Its because of lower case letters.
Either edit in PSA to caps and load or if its for too many records write a routine (field level) in transformation to convert to uppercase.
You can use the statement
Translate <field> to UPPERCASE

I am surprised why you have not faced this problem while loading to ODS. I guess your ODS is not ON for BEx Reporting. Anyways, You need to write a transfer routine for 0CUSTOMER.
Just replace ZZZ with you transfer structure field.

Diagnosis
Only the following standard characters are valid in characteristic values by default:
!"%&''()*+,-./:;<=>?_0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.
Furthermore, characteristic values that only consist of the character # or that begin with ! are not valid.
You are trying to load the invalid characteristic value 1. (hexidecimal representation 004B004900520042005900A0).
Procedure for System Administration
Try to change the invalid characters to valid characters.
If you want values that contain invalid characters to be admitted into the system, make the appropriate setting in BW Customizing. Refer to the documentation describing the requirements for special characters and the possible consequences.

Hi Vijay,
after KIRBY is a characteristic value which cannot be interpreted by BW properply / is not in the valid char list.
KRIBY is hex value 004B0049005200420059
the invalid char is hex value 00A0 -> online hex converter didn't found a ASCI match.
To solve the problem you will need to fix the record in the source. Or you go to PSA -> delete all in teh field and re-enter KRIBY.

One of our Master data attribute load is failing with the following error message.
Value '05ｱｻﾋ ' for characteristic Z_PPL contains invalid characters
As you see there are some Japanese characters when it is trying to load into Char string?
Can we load such characteristics?
Where can we check which all Languages are installed in the system?
If we want to maintain these to the Special characteristics in RSKC transaction?
Can we enter these characteristics using English keyboard?

Some time in the run time environ ment field values are moved to junk chars .
In this case even if u r traying to place the same char in RSKC also it wont
accept..
So in this can just edit that particular error record like in the ordinary process in
the PSA.other wise if its a master data u need to select the option error handling
in the info pak and rerun the info pak..

Plant has multiple value.

BO XI 3.1 DeskI report Calculation mismatch in record values

Hi ,
I have an Calculation issue in one report after migrated from BO 5.1.6 to BO XI 3.1.
After refreshing two reports parallelly, BO XI 3.1 report 1st 3 records of two columns are not at all there in BO 5.1.6 report.
in XI 3.1 i am getting 3 more records compare 5.1.6.
And out of that one column recod values is not matching with 5.1.6, but these record values Sum of total is matching.
(Ex: Here is the report output im getting with mismatches

I have checked for the filters,hided columns, formulas. Both are looking same.

SAP-R/3- In which table, numeric values stored in equipment characteristis are captured.
In AUSP table Char values in equipment characteristics are captured against object number.But this table does not cappture numeric characteristics.
Are these numeric values captured in any function module?

Open Script how to Retrive Databank record values

Hi,
I am trying get a value from Open script and then assign it to a variable for validation.
Can anyone let me know if either of the below possible using Open script
1) Getting Total column count in a Databank file.
2) Getting a field value and assigning it to a variable.
I know that getDatabank("") has some options but it does not include the above mentioned also this has {{DatabankName.FieldName, Recorded Value}} for setting a value while running. Apart from these options are there any other keywords using which we can retrive a databank field values and assign it to variables.
Also there are utilities through which we can access a csv file. But how to assign the value to a Variable.
Example:
Table table = utilities.loadCSV("Directory with File name");
          Row row = table.getRow(0);
          getLogger().info(row.get(Field Name));
I am looking to get the value and assign it to a variable example Variable1 = row.get(Field Name).

I am using a query in a report that in addition to other columns, has a column of month labels like:
There are no unique identifiers or sequence fields that can be used. There is only 4 columns: the label and 3 percent columns.
Jan07Feb07Mar07Apr07etc.
I would like to show the range of months I am using in a label on the report showing the last and first records value. like: "Jan07 to Jun07".
I can not see how to use the functions maximun or minimum since it sorts the months alphabetically.
I would like to use a formula to just grab the first and last record. I can't seem to find any information on this anywhere.

Hmm... I suspect what you actually want is the minimum and maximum dates in the report, rather than the first and last records (even if they do happen to come out in date order). So you need to convert the text dates to real ones, and then pick the min/max values.
If so, try these:
Formula "ConvertToDate" (for details section) which converts your text field into a real date - suppress it once placed!:
//Since you have 2-digit years, this conversion assumes that all your dates are >=year 2000

Formula "Show Date Range" (for anywhere on the report) to show the min/max values of the dates;

If, however, you really just want the first and last records, and you want it at the top of your report as a title (eg: in the Report Header), then I can't see how it can be done without using a subreport that looks at the same dataset, but only displays the first and last records (using the formulas below).
Stick this in the details section, and call it "HoldRecords" and suppress it:

NOTE: if you have the report ordered by anything, this'll throw the record numbering, and therefore the first and last records, therefore... urgh.

Cannot map control record values from payload w/XSLT after SP13 upgrade

Since we upgraded to SP13, the mapping of control record values form the XML payload to the IDOC control record (File->XI->IDOC scenario) no longer works if the mapping is done via XSLT. It works if the XI graphical mapper is used. The XSLT used is the same pre and post upgrade, but worked fine previously.
[ Apply Control Record Values from Payload is checked in the IDOC adapter comm channel. ]
Has anyone else experienced this? Am looking for any inspiration

Are you sure the xslt file is still there?
Maybe some non-compliance was corrected in later SP and your XSLT was using that non-compliance.
If you post the XSLT we could try to point out any possible errors.

Current Condition Record value of JVCS not picking while GR posting

Dear All,
Tax Procedure being used is TAXINN
Scheduling Agreements are created before 01.06.2008.
Condition Record with validity periods for JVCS (A/P CST NonDed-VAT) is as follows,
01.04.2007 TO 31.05.2008 = 3%
01.06.2008 TO 31.12.9999 = 2%
If Goods Receipt is created with Posting Date after 01.06.2008, it is considering the old value i.e. 3%, whereas it should consider current valid value i.e. 2%.
After posting GR, Inventory and Purchase G/L Accounts are getting posted with 3% value.
Difference of 1% getting reverted back in those G/L Accounts after posting Invoice for the GR document.
Can you guide me to let system consider Condition Record value 2% as per GR posting date and Validity Period of Condition Record.
NOTE: For PO/SA created on/after 01.06.2008, it is considering current value i.e.2%.

1: Check PR00 in VK13 , if there are any scales maintained.
Else
2: Check PR00 in VK13, and go to Environment changes and check if the price is changed recently or any changes are made which you are not aware of. Also please check the condition type definition of PR00 using T Code V/06 and check how the pricing date is being mainatined.
