Recently i updated my ipod touch 4g to ios 6.1.3 and now i'm having this problem on location service.

when i turn my location service on, the location service doesn't show up on status bar. help pls!!! i cant look around on my wechat because of this . tnx.

Try:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I just updated my iPod touch 4gen. To the latest software and now I can't sync my apps

I just updated my iPod touch 4gen. And I was able to sync my music but not my apps. When the apps I chose ate checked, it shows me how much space I have left. As soon as I click the apply button it starts to determine apps
To sync. The it finishes and none of the apps get put on and the green bar in the capacity gone away.

I have the same but not the same problem. When I play a sound or a video on a website (other than youtube)on safari, a weird nois is comeing from the speakers, the sound has pops/clicks but if I play the same video/sound on mozilla it works fine.. The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not inlcuded synced media like apps and music. If that media is not in the iTunes library then it is gone after the update/restore.

You need to restore from backup. The backup contains app data like game progress. Make sure that autosyncing is turned off otherwise whe yu connect iTunes will make a back that does not contain the data. To to that go to iTunes>Preferneces>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPods....syncing.
Yu can alsolook at the date/time of the backup on that screen and see if it might contain the data.

When it was dead i put it on a charger. once it got charged up it started turning on with the apple symbol. then it turned white again and then restarted without me touching anything. When it restarted it turned the blue again. i took it off the charger immediantly because i didnt want it getting as hot as it was before. ive tried every way i know how to fix it but not putting it in the computer because i dont want it to ruin the computer. Please help because i really dont want to get a new ipod. Ive read a lot about how to fix it here on apple but there all the same answer and it still doesnt work. Please respond ASAP! thank you! i could really use your help right now!

First see if placing the iPod in Recovery Mode will allow a restore.
Next try DFU mode and restore.

I try to update my ipod touch 4th gen. to the new iOS 4.3 software and the thing loads and after the 7-8 minutes or so, when it says "processing file" a pop up says that the network connection has timed out, and to check my network settings. I've tried several different times and get the same result. My wi-fi is working with all three bars and my computer is also connected to the internet. I've tried restoring it but it says I have to get the new software and then I get the same result( this time ipod not restored).... What's going on with my ipod? Anyone help?

Have you tried to see if you have the newest version of iTunes? Also, it may help if you try the following steps.
Download iOS from a third-party website (i reccomend http://whited00r.com/) (as this is a full operating system, it is a big download and may take time on a slow internet connection)
Unzip the file.
After unzipping, you should now have a .ipsw file.
Open iTunes
Connect your device and make sure you take a back-up of it first (if you don't all your data will be erased)
Now, while pressing the Restore button, hold down the Alt key (for Mac) or the Shift key (for Windows).
You should now have a window open asking you to choose a file.
Choose the file you just downloaded from whited00r.com
Press OK
It should start replacing your current OS to the new one.
When this finishes, your device will restart
Click restore from (whatever your old device was called)
It will put back all your apps and information

- Are you sure you updated the iPod? If you go to Settings>General>About>Version what is listed?
- If you have a 2G with iOS 5 then you would have had to jailbreak the iPOd and that can cause problems
