READ_ERROR_FROM_CLIENT
When I try and attach a large file through the wl-proxy, I get a READ_ERROR_FROM_CLIENT:
trying to POST /jive4/attach.jspa, Client-Auth reports: Cannot buffer client data
-wl-proxy reports: IO error reading POST data at line 628 of proxy.cpp, system error: The operation completed successfully.
-exception occurred: READ_ERROR_FROM_CLIENT [os error=0, line 629 of proxy.cpp]: reading client POST data failed.
What do you guys think it is?
Any help on above problem pls
Dataadapter.fill (ds,"DATATABLE")

It is working fine with IE 6> , Mozilla firefox..
But it is giving issue for file upload in Opera browser...
following is log of proxy plugin 'libproxy.so' on iplanet server.

IO timeout erros on webservers
We are seeing the below errors in the webserver logs. I need some help to understand what would be causing these?
[06/Sep/2011:11:04:55] failure ( 625): for host 10.33.17.92 trying to POST /rax/faces/jsf-custom/dealwithit.jspx, wl-proxy reports: IO error reading POST data at line 673 of proxy.cpp, system error: 'IO timeout error'

[06/Sep/2011:11:38:52] failure ( 625): for host 10.33.17.92 trying to GET /rax/faces/jsf-custom/uk/keepitalive.jspx, wl-proxy reports: exception occurred for backend host '195.233.217.157/7106/0': 'READ_ERROR_FROM_SERVER [os error=0, line 841 of URL.cpp]: Unexpected EOF reading HTTP status - failover request based on Idempotent flag'
[06/Sep/2011:11:54:20] failure ( 625): for host 10.33.17.92 trying to POST /ra/faces/jsf-custom/dealwithit.jspx, wl-proxy reports: IO error reading POST data at line 673 of proxy.cpp, system error: 'IO timeout error'
[06/Sep/2011:11:54:20] failure ( 625): for host 10.33.17.92 trying to POST /ra/faces/jsf-custom/dealwithit.jspx, wl-proxy reports: exception occurred: 'READ_ERROR_FROM_CLIENT [os error=11, line 674 of proxy.cpp]: reading client POST data failed'I would recommend to check the following:
a. Whether we are using the latest available WLS plugin, which can be checked adding the following directive in the httpd.conf:
DebugConfigInfo ON
And then run the following request from the browser:
http://<ip>:<port>/console/console.portal?__WebLogicBridgeConfig
You can use the same in case you are proxying the request of the admin console using the web server, else change the url to that of the application and then add "?__WebLogicBridgeConfig" at the end. Check the build date of the plugin and in case its quite old then try the latest one.
b. Enable the plugin logging using:
Debug ALL
and redirect the logging of the same to a log file using:
WLLogFile /tmp/wlproxy.log
and then review the log created for the complete request follow and check whether there are any issue with the plugin and server communication and in case there are any logging stating "Marking the server as bad", in case that is the case then we need to check the cause of the same.
Normally, when a node in the cluster configuration is marked bad, then the plug-ins fails over if Idempotent is set to ON and the servers respond with an error such as READ_ERROR_FROM_SERVER.
c. Additionally set:
DynamicServerList ON
d. You can check the value of the "WLIOTimeoutSecs" which is currently configured and check whether the request is taking longer then the mentioned time. To confirm the same you can increase the value of the parameter and observe if there are less error. If thats the case then you need to review the cause of the same.
Refer the following for more information on the above mentioned directives:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/web.1111/e16435/plugin_params.htm
