Final Invoice Processing in Down Payment

Hi Frendz,
We have Succesfuly created Downpayment Request by SD with Accounting Entries, How to clear Final Invoice Processing.
Steps:- Created Sales Order with customer and material with Billin Plan ItemCat is TAO and Created Downpayment Invoice with the reference of S.O, Accounting entries generated as noted items. Billing type is FAZ
Now Created Delivery Doc with ref of same s.o no. and trying to create final inovice billing type is F2, I.Cat is TAO, But Its not allowing to create billing document.
If i am wrong please correct me the process.

If so, then you can only create billing w/r to your sales order..bcoz billing plan  TAO item category enables you to create billng w/r to order only..
As long as u r using Milestone billing TAO you cannot create invoice w/r to Delivery...

    You can follow the steps provided by Venkat, but there is a limitation when you process down payment with F110.
    Becuase based on down payment request, when you post a down payment document through F110, system will default a payment block A in the posted doument.
    So, when you will post the actual invoice, system will pay that invoice in full, and will not net the down payment you already posted.  Example:
    Step1) Vendor Down Payment: $300
    Step2) Vendor Invoice Posted: $1000
    Now you expect SAP to pay the net credit balance of $700, but F110 will pay $1000 instead if you forgot to manually clear the invoice against the down payment. We used the following substitution rule to force the system to pay the net amount:
    1)First create a set for all your company codes: T-code GS01 e.g. Set Name: Y_COMP_CODE, Field BUKRS
    2) Transaction OBBH
    Prerequisites:
    BKPF-BUKRS IN Y_COMP_CODE AND
    SYST-TCODE = 'F110'  AND
    BSEG-BSCHL = '29' AND BSEG-UMSKZ = 'A'

    Dear Friends,
    I am trying to add some Sales Invoice with advance payment by DTW.
    Entries of Sales order , Sales Advance Down Payment request & Payment against Advance Down payment request are already done.
    In Invoice master file for DTW I add down payment amount in DpmAmnt.
    Invoice was successfully uploaded but link between down payment & invoice is not generated.
    But link between Invoice and Sales Order is generated.  
    How to link Down Payment Entry to Sales Invoice in DTW?

  • ZF2 Invoice Creation for Down Payment Order

    Dear All ,
    Kindly give me your inputs on the following issue .
    1. Sales order - ZOR  with net value of 1500.00 with material Item cat - TAO- Milestone-Bill.Plan. In item data billing plan tab , i have maintained  Rs 500 as down payment , for billing doc type - FAZ with Rule in billing plan/invoice plan "05" and Date description"0009-Down payment".
    In 2nd line i  have maintained values for ZF2 customer invoice with  Rule in billing plan/invoice plan "05" and Date description"0008-Closing Invoice". with billing block "02" and fpr value RS1000.00
    2. I have created FAZ invoice   for Rs 500 and posted the same in F-29  and posted the document .
    3. I have created delivery and completed PGI for the same
    4. Removed the billing  block and tried to create  ZF2 customer invoice , the invoice is created with "ZERO" value .
    Also tried by changing by Rule in billing plan/invoice plan "03" and Date description"0008-Closing Invoice". with billing block "02" and for value RS1500.00. In this case the invoice is created for Rs 1500.00.
    As per SAP Std , while creating ZF2 invoice . TWO line items should created
    1. for Rs 500 and another for Rs 1000.00
    Note : I have not changed any configuration settings  and am using the same SAP settings .
    Kindly help me on this issues with your valuable inputs as i need to deliver the same today .

    I'm have exactly the same scenario and am getting exactly the same results, trying to get things working with the standard settings first of all:
    As an example, I have a Billing Plan at Header Level which has two billing plan items tems (there is only a single order item):
    The Net Value is 255.08
    Bill Date         DTDS                                        Value   Bill Rule          Bill Status     Date Cat        Bill Type
    15.06.2011     0009     Down payment    50.00      5     C     04     FAZ
    15.06.2011     0008     Closing Invoice    255.08      3     A     02     F2
    My FAZ Bill Doc has been created and the down payment has been posted in F-29 and is therefore cleared. However, when I remove the bill block and create the F2 invoice, based on SAP help I was expected two items, one for 255.08 and one containing the cleared downpayment. However, I only see a single item for 255.08. Condition AWZR is not shown in the pricing either.
    I've checked and double checked the confiig settings on the SD side (copy control etc), my FI colleague says things are correct on his side. Am I missing something very obvious here? Should my F2 billing doc contain two items or do I post the F2 billing document and the FI side deal with things?
    Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!!

  • Is it OK to use F-47 and F-48 for partial invoicing plan with down payment

    Dear all,
    In the case of partial invoicing plan I am using a separate row for down payment ,
    The total of the sum is greater than the PO line item
    But after the f-47 and f-48 and miro for actual mile stone the partial invoicing plan is not coming gray.
    What would be the procedure for down payment for a partial invoicing PO (Milestone PO) ?

    total amount 8,000.00 Rs
       30.00% 2,400.00 down payment
      12 30.00% 2,400.00
      13 30.00% 2,400.00
       40.00% 3,200.00
    PO is linked with project activity ,whenever the project person accept the activity in the PO invoicing plan, the line item status is unlocked ,and then I directly i go for MIRO,the amount is taking automatically percentage wise ,but when I go for the advance payment with F-47  & F-48 the vale I have to enter maually and after MIRO .How to solve the problem .

  • How to Reconcile payment with invoice made gaainst down payment request

    Dear All,
    There is a down payment request against which an incoming payment has been made. The actual ar invoice is booked at a later date. Now How do I reconcile the payment made with this invoice. When I try to reconcile it with the invoice using internal reconciliation it gives an error, you cannot reconcile a payment made against down payment request from here.
    Please suggest if you know any solution for the same.

                   I think there is no need to reconcile as its already a linked with AR Invoice. WHen you do incoming payment on the basis of AR Down Payment then it that down payment reference you should give to AR Invoice. Have you given such link as its provision is there in SAP.......

  • Down Payment - Final Invoice Based on Real Delivered Quantity

    Hello all!
    My need is the following:
    The final invoice for a Down-Payment must in consequence of the real delivered quantity:
    Exemple:
    Sales Order: 100 Units for a total amount of 100u20AC
    Down Payment Request: 30% --> 30u20AC - So it miss 70u20AC to clear it.
    Now: complicated:
    Delivery: Only 50 units available and shipped.
    Final Invoice:   Amount equal to (100-30)*50/100 
    Any idea?!

    you are right that B1 is not checking the total value of DP created from the Sales Order.
    The logic and checking procedure here is only between Sales Order -> Delivery/Invoice.
    DP Invoice is considered as transaction related to document the receipt of the money (parallel to the sales process). Between the moment of basing of DP to Sales Order it is still possibility to adjust Sales Order as there is no posting behind Sales Order.
    The question is what would be a checking  procedure in case that on Sales Order there is based Delivery and DP? What would be the system priority to take into a consideration?

  • Credit Note issue against AR Down payment

    Hi,
    The business process is down payment and milestone billing. We have raised the FAZ for the down payment for 100 EUR and we have recieved the payment from customer and posted the same in F-29.
    1. We have to raise the credit memo against the down payment ( We need to cancel the cleared down payment). When issuing credit note against the credit memo, the following message appears:
    No account is specified in item 0000001001
    Message no. F5670
    Diagnosis
    No account was specified for account type "S" in item "0000001001" of the FI/CO document.
    System Response
    The Financial Accounting program cannot process the document.
    Procedure
    A system error has probably occurred in the application you called up. Check the data transferred to item "0000001001" of the FI/CO document.
    2. If we try to create the final invoice then the down payment recieved line item also will be flown. And if try to issue the credit note agaisnt the Billing document also the same issue.
    Normally the Down payment is noted item and we are doing manual posting of incoming payment in FI. And the same we are clearing. And we need to issue the Credit note. And there is no account determination for the down payment line item.
    Please advise.

    We have done the document reverse and reset in FBRA.or normal item cancel in FB08.
    Business want to issue Debit Note with reference to the Down payment invoice(FAZ). While doing the same I am facing the account determination issue, as the down payment is with only noted item.

    Step 2. Create Down payment request
    Step 3. Post incoming payment
      F-29 done
      Step 4. Create the next mile stone related billing.
    Invoice XXXXXXXX with Down payment cleared line item and invoicing line item
    Step 5. Raise debit note with reference to Milestone relating line items
    Only line item with invoicing line needs to be selected while raising Debit memo request:
    Step 6. Create billing document
    Note:  For the down payment line item, we need to follow the process of Case 1(Can this be over come by issuing the Debit note from FI with reference to Down payment Invoice FAZ ?) by issuing FI Debit note.

  • Down payment no final invoice

    Hi,
    I have created a down payment. It was ok, I have made the followign steps:
    1. Create the downpayment using a millestone billing plan in the SD order
    2. Create the down payment request in SD (VF01)
    3. Posting the down payment request (VF01)
    4. Collect the downpayment (F-39)
    However when I have try to make the final invoice, no value have been substracted from the total invoice value (the down payment previously made have to be substracted). Why the downpayment quantity is not substracted in the final invoice?
    I appreciate any suggestion

    Say in the sales order ->item data -> billing data you have given the data as follows
    Say for example :
    Net value - 5000
    No.  billing date     date              billing type         amount
    1st billing date     -  07/11/2008        FAZ              1500
    2nd billing date   -   14/11/2008        FAZ               1000
    Final Billing date   - 15/11/2008        F1                 2500
    So when you create 1st billing you will get Rs 1500/- and for the 2nd billing you get amount of Rs.1000/- and When you do your final billing then you will get Rs.2500.
    But when the 1st billing doc gets generated for Rs1500 it has to be cleared by FI also and even for the 2nd billing document and finally for the last  billing date.Then the accounting gets cleared

    Hi,
    There is a business need for companies to issue/receive Invoices including tax (or
    VAT) for Down Payments made or received. These Invoices can then be cleared with
    partial or final Invoices. Companies can record a Down Payment received in SAP
    Business One by creating a Payment not based on an Invoice. However, due to legal
    requirements in certain countries the recording of a Down Payment requires an Invoice
    or a billing document.
    Down Payment Request and Down Payment Invoice documents have their own numbering series. The Down Payment Invoice
    resembles a regular Invoice and the Down Payment Request resembles a Sales
    Quotation. The user may define a different series under Invoices to be used in the
    Down Payment document. Neither of these two documents affects the On Hand stock
    or the stock valuation. They can be of Items or Service type.
    The process for them are:
    Down Payment Invoice>Payment of Down Payment Invoice >Regular Invoice> Payment of Regular Invoice.
    Down Payment Request>Payment of Down Payment Request > Regular Invoice >Payment of Regular Invoice and Clearing of Down Payment.
    For the invoice paid, you can find a Payment Means icon from Invoice window, click on it, there is payment information and a link for it.

    Hi all,
    since Enhancement Pack 2 there is a new possibility of down payment process. The new process is not depending on billing plan instead depending on Document conditions.
    With this you can also have the the final invoice delivery related. In the order you have just a new header condition AZWA (debit down payments).
    Is there also a possibility to create for this new downpayment process a down payment request with financal bookings (similar to billing type FAZ) ?? The documentation doesn't give any information about this in the new downpayment process.?
    Any experience would be nice??

  • AR Down Payment Invoice - Freight field needed

    Hi,
    I have various freight options defined in Admin>Setup>General>Freight.
    When I create an AR Invoice there is a Freight field in the General area near the Total field, here I can click the orange arrow and select the appropriate freight option from the list.
    But when I create an AR Down Payment Invoice this Freight field is not appearing.
    Can anyone advise how to have the Freight field appear so I can add freight to an AR Down Payment Invoice in the same way as an AR Invoice? I have tried the form settings but have not resolved the problem

    This is the scenario - perhaps there is a better way for me to manage the process than Down Payment Invoice? :
    Our normal process with an established customer who has a 30-day credit account:
    We create SAP Sales Order.
    When goods are ready to ship we copy Sales Order to Delivery which adjusts the stock level and we ship the goods.
    We then copy Delivery to AR Invoice and add the freight.
    But when a new customer wishes to place an order we require payment in full including tax & freight before shipping:
    So I need to create a document to send the customer which is the same as the final invoice including tax & freight but which does not make any adjustment to the stock.
    What is the best way to do this?

    This is regarding the down payment clearing against invoice where WH tax is involved in Down payment as well as in Vendor Invoice. we also deduct Work Contract Tax Z1 on vendor invoice.

    But in this process, it clearing WCT tax code also which i dont want in this. And if i adjust amount and do not clear whole amount available amount then after simulating it showing difference coming and debit and credit amount of line items.
    But if i dont include WCT tax code in whole process then its working fine no problem coming in it, but want it also to include in clearing process of down payment against invoice.

    i am following the SAP standard process for deducting TDS on down payment and invoices.
    First i deduct the TDS on down payment and Then again full TDS amount on invoice not adjusted it in WHT tab in base amount after adjusting Advance payment.
    in next process f-54 i cleared the advance payment against invoice so it reverse the invoice TDS amount to adjust the tds as per advance payment TDS.
    In img i confiured the WHT for payment posting as by selecting "Central inv. prop." option in Central invoice option.

  • Customer Down Payment Process Russia

    Hi,
    We are currently in the process of implementing our Russian subsidiary into SAP ECC 6.0. In this process we are struggeling to find the correct setup for a specific business process:
    For a lot of our customers we are requesting prepayment. We want to handle this in SAP via the down payment process (as in Russia VAT needs to be paid on down payments). So steps are:
    We create down payment request for a specific amount.
    Customer does down payment + down payment is posted in SAP.
    Customer places an order.
    We deliver the product and issue invoice (invoice needs link to down payment against which the invoice will be cleared).
    Down payment needs to be cleared.
    The part we are struggling with is that the down payment the customer does is not for a specific order. It is a lump sum amount which could cover 1 or more futur orders. So for instance down payment can be cleared partially with 1 invoice or serveral invoices can clear 1 down payment.
    Question is: How can we handle this correctly in the system? How can we link the down payment to the customer invoice (there needs to be a reference of the down payment in the customer invoice)?

    The customer invoice will not be in FI but will be triggered from SD. Russian requirement is that the down payment against which the invoice will be cleared needs to be printed on the invoice.
    Also, this seems a lot of manual work (manually transfer the dow payment F-39, manually clear the invoice with transferred down payment F-32, at the end also manually clear the original down payment with the down payment transfers F-32).
    If there are only a limited number of such customers this is feasible, but if there are a lot then it becomes cumbersum).
    One way of doing it more efficient, I thought, was to manually clear the invoice directly with the down payment via F-32. You can then post the open difference for the down payment surplus again as a down payment. But again this only works manually. I think there is no way to do this automatically (clear invoice with down payment based on amount and against latest down payment + post difference to down payment reconciliation account). I tried via transaction J3RCALD, but this does not seem to work.

  • Deferred payment of AR Down Payment Invoice

    One of our customers demands some changes within the Business One.
    The support in Ireland advised us to post these requirements in this Forum.
    If a customer pays an AR Down Payment Invoice not in one Amount, but in one ore more installments, it is not possible in the final AR invoice to deduct this amount in normal way.

    answer your question;
    1) As Saying without considering Drop Ship, it is on BP master accounting tab ; Down payment clearing account.
    But I usually normal AR Invoice for Drop Ship when the drop ship goods are released.
    2) I assume that AR Down Payment function is for advance payment. As you know we need Invoice for Incoming payment and reconciliation. If there are no AR Down payment documents, we have to create Incoming payment by "Payment on Account" and it posts to receivable account.
    If you create SO at first and create AR Down Payment copying from SO, it has a relationship between them. After that if you also create AR Invoice copying from same SO, it has a relationship between them. Although there is no direct relationship between AR Invoice and AR Down Payment Invoice, you can trace from AR Down Payment => SO => AR Invoice.
