Refreshing materialized view for the past days
Hi,
I have a materialized view which should get refreshed for every commit in the base table.
Due to some issues in the view definition, it was not getting refreshed for the past 2 weeks.
I have fixed the issues in the view definition and now it gets refreshed for evey commit.
But I would like to retrieve the data for the missing 2 weeks also. Any idea how to implement this?

I own a 13-inch MacBook Pro and for the past day, my wifi on my laptop says I only have two bars of connection and is running very slow,but all of my other devices such as my iPhone and iPad are connecting perfectly to the wifi. How can I fix this? I have tried to shut my laptop off and let it rest and I have also re-started my wifi router three different times. Someone please help me with this problem so I can begin to use my laptop again as I take it to school and use it for class.
Thanks so much!FCP, and all software on OSX, has a few different "preference" files (the extension is .plist), which store all your user settings. Each time you resize a window, change a setting, anything, this file is re-written. Kinda easy to see how they would become corrupt every now and then.
-Close FCP
-Navigate to User>Library>Preferences and delete com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist
-Navigate to User>Library>Preferences>Final Cut Pro User Data and delete Final Cut Pro 5.0 Prefs
-Empty your trash
Relaunch FCP and see if that worked.
Download FCP Rescue to make this process easier in the future. When you have FCP running really smooth, open FCP Rescue and create a backup of your preference files. If it starts acting wanky, just run FCP Rescue and Restore your backup preferences. Works really slick, and it's free.

For the past day or 2 mail sent from .Mac Mail is not being delivered.
I have been using .Mac Mail and Apple Mail application on my computer for about 10 months. The past 2 days when I go to .Mac Mail online, compose an e-mail, click on send, get the message that says, "Your message has been sent." The e-mail is also in my Sent folder but the e-mail message is not delivered. I sent an e-mail this way to my Hotmail account, my Yahoo account and even to myself at my .Mac Mail account and none of them were delivered. I tried several times at different times and I just tried again now. Still no good. They never went to any of the inboxes even hours later. Is there something wrong with the outgoing .Mac Mail sever? Or what else can it be?

Repair permissions with Disk Utility (probably not the issue, but won't hurt)

If you are still stuck, you'll need to post more detail about your configuration, hopefully more log detail and the contents of imapd.conf and the output of postconf -n

I got the new iphone 5c and it wont work! Ive gotten to wifi settings on activating, now all it says is it may take a few minutes to activate your new iphone with the spinning ball and wont do anything! Its been like this all day! Help!!

Ipod has shut off and only shows the apple logo and the loading screen for the past day
I was downloading a song from one of the ipod apps for illegal songs and it just stoped downloading so i restarted my ipod and it would turn back on but if i would try to go back into the app it would only push me out of it. so after restarting it a coupld more times just with the ipod it has resulted in not turning back on and remaining on the apple logo screen then to the loading screen. it wont turn on at all. i have charged it (or tried) for a whole night but the whole night it has remained on the two screen. i cant plus it into my computer because then i will lose all my music. i dont know what to do.?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

If an MV is dependent on another, use DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH_DEPENDENT

Ora-04045 when refreshing materialized view
Can any one help with this error ora-04045 .I get this error when refreshing the materialized view for the first.second time when i refresh the materialized view it gets refreshed.
My database version is 8.1.7.xYes it is enabled.if you refresh for the 1 time it show object invalid when you refresh again it refreshes and object is valid.i am using dbms_refresh pacakge to do this.one more problem is that i have made a procedure in which i am calling dbms_refresh pakcage 8 times to refresh 8 views.if 1 gets refreshed then 2 will not it will fail.i don't understand this behaviour

How Fast is the Fast Refreshed Materialized View ?
Hi all,
In our Front End aplication we have two big view :
V_ALL_TRANS -> this is UNION ALL on about 10 transaction tables
V_SUMM_TRANS -> this query with SUM & GROUP BY on V_ALL_TRANS.
We are having performance problem on V_SUMM_TRANS, I am thinking of making V_ALL_TRANS as materialized view.
The requirement is : every INSERT on the transaction tables ( and some tables with INSERT & UPDATE) will "immediately reflected" in V_ALL_TRANS.
Is this a possible approach ?
How "immediate" the refreahed will be done by oracle ?

Of course this is a possible approach.
I think we have a time that which we can keep with for ther refresh in materialized views.
but using that may become yet another cause of concern because ur front end may experience performance problems if all the time refresh is going on thru materialized views.
Maybe you can time the refreshes to happen at nigh when the user usage is very low.. -

I have an iphone 2g unlocked for tmobile. For the past 2 years it has worked fine then out of no where I get this message "your selected cellular network is no longer available" and the service cuts in and out all day. It can't find tmobile on my phone for some reason but for 2 years previous it could no problem? tmobile says it is a problem with my phone and not their service.
Any ideas what to do?I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.

the current day was light blue in ical in 10.6 but with plenty of contrast, but I recently made the bigger leap all the way to calendar in 10.9. the choice of color is terrible for reasons such as Spile1962 puts below, but also not having any way to tweak it is terrible. I'm on a bran d new imac and can barely see a difference and frankly, while I appreciate the subtlety, I still forget to look for the darker bar across the top of the current week and day. we should be able to adjust weekend and current day bg colors.
I went into the app's package contents in hopes that they were using a tiff/png file that I could tweak on my own but couldn't find anything for them. all the icons are there, as are the bg sets for all the little pop-ups and things, but I couldn't even find a reference to a hex color in the plist file.
send apple feedback. I just did myself, except that Calendar hasn't made the list (yet?), only iCal up to version 4.x, and Messages is still only iChat for feedback, and some others are old as well. apparently after steve died, apple's attention to these details just died with him. it's been that long since those other apps should have been relevant on their site.
