REFRESH OF TABLE CONTROL.

HI GURUS,
I AM USING TWO TABLE CONTROLS AND WANT TO SHOW THE SELECTED RECORDS IN THE SECOND TABLE CONTROL,
ACTUALLY FOR THE FIRST TIME IF I SELECT RECORDS IT IS SHOWING CORRECTLY IN THE SECOND TABLE CONTROL BUT
WHEN I AM BACK TO FIRST TABLE CONTROL AND AGAIN SELECT THE RECORDS,AFTER CLICK OK BUTTON THE SECOND
TABLE CONTROL IS NOT SHOWING THE FRESH ONE,EVERY TIME IT REQUIRES TO EXIT FROM THE PROGRAM,THEN IT WORKS PROPERLY.

Hi,
As per my understanding, you need to display the 2nd Table Control with fresh data every time you click the OK Command Button. So, you need to REFRESH the Table Control in the 2nd screen every time the PBO is triggered based on the OK Command Button. You can use the following code to Refresh the Table Control.
Syntax :
REFRESH CONTROL contrl FROM SCREEN dynnr.

    hi hema........
        if you are using a select query inside the supply function...
        then...
        you can just use node->invalidate(). method..
        it just invalidates the node that is bound to the table.
       so the supply function will be called again, which again uses the select query to fetch the values.. so that your table gets refreshed.

  • Update internal table data from table control

    Hi GURUS,
    I need help regarding one of my requirement.
    I need to display data from the internal table on the screen and when the user selects a record/multiple records from screen and clicks on approve button i need to update one of the field from N to Y in the corresponding Ztable. Once the record is updated from Ztable , that should no longer be visible for the user on the screen.
    I am using table control wizard to display data. I am able to update the Ztable, but that record is not refreshing from the user screen. Any suggestions would be approved.
    Also please let me know if table control is the best way to do this/ alv grid control??

  • How to fill table control by these FMs

    Hi,
    How to fill table control rows by using function module dynp_update_fields or dynp_values_update. I have a custom screen wherein i have few input/output fields at the top. F4 help has already been defined for these fields and i want to populate/refresh a table control available in the same screen w.r.t., value chosen by user from F4 help. please let me know how to use these FMs for this or if there is any other way to do this.

    Look at FM DYNP_GET_STEPL which provides  povstepl  index to be able to update field values in correct row of table control with  DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE (and to read correct value with DYNP_VALUES_READ  too)
    NB: If you need to update multiple rows, I'm not sure that can be done in POV, you may be required to modify the internal table and trigger PAI/PBO cycle with a suppress dialog, or method/FM to trigger ok_code.

  • How to modify changes of table control data in PAI

    I have a table control where the columns are brought by dict fields.I am able to bring data into table control through an itab.
    Now what i want is whenever user edits data in table control and clicks on save button the corresponding changes should be made in database.
    For this according to my understanding we need to (in PAI) modify the changes in itab from the table control and then in SY-UCOMM of SAVE button we need to update in database table using itab.
    For this , I am not able to write code for modifying the changes in itab from table control. Here is my code below.Please tell me how to do this.

  • How to add new field to table control data not displayed

    I have added some nwe fields to already existing table control added three new fields...
    though the recoreds are inserted in teh table properly with the three new fields user id data and time fields
    but on display only the data is not shown in these three columns though the data is coming in internal table...but not to the screen output
    pls suggest where the problme may be

    First try the small button Configuration on top right of the table control, as displayed when you run the program. Hit 'Administrator' and see if the fields are checked as invisible. Uncheck them, activate and save.
    If the fields are not in that list at all, then check if the table control is initialized for the screen you use. For example
    CONTROLS: tc_ent_lines TYPE TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN '0100'.
    but you copied your screen and use the same table control in the new screen 0200. Then all you have to do is
    REFRESH CONTROL 'TC_ENT_LINES' FROM SCREEN '0200'.
    before you show the screen.

    Hi Moni,
    The problem as I had replied in your earlier post is with the MODIFY statement.
    MODIFY TABLE ITAB FROM ITAB. This statement will do the modifications based on the table key. When you have character fields as editable, then some problems are to be anticipated. In such a scenario, you must update the internal table based on the <i>index</i>, rather than based on <i>key</i>.
    So consider using
    MODIFY ITAB FROM ITAB INDEX TCL-CURRENT_LINE.
    Where TCL is the name of the Table Control. Also observe the difference in syntax here, don't use the TABLE keyword for the MODIFY statement.
    Please try it out and let me know.

    My sorting is working fine but thr is small problem
    1. user has habit of pressing enter after everything,
        after entering the values in editable fields in Table control , it doesnt retain the entered values but if he presses save button  immediately after entering values , it saves .
    how 2 hold the values after pressing enter  button
    2. Now with this code , it saves the table control content but doesnt display the latest values immediately on the screen .
    3. User doesnt want to press SAVE button , he wants save the Table control content by pressing ENTER button,
      What is the OK_CODE value for Enter Button plz ?

    in your PAI you have to loop at the table control table and put a method here you read the lines and save it.
    if you use wizard to create a table control it will automatically give the code to you...

  • Sales order creation with bapi in webdynpro using table control

    When i use table control to update the line items only first row is getting updated in the sale order creation and the loop is not updating the other row to header only the first row is getting saved, for the same set of data sale order is getting created in va01 for multiple line items.
