    I just opened up a Pages document, after my Lion upgrade.  I want to use the orginal document, make changes and save as a new document.  However, when I clicked on "File" to go to the "Save As," I discovered it is no longer there.  Where is the "Save As" feature now.  This is, obviously, a crucial need.

    Hello! I said... I want the ability to input analogue video into my camcorder so I can continue to transfer VHS and input and record video from other sources. The new HD cameras on the market will not allow you to record video from any source except for the lens.
    I have HD cable box. I want to record my HD programs from cable (HBO, Starz, etc) to my camera, download the video to my Mac from the camera and then edit them in iMovie and create professional looking movie DVD's in iMovie.
    iMovie HD can work with mini DV HD cameras and HD video. I was not aware of a system requirement for working with HD content.

    As Bob said, though, this is generally a hardware/driver issue of some sort. I've just seen a case where some malware was causing BSOD when trying to run or install a scanner. When I got the malware off the machine the BSOD problem was instantly cured.

    Okay, first, thanks to Adobe for putting soft proofing in. Boy, did we need that one!
    But where, oh where, is the thing where my laptop DB checks in with my main image DB back at the studio, refreshing the studio DB with recent edits I've done on the laptop and adding the new photos I've taken?
    Serious LR users need this feature, and I for one am very dissapointed that we didn't get it.
    Or will we?

    As it may not make the final release, and we wouldn't want the request to get lost in beta land, might I suggest adding the request to the Feature Request forum http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family where it can easily be tracked?  Or if you search there, you should find similar requests that you might like to add your vote to.

  • Where are the many missing features in Numbers found?

    The more that I use Numbers the less likely that I will ever go through the motions of trying to get Numbers to do enough of the things that have to be done in order for my income tax program to work. Like in another post I have some of my smaller tax forms to say that they are too big to be imported. There seems to be too many missing features to do a useful job.
    This leaves trying to use Numbers to handle new small, small, small spreadsheets. At the present times I have little problem setting up a format for a cell providing the formatting is available. In Excel the easiest way to copy a format to a new cell is to use format painter. Many time copy/paste will work. But copy/paste will move the formula also. I have not been able to find a way to do this with Numbers.
    So far the sliders feature is the one feature that interests me enough to try to use Numbers in the real work handling portion of my business. Many things I want to do either I can't find out how to do them or there are too many added keystrokes needed compared to Excel to make me want to do a spreadsheet in Numbers.
    Since the majority of my spreadsheets do not use a header row or header column I have to get that turned off. Tax sheets have a lot of blank spaces to start things out & normally will be different than the next sheet.
    I used a lot of cell/range names as well as individual cells. I use 450+ cell names in my main Form 1040, A,B,D,NE,IA page. That still leaves me needing to know the row/column designation most of the time. I cannot find where that information is displayed in Numbers.
    I keep looking, but generally do not find the needed feature that I need. Many like the cell designation is so basic. Being able to use the arrow keys to move to a cell for inclusion in a formula is another one that I am unable to do. Using the help files do not come close to answering any question that I have with Numbers. Where is the Numbers, "Missing Manual?" I need what I don't have & may not be made at the current time.
    Like Pages 1.0, Numbers 1.0 doesn’t seem ready for prime time use. There are too many missing features be a very complete spreadsheet. Some I probably can’t find, some probably are not there.
    I need help.

    When i read the DW help, the Edge Inspect feature must be located at "File->Preview in Browser->Preview in Edge Inspect". The last menu item is missing.

    You should have Adobe Edge Inspect and Google Chrome installed on your machine for this menu item to appear.

    We have switch from EPM 11.1.2.1 to EPM 11.1.2.3 with Smart View 11.1.2.5.200 and I'm not able to find the Report Designer feature on Smart View ?
    This feature allow us to include several smart slice in the same worksheet and also to use slider for POV
    Oracle removed this feature from Smart View ?

    This feature is not removed in 11.1.2.5.200
    In Excel After creating the essbase connection > Navigate to Essbase > Query > Query Designer.
    Or Look at the lower right hand corner where you will see the link for Query Designer.

  • Where is the help forums?

    Man Oh Man I am completely lost. Some how I cannot find the help forums.... I have searched "help" and "Help Forum" and nothing is coming up. Iused to click on the "bubble Icons" and it took me right to the help forums, now I get this double column deal with no apparent logic or order to it!
    Imused to be able to look for answers and post topics for troubleshooting and it was amazing. I think Apple has outsourced it's forum area to India!
    If anyone knows where to look or can send me a link some how, I would appreciate it. I will not be able to check back to this comment because I have no idea where it's going but hopefuy someone will get it and can respond to me directly??
    Not sure if I'm signed in or not and not sure where to go to find the Forums. I have been unable to find them for quite sometime now.

    Hi John,
    You are correct that the previous set of Application Server 7 forums have been merged into this one. All of the previously posted messages are still here.
    You may have noticed that we've been making a lot of changes to the organization of these forums. One thing we decided to do was merge together multiple forums related to the same product. There were a lot of reasons, including very low traffic on some of the individual forums. In the case of Application Server 7, the change was pretty dramatic. We hope that once people are used to it, it will prove to work well.
    But we are also still actively working on improving these forums, and will be making more changes, including adding forums over time. In addition to monitoring the forums usage, we will definitely be listening to feedback from forums users.

    I've not been able to find anything about the new services that OS X integrates with. For example, in Safari I can only choose between Google, Yahoo and Bing. In QuickTime Player I can only upload to YouTube and Vimeo, and the only microblogging service I can add is Twitter.
