Reg: Controller Option

Hi
I wanted to have only the following options while playing the movie in web browser:
1. Volume Control
2. Stop/Play Control
3. Forward and Rewind Control
All other setting controls, Save option Controls etc should be disabled.
Can anyone please let me know how to make this happen in the QuickTime.
This will be very helpful for me.

K8T Neo-FIS2R - P20378 Sata Controller option missing in BIOS. Cannot disable

A few hairs left....& those are disappearing quickly.......!!!!
I currently have Windows XP PRo running under a Promise SATA Drive. (NO RAID REQUIRED)
In order to allow for a fallback situation (which I am still using swapping between WIN XP & Vista), I found a 20GB IDE Disk attached it to the standard IDE controller & did a clean install of VISTA ULTIMATE on the 20GB Drive...So Far so good.
Next I booted up changed the boot sequence to pickup the 20GB IDE drive first ...Vista Came up....Still so far so good.
Then I found my mouse ...& both USB printers were not recognised.....2 days later I have them all going okay....one problem at a time....
The only issue left ... I cannot see the SATA Drive attached to the promise controller.....I have tried following a few of suggested methods to load the promise drivers that are around......still no luck. Most of the posts I see are around installing VISTA on a SATA drive...my case is just seeing a SATA drive this not the O/S disk.
Moving on ...no luck with the Promise Drives ...so I have tried changing to the VIA Controller by unplugging the SATA cord from the Promise controller & plugging into the VIA Controller ... I boot up & still no luck...The BIOS picks up the VIA change as I see a option to use <TAB> to setup RAID during bootup.. I do not want RAID only a single SATA Drive. One of the things I read was to turn off Promise via the BIOS settings . The manual indicates I need to access this by going to the "Onboard PCI Controller option", here I should be able to turn off the P20378 S.ata Controller...
my problem is ...I can see only the Lan Controller as a option to disable/ enable the other options including the P20378 S.ata Controller.. are not visible.. hence I am unable to disable the Promise SATA Controller within the BIOS..... HELP pretty please..... I can happily run VISTA but I do not have 150GB visible to me & my current disk space is tight.....I need that 150GB ...........

I agree with Hans, as far as we know there are no drivers for Vista to use the Promise controller, yet.
Same old, same old, Vista and no drivers.
You just have to wait and hope there wil be Vista drivers for the Promise controller.

RAID Card/SAS Controller Options for MacPro1,1

What options do I have with a MacPro1,1 for a SAS controller and/or hardware RAID?
The two products on the apple store (linked below) both have unfavorable reviews. It is also unclear what MacPro models the two cards work with.
My target configuration is 4 SAS drives in RAID 5.

Any app on the iPad which has the ability to connect to the Mac over the network shouldn't care whether the Mac Pro is wireless or wired - provided your network is configured so that the iPad and Mac Pro are on the same subnet (basically their IP addresses need to be the same except for the last number). Have you tried using the controller app with the Mac Pro wired as it is?

Wlan controller option 150

Hi friend,
Its posible enable option 150 (for phone) in wlan lan controller 5508, i want to create a DHCP POOL for my Wireless IP PHONE, but i can this option.
other solución could be to use a DHCP externel ( like router), but the broadcast traffic dont pass from Wlan Controller to Router.

Marco,
The DHCP server in the WLC is not fully functional. You can only set the subnet, GW and DNS that the client uses. You can't set any of the advanced features, like option 150 for the TFTP server.
Now, under the interface for the phone subnet, what do you have set for the DHCP server? if you set it to a router/switch/server the WLC will proxy the request to the device. and the client will get the correct address.
If you are using a secrity device, this won't work. You'll need to disable DHCP proxy.
From the GUI Controller > Advanced > DHCP, and uncheck the box.
From the CLI config dhcp proxy disable
Once this is done, make sure you have the ip helper-address under the L3 interface and point to the DHCP server.

UCS C240 M3 LFF - Not detecting RAID controller/option ROMs at all?

I've just lodged a service request for this, but as I don't have a service contract I'm not sure how much support I will get from Cisco vs them just replacing the whole unit..
In any case, It's a LFF C240 M3, dual CPU. It was purchased with an LSI2008 SAS Mez card.
- Mezz card was installed, and all the drives are lighting up, however I am getting no option ROM to boot/see the drives at all. BIOS shows "PCI-E: M" (I'm assuming this is the mezzanine card) as not populated, however I have the option rom set to enabled for this slot. I have no SCU setting, and no software RAID jumper is installed or being used. I have connected the correct SAS cables from the mezz card to the SAS expander.
- As well as this, I have two PCI-E SSD's that also have option ROMs - these are detected by OS's, however the option roms are not booting despite them being set in BIOS to load.
- I also have a 10GBE NIC that IS loading its boot rom. Strangely, if I disable the boot rom for the 10GBe NIC, and Enable the boot rom for the PCI-E SSDs, the 10GBE boot rom still loads (If I disable the PCI-E SSD boot roms, the 10GBe boot rom stops loading)
There are possibly 2 issues here - One is that the mainboard/mezz card/both are DoA. The other is that the BIOS is buggy, as enabling and disabling PCI-E slot option roms do not seem to correlate with the correct slots/boot at all.
Any input would be appreciated before I DoA the lot

The PCIe SSD is a PCI IDE/AHCI controller that has an SSD connected to it.
Further research shows that in AHCI mode, the UCS server will boot the option ROM. The PID is
VEN: 1B21 DEV: 0612 [0106] SATA Controller [PI 01]
We need to run it in IDE mode however to boot off it. In IDE mode the option ROM does not boot. The PID in IDE mode is:
VEN: 1B21 DEV: 0611 [0101] IDE Controller [PI 85]
Both ROMS boot fine in all other servers I have tried (SuperMicro, HP and Intel) so I can only assume the UCS is somehow selectively ignoring this boot rom by the PID?
Is there anything I can do here?

The "Format Disk" option does'nt appear on my cFP-2020 controller option

In my network, I have three controllers cFP-2020. I want to format one of them. But, I does'nt see the option "Format Disk" on this cFP-2020 controller.
When I try with the two other, I see the option "Format Disk".
Normaly, I does'nt have problem for this operation. It's the first time the option does'nt appear on the menu.
I don't know what I can do for format my disk

Reg Personalise option in Portal

The user did nt have personalise option in Portal.
Hence created him a copy of EU_role and gave him access to only user profile
The user is able to do the follwoing
1. Change his display name
2 .change his email id.
3. Change his password.
The scenario here is that the user should be only able to change his password and the other fields should be read only or greyed out.
Pls help of how can i achieve this

I have developed the below script to replicate the functionality of 'Edit Dashboard...' link. This script can be placed anywhere on the dashboard which would display the 'Edit Dashboard' link and behave like one. Also, the link would be hidden/shown based on the permissions defined for each dashboard.

Hi,
You have writen the Selsection screen comments, but that is over writing some of the parameters, so it is not genarating the selection screen, you need use the / for every comment on the selection screen, so that it will print in the next line

I have a selection screen & one Select option. for this select option, i am attaching F4 help using one Inetrnal table data. Now i want to make this select option field as a LISTBOX (Drop Down - as avaiable with PARAMETER), so that user can't enter the values other that List Box.

I thnk its not possible to make select-options look like a list box.
U have to create list box separately.
for creating a list box

USER-COMMAND onli DEFAULT 'AA'.
For populating the values use VRMSET_VALUES
