Read XML with parse

Hi
accrording to my knowledge there are two type of push registry:
static registration and dynamic registration!!I don't know when we should use static registration,and when we should use dynamic registration!!And disadvantage of advantage of each type!!
THanks a lots

Hi
I belive that you should use static push registry when you know the number of the connections (for example 40 connections max). When you don't know the number of connections you should use the dynamic push registry.
Hope I could help

  • Can't read xml with a Reader?

    hi,
    is it correct that the java Reader classes for reading character streams can't be used for reading XML (in one-pass)?
    ie you don't know what encoding to read the file as until you've read the encoding attribute of the top level tag - and by then its too late - you'd have to start again?
    (i think this is how xml parsers must work?)
    thanks,
    asjf

    to be honest this was motivated by wanting a quick method to remove the DTD reference from an inputstream, without having to worry about whichever XML API was in use further down in the code (we've since settled on a particular API so this is no longer an issue)
    I've been told there are 2 legitimate ways to do this (with the help of the parser)
    A) configure the parser (parser-implementation-dependent)
    B) in SAX, provide an EntityResolver
    Last year I had opted for a gratuitous munge-around by manually reading the inputstream and removing the DTD reference
    this year we've started working with chinese documents.. so the code doesn't work since I was using the platform-encoding rather than the xml-declared encoding
    its pretty clear that (B) is the way to go but there are a few other technical hurdles to overcome first..
    i'm beginning to think that /all/ quick-workarounds come back to bite you soon enough..

    Hi Marcus,
    If you declare a default namespace using the XMLNamespaces clause, it'll apply to all unqualified elements referenced by the XQuery expression.
    In your attempt, ELMAKM, ELMAKOM and ELMAVerfahren are treated as being part of the default namespace, which is wrong since those nodes are in no namespace.
    To handle this kind of situations, where there are default namespace redefinitions down the tree, you have to declare a prefix :
    SELECT  x
           ,elma.UUID
    FROM    t
           ,XMLTABLE(
               XMLNamespaces('http://www.zivit.de/KiStA/KM/01.00-r000001' as "ns0")
            ,  '/ELMAKM/ELMAKOM/ELMAVerfahren/ns0:KISTA_KM_ANTW'
                PASSING t.x
                COLUMNS UUID       VARCHAR2(8)     PATH '@UUID'
                ) elma

  • How to read XML and parse all child nodes

    How can I do this?

    Hello,
    Using the xml you supplied I see a master-detail relationship going on which is best shown in at least two DataGridView controls or the master table hooked up to a BindingSourceNavigator then child rows for Database in a DataGridview or label or TextBox
    controls.
    The code below loads the xml data into a DataSet then uses two BindingSource components to create a master-detail setup that can be setup say in Form load event
    Dim ds As New DataSet
    ds.ReadXml(IO.Path.Combine(AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory, "XMLFile1.xml"))
    Master.DataSource = ds
    Master.DataMember = ds.Tables(0).TableName
    Details.DataSource = Master
    Details.DataMember = ds.Relations(0).RelationName
    DataGridView1.DataSource = Master
    DataGridView2.DataSource = Details
    Declare the BindingSource components at form level
    Private Master As New BindingSource
    Private Details As New BindingSource
    Screenshot using two DataGridView controls.
    I would suggest the above as other methods to place all columns into a DataGridView is problematic.

  • Problem parsing XML with schema when extracted from a jar file

    I am having a problem parsing XML with a schema, both of which are extracted from a jar file. I am using using ZipFile to get InputStream objects for the appropriate ZipEntry objects in the jar file. My XML is encrypted so I decrypt it to a temporary file. I am then attempting to parse the temporary file with the schema using DocumentBuilder.parse.
    I get the following exception:
    org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element '<root element name>'
    This was all working OK before I jarred everything (i.e. when I was using standalone files, rather than InputStreams retrieved from a jar).
    I have output the retrieved XML to a file and compared it with my original source and they are identical.
    I am baffled because the nature of the exception suggests that the schema has been read and parsed correctly but the XML file is not parsing against the schema.
    Any suggestions?
    The code is as follows:
      public void open(File input) throws IOException, CSLXMLException {
        InputStream schema = ZipFileHandler.getResourceAsStream("<jar file name>", "<schema resource name>");
        DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
        DocumentBuilder builder = null;
        try {
          factory.setNamespaceAware(true);
          factory.setValidating(true);
          factory.setAttribute(JAXP_SCHEMA_LANGUAGE, W3C_XML_SCHEMA);
          factory.setAttribute(JAXP_SCHEMA_SOURCE, schema);
          builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
          builder.setErrorHandler(new CSLXMLParseHandler());
        } catch (Exception builderException) {
          throw new CSLXMLException("Error setting up SAX: " + builderException.toString());
        Document document = null;
        try {
          document = builder.parse(input);
        } catch (SAXException parseException) {
          throw new CSLXMLException(parseException.toString());
        }

    I was originally using getSystemResource, which worked fine until I jarred the application. The problem appears to be that resources returned from a jar file cannot be used in the same way as resources returned directly from the file system. You have to use the ZipFile class (or its JarFile subclass) to locate the ZipEntry in the jar file and then use ZipFile.getInputStream(ZipEntry) to convert this to an InputStream. I have seen example code where an InputStream is used for the JAXP_SCHEMA_SOURCE attribute but, for some reason, this did not work with the InputStream returned by ZipFile.getInputStream. Like you, I have also seen examples that use a URL but they appear to be URL's that point to a file not URL's that point to an entry in a jar file.
    Maybe there is another way around this but writing to a file works and I set use File.deleteOnExit() to ensure things are tidied afterwards.

  • Trying to use XML SAX parser with JDK2 ...

    Hi,
    I'm pretty new to Java.
    I'm trying to write and use java sample using XML SAX parser. I try with XP and XML4J.
    Each time I compile it give me a error message like
    "SAX01.java:23: unreported exception java.lang.Exception; must be caught or declared to be

    (new SAX01()).countBooks();
    ^
    Note: SAX01.java uses or overrides a deprecated API.
    Note: Recompile with -deprecation for details.
    1 error"
    For what I found, it seems that "deprecated" mean usage of old classes or methods. What should I do ?
    Wait for the XML parser to be rewrite ? ....
    Thank's
    Constant

    "SAX01.java:23: unreported exception

    (new SAX01()).countBooks();

              System.out.println("problem "+ ex);
    Note: SAX01.java uses or overrides a deprecated API.
    Note: Recompile with -deprecation for details.
    1 error"deprecation is just a warning if there are no errors elsewhere in your program it should compile fine, but if you want to find out how to change it do this:
    javac YourClassName.java -deprecation
    then look in the docs for an alternative.

    Hi,
    I found the solution in the following post:
    Validate xml with DOM - no grammar found
    Sep 17, 2003 10:58 AM
    The solution is to add a line of code when parsing:
    try {
    Document document;
    DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    factory.setValidating(true);
    factory.setNamespaceAware(true);
    factory.setAttribute("http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxp/properties/schemaLanguage", "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema");
    DocumentBuilder builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
    document = builder.parse( new File(PathToXml) );
    The errors are gone !!!

  • Parsing the xml with out dom parser in Oracle10g

    Hi,
    I need to parse the xml and create new xml with out any parsers in oracle 10g.Please help me how to do this one.

    Parsing without a parser eh? Could be tricky. Maybe if you go to the XML DB forum and explain your problem over there someone can help you...

  • XML C++ Parser in Solaris 2.6 could not parse with encoding UTF-16

    I tried to use UTF-16 encoding in the XML C++ Parser in Solaris 2.6.
    xmlinit() fails and returns error 201 - i.e.Unknown encoding. Though the ORACLE documentation has many encodings including UTF-16. Quite a few of these encodings are not working.
    Can any one help about UTF-16.
    Thanks
