Sysssislog got created as a regular rather than a system table

Hi. we run 2012 enterprise.  I believe some testing I did on a new pkg recently created dbo.sysssislog (may have looked to sql like it was first time and it needed to create a new one) in the tables folder rather than tables\system tables folder. 
But I believe we have other pkgs that create it (first time) under system tables.  How can I better control this?

Hopefully u understand from the question that I am past that.
There is no textbox on the connection manager's dialogue to override the behavior (ie that dbo.sysssilog be placed in the system tables folder called
tables\system tables)  where     dbo.sysssislog ended up with all of the other user tables, essentially in the folder called
tables. 
There is no property in the connection's properties where tables\system tables
can be specified.
There is no property in the config ssis logs dialogue (the one u showed)        where a path (tables\system tables) can be specified.
I reread Deepak's post and believe he is truly talking about a config file, that perhaps like u said I need to create.  I'm not sure why u r talking about the dialogue boxes.  I'm now asking if the file I mentioned is the key to controlling
this.  I know what a connection manager is.

    Chris, my guess is you may be confused by one or more tilde files inside the project, a project file with a tilde (~) in its name.
    If the project was begun in iMovie 4, the project resides in an iMovie 4 type-folder, not an iMovie 6 package. The folder lets you see the tilde file. For projects begun in iMovie 5 or 6, the project is a package instead of a folder. And you never see the tilde file, for the package looks like a file instead of a folder.

    My guess is you're opening the wrong project file to re-open the project. So when you save, it's saving a new tilde file.
    The whole issue is rather confusing. Check out the topic, and if you can't get it straightened out say more about what's going on there.

    PS: If you haven't yet, create a new iMovie 6 project, add something to it and save. To look inside the package, Control-click on the project (in the Finder) and choose "Show Package Contents" from the popUp menu. You will see one tilde project file and one project file without a tilde. That's ALL the project files you should ever see.

    MV is a seprate object. You might need to create an indexes on MViews based on how you are accessing that MV. You need to take a same preacutions what you take to create an index on the table,

    ThanksThe renderer actually used is based on the value returned by getRendererType(). If you are subclassing UICommand but not overriding this (or setting it in some other way), you're going to find that the default renderer type for a UICommand is "Button". You'll want to change it (to "Link" in this case) to select the hyperlink rendering.

    Absolutely - do not respond to such things; reputable companies do not send texts requiring you to use a password. If they are giving you this 6 digit number, it may be a key logger (logging every key you hit including passwords, etc).

  • Post to a Session rather than DB via  ADDT

    Is there the means to Post to a Session via the ADDT ?
    I've been using the extensions for a month or so and find the means to update Database values a breeze but I do not see any options for dealing with a Session value.
    I've got a page the does a Horizontal Looper and displays 6 products per page. I want to have the ability to update a Session to save selected models much like a shopping cart. Then on a final checkout page I would like to display the results and then allow a checkbox for each value saved. Deselecting a checkbox removes it from the values submitted via email to a predetermined address.
    I'm using a Javascript function to post the value of a selection via a URL String and then displaying that value on a pop-up page to confirm their addition to the session. So far no problems.
    But now I want to take the known value and insert it into a running session that will store all the inserted values.
    Do I have to hand code this or is there an extension value I am not seeing or can I specify a Session and post to that rather than the DB table?
    Or is the case that I should be using a temp table in the DB to store these values and then use a recordset to display the saved values?
    Basically I do not want to commit the values until I allow the user to review and manage their saved items via checkboxes.
    Any tutorials on this or advice from others that have done something similar , perhaps in a shopping cart?

    It´s users such as you who might get heard, not me -- I don´t have anyone´s ear when it comes to considering additional features or not.
    However, dedicated shopping carts might still be the better & more professional solution IMHO -- retrieving cookies or session variables with javascript is quite insecure/unreliable in itself, I personally wouldn´t consider that.
    I thought about your scenario some more, and it´s clear you would need a better and unique detection of the current user who might not even have an account at your site, means who can´t be detected via ADDT´s "kt_login_id" session variable :: when user X enters your home-made "shopping cart", you can create a random numeric ID and assign this one to a session variable -- this one can be used in whatever other cart page and finally also stored in the DB respectively (on the checkout page) used for creating the query which will send the list of ordered items and a confirmation using ADDT´s Send Email behaviour.     The Temp DB method seems like it could have problems with clean up
    Is "cleaning up" really the the right thing to do ? After all, you respectively the customer might want to track his ordering transactions done in the past.

  • Notifications user system GUID rather than ID Defined in XML

    I've been working on creating, and sealing a set of management packs that anyone could import and use, and I've hit a bit of a snag. There are a number of things in the management pack that seem to be expressed using a system GUID rather than the ID defined
    in the management pack. To give an example, inside one of the management packs there is a template named  with the ID "Template_2189ec1298d647a5b971c5429e72a04e". When this template is referenced by a notification workflow, the workflow uses
    a system GUID to reference it instead. It seems as though, when a management pack is imported, the system creates all of the objects within in, so these system GUIDs are not the same and cannot be predicted. I'm having the same issue with Support Groups and
    other things as well.
    In the definition of my Notification Channel for example, one of the workflow parameters is the TemplateID the notification should use to sent the alert (Note <Item>):

    I built my management packs, and tried to move them to a new system, they imported no problems now that I've sealed them, but when I went in and looked the template for the notification channel was blank, and since the management pack is sealed now, I can't
    change it. I thought it was odd, so I referenced my XML, and I used this to get the ID of all the templates, and I noted... now they all seem different now that I've imported them into the new system:

    I realized, when you import the management pack the first time, it must created GUIDs for all these things... is there a way to within the management pack reference the ID I can define, rather than the system GUID that's impossible to fix? I'm going to look
    into writing a script that uses smlets to correct all this information and update the MP once it's been imported the first time, but that seems like a bit of a hack, there must be a way to do this? Anyone find elegant solutions to this problem that didn't
    involve writing a fancy installer script for their management packs?

    I'll give that a try, I tried just the MP reference and the error it gave complained it expected a GUID in a particular format.
    A bunch of them are notifications that notify "affected user" or other internal references, that shouldn't need to change, the ones that go to people, or groups will have to be in an unsealed management pack. Initially, my goal was just to try
    to get as much as I could into a few management packs as possible to avoid having a large amount of management packs, more it's just looking like this isn't possible.
    I'm looking at breaking things down like this:
    Incident Customizations
    Incident Customizations Overrides
    Service Request Customizations
    Service Request Customizations Overrides
    Work Item Customizations (storing some things common to all work items, like urgency)
    Service Catalog
    Notifications
    So, my initial hope was to avoid splitting out ROs and SOs, putting any changes that need to be made quickly into the Override MPs. What this means, is that my solution can be implemented, and then customized without making changes to the core MPs directly
    in PRD, then I have a promotion process. I dislike changing things in PRD on the fly, and would prefer a solution that forced people to use a promotion process, but it's looking like with Notifications, ROs, and SOs, it's just not possible.
    Regardless of whether I'm going to seal this management pack or not, I'd like to avoid manually fixing every single Notification, or anything that references one of these internal GUIDs every time I implement this in a new system, since the possibility is
    totally there for the MP name to be used instead, I'm confused why that isn't the default behavior.

    I don't think its possible to create fieldcatalog for different tables,
    but if you want to do so create a dummy table which has all the fields which you want in fieldcatalog.
    populate the data from different table to that dummy table
    then create fieldcatalog for that table and pass it in the function module...

    There are two things we use the name "Slideshow" for in Aperture:  a Slideshow Album, used for making Slideshows, and the Slideshow that is made.  (Imho, it is a design mistake to not call the containers used to create Slideshows, Books, etc., "Albums".)
    The Slideshow will use the Album Pick from any Stack.  A good way to use Aperture is to promote the Image you want to regularly use (such as, for example, a Version with adjustments) to the top of the Stack.  This makes it the Stack Pick, and will be the default Album Pick.  If you haven't done that, you can still change the Album Pick for any Stack in a Slideshow Album.  Expand your Stack(s), select the Image in each Stack that you want to be the Album Pick (and thus shown in the Slideshow), and "Stacks➞Set Album Pick".  (Note the keyboard shortcut; there is also a Toolbar icon for this.)  The change is immediate.  The Slideshow will always show the Album Pick (or, if there is not one, the Stack Pick) for every Stack in your Slideshow Album.

    Hi,
    You have the choice between xml or pdf, in later versions of designer you can choose with a dropdown on the email button Object palette, the "Submit As";
    In earlier version you had to edit the XML Source and change the format from xml to pdf (or vice-versa);

    Surely the reason i have saved certain photos into albums already from my mac means i like the selection already. So i would like to just share the whole album rather than having to select all the individual photos from the album. Ive tried but maybe im being a doofus and missing something??????

    This is normal and is how Apple handles photos.
    There are NOT duplicate photos.
    Just as a song is in your itunes library and you can access that exact same song from a playlist,  all  photos synced to iphone are in the photo library and those exact same photos (NOT duplicates) can be accessed from the individual albums.
    It is working exactly as it should.

    It must have found the old backup corrupt.. so you will more than likely have little choice. You can archive off the old backup if it is still useful.

    then import pics to computer

    when you open your 'Downloads' folder choose 'View'  in the Menu bar and choose:
    'as List'
    'Show View Options'
    In 'View options' window you tick:
    'Always open in list view'
    'Date Modified', or
    'Date created'
    Now inside the 'Downloads' folder click on 'Date Created' (or 'Date Modified')
    column to get items alined from oldest to newest date (or reverse)…
