Redirect some users on signon (Tools 8.50)

Question

All,
I have a requirement for a subset of my users (those possessing a certain role) to be redirected to a particular page at logon (i.e. they need to be forwarded to a page without seeing the PIA homepage).
These users need to use the same PeopleSoft hyperlink as those whose logon should proceed as normal.
I've done this before on prior versions of PeopleSoft and it was quite straightforward, I've just wrapped a transfer within a

However on PeopleTools 8.50 the code has moved from WEBLIBs to App Packages and I can't find where to put the code - it always results in a garbled homepage. Has anyone done this, and located the correct method?

Hi Duncan,
Can't you just create your own Signon Peoplecode (PeopleTools > Utilities > User > Signon Peoplecode)? Add a new record which holds a function which is fired when users try to sign in to PeopleSoft. It's basically the same way as when you enable LDAP authentication. LDAP authentication will require the enabling of the FUNCLIB_LDAP.LDAPAUTH record for the signon PeopleCode to be fired at signin. Then it would be only a matter of creating a function which checks the UserID of the user signing in and redirecting it based on that (%responce.redirecturl=("Http://<your sign on page url>");). If it does not meet these requirements the next record in the signon PeopleCode sequence will be fired.
