you can customize your conditions. E.G: if they shall be printed or not.
So the FM gets you back two tables of conditions.
    TKOMV (ALL of em)
TKOMVD (Just the ones that are marked as to be printed)
Those ones from TKOMVD are the ones you need for invoice printing.
But for calculation issues or whatever you may need to have a look at some conditions which are not marked as to be printed and so you get TKOMV back to be able to do so.

  • Difference between customizing and configuration?

Is there any Difference between customizing and configuration?

    Hi Rajesh,
What is Client? What is the difference between Customization and Configuration?
The difference between cutomizing and configuration is:
    - CONFIGURATION: we will configure the system to meet the needs of your business by using the existing data.
    - CUSTOMIZING: we will customise or adapt the system to your business requirements, which is the process of mapping SAP to your business process.
    - CLIENT: A client is a unique one in organizational structure, can have one or more company codes. Each company code is its own legal entity in finance.
    Configuration  vs. Customization
When considering enterprise software of any type, it is important to understand the difference between configuration and customization. The crux of the difference is complexity. Configuration uses the inherent flexibility of the enterprise software to add fields, change field names, modify drop-down lists, or add buttons. Configurations are made using powerful built-in tool sets. Customization involves code changes to create functionality that is not available through configuration. Customization can be costly and can complicate future upgrades to the software because the code changes may not easily migrate to the new version.Wherever possible, governments should avoid customization by using configuration to meet their goals.Governments also should understand their vendor's particular terminology with regard to this issue since words like "modifications" or "extensions" often mean different things to different vendors.

  • Difference between Olant sale and Depot sale

What is the basic difference between plant sale and depot sale? is there any difference with respect to their confighration part?

    Hi !
With regards to your query, as per the business requirements of a company a company can have depots and plants for retail sales , and sales directly to customers from manufacturing plants.
For this there can be different codes for depots locations and plants and different storage locations respectively.
Also pricing may vary both for raw materials and FG, since manufacturing might be carried out under a contract agreement, scheduling agreement etc and retail sales may be at standard market rates.
Thus the pricing procedures would vary.
The norms for customer account groups and credit exposure would also vary.
    Plz reward points if helpful.
