Red:WSDL execution in Infopath

Hi,
   I have Soap to RFC scenario.
I created 2 data types  for request and reponse.
created 2 message types
Created one message interface outbound synchronous.
created 2 maapings for request and response
created one message interaface.
In Integration Directory,
I have created 2 business services for sender and reciever.
Sender side i have used soap adapter and reciver side i have used rfc adapter.
I have generated the wsdl file for the scenario.(While generating wsdl file, i have used sender interface as outbound synchronous)
While executimg, i have used microsoft Infopath. It is wroking fine.
I have implemented the same scenario using BPM.In that in message interface, i have created 5 messge interfaces.(outbound-Async,Inbound-Async,Abstract-Async(for  outbound and inbound),and abstract-sync
i have generated the wsdl file for the scenario. In that i have given the sender interface as outbound Aync name.(IS this correct).
So while executing the infopath, It will ask for 3 forms.
submit and receive data
submit data
receive data
i have checked the submit data. But iam not able to see the output.It is showing "An error occured while the form is being submitted"
The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred:
System Error
<detail><s:SystemError xmlns:s="http://sap.com/xi/WebService/xi2.0"><context></context><code>BPE_ADAPTER.SYNCHONOUS_MESSAGE</code><text>The process does not support the given synchronous interface or does not support synchronous messages</text></s:SystemError></detail>
SO please help me in regarding this issue.
I have tried giving with the abstract-sync interface, while generating the wsdl. Even though it is showing error.
Please suggest any idea.

Hi Jayasimha,
I have used the TCode SWWl. But i am not able to see any messages there.

  • Problem with Consuming ABAP Server Proxy WSDL in InfoPath

    Tried to design a InfoPath (MS Office 2003) form from a WSDL file of a web service generated from an ABAP Server Proxy in a NW2004s SP10 system.  InfoPath rejected this WSDL with error “InfoPath cannot use the selected Web service method for receiving data because the method does not provide valid XML data”.  Tried other WSDL files from other web services from ABAP Proxy with InfoPath, all got rejected.
    Validated the WSDL file with XMLSPY, no error.  Tried to import the WSDL into XI 3.0, no error.  Also tried the WSDL in .NET C#, also worked fine.  It seemed only InfoPath does not like this WSDL from ABAP Proxy.
    Created a similar web service in XI 3.0 and InfoPath had no problem with its WSDL.  Then I compared the two WSDL files.  There are differences.  After try and error on changing the differences, I have nailed down to the XML tag that caused the problem.  Please see the extracted WSDL line attached at the end.  In the XI 3.0 generated WSDL the wsdl:message and the wsdl:part have the same name.  In the ABAP Proxy generated WSDL the wsdl:part has the name “Parameters” which is different from the wsdl:message.  After I copied the wsdl:message name to the wsdl:part name, InfoPath accepted the WSDL file without any problem.
    I know the fix but I like to find out the root cause.  Is this a known issue?  Did we miss some configuration setting that’s causing this issue?  Any help will be much appreciated.

    Anne Tarnoruder has pointed out to me that her SDN article "Consuming SAP Enterprise Services in a Microsoft Office InfoPath Form" has described the the cause and workaround of this issue on page 9.  I am extracting it below and mark this thread as answered.  Thanks to Anne but not sure how I can award point to her.
    Currently SAP supports only the Document style of WSDL, and not the Microsoft-specific RPC style, which causes a problem when consuming SAP services in the Microsoft environment. In this example, you need to apply a workaround that involves a minor correction of locally-stored WSDL files:
    a. In the Project Explorer toolbar, click the Show all files icon and expand the Web reference folder.
    b. For each Web reference in the project, perform the following steps:
    c. Open the WSDL file, replace all instances of <wsdl:part name="parameters" with <wsdl:part name="parameter" (remove the s in parameters) and save the file.
    d. Right-click the Reference.map file and choose Run Custom Tool to invoke a utility that generates code for XML Web services. This recreates the local proxy.

  • Using generated wsdl file to other scenario

    Hi...
        I have done one scenario like giving
    Input File:  Fname,Lname,Address
    Output file: FullName,address.
    using BPM.
    After doing the sceanrio i have generated the wsdl file. I have tested the wsdl file using infopath.It is working fine.
    Then i have done anothe scenario like File_webservice_File sceanrio. In this scenario, i have used the wsdl file which i have generated before using BPM. while executng the scenario, output is not coming. i have used 2 receiver communication channels for soap and for file.For soap, i have given the target url and soap action of the wsdl file which i have generated.In moni i can see the 3 messages. for one message it is showing checked flag, but for other 2 messages, it is not showing any flag. Can you please tell, where i have done wrong.

    I am gathering the statistics for the full database statement is .
    execute dbms_stats.gather_database_stats(ESTIMATE_PERCENT => 99, CASCADE => TRUE)
    I tried to gather the stats on schema but no effect.
    No of indexes are same in UAT and Pro.
    I am still confuse if we have less data do it change the plan and if it did it should be faster.
    Thats the max it got format. is there any other way i can format that or send u.

  • InfoPath 2010 form parsing error with 3600 execution timeout value in SharePoint 2010

    Hi,
    I have a list in SharePoint 2010 with 100 columns where 25 of them are calculated columns. This list is designed by InfoPath 2010 with two secondary data connections to pull a few data from another two lists. There are 25 set value rules with the submit
    button in InfoPath from. At present, the list is containing around 1000 items.
    The problem is, when I published the InfoPath form it throws an error:
    The SOAP message cannot be parsed.
    In fact, the execution timeout is set to 3600 in config file. When I delete items from the list and keep it around 700 the InfoPath form publish then.
    Could somebody tell me why this problem and what is the possible solution.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi pointtoshare,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you published InfoPath form.
    Please modify the web.config file like :
    <location path="_layouts/UploadEx.aspx">
         <system.web>
           <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="51200" executionTimeout="300" />
         </system.web>
       </location>
    And modify the <securityPolicy> section like :
    The web.config file is in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\spwebappname.
    There is another reason for this issue, please take a look at :

  • Infopath cannot submit the form because it contains errors. Errors are marked with either a red asterik(required fields) or a red, dashed border (invalid values)

    Infopath cannot submit the form because it contains errors. Errors are marked with either a red asterik(required fields) or a red, dashed border (invalid values).
    Press Ctrl+Shift+O for next error or Press Ctrl+Shift+I for error details
    Please help me, Thank in advance.
    Sravan.

    Hi Sravan, this means that one or more of the fields are required to be filled in or have validation set up on them so that the information entered matches a certain criteria. Make sure what's entered matches what's required. If the form still can't be
    submitted, check the rules set in InfoPath and the list/library to see what's causing the error(s).

  • SharePoint 2013 Infopath form list of WSDLs

    Does anyone have a good list of all available infopath WSDLs?
    _vti_bin/usergroup.asmx
    ect.?

    Hi,
    Here is a list of the web service available in InfoPath in the link below(same for SharePoint 2013):
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb862916%28office.12%29.aspx
    And for SharePoint 2013, you can find the services under the folder located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\ISAPI.
    Best regards.
    Thanks

  • Infopath 2007 - red X shows in contact selector control - control appears to be un-recognized

    I have a Infopath form I had been working on, I have 3 contact selectors, and the form has been successfully published to a non-production sharepoint 2007 environment.  Everything was working as expected.
    When I open the form today (either my local copy or the template on the server), all of my contact selectors are showing a redX as if the control is not recognized.  I still have the contact selector listed in my controls tool pane.  When I try
    to preview the form, it errors stated that infopath cannot display the form.  I see no related errors on the design checker.
    When I create a new form on the SharePoint site, the contact selectors are working as expected still.
    What am I missing?
    Not sure what category to use, there is nothing under Office, so I will put in under Infopath Services 2007 for now.

  • Red square border prevents continuous vi execution

    i see a red square border in my vi diagram and whenever i press the run continuously icon,
    the vi executes and then stops at a particular node at this point i have to press the
    pause/continue button or sometimes i have to press the step out button.
    i havent specified any breakpoints and the vi show no errors during compilation.
    i have tried many things like disabling debugging ,checking the vi for breakpoint etc..
    but none of them seem to work ,the red square border still seems to be there.
    can u specify some way to remove this . am i doing anything wrong ? please guide me ..."
    i am using labview 6i

    The red square border is indeed a breakpoint. Just select the breakpoint tool and point to some blank space inside the diagram. If the cursor is an empty (not filled in) stop sign then there IS a breakpoint there. Just click and the red border should go away and the cursor change to a filled stop sign. Give it a try and see if there is a breakpoint there.

  • Infopath form, one approve button with three rules, what is the order of execution

    i have designed a approval form the the "approval" button, it has three rules, one is submit to host, the second is set value to one field, the last one is to close form.
    some times, especially when the server is too busy, the first rule execute a long time, at last it seams fail, but the second and the last execute ok.
    that is, the workflow status is NOT START, but the value is set and the form is closed.
    when the approver open the workflow, the approval form check the stateValue is changed, the form show one "already approvaled" view. but the workflow still NOT START.
    i am very confused for this, hope someone give me some advices. thanks all guys!
    lixw
    i just know what has just happen. i changed some code, and this make some task been locked.
    thanks everyone!

    Why is the rule for updating a field value is set to execute after form submit? Shouldn't it be prior to submit?

  • Error publishing WSDL to service registry

    Hello,
    We have just installed PI 7.1.
    I have created a service in ESR.
    When I click on the WSDL tab and click on Publish, I get the errors listed below.
    My questions are:
    1. Do I need to do any specific service registry configuration and what are those?
    2. If you look at the errors, it says connection refused to localhost:50100. Where does it get that settings from? We have our instance installed on port 50000 not 50100.
    Please help.

  • Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16

    Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
    I need to make wsdl web service call in my weblogic app server. The web service is provided by a 3rd party vendor. I keep getting error
    Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found
    Certificate chain received from ws-eq.demo.xxx.com - xx.xxx.xxx.156 was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure
    Validation error = 16
    From the SSL debug log, I can see 3 verisign hierarchy certs are correctly loaded (see 3 lines in the log message starting with “adding as trusted cert”). But somehow after first handshake, I got error “Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found”.
    Here is how I load trustStore and keyStore in my java program:
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore",”cacerts”);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", trustKeyPasswd);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStoreType","JKS");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStoreType","JKS");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", keyStoreName);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword",clientCertPwd);      System.setProperty("com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump","true");
    Here is how I create cacerts using verisign hierarchy certs (in this order)
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignClass3G5PCA3Root.txt -alias "Verisign Class3 G5P CA3 Root"
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediatePrimary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Primary"
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediateSecondary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Secondary"
    Because my program is a weblogic app server, when I start the program, I have java command line options set as:
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore=SSLTrust.jks
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.enforceConstraints=strong
    That SSLTrust.jks is the trust certificate from our web server which sits on a different box. In our config.xml file, we also refer to the SSLTrust.jks file when we bring up the weblogic app server.
    In addition, we have working logic to use some other wsdl web services from the same vendor on the same SOAP server. In the working web service call flows, we use clientgen to create client stub, and use SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter to load trustStore and keyStore, and then bind the SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the webSerive client object and make the webservie call. For the new wsdl file, I am told to use wsimport to create client stub. In the client code created, I don’t see any way that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the client object, so I have to load certs by settting system pramaters. Here I attached the the wsdl file.
    I have read many articles. It seems as long as I can install the verisign certs correctly to web logic server, I should have fixed the problem. Now the questions are:
    1.     Do I create “cacerts” the correct order with right keeltool options?
    2.     Since command line option “-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore” is used for web server jks certificate, will that cause any problem for me?
    3.     Is it possible to use wsimport to generate client stub that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to it?
    4.     Do I need to put the “cacerts” to some specific weblogic directory?

    I received a workaround by an internal message.
    The how to guide is :
    -Download the wsdl file (with bindings, not the one from ESR)
    -Correct it in order that the schema corresponds to the answer (remove minOccurs or other things like this)
    -Deploy the wsdl file on you a server (java web project for exemple). you can deploy on your local
    -Create a new logicial destination that point to the wsdl file modified
    -Change the metadata destination in your web dynpro project for the corresponding model and keep the execution desitnation as before.
    Then the received data is check by the metadata logical destination but the data is retrieved from the correct server.

  • Infopath 2013 SOAP Web Service Data Connection - Error: The file is not a valid XML file

    Here are the steps to replicate the issue I’m having when adding lists.asmx or any other SharePoint web service in InfoPath 2013. This web service opens fine in the browser from my desktop. My account is a farm administrator and is added to the
    web application’s User Policy.  I can use these services just fine using Nintex 2013 Workflow.
    Open InfoPath Designer 2013.
    Select Blank Form and click Design Form button.
    Click “Data” tab.
    Click “From Web Service” and select “From SOAP Web Service”
    Enter https://mysiteurl.com/_vti_bin/lists.asmx?WSDL for the web service definition.
    Click Next.
    Windows Security window pops up.
    Enter a credential. I tried both my account and the farm account. My account is a farm admin and is added to the web application’s User Policy with Full Control.
    Click OK. It prompts for credential multiple times.
    I get below this error messages:
    Sorry, we couldn't open https://mysiteurl.com/_vti_bin/lists.asmx?WSDL
    InfoPath cannot find or cannot access the specified Web Service description.
    The file is not a valid XML file.
    Not enough storage is available to process this command.
    We have a project that is in need of these services using InfoPath so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Brian_TX,
    For your issue, try to the following methods:
    Change your service binding in web.config to:binding="basicHttpBinding". It seems in VS it defaults to wsHttpBinding.
    Replace all instances of "parameters" from the web service wsdl with the name "parameter"
    There are some similar articles about the issue, you can have a look at them:

  • How to move data connections with SOAP web service in different environments in InfoPath Forms 2010

    Hello,
    I've an InfoPath Form where I've around 10 SOAP web service data connections. They are calling a custom web service for a custom business process. The web service URL has a query string parameter which identifies whether it's a Test web service or the Production
    one. The web service URL looks like this:
    http://server/webservice/wsdl?targetURI=testSPRead (for the Test environment)
    http://server/webservice/wsdl?targetURI=ProdSPRead (for the Production environment)
    When I develop the form in Dev environment, I use the Test web service URL and save the data connection as UDCX files in the data connection library. After completing the development, when I deploy this Form in Production, I update the URL in the UDCX
    file in the Production data connection library, but when I run the Form in Production, it throws error 'Error occurred in calling the web service'. After doing more research, when I extracted the XSN file and opened Manifest.xsf file in Notepad, I found the
    references of 'testSPRead' parameter.
    So, in the UDCX file the web service URL is '/targetURI=ProdSPRead' but in the Manifest.xsf file, there is a reference of Test web service parameter which is 'testSPRead' and that's why it's throwing error.
    For testing purpose, I updated the Manifest.xsf file and replaced all the occurrences of 'testSPRead' to 'ProdSPRead' and also updated all the relevant files of the data connections (like XML, XSF etc.) and saved the Manifest.xsf as Form.xsn and deployed
    in Prod and it worked.
    The question is - is this the right way of doing it? There should be a simple method in such cases where web service has conditional parameter to identify the Test and Production web service.
    Does somebody know what is the right way of doing it? I also thought of adding 'double' data connections - one set of Test and another set of Production and call them by identifying the current SharePointServerRootURL, but that's a lot of work. I've 10 web
    service data connections in my Form and in that case I'll be having 20 data connections and setting their parameters in different Rules is too much work.
    Please advise. It's very important for me!
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your response Hemendra!
    I hope Microsoft improves this thing in subsequent patches of InfoPath 2010 or InfoPath 2013 because I don't think this is a very special requirement. This is failing the purpose of having UDCX files for data connections. Why the WSDL's parameter value
    is being written in the Manifest.xsf and other XSF and XML files. InfoPath should always refer the URL and parameters from the UDCX files.
