Receiving error during partner link invoke
Hi Guys,
I am trying to call a partner link using Bpel 10.1.3.3 in a weblogic app server and I am receiving the following error on bpel console:
<remoteFault xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension"><part name="summary"><summary>exception on JaxRpc invoke: unexpected null</summary>
Any clue what can be happening ?
Tks in advance

Tks for ur reply.
Is a syncronous process and there is no patch applied in this case.
We are trying to perform a simple business scenario, is a invoke to a java webservices, no adapter service.

Hi,

Suddenly receiving errors during Inventory on 2950's.
Hello,
I am having an issue that started very recently. We are seeing errors in the inventory starting this afternoon.
Error received is from failed job is:
RICS0001:Internal Error, unable to process the collected data from the device.
The Inventory Collector log shows repeated entries of:
InventoryCollector.java:InchargeConfigReader initialized
InventoryCollector.java:productInfo from InchargeConfigReader:DATA
Reading file :C:/PROGRA~1/CSCOpx\objects\smarts\conf\clientConnect.conf
DFMInitializer:Entered Initalizing...now
This time CREATING A NEW CALLBACK OBSERVER
I have verified the credentials, and see no errors on the switch.
The IC_Server.log shows this error:
[ Mon Mar 22 16:07:24 EDT 2010 ],ERROR,[Thread-19],com.cisco.nm.rmeng.inventory.ics.core.CollectionController,935, Exception occured in process method while processing: 10.73.17.127 SQL Anywhere Error -638: Right truncation of string data
ICSException :: SQL Anywhere Error -638: Right truncation of string data

at com.cisco.nm.rmeng.inventory.ics.core.CollectionController.run(CollectionController.java:923)
Does anyone have any experience with this type of error? This is a known bug, CSCsz85826. It is fixed in 12.1(22)EA14. To workaround it, go to RME > Admin > Inventory > Inventory Change Filter, and check the boxes next to Image:Description and Image:System Description. Then inventory collection should work.

how do i retry the partner link invoking webservice if it fails
you could add the property on the invoke of the partnerlink

Hi experts,
When i am creating return order the partners not copied from the billing document also iam unable to create delivery document it gives error saying Error during partn : partner role SH. order cannot be delivered.can any one throw some light on this.
Thanks in advance
SanjayThe following could be reasons for this error:
- If this is a common error for many return documents, then it could be a customizing issue:
1. Incorrect config of Partner Determination procedure for the Returns Order where partner function SH has not been defined (as Sadhu has mentioned above)
2. Incorrect copying routine from Billing to Return Order in tx VTAF (again as Sadhu has mentioned)
- If this is only a one time error occurring only for this Invoice, then problem could be with Master Data etc:
1. Ship-to party has deletion flag
2. Returns order has a different Sales Area as compared to the Invoice -

When I write wsdl location in partner link wizard I have this error:

My input variable in bpel console audit has the right values, but they aren't passed to the db adapter.
I write my .xml and .wsdl of db adapter whithout toplink software and I think to have commit some error, but I don't found where...

Getting error: (301)Moved Permanently when invoking partner link
Hello,
I've set up and tested a web service that will execute a command on a host. I then built a BPEL process that invokes this web service as a Partner Link. However, I always received the following error when running the BPEL process:
Invoke_Host (faulted)
[2005/11/04 14:17:57] "{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}remoteFault" has been thrown. less

Has anybody seen this error message? Any suggestions for finding out what's going on here?
ThanksThis is a standard HTTP error code, I am not sure what it means exactly, but maybe a network specialist can make sense of it.
http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html
10.3.2 301 Moved Permanently
The requested resource has been assigned a new permanent URI and any future references to this resource SHOULD use one of the returned URIs. Clients with link editing capabilities ought to automatically re-link references to the Request-URI to one or more of the new references returned by the server, where possible. This response is cacheable unless indicated otherwise.
The new permanent URI SHOULD be given by the Location field in the response. Unless the request method was HEAD, the entity of the response SHOULD contain a short hypertext note with a hyperlink to the new URI(s).
If the 301 status code is received in response to a request other than GET or HEAD, the user agent MUST NOT automatically redirect the request unless it can be confirmed by the user, since this might change the conditions under which the request was issued.
Note: When automatically redirecting a POST request after
receiving a 301 status code, some existing HTTP/1.0 user agents
will erroneously change it into a GET request. -
Getting compilation error while invoking an existing partner link.
Hi,
I am very new to BPEL.This may be a very basic issue..
Found few links on the forum related to this..but didn't understand how people solved their problems..
Created a sample project to add two numbers and return the result.[Ex : 2+ 3 = 5]
Trying to invoke that service by adding it as a partner link in other project.
Getting compile time error immediately after adding it..
Error:
[Error ORABPEL-10902]: compilation failed
[Description]: in "bpel.xml", XML parsing failed because "undefined part element.
In WSDL at "http://PC-XYZ-IN:8888/orabpel/default/BPELProcess/BPELProcess?wsdl", message part element "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/BPELProcess}BPELProcessProcessResponse" is not defined in any of the schemas.
Please make sure the spelling of the element QName is correct and the WSDL import is complete.
[Potential fix]: n/a.
(ii) how can i pass two variables to calling service using invoke option.
Since in invoke option i could see only one input variable is allowed.
Thanks in advance for the help.the wsdl is refered correctly,I used the wizard for this..
http://PC-MSIDDHAR-IN:8888/orabpel/default/BPELProcess/BPELProcess?wsdl
For second part of the question.
Caller ----> Invoke Code ---> Partner Link for Service
Partner Link for Service expects 2 variables...
Caller i have added 2 variables as u suggested already ...
The question is how can i assign caller variables to partner link variables..[If they are more than 1)

Hi Experts,
We are facing a issue while calling a Automated activity from BPM process, the process gets suspended and the BPM logs says "Process XYZ suspended, A technical error during invocation: Could not invoke service reference name fdhueoegghejietyhsjk6886 Component name ABC " We have already checked the mapped service reference and provider system. Gone through the below link, but no help.
http://http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechTSG/Sending+a+message+from+SAP+NetWeaver+BPM+process+to+PI+fails+via+automated+activity?original_fqdn=wiki.sdn.sap.com
Any pointers or suggestions to fix up this issue will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Mohit JajuThe details/ID in NWDS Service Reference must exactly match the SOA configuration. Sometimes it's possible you have changed the reference or the group itself and something changed to become mismatched.
It's possible they don't match - but the SG itself will show green in NWA since the service exists and responds on the target system. Does the ID listed in the error match what is shown in the NWDS project?

Re: Link error during fcompile
Hi Jeanne:
I have already gone trough the procedure you have described but the
result is same.
When I invoke link command on all the *.obj files with some libraries
from forte and
MSVC/Lib I get the same Error. The command I am invoking is
C:\> link *.obj *.lib
Assuming that I am in the dir where all .obj files are and I have copied
all required .lib files in this dir. Other thing that I have also tried
this with different link flags and/or with exact flags from Forte log
file.
Thanks for your respons.
Any othe suggestions please?

Shahzad,
Have you tried manually invoking the link command itself from the
command
line? I was able to do this successfully when having problems with
the
Borland compiler under 16-bit windows. It is not a long-term
solution,
because you obviously want fcompile to handle the entire task, but it
might
help you determine if it is a problem with the fcompile or the linker
itself.
I executed the fcompile from a DOS window in the ...codegen\myapp
directory. When the error occurred, I found the log file that is
created
from the fcompile, and determined the last command that was executed.
I
can't tell you the exact specifics here, because I have not had
problems
with fcompile using the MSVC compiler. But I am assuming that Forte
is
consistent about writing the compiler output to a log file. I could
then
copy the command line from the log file to the command line in the dos
window and execute it manually.
You have to be careful copying the command line, because there are a
lot of
flags, and they ARE case-sensitive. If you get the same error when
invoking the command manually, then you can assume that the problem is
with
the compiler itself, or as it was in my case, with the compiler
setup. If
the command is successful when you execute it manually, then you can
pursue
it as a problem with the fcompile.
One other thought -- you might make sure that you have plenty of extra
disk
space. Compilers like to write temporary files during the compile
process.
On a very large compile, you might need a lot of working space for
these
temporary files. I believe the MSVC compiler writes these files to
the
directory indicated by the environment variable TMP (not TEMP).
Hope this helps,

============================================================The way to handle this is to break down the fcompile. Here is the
process:
1. fcompile -nocompile -fm "(x:40000)"
this will produce the CPP and H files
2. fcompile -nogen -fm "(x:40000)"
this will link the files and produce the exe.
If there is an error then you will know exactly where its happening.
Hope this helps.

I have tried that I have even tried
fcompile -fm '(x:400000)'
It seems like its the Microsoft Compiler and/or Linker problem. There
have to be some flags for compiler or linker I can
set with fcomile so it allocate more memory for the MSVC linker.
Any more clues or help ????

fcompile -fm '(x:250000)'

250k.
the default is 64k.
Get it a try.

Seems that Oracle JDeveloper WSDL designer has contribution to this issue since when trying to add a partner link from
http://www.4shared.com/photo/7D4D4Elx/wsdl_designer.html?
it creates the wsdl with the following configuration.
http://www.4shared.com/photo/zb907pXN/wsdl_designer_2.html?
Maybe will be fixed in next versions of JDeveloper. Until then, use this work suggested around.
