Reader doesn't play zero size (width x height) RMA, e. g. sound, anymore
Hi,
Just to make sure I didn't miss something. It seems that newer versions of Adobe Reader with separate FlashPlayer plugin deny playing zero size (i. e. not consuming document page space) RMAs anymore. In case of short auto-played sound RMAs, the user interface is not really necessary. So I used to embed such RMAs with zero dimensions into the document page. But recently they stopped playing, unless a small extension (in terms of page space) was given to them. Has this behaviour been introduced on purpose (perhaps for security reasons)?
Alex
Everything on a page has to have some presence. It was just lucky that what you've been doing up to now worked. Now it doesn't, and the reasons for code changes are not discussed with the general public. If you feel this change should be reversed, file a feature request at http://www.adobe.com/go/wish
I can't see any justification for a zero-size SWF - even if the sound is controlled by scripting you (and a reader) must have access to a page region to open the context menus. If you don't want any visible playhead, the correct workflow is to create a completely-transparent audio player in Flash that works as a play/stop button, so Flash Player has somewhere to hang its context menu.

Applet size width and height = 100%
Hello All.
I am using the large font in windows. So Iâve change the applet size in formsweb.cfg file to width=100% and height=100%. Now the applet area fills the browser windows when I maximize it. But if I try to resize it using the mouse from the lower right corner. The form will be busy and never respond to any event and staying like this forever.
Is there any one come across the problem?

Hello Taras99,
If you are getting inconsistent playback of movies purchased from iTunes, then take a look at the article below to check the settings on your computer to ensure that nothing is causing an issue. You may also want to delete the movie that is giving you trouble and download it again.

REP-1219 - Body has no size - width or length is zero
I run my report on my desktop and it runs fine. I then register it under the Concurrent Manager in Oracle Apps. When I run it, I get the following message: "REP-1219 - Body has no size - width or length is zero". Do you have any suggestions on why I only get this after I register it.
Hi John,
I think there is some problem in Report Header Or Report Footer, you do one small R&D. First you remove the Report Header and generate the report and Second Time you remove the Report Footer and generate the report.
I am sure that you will get the report...
If you get the report output then that means there is some problem in Report Header or Footer,After that in the Report Header before the Feilds, you keep some Space and in the Report Footer also after feild you keep some space.
Try This

Ravi

ITunes doesn't play wavs made on PC
I have backed up a number of PC files on a DVD and tried to put them on my iPod shuffle, using iTunes on my MacPro, when I realized that iTunes doesn't play them, so I can't put them on the shuffle. However, those wav files play alright in Quicktime on my Mac. Why not also on iTunes? Is there something that I have to enable, or some sort of conversion that I must do?
The files seem to load in the playlist, then they show in both the playlist and the Music folder. The files seem to be there, for when I Ctrl+click > Get info, within iTunes, it shows their size, sample rate, etc. It's just that they won't play.
Any suggestion will be much appreciated.
Message was edited by: aeneas12Yes, I have played almost endless numbers of WAVs in iTunes. These files have been created with foobar2000, PlexTools Professional, and EAC for the most part.
My PC is switched off right now so I can't play with NMP WAV files and iTunes, but I still think that if you simply use another program to reconvert the problematic files to WAV format again (a lossless process) with known good settings, the files will likely play in iTunes.
Also, it may be that NMP has created "floating point" vs. "fixed point" WAVs, and that would cause problems with iTunes. -
Animated GIF Doesn't Play To The End
I've created a simple animated GIF in Photoshop CS6, eight seconds long, 30fps.
I have several layers that fade out at and then more layers that fade IN at four seconds. It plays perfectly in Photoshop, but a rendered GIF doesn't play entirely to the end - it stops prematurely.
How do I fix this? I've tried the animated GIF in a browser and it does the same thing in a PPT slide.
Anyone?
Thanks.Thank you, Nancy.
I just reduced my project file down to 15fps and three seconds long. Testing the animation in the Save for Web dialogue box I see that it still won't play to the end. The fade-in stops before it's at 100% opacity.
The rendered GIF file size would be 242k. I HAVE to use Save for Web, as Save As will discard hidden layers and animations.
Still can't figure out what causes this, and I've had this happen to me before. (I bet I wouldn't have this problem rendering out of After Effects.) -
ITunes doesn't play podcasts in random mode
Hi.
I'm trying to play my podcasts mixed with the rest of my library in random mode. But it seems not to work.
iTunes random session doesn't play any podcast, unless you put them on it manually, what makes random session to play those songs forever (until you erase it).
I tried to create an automatic playlist with all my songs (including podcasts). The playlist is created fine but when I play it in random mode, it jumps the podcasts.
Any ideas of what can I do? Thanks.First of all, thank you for answering so soon.
I'm using iTunes 6.0.2.23.
The playlist is a smart playlist and it has to agree with three rules:
1- Podcast is true
2- My classification is (zero stars)
3- My classification is more than (zero stars)
With that, I create a playlist with all my songs, plus podcasts. And it is well created.
If I play that playlist NOT in random mode, it plays all the songs, including podcasts.
But if I play that playlist in random mode, it jumps the podcasts.

QuickTime VR Panorama doesn't play correctly from a webpage
http://www.nps.gov/features/glac/gallery/082105b.htm is supposed to play a QuickTime VR Panorama (082105suelake.mov). It contains the following <embed> tags:
<embed src="../video/panoramas/082105suelake.mov" width="600" height="465" autoplay="true" controller="true"></embed>
To play it, all you do is drag your clicked mouse across the image and it's supposed to play as long as your mouse is clicked.
That worked through Snow Leopard (Safari 5.1.10, etc.).
But with Lion and Mountain Lion (Safari 6.1.1, Firefox 27.0, and Google Chrome 32.0.1700.107, and earlier verisions), instead of moving with the clicked mouse, it would jump to what should have been its final position when the mouse was released.
Safari 7.0.1 correctly plays it (one of the reasons I upgraded from Lion to Mavericks), but sadly, Firefox 27.0 and
Google Chrome 32.0.1700.107 both behave on Mavericks as they did on Lion.
All three use QuickTime Plug-in 7.7.3 to play it; so, I figure Safari 7.0.1 must be providing some <embed> parameter values that Firefox and Chrome don't know about.
The standalone QuickTime Player 7 plays the panorama fine. It shows the following Properties:
everything else is either blank or the default values. The Inspector display shows
with the Video Track unchecked, and
with it checked. I can only imagine what happens on Windows (Internet Explorer, etc).
If you install the DivX Web Player (divx.com), DivX Web Player version 3.1.0.13 — from file “DivX Web Player.plugin” takes precedence over QuickTime Plug-in 7.7.3, when playing .mov files in Safari (doesn't get installed by default in Firefox or Chrome).
To get around that, I added type="video/quicktime" to the <embed> parameters, in http://home.comcast.net/~mybrandt/082105b.htm, hoping it would fix the problem Firefox and Chrome were having. A similar fix made Safari choose QuickTime over DivX, when playing a QuickTime movie.
But instead of playing it, like it did without DivX installed, with type="video/quicktime" added, Safari 7.0.1 now shows
where the panorama image should be. And, adding to my frustration, the extra parameter had no effect on Firefox or Chrome.
All are using QuickTime Plug-in 7.7.3, but don't behave the same — making this problem beyond my level of comprehension.
So, what are the necessary <embed>, or <object>, or QT_WriteOBJECT_HTML, or QT_WriteOBJECT_XHTML parameters for a QuickTime VR Panorama?
I can find all sorts of documents about QuickTime movies, but not that. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong spot. But I've sort of run out of time. If someone could provide a template to use, it would be most appreciated.I have to correct something. With type="video/quicktime", Safari 7.0.1 does play the QuickTime VR Panorama, so it's effective for both QuickTime videos and panoramas. But, what I wrote about Firefox and Chrome hasn't changed.
I did get the QuickTIme with a "?" symbol when I tried to play it with Safari 7.0.1, before submitting the question; but maybe that was a side effect of an earlier attempt. -
SteSize(w,h) doesn't change displayed sizes
After setSize(w,h) both getWidth() and setHeight() return the proper numbers but visibly on the screen, the dimensions do not change. Code, extracted from the live ap, is compilable.
Using the code below, and clicking "Rotate" button demonstrates this. System.out.println() shows that the sizes have changed internally, but visibly, they do not change. (also nothing shows up at all until the first time "Rotate" is clicked. That, the wrongly clipped border, and the messed up rotation clipping and text placement are separate issues.)
What's wrong here? FWIW: Nearly identical code applied to a JLabel with an image works perfectly. If it works correctly on a JLabel why does it mess up so badly on a JTextPane?
Java is a cool language, but as an old C++ programmer I also find it deeply mysterious (and mystifying) at times.
Thanks in advance for any clues or hints,

ITunes doesn't play the next song, it just stops after one track.
I have iTunes 11.0.1. When I play a song in my playlist, I expect the next song to start as the first one ends, but iTunes stops and doesn't play the next song. I'm missing some sort of setting but what?
It's not a smart playlist, just a playlist of favorite music I've built up over the years.
Mountain Lion.Have the tracks become unchecked? iTunes will skip unchecked tracks, so if they're all unchecked, iTunes will play one and then stop. If this is indeed the case, re-checkmark the tracks - Command-click will select or unselect them all - and you should then have continuous playback.
Hope this helps. -
.SWF doesn't play in website
Hi, I am using Flash 5. I need to save my flash .swf to play on a website. I went into Publish settings and selected Flash player 9 and Actionscript 3. I then exported the .swf and .html.
Animation Doesn’t Play
I then placed the .swf in Dreamweaver using Dreamweavers .swf plugin. When I previewed the page in my browser the sound played but the animation didn’t. What a I missing?
Animation Play Button
Also, can someone please tell me the best way to have my .swf not play until the user clicks’ play. Is there a setting to get a start arrow like a Quicktime mov.? or do I need to set it up myself?
ThanksDoes the html page that Flash publushed work okay? USe the codee from that file if it does, DW is not a reliable source for embedding Flash content.
You will need to build in your own controls to have something clickable that plays the file. -
Firefox doesn't play embedded swf
I've looked on many forums, including Firefox, with no real answer. Running Firefox 4. It just doesn't play embedded SWF. My Adobe Flashplayer is up to date, so is the plugin. The page displays properly. But the area that should be displaying a movie is just represented by a tiny square. No error message appears. The same page doesn't show the movie in IE9 either.
Now from looking at the page information, it just requires Flashplayer 6 and above for the SWF area. I do have Flashplayer 10. The plugin says Shockwave Flash player 10 is up to date. Many other pages with different types of embedded movies play properly.Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

A PDF document with information about activation for CS6 software
Here's a PDF document with information about activation for CS6 software. I found it very useful for understanding how the system worked for activation of perpetual licenses, both in cases where the computer is and isn't connected to the Internet.

Why DNG files are bigger when converting from TIFF?
When I shoot in RAW, my normal workflow is to convert all images to DNG and start editing in Lightroom. But as you know, there are some photos that need extra editing in pixel based software such as Photoshop. When I right-click a DNG in Lightroom an
