Read/write table rather than calling BAPI

Hi experts,
I need set "Deliv. compl." flag as true .
set NOMOREGR='X' when call BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE
I want to read/write table rather than calling BAPI, but I don't know what's the table, what's the field.
who can tell me?  How to find that?
I pressed "F1" key in the checkbox (Deliv. compl. flag), then I clicked "Technical infomation", and I got "MEPO1313-ELIKZ", but it's a struct, not a table.
Many thanks.

I happened to recall something about MEPO from way back when.... and the "EPO" suggested EKPO and EKKO to me...
However, I utilize WHERE-USED function a lot.  For instance, in this case, one might go into SE11, enter ELIKZ into the data type field, and select WHERE-USED.  This takes a bit of research since field ELIKZ is used often as completion indicator, LOEKZ as deletion indicator, etc.
Best wishes,
Dave

Are there settings in Acrobat to enable a PDF file to open in Acrobat or Acrobat Reader by Default rather than open in a Browser

There is a check box in the preference (under edit). I have not had great success with this setting, but that is what it is supposed to do. Don't expect it to happen in Chrome that has it's own PDF viewer (or the preview function on a MAC). You might also check the settings for your particular browser.

  • Join conference via Lync call rather than Call Me At

We have deployed Lync Server 2013 and are just beginning to deploy it in small doses to portions of the organization.  We are using a combination of Lync 2010 and 2013 for clients.  This post is regarding the Lync 2013 client.
We use Lync with Cisco telephony via Remote Call Control.  We do have PC-to-PC calling enabled in addition to RCC (the Telephony setting in Lync Control Panel on the user accounts is "Remote Call Control").  We are not using Enterprise
    Voice.
After deploying Lync as simply an IM + telephony client, we have begun to focus on rolling out the web conferencing functionality.  In doing so, we have noticed strange behavior which I describe below.
Let us assume that someone other than me creates web conference by selecting two people, including me, in their Lync contacts list in the client, right clicks, and selects "Start a conference all" and then chooses "Lync call".  I
see a Lync toast notification appear, inviting me to a conference.  It says the conference organizer's name and says "Conference Call".  If I click the toast to accept the conference, my Cisco telephone extension immediately begins to ring.
In the meantime, in the Lync conference in the client I see "Join Conference Call" and "Other".  If I answer answer my telephone extension or push the Join Conference Call button, I am successfully joined to the Lync audio conference
and can speak with anyone else that joined the conference, whether they are using Lync audio or Cisco telephony.
The problem is that there are cases where we want to do a video conference.  I am aware that can only be done if using Lync audio rather than the Cisco telephony.  I can disconnect from the conference call by hanging up my Cisco extension.
When I do so, the Lync conference in the client shows a notification that gives me the option to rejoin the conference.  The "Rejoin" button has a down arrow, and if I expand it I can select "Rejoin using Lync Call" and if I do that
I can now see others' webcams and can share my own webcam with the conference.
My question is: how can I elect to join the conference in the first place with a Lync call rather than having the Lync conference bridge dial my Cisco extension?  There does not seem to be a way to do this that we can get to work.  For instance,
I mentioned that after I have clicked the Lync toast notification after being added to the conference and my Cisco phone begins ringing that I see the options "Join Conference Call" and "Other" in Lync client.  If I open the Other
options, I see "Join using Lync Call" as an option.  If I select that option, my Cisco phone answers the call and I am joined to the Lync audio conference with my Cisco phone and not Lync audio.
Please note that I already checked the Phone section in the Lync 2013 client options and the box "Before I join meetings, ask which audio device I want to use" is checked and the "Join meeting audio" drop-down box is set to "Lync".

Sorry, I misread your question and now see that I did not pre-emptively answer it.  I just tested it and unchecked the box "Before I join meetings, ask which audio device I want to use" and made sure "Join meeting audio" was set to "Lync".  Even
after doing so, the behavior is the same:  the Cisco phone automatically rings and any action to join the conference results in the Cisco phone extension being picked up.
Basically, it seems that if you use that "Start a Conference Call" option from the Lync contacts list, the Lync preferences set in the recipients' Lync clients are ignored.  If you schedule a Lync conference via Outlook or people use the Lync meeting
URL in their Internet browser, it does respect the preferences correctly.  It seems like it might be a bug.
I would be interested if any other Lync Server 2013 users with Lync client 2013 and using RCC could repeat my tests and see if they have the same issue.

  • Filter table data without calling BAPI

    Hi all,
How I can filter VC table without calling BAPI or other backend? The objective is to bring a large data only once and allow to user filtering of this data.
The problem is that the filter options are dynamic so I can't use "hidden tables" workarownd.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Ola

    Hi,
I think this is not possible, because you can only filter the data once with the filter element. If you use a BI query you can use filters. Maybe you can bring the data to a hidden table and get the data again from this table with different filter elements resp. dynamic filter values, but I think this is very tricky and not a good solution.

    Marcel

  • Possible to meet with Customer Service Rep, rather than call?

We have been overcharged on our bill (ATT Uverse) on so many occasions, and there are so many inaccuracies on the bills submitted, that we need to sit face-to-face with an intelligent customer service representative and go through all the bills for the last 5 months, in order to reach a comprehensive solution.  Calling customer service has not been helpful.  They seem to be looking at different charges and different bills than the ones in front of us, not to mention the incompetency of some of the reps with whom we have been dealing.  I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau...however, I want to give it one last try, before filing as many complaints as possible.   Is there a way to meet (not call) with a customer service representative, who can go through the hard copy bills with us?  Would going to their corporate office help?

Send a message to the  ATT Customer Care team.  This group has been known to get things done but give them two to three business days to respond.  Be sure to include a detailed message of your issues along with your name and account number.

  • Write table to SAP (BAPI, ActiveX...)

    Hello everybody,
I have to do a SW that interfaces with SAP. I already have functions to login/out, read/write a single parameter, and read a table (all this trough BAPI ActiveX), but I’m not able to write in a SAP table.
Does somebody already have done this job?
    Many thanks for any advice!
    Pierre-Alain
    (LV2010SP1 or 2014SP1, W7, SAP Business Client 3.5)

Many thanks, nyc, mike, for your responses and interest!
I find SAP doc not so easy to transpose into LabVIEW code...
    Error happends like this:
Login SAP: OK (work also in other programs)
Add name of the specific BAPI function to be used: OK (work also in other programs)
Input of several single parameters (strings): OK (work also in other programs)
Input of 2 Tables (2x same VI): see code here enclosed. No error at this point. (never tested in other programs)
Call of BAPI function (code tested OK in other programs) but returns an error "SYSTEM_FAILURE"
Reading some return parameters (code tested OK in other programs, but do not works here because of System_Failure)
Close ref and Logoff  (code tested OK in other programs)
I enclose also in this mail an image showing the main VI (named "Créer contenu HU.vi") making all this procedure. You will see that the error comes after the function call.
I'm not a SAP pro (and far away!), but the SAP specialist has tested the BAPI function (with php?) and the function works. So the first suspect code is the one attached here.
Please ask me if you need more details.
Many thanks in advance, best regards,
    Pierre-Alain

  • Using javascript to call a signed applet's read/write functions problem.

Hi, I wan't to use javascript to call the read/write functions of my signed java applet.
The applet can read/write fine, if its called from inside the applet, but when I make public functions to do the read/write and then call those functions from javascript, i get the old security exception.
    Has anyone done this before?
    Thanks

From what I understand is that for example file IO can only be done if the current method
has this privilege and the stack that called the current method had this privilege.
Javascript doesn't have any privilege and calling methods that do file IO directly from
javascript should not work, this bug was fixed in 1.4.2.
The workarround AccessController.doPrivileged(new PrivilegedAction() { might allso be
fixed in later versions since changing the privileges of currently executing code is
someting that should not be possible when the currently executing code is called from
    "untrusted" (javascript) code.

  • Force used cached/local rather than download "script" each time

in my jsp , i have this
    <script language="javascript" src="something.js"></script>
so each time the jsp page is loaded, the browser will gurantee go to the server and download something.js . is there anyway to force something.js to remain in user browser cache as long as possible > 30 days or so... so that the next time user visit the website, this something.js can be skipped and speed up page load time?

I doubt it. Once the user closes his browser, I image the cache is wiped out. Also, it is not likely to keep his browser open for 30 days straight. I don't think this is a good area to look into to speed up your application. Even if you could cache the *.js, I doubt it will speed things up much. In performance tuning, you normally identify the worst bottleneck, fix it, then move on to the next one. Bottlenecks often involve fetching too much data from the database at once (example: fetching all the records from a database table rather than a subset). Also, sending too much information to the display, so much that the user can't possibly use at one viewing. In code, its often creating too many objects.

  • Clustering read-write entity beans

reading the WLS 6.1 documentation, it's unclear to me whether read-write entity
              bean
method calls load-balancing and failover are supported. here's an excerpt from
              "Understanding Object Clustering":
"When a home finds or creates a read-write entity bean, it obtains an instance
              on
the local server and returns a stub pinned to that server. Load balancing and
failover occur only at the home level."
but here's what i find under "The WebLogic Server EJB Container":
"read-write entity EJBs supports automatic failover on a safe exception,
if home-is-clusterable is set to true. For example, failover is automatically
supported if there is a failure after a method completes, or if the method
fails to connect to a server."
              anyone know which is true?
              yan

In WLS 6.1, there is fail-over for entity beans in a cluster. The stub contains a
special load-balancing algorithm that returns to your original server until it
fails. Then it will fail-over to a new server. If a server fails during a
method-call, automatic fail-over only happens on a safe exception. Basically, when
WLS determines that you have not actually connected to the failed server and have
not done any work in the current transaction.

  • Sysssislog got created as a regular rather than a system table

Hi. we run 2012 enterprise.  I believe some testing I did on a new pkg recently created dbo.sysssislog (may have looked to sql like it was first time and it needed to create a new one) in the tables folder rather than tables\system tables folder.
But I believe we have other pkgs that create it (first time) under system tables.  How can I better control this?

    thx Samir
Hopefully u understand from the question that I am past that.
There is no textbox on the connection manager's dialogue to override the behavior (ie that dbo.sysssilog be placed in the system tables folder called
tables\system tables)  where     dbo.sysssislog ended up with all of the other user tables, essentially in the folder called
    tables.
There is no property in the connection's properties where tables\system tables
    can be specified.
There is no property in the config ssis logs dialogue (the one u showed)        where a path (tables\system tables) can be specified.
I reread Deepak's post and believe he is truly talking about a config file, that perhaps like u said I need to create.  I'm not sure why u r talking about the dialogue boxes.  I'm now asking if the file I mentioned is the key to controlling
this.  I know what a connection manager is.

  • Formatting external drive for read/write PC/Mac & files greater than 4GB

I'm on Snow Leopard and deliver an external drive off-site to a video editor who needs to read/write to the drive and return the edited files and then I need to read/write all over again. All video files are greater than 4GB. How would I go about this? Third party applications like MacDrive create too much overhead when processing video files. FAT32 limits file sizes to 4GB.

    Hi WillDuffy;
Your requirement of files greater than 4GB eliminates FAT.
In your case since you don't have access to the PC, I am afraid you are forced to use the NTFS. This will require you to use the reverse engineered effort called NTFS-3G to be able to write to the disk from your Mac. Sorry.

  • Log In using Query Rather Than a Table

    I am using CS5.
I would to login but get the username and password from a query rather than a table.
I am using ASP Vbscript.  The server behavior onlyl shows the tables, not the tables and queries.
I can change the SQL and it works but there must a better way,.
    Thanks

I don't think there is a better way. Defining a recordset based on a query is fine, but it's not something that DW handles natively.

  • Is ther a BAPI or RFC that can read any table ?

I want to read 35 tables in SAP database. Is ther a BAPI or RFC that can read any table ?
If I use RFC to read these tables, I will write a lot of codes. It may be a large work.

    Check these FM
    RFC_READ_TABLE
    RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES

  • TSQL code that causes table data to be deleted rather than fail with a compilation error

    Afternoon,
I recently did this by accident and it felt as though it should have failed with a compilation error rather than run
    A query of the form
    delete from jobs
    where id in
    select id from calibrations
will delete all rows in the jobs table when the id column exists in the jobs table, but not the calibrations table. This should fail with a compilation error.
the following sql can be used to generate a test database to show the problem
    USE [test]
    GO
    /****** Object:  Table [dbo].[calibrations]    Script Date: 28/11/2014 13:32:59 ******/
    SET ANSI_NULLS ON
    GO
    SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON
    GO
    CREATE TABLE [dbo].[calibrations](
        [JobId] [int] NULL,
        [textfield] [nvarchar](50) NULL
    ) ON [PRIMARY]
    GO
    /****** Object:  Table [dbo].[jobs]    Script Date: 28/11/2014 13:32:59 ******/
    SET ANSI_NULLS ON
    GO
    SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON
    GO
    CREATE TABLE [dbo].[jobs](
        [Id] [int] NOT NULL,
        [Name] [nchar](10) NULL
    ) ON [PRIMARY]
    GO
    INSERT [dbo].[calibrations] ([JobId], [textfield]) VALUES (1, N'something')
    GO
    INSERT [dbo].[jobs] ([Id], [Name]) VALUES (1, N'a         ')
    GO
    INSERT [dbo].[jobs] ([Id], [Name]) VALUES (2, N'b         ')
    GO
    INSERT [dbo].[jobs] ([Id], [Name]) VALUES (3, N'c         ')
    GO
    INSERT [dbo].[jobs] ([Id], [Name]) VALUES (4, N'd         ')
    GO
    INSERT [dbo].[jobs] ([Id], [Name]) VALUES (5, N'e         ')
    GO
    INSERT [dbo].[jobs] ([Id], [Name]) VALUES (6, N'f         ')
    GO
    Simon
    simon

will delete all rows in the jobs table when the id column exists in the jobs table,
but not the calibrations table. This should fail with a compilation error.
    Hello Simon,
That's a bug in your T-SQL Statement, not in SQL Server. The Statement as it is valid and column "id" exists, so why should it fail on compilation?
And that is the reason why we always should use full qualified object name, e.g. like
    delete from jobs AS J
    where J.id in
select SUB.id from calibrations AS SUB
and this Statement should fail on compilation.
