Other reports not using Ref Cursors are working without errors.
Cause
This is a known Oracle Reports bug for MS Windows Platform.

Solution
To implement the solution, two one-off patches should be applied to
Oracle Reports %ORACLE_HOME% Please execute the following steps:

How to refer the report items?
I have standard sql report region contains 3 columns.
doc_id,doc_name and No_units.all three items are apex item.

Report to track interlinked movement of a material in a two step transfer

Request your input for the following
The scenario is that the stock transfer from one storage location to the other happens a two step transfer (313 and 315). To track the invenotry movements they want a report on a daily basis (gap of 24 hrs, 48 hrs etc) which can list down all the details at item level for materials for which the movement type 313 has happened but movement type 315 still needs to happen and the time gap between these two steps (i.e wether it has been 1 day or two days. etc.).
Is there is a standard report for movement types which are interlinked (like in this case 313 and 315 ) through which we can track what is the time gap between the first and second movement type and how much stock is waiting for the second step to happen before it can be avaialable to sell.

Here add following fields in layout;
Entry Data and Time of Entry and anlayse the time duration for the movements 313 and 315.

Printing page numbers in an ALV report with multiple grids

Hi,
I have developed a report using OO ALV GRID. The output is having multiple grids navigated using a menu button appended to the standard tool bar
(Ref report: BCALV_GRID_07). On navigation, we are able to display specific titles when each grid is displayed.
When we print those individual pages (the grids), we are able to print the page numbers and the title for the first grid but when we display the next grid and print, we are unable to initialise the page number
and print specific title. The page numbers continues from the last printing.
I am looking at identifying the grid when the print event - PRINT_TOP_OF_PAGE is triggered so that a grid specific title can be printed and also page number initialised.
Any suggestions is highly appreciated.

You cannot have one event for all the grids as you cannot identify for which grid the event has fired. You need to activate the event for each of the grid and handle the code independently.

1) Determine the desired output for End-user
2) Based on the desired output, write a program with data declarations for all the variales u will display in the report
3) Write extraction routines to fetch data from the DB tables
4) Read extracted data and bind the data for final output
5) Output data

parameters: p_matnr like mara-matnr.

Required report for the invoice processed twice for the same PO & Vendor

Hi SAP MM experts,
I want a report which is to identify the same invoice processed twice against the same vendor and same PO which system cannot detect only because the invoice numbers are manually entered slightly different, and that is why I also want to include the document date of the invoice so that the possibility of identifying the duplicated invoices is increased.
Any help will be highly appriciated.

You might also refer reports ME80RN,ME2N,ME2L for purchase order or refer report MIR5 for vendor.
Also refer report FBL1N - vendor open items,Check for document type - 'RE'
Whether check for double invoice is ticked accounting view of vendor master ? or else

Hi,
Use following reports with selection parameter as WE101 or WE103 (GR Exists) and then in output screen filter the column of GR Value and GR Quantity as per requirement.
- ME2N - PO List by Documents
- ME2M - PO List by Materials
- ME2L - PO List by Vendors
Also refer report ME80FN, here in output screen select option as "PO History"

Print Report and Parameter Prompt

I am using Crystal 2008 and .Net 2005. I have a report viewer on a windows form. When I preview a report, the Crystal based dialog for the report parameters comes up and the users can enter the parameters. When I call PrintToPrinter, this dialog does not come up and I get an error saying that there are Missing Parameter Values. I can't pass the parameters directly to the report at runtime during "silent" printing because the user needs to select them on the Crystal based dialog. How can I do this? I thought the code with the comment "//parameter not found, popup dialog for user to enter" would accomplish this.

In 9i Reports Services provides you with mechenism to attach a pluggable destination which in your case can be a fax. You can refer Reports java API for pluggable destination interface and attach your own code to do this task.
You can also refer FAX using Oracle9iAS Wireless plugin example at following url:

This uses Oracle9iAS Wireless to fax report output.

Hi,
Use MB5B report for the same, it will give you qty & values for overall receipts and issues for certain period or else refer report MC.2

Indeed yes. You can base your report on PL/SQL stored procedure. For this to work with JDBC query, your stored procedure must return records.

Report Queue Manager 9.04.2

Dev Suit = 9.0.4.2
Win XP SP2
Start a report server with <home>/bin/rwserver server=local
Open the Report Queue Manager, and queue=local.
Click job, then new, then set options.
Enter needed information, click ok then run.
RQM responds with "can not run report: Cannot connect to the report server. Network tns names ..."

Do you think it would be also a solution for me?

Designing SD queries or any queries depends on client requirement (refer report template) and you design query on top of IC/DSO/Multiprovider mostly with effective performance.
Use following Bex Functions and design query. understand each function properly and use them to improve query performance.
-     Generate index.
-     Build query on multiprovider and better use Constant Selection Function to bring infoset functionality to Multiprovider.
-     Make your query more dynamic using variables.
-     Do partitioning on IC when you have restriction on 0CALMONTH.
-     Use more free charecterstics.
-     Use include than exclude at Bex level.
-     Utilize Cache mode and Read mode functions.
