Recruitment Question

Hi Friends.....
In my project, we are going to implement som functionality of recruitment for the client.
1. creating applicant numbers by doing initial data entry action
2. Issuance and printing of appointment letters from SAP
3. Linking the vacancy created in OM to the applicant in recruitment.
4. Transferring the applicant data to Personnel administration.
Also, at the time of initial data entry action, we want to capture the proposed joining date which can be edited later at the time of "Hire Applicant" action in PA40.
Also, can anyone please give me the step - by step configuration that needs to be done for the above process to materialize.
Please help...Its really urgent...
Assure you that full reward points will be given for good answers.
Thanks
Reema

Ok Sushil,
In that case, First I will check the table T77S0 and check PPVAC value as 1 for the vacancy created in OM to reflect in Recruitment.
2. Then according to the client requirement i will define the number range for the applicant in PB04 and then in NUMAP feature.
3. Also simultaneoulsy I will define applicant groups and ranges in the system.
(Here, can I delete the existing applicant groups and ranges and define new ones in the following IMG path :
SPRO - Personnel Management - Recruitment - Applicant administration - Applicant structure - Create applicant groups and create applicant ranges.? )
4. After That I will come to initial data entry action. Now first of all , here I want to know that can i change the infogroup for initial data entry action by following this IMG path:
SPRO - PM - Recruitment- Applicant Selection - Applicant actions - change infogroup and select the action as 47 (Initial data entry).
Also, at the time of initial data entry, if I want to store the proposed joining date, as u mentioned i have to get it done through an ABAP development.
But here wat i want to know is that will that proposed joining date reflect in PA40 in editable mode whicle running that action, after applicant data being transferred from Recruitment to PA).
Please answer my queries.

  • E-Recruiting question status

    Hello,
I'm having problems getting my questions to change status in e-recruiting. I am using a separate frontend/backend system with a standalone scenario. I followed
    http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/Questionnaire+cannot+be+saved+in+%27released%27+status
I activated BAdi HRHAP00_FOLLOW_UP_SE and added it in OOHAP_BASIC and then in PHAP_CATALOG I selected the enhancement. I then re-implemented SAP Note 1301016 but I still have the same problem. In SLG1 I keep getting the same error as before. When I save in status released it says "Data was saved successfully" but the question remains in status "Draft."  In the webdynpro for questionnaires it creates a 2 new templates titled "New Template for Questionnaires" in status draft (both for internal and external use) with the question assigned to it.
In SLG1 I have the following errors:
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_QA_QUESTION==========CM00M line 48
    Column FPER does not exist
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_QA_ELEMENT===========CM00E line 78
Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

Fixed the problem - in OOHAP_BASIC I added columns MAND and FPER manually and then in PHAP_CATALOG in Evaluable Information in tab columns I selected the 2 columns. No more errors, and the questions and questionnaires can be released.

  • E-recruiting question

    As a recruiter
Application Management - Applications - Create activities ...
    where you can modify?
what is the difference between that and ...
Requisitions - Candidate Selection - Assignments - Activities
I can see where i can change Application Management, but not Requisitions
    thanks in advance, sony

    hi sony,
i am not fully sure if I get all the questions included in your post right.
First the difference between working with applications -> create activities and candidate selection -> ... -> activities is the object focus of the e-rec function. While both are allowing the recruiter to create activities the first is working on applications while the second mainly works on candidacies. This is on the first look not a very big issue but gets important when you are running scenarios with multiple candidacies on one application.
In the applications link you will find only applications you are in the recruiting team (the recruiting team of the requisition is copied on the application when it is created). In candidacy selection you see all candidacies for a requisition. This can lead to confusion for the recruiter. If you enlarge the recruiting team of a requisition and do not adapt also the teams of applications the new member will see old applications in candidate selection but not under applications. In 300 there was no option to adapt the application team which made quite big trouble and although support team groups (otype NG) can bypass this issue completely the forgotten checkbox to adapt the application support team results in false error reports from users.
In addition to the displayed objects also the available activities differ. You won't see this in standard delivery as sap puts all activities on application and candidacy, but the first function only allows to create activities for the application while candidate selection allows to maintain activities for application and candidacy. The pattern is if you create an activity in candidate selection which is allowed on candidacy it will be put on candidacy (even if application is allowed, too). If the activity is only allowed on application it will be put on it. If you are maintaining a candidacy not having an application as it is an assignment from pool the system will raise an error message. (sap wanted to restrict candidate selection on candidacy activities only, hiding the activities only allowed on applications but some very angry customer calls made them take the change back).

  • E-Recruiting - Synchronization object u2018BPu2019 does not exist in customizing

    e-Recruiting Question: Version 6 u2013 patch 10
The following error is presented when new eRec users are created or new external users are created.
Synchronization object u2018BPu2019 does not exist in customizing
I have concern that  customizing table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU is not properly maintained as it initially dumped on creation, but after an update to the table the dump is resolved but I still receive the error.
Any hints or example of the configuration in this table for a working e-Recruiting system?

    Update:
After a lot of digging, we discovered that the JDO mapping is creating a lower bound with a one that should be a zero on the relationship... A forum suggested that adding cascade-delete will force the zero with no foreign key constraints...

  • Question to recruitment/Appl. master data u2013 PB40.

    Hi, I have a question to recruitment/Appl. master data u2013 PB40.
    Maybe someone can help?
I have created an own candidate action similar to the SAP action u201CInitial entry of basic data.u201D
The Customizing of the new action is the same like that of the SAP action.
The problem is that the masks are different:
The original SAP action "Initial entry of basic data" starts with:
    Transaction: PB40
    Program (screen): SAPMPAP4
    Screen number: 100
    Program (GUI): SAPMPAP4
    GUI status: FAS1
The action I created starts with:
    Transaction: PB40
    Program (screen): MP400000
    Screen number: 2000
    Program (GUI): MP400000
    GUI Status: INS
Why do the program, the screen number and the GUI status differ and how to change it?
    Thanks in advance!
    Yours sincerely,
    Thomas

  • E-Recruiting important questions

I'm implementing the E-Recruiting and I have two important questions for this Project:
1 - The business want to capture mobility (willingness to relocate / travel) at the time of position application. Is there a standard field for store this information?
2 - Recruitment would like to be informed about a critical process, in others words, the requisition doesnu2019t compete with other priorities. How can I handle this situation?
    Thanks in advance!!!
    Sivani

    Hi Sivani,
Questionnaire answers are stored in IT5141.  They are visible to the Recruiters when viewing the Candidates and can be used in rankings.  You can also decide for which positions this questionnaire would be required and which not.
Do not see a standard field to create a priority when creating a Requisition.  We added many fields, such as "eligibility for employee referral", so it can be added.  However, letting managers set the priorities could be a problem with each manager thinking his/her opening is most important.

  • E-recruitment: Assignment of Questions Questionnaires

Error: In the process of assining the questions to questionnaires, Use of existing Questions search produces the complete list of question on First hit, from next time onwards the search does not show the list of questions, instead only the number of questions in each category is displayed.
Version - E-rec 604 support pack 5. Webdynpro Interface, seperate front end and back end - candidate Scenerios #3 as per Note 1017866.
Request e-rec Pro's to post the solution, if they have faced this issue in there e-rec implementation exp.
    Thanks & Regards,
    David.

    Hi,
I have had this issue. This was a problem in the ALV component, therefore it was a basis issue.
I could not find the note for that, but I will take a look next week.
In general you should implement e-recruiting SP7 and therefore Basis SP7 as well. This will solve man issues, you will face during the implementation, if you have just SP5.
    Best regards

  • E-Recruitment Newbie Questions

    Hi Experts,
Good day! I am just new to e-recruitment and I have a few questions with regards to it and I hope to get a clear view of what e-recruitment is. Here are my questions:
    1. What are the SAP Infrastructure Requirements with regards to e-recruitment?
    2. What are the SAP HR Prerequisites to it?
    3. How do we integrate it with the other SAP HR modules?
    4. What are the SAP Data Elements for e-recruitment?
    5. What are the SAP configuration requirements in able to start e-recruitment?
    6. Lastly, where can I find white papers for e-recruitment?
I'm sorry for these questions as I am really new to this. Thanks so much in advance and have a nice day!

  • Question on E-recruiting Requisition Forms

    Hi all,
I have a question on the e-recruiting requisiton management portion. From what i read in the documentation, the requisiton pages can be displayed in either BSP or in PDF format (interactive forms).
Can anyone please point me to the necessary steps to configure on the displaying of requisition pages?
I have configured in table T77RCF_UI_PARAM and set the following -
    hrrcf_req_dovr DISPLAY_PDF " "
By right, the requisition page shd be displayed as HTML but currently it is still in PDF.
Anyone know what is the correct steps or configurations?
    Many thanks to all!

    Hello Corrine,
In the table T77RCF_UI_PARAM the entry "hrrcf_req_dovr  DISPLAY_PDF X" is for
    following standard forms:
    HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_REQUISITION Requisition
    HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_POSTING Job Posting
    HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_POST_INST Posting Instance
If you are using custom form then consider following:
In table T77RCF_UI_PARAM, create a new entry for the relevant combination of BSP application and parameter type and assign the name of your customer-specific form as the parameter. Application name are case senstive, maintain the application name with correct case.In order to find out whether uppercase or lowercase, go to package PAOC_RCF_UI in transaction SE80. In the list of BSP applications, check whether the ones used in T77RCF_UI_PARAM were named in upper or lower case.
I hope above information will helps.

  • E-Recruiting Portal compatability question

    Hi,
We're using e-Rec and Portal and hit a problem.  E-Rec creates a reference user for all the users in the system ie USER1 (John Smith) (has EE000USER1 (John Smith) created in as e-Rec reference user for internal candidacy).
The problem for a portal search screen (eg  manage UWL substitutions) when you search for John Smith two are returned and aren't distinguishable...
Any e-Rec / Portal gurus know how to work round this?
    TIA,
    J

    hello jambo,
if you run a properly configured e-recruiting system the system does not create new users for internal candidates. Usernames are read from IT0105 Subtype 0001 this is working for standalone e-recruiting systems which get the internal candidate information via ALE integration and this is also valid for integrated systems using the same server/client for e-recruiting and hr master data.
The system should only assign a new user if the employee is inactive.
Of course in the standard szenarios sap is assuming that you properly maintain the IT0105 and for integrated systems it will be difficult to bypass that. For e-recruiting standalone systems you can refer to an external system / user repository if you need - you have to do some customer development but there are several companies running such a szenario successfully.
    Best Rgds.

  • EREC: What is new in SAP E-Recruitment 6.0 SP5, SP7 and SP8?

    Hi
Does anyone know what are the features available or improved in SAP E-Recruitment 6.0 for Support Package 5,7 & 8?

    Hi Ridzuan,
as the named support packages are already years old is your question actually about e-recruiting 600 or do you mean the support packages for an enhancement package (like EhP 3 or EhP 4) for the e-recruiting application.

  • Function Modules and non-PI services to create a front-end to E-Recruiting

I have looked quite a bit throughout the forums and via Google and am having a hard time answering this question.  I'm positive I'm not the first to ask this.  Anyway, our business users are not too keen on the look and feel of the WebDynpros or BSP's that are available via the E-Recruiting system.  They would like to really change the look and feel of the application.  Is there any document discussing how to change the look and feel of the External Facing job board and application process?  I have not been able to find a cookbook or anything related to this. I could dig through a bunch of code and work my way back, but their has to be a better way.
I'm looking for either a how-to guide that discusses to what extent the look and feel of the screen can change and/or what are the services/function modules that are being used for the external candidate (create candidate, list jobs, show job details, apply for jobs, etc.). Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

am not a techie so cannot answer your question in earnst but I know exactly how youfel about e-rec looka nd feel so adding my two pence:
    1. when discussing e-rec it is imp to mentione the version below version 6 it was bsp 6 onwardsit is webdynpro.
    2. before we discuss code changes, what is the extent of 'look and feel' change your clientwants? can that be addresed via the portal-theme by way of developing a flashy new css based theme? thatmakes life easy for everybody involved and also makes the entire nw portal flasy not just the outward facing job portal...  at a comparitively low cost...
    3. If the answer to abovepoint is a 'no' I guess the only option is to go-a-code-dredging,..
    good luck.

  • Pulling Signature into an XML Publisher report for Recruitment letters

    Hi All,
I'm trying to create signed recruitment letters for the Talent Acquisition module and am not quite sure how to handle this technically.. I assume some customizations are in order...
I guess some of the questions I have are:
    1) Is there OOTB functionality to handle Signatures in PS?
    2) Do i store the image in the database or on an accessible network/local drive location?
    3) Can XML Publisher handle this type of request?
    4) Is there any documentation out there to explain this in more detail?
    5) Any advice on how to proceed?
I also have a company logo they want pulled into the XML Publisher Report.. i assume it would be a simliar effect.
Anyway, I was hoping someone out there may have some advice on how to proceed.
    Regards,
    Greg

Below excerpt from Oracle XML Publisher Core Components Guide
    Images
XML Publisher supports several methods for including images in your published document:
    Direct Insertion*
Insert the jpg, gif, bmp, or png image directly in your template.
    URL Reference*
    1. Insert a dummy image in your template.
    2. In Microsoft Word's Format Picture dialog box select the Web tab. Enter the
following syntax in the Alternative text region to reference the image URL:
    url:{'http://image location'}
    For example, enter:
    url:{'http://www.oracle.com/images/ora_log.gif'}
You can also build a URL based on multiple elements at runtime. Just use the
concat function to build the URL string. For example:
    url:{concat(SERVER,'/',IMAGE_DIR,'/',IMAGE_FILE)}
