Reading SOAP msg in a Filter

Hi,
I need to read a SOAP msg in a Filter to extract some info, actaully I'm using this for reading the inputstream
int len = request.getContentLength();
byte [] b = new byte[len];
int il,off=0;
ServletInputStream sie = request.getInputStream();
boolean br = true;
do{
il = sie.readLine(b,off,len-off);
System.out.println("BYTES LEIDOS"+il);
off += il;
if((len-off) == 0){
br = false;
}while(br);
sie.close();
filterChain.doFilter(servletRequest,servletResponse);
But, when the doFilter() is reached it's trhow the Exception:
|Error de anlisis XML: com.sun.xml.rpc.sp.ParseException:1: com.sun.xml.rpc.sp/P-067
why is this exception thrown???
How can I parse the SOAP msg in the Inputstream???
Thanks, Juan

Hello,
but they were not getting any response back from XI and the sending system kept resending the message.. may be it was acting like a HTTP post.
The method that is used by the native SOAP Adapter is always HTTP Post. Not sure why you are not getting a response, have you checked the outbound firewall of the sending party or the inbound firewall of XI? To which SOAP URL are you sending to?
Hope this helps,
Mark

  • How to compress the soap msg?

    hi, all
    now we need to compress the soap msgs to improve the comm. speed, do u have some good ideas?

    now I have solved this problem.Use GZIPOutputStream & GZIPInputStream to wrap the original underlying stream.
    maybe it's not a good way.I am seeking more flexible and better method,because i found it hard to detect wheather a stream is comppressed or not.

  • Reading values from ServletRequst in Filter

    I have a filter that captures some basic info (request method and uri) from request. But whenever I read parameters contained in http request for "POST" method, I can't figure out how to repost parameters to request. I think that after I read parameters from request in filter, parameters aren't available in http servlet. I think that I have to repost parameters to request after i read it.
    does anybody know how to do it?

    here is the code.
         BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader( new InputStreamReader (request.getInputStream()));
         String line = null;
         while (null != (line = in.readLine()))
              System.out.println(line);
    After I use request.getInputStream(), I can't retrieve values from parameters. is there any way to handle this issue?
    I'd appreciated for any idea.

  • Error Reading Soap Response

    Hi,
    We are having a problem reading Soap Response:
    Scenario: From XI/PI we are calling a webservice with Synchronous
    message with WS-Security including Authentication, Signature, TimeStamp
    and Encryption using SOAP Receiver Adapter. We are able to send the
    request successfully and also the webServer is able to understand the
    request and sending the response back. The problem is the PI is unable
    to read the response and giving a below error:
    com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: expecting end tag:
    Transform, but found
    InclusiveNamespaces at state 1
    We tested successfully end-end with NON-Secured sites with out WS-
    Security.
    Please let me know if you have seen this error or any thoughts.
    Thanks,

  • Can I read a .msg file on the Mac?

    I received a file with a .msg ending, which I gather is Microsoft Outlook. When I clicked on it, my Parallels opened, but I am having no luck opening the file in Parallels, and everything freezes up and is very slow when I try to open Microsoft Outlook. My question is, is there a way I can download something so that I can read a .msg file in my Mac? I have more than one of these files, and it's important that I read them. Thanks for any help.

    Here is some stuff I found via Google:
    http://www.fileguru.com/apps/macmsg_fileviewer
    http://msgviewer.mac.findmysoft.com/
    There is more - so try a google search if these don't work out for you.

  • Read SOAP Header Information

    Hello All,
    We want to read SOAP header from incoming message. We followed blog from William to use the option "Do not use SOAP Envelop". However, we are not sure if we need to modify Sender Interface to include Envelope / Header in the message structure itself.
    How to Read SOAP Header Information
    If we modify the message structure , it changes the WSDL as well and generating request message something like below :
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:aif="urn://transport.nsw.gov.au/test/poc/aif">
       <soapenv:Header/>
       <soapenv:Body>
          <aif:Envelope>   <------- Added by Modifying the structure
             <Header>
                <FileType>?</FileType>
             </Header>
             <Body>
                <MessageHeader>
                   <!--Optional:-->
    How can we use  "Do not use SOAP Envelop" feature without modifying the WSDL structure?
    If we don't modify the message structure , it is failing to identify the receiver and also we would not be able to see the fields while doing graphical mapping.
    Thanks !!

    Hi,
    Did you check the namespaces in your receiver determination? In interface determination, this could be solved by creating another mapping. Which PI version are you using?

    Hi XI Guys,
                        My scenario is Proxy to Soap Synchronous.
    I want to read Soap Exception generated by target Application From XI Moni.
    Since this exception is a part of SOAP Body. How can we read this part of Exception from SOAP Body and map this to Target Response in Response Mapping.
    How we can achieve this in XI?
    An urgent help is needed on this.
    Thanks & REgards,

    while trying to download adobe reader Error msg: already have a more productive application?

    if you're using windows, click the start button>control panel>uninstall programs> and check for adobe acrobat and adobe reader.  don't uninstall anything if you find it.
    but if you find no acrobat/reader run the cleaner (Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs) and then try and install adobe reader.

  • 'Read Multicast Msg Fragment'

    I have two weblogic instances on the same Sun box. I run an XSL/XSLT transformation
    on one instance, it takes 15 seconds. I run the exact same XSL/XSLT transformation
    on the other instance, it takes 14 minutes. This is running the same job on both
    instances at the same time. Both instances have available RAM and available threads
    while this job is running.
    One difference I see when comparing the default execute queues for these two weblogic
    instances is that the one that seems to hang has a 'Read Multicast Msg Fragment'
    request listed in the execute queue and the other does not. This appears to be
    associated with this in a thread dump:
    "ExecuteThread: '10' for queue: 'default'" daemon prio=5 tid=0x303248 nid=0x18

    Are two instances in a cluster. The thread you point out is receiving
    multicast messages. heartbeats, jndi replication, and other internal
    communication happens on multicast.
    I doubt this is the problem.
    Duing the 14min duration please take 3-4 threaddumps at 30 second interval
    and attach it here. That should show whats happening in the server.

  • Http monitor in Netbeans 5.5 not displaying SOAP msg

    Hi
    Is it possible to view the SOAP message when developing webservices using the http monitor tool which is integrated in Netbeans 5.5.

  • Help converting or reading SOAP XML-attachment instead of payload

    Hi,
    I have to setup a webservice that excepts an xml-file as an attachment and read that xml-file as if it where the main payload of the message.
    The messages we receive holds all the data I need in the attachment instead of the data being in the SOAP-body itself. This isnt something I can change since this is a solution provided by amadeus e-travel and I have no chance of changing how they send data to us.
    I have searched and searched the forums but havent been able to find a solution(that I understand) to how I can access the xml-file either in a mapping-routine or by simply swapping the payload with the attachment all together.
    As of now I have a webservice that is functional and receives the call from the source(amadeus e-travel) without a problem. I can also see the attachment in SXMB_MONI where it looks like a perfect xml-structure. But I have no idea on how to access the attachment so that I can use the data inside it in an abap-proxy in our ECC-system.
    As far as I have read on the forums I cannot use the payloadswapbean in the SOAP senderadapter so that option is out. I have seen mention of a java-class for reading attachements in mapping-routines but sadly I'm not much of a Java-programmer and dont have access to one either at the moment. I would need a detailed explanation in order for a java-program to be a viable solution for me.
    Is there some trick I have missed here or blog that shows how to read xml-attachments in a soap-message?
    Is there any standard Java-code I can use to read the whole xml-structure from the attachment in a mapping-routine?
    Any help would be very much appreciated!
    Thanks in advance ,
    Halvor

    Option-1:
    This might be a crude way, but you can acheive by a 2 step process...
    Step1 (Scenario-1) - Receive XML-Msg + Attachment using SOAP Sender adapter. As we have payloadwaapbean module limitation in sender adapter. Let it be a passthru to receiver SOAP adapter. (Don't do any processing in integration engine, like msg mapping or thything). In Rx SOAP adapter,use payloadswapbean to swap XML msg with Payload and resent it to 2nd integration scenario...
    Step2(Scenario-2) - As you have the Attachment as main-payload, you can continue ur normal msg processing on it.
    Option2:
    SOAP messages can also be processed using AXIS-SOAP Adapter.. you can add XI module in it Check it if it might help you...

  • Would like to know how to read SOAP Messages from SOAP Client

    Hello,
    I am new to Webservices. Here is what I want to do.
    I need to develop a Web Service provider application.
    Here are the tools I am using to develop this application.
    a) WSAD 5.1.2
    b) Axis 1.0 built within WebSphere.
    I do have a WSDL file and I generated the code by using WSAD ==>WebService ==> Generate Java bean skeleton option. I want to know, how I can read the SOAP request message from the generated code and to add new SOAP header element.
    Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Depending on the version of WebSphere you are using, there should be a menu option to create a dynamic web project. This will set up the basic structure of the application for you. Also, right-click on the newly created web application and there should be a context menu something like Web Services -> Deploy Web Service. This will do some more under-the-covers work for you.
    The webservices.xml deployment descriptor is only created when you generate your Java interfaces and helper classes. For example, if you are starting with a WSDL, you would right-click on the document, select Web Services -> Generate Java Bean Skeleton, and then follow the couple of dialog boxes afterwards. The webservices.xml document will then be created under the WEB-INF directory.
    Id be wary of introducing any external web service software into a WebSphere environment. On my last project we ran into a few tricky SOAP API conflicts so we decided to stick with pure IBM implementations wherever possible. That said, this is some sample code that I've recycled from the Monson-Haefel book I've mentioned before:
    package sandbox;
    import javax.xml.namespace.QName;
    import javax.xml.rpc.handler.MessageContext;
    import javax.xml.rpc.handler.soap.SOAPMessageContext;
    import javax.xml.soap.*;
    public class MessageHandlerID extends javax.xml.rpc.handler.GenericHandler{
      QName [] headerNames = null;
      public QName [] getHeaders(){
        if(headerNames == null){
          QName myHeader = new QName("http://speck.net.au/message-id", "message-id");
          headerNames = new QName[] { myHeader };
        return headerNames;
      public boolean handleRequest(MessageContext context){
        String messageID = new java.rmi.dgc.VMID().toString();
        try{
          SOAPMessageContext soapCntxt = (SOAPMessageContext)context;
          SOAPMessage message = soapCntxt.getMessage();
          SOAPHeader header = message.getSOAPPart().getEnvelope().getHeader();
          Name blockName = SOAPFactory.newInstance().createName("message-id","mi","http://speck.net.au/message-id");
          SOAPHeaderElement headerBlock = header.addHeaderElement(blockName);
          headerBlock.setActor("http://speck.net.au/message-id/logger");
          headerBlock.addTextNode( messageID );
          return true;
        } catch(javax.xml.soap.SOAPException se){
              throw new javax.xml.rpc.JAXRPCException(se);
    }It doesn't do much but might give you some ideas.
    You may have already come across this, but I found the following RedBook invaluable:
    Wahli, U., Garcia, G. O., Cocasse, S. and Muetschard, M. (2004). WebSphere Version 5.1 Application Developer 5.1.1 Web Services Handbook. IBM.

  • Installing Adobe Reader-Error msgs

    I am trying to update my adobe reader on my computer.  I keep getting an error message stating that the indexing service filter daemon is in use. I have closed everything and it says it gets to 96% and gives the same error message. What should I do now? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

    You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer:
    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
    Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from
    http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
    After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.
