Regarding crosss selling

Hi sd gurus,
Am working on cross selling ,i had configured all the things, but plz tel me how do the pop up comes in sales order for cross selling

Hi,
To set up cross selling, you must make the following settings in Customizing:
·        Create the conditions tables, access sequence, and calculation schemes for determining cross selling articles, since the cross selling function relies on the conditions technique. (Alternatively, you can use the analysis discussed in “Activities” below to create the data automatically.)
·        Create a cross selling profile with the following attributes:
-         Determination of cross selling articles via function module
-         Price calculation scheme
-         Scheme using conditions technique
-         Flag indicating how the cross selling dialog is to appear
-         Flag indicating whether an availability check is to be performed
·        Assign the cross selling profile to a sales area, document scheme, and customer scheme.
If the order taker presses Enter after entering the data for one article, then a dialog box appears automatically, displaying a list of articles to be suggested to the customer. These cross selling articles are ones that pertain specifically to the purchased article.
·        If the order taker waits to press Enter until the customer has finished ordering, then the dialog box appears automatically, this time showing all of the articles in the sales order, along with their corresponding cross selling articles.

  • Questions in Regards to Selling/Trading iPad

I'm planning on selling my iPad to one of my friends, as I'm eventually going to upgrade to a bigger model since I currently have the 16gig model. I'm assuming I would do so without the sim Included, as I could use It In the new ipad I purchase. (I'm on the unlimited plan and don't want to lose It.)
    My questions are.....
    1. Would my friend need to get a sim from AT&T or take the ipad to an Apple store?
    2. I'm assuming I won't have no trouble using my current sim In a new ipad? I should be able to stick In the sim and have It work, correct?
    3. When I restore the ipad, do I need to do so with or without the sim card Inside the ipad? I know I'll need to do a complete back up first, but unsure of the sim situation.
I would appreciate any help at all!

    I appreciate the helpful responses!
I was told by one of the employees at the Apple store I called, that I wouldn't need to remove the sim and just simply delete my 3G account Information. Then on my new iPad, set It up/log In with the same Information I had on the previous one and I would still retain my account. I wouldn't have any problems restoring the iPad with the sim Inside the device as well.
I don't see a way to actually delete the Information since you would have to log In to your account beforehand. Would I need to log In and delete all the account Information or just simply complete a backup and restore the device?

  • Mis-selling of BT Broadband

    Hi,
Just a question to see if anyone else has had a similar experience to me regarding the selling of BT broadband packages.
I called the BT order team regarding the £16 a month unlimited broadband offer that I had seen online. It had 6 month free broadband and a £25 Sainsbury's voucher over an 18 month contact.
I stated that I would like to sign up for this offer and tranfer from sky broadband. The member of the BT order team then informed me that they had another offer that was only available over the phone and was probably better for me. They explained that it was effectively the same deal that I had seen online but over 12 months and it included anytime calls but I didn't get the £25 Sainsbury's voucher. This seemed like a better deal to me so I signed up for it. I also signed up for the line rental saver.
Having had numerous other problems and delays in getting the phone and broadband connected (thats another story) I recieved my first bill. Given I was expecting 6 months free broadband and given I had already paid my line rental i was surprised to see I had a bill of nearly £40. When I spoke to BT regarding this they told me I was being charged for calling features that I was expecting to get for free and that my broadband package was £23 a month and there was no 6 months free on this package. Needless to say I was not very happy. I have tried to contact BT's customer services to try and get this resolved but I have found that their customer service is nothing short of woeful.
If anyone could assist in how to try and get this resolved it would be much appreciated.
    Regards
    Alex

  • Gefen DVI to MiniDisplayPort woes

I recently bought a Gefen DVI to mini display port converter for use with my new 27" iMac. I connected the DVI output from my Powermac G5 (ATI X800 set at 1920x1200) to the Gefen box and then connected the Gefen to the iMac mini display port. I pressed cmd-F2 and then.....
    *********nothing*********
    Just a black screen.
Has anyone else been able to get this to work?

Joel, perhaps you are taking my post at cross purpose to its intent. English is not my first language. I am aware of the purpose of the thread, I have been a part of it from the beginning. I understood your comment regarding Apple selling the converter as a genuine question. So I was pointing out that the converter has a purpose and that Apple was selling it for all the legacy Macs with DVI, mini-DVI and micro-DVI video outports who wanted to use the new Apple LED Cinema Display that required mini-DisplayPort input. It is just unfortunate that this is confusing the folks now looking to connect those same legacy Macs to this new iMac.
It is fine that you disagree that this is a repurpose of the product, but this iMac did not exist when Apple began selling this converter specifically for the Apple Cinema display, which is the only Apple product that Apple mentions in its copy on the website where they sell this converter.
If you browse the Apple Store website and check out the product reviews of many of the adapters and converters for Macs, you will see that there are comments from many folks who have misunderstood the real purpose of the different products and are frustrated and angry because the product did not function as they thought it would.
Hopefully Apple will settle down with the DisplayPort technology and folks will not need to go in search of so many different adapters and converters. I also assist folks with Mac minis. This new iMac has confused a lot of them as they have looked for temporary displays for minis set up as entertainment centers. The new Early & Late '09 Mac minis have two video ports; a mini-DVI port and a mini-DisplayPort, but they come with only a mini-DVI to DVI (D) adapter in the box. So folks thought that they needed to then find a DVI (D) to mini-DisplayPort adapter to use with the one in the box to connect the new minis to a new 27" iMac, when the simple answer is just a simple mini-DisplayPort to mini-DisplayPort cable!

  • Cooling off period for BT Infinity?

    Hi all,
I will be having BT Infinity installed next week - I am very concerned that the product is not going to be up to scratch and I don't wish to pay £300 plus in charges to migrate back to my previous provider.
So, does BT Infinity offer a 7 day cooling off period?
    If not, why not?
    Regards
    Nigel

Distance selling contracts are those which are concluded (you making your order and the retailer / e-tailer confirming your order) exclusively by ‘means of distance communication’. They cover websites, mail order catalogues and all advertising literature (whether addressed or junk mail) and broadcasts communicated via post, email, the internet, fax, TV or telephone (including pre-recorded messages).
If you have physically met face to face at any point, or if it is with a shop which doesn’t make a habit of selling in this way, you won’t be covered and should look to Sale of Goods legislation instead.
Under the distance selling regulations, the goods must be delivered or the service carried out within the time period they have specified. If no time period is specified, then the statutory time limit is 30 days (unless you have agreed otherwise). If the supplier is unable to fulfil their obligations within 30 days, they must inform you before the end of the 30 day deadline. They may offer you an alternative date for delivery, but you are under no obligation to accept and are quite within your rights to ask for a full refund.
The 30 days just means if they haven't installed it. That is the consumer law.

  • What is activation locked means regarding icloud? im selling my iphone 4s online and i have a buyer that is asking me to reset my icloud so he would have no problem with it when he buy it.

im selling my phone online and i have a buyer that is asking me if the phone is not activation locked? and if im the first owner of the phone? and if he activate it will he be able to update it and will the phone work?
i answered him that i never used my icloud cos the fact that icloud gives only 5gb free storage. im not gonna be able to sync all my data. and i told him that i reset the phone like its new. and i never updated it on iOS7 when i was using it.
is he going to have a problem activating the phone? isnt it when you reset the phone youre pretty much have like a new device nothing is installed nothing is logged in? sorry for the ignorance.

Follow these instructions before selling your phone to avoid any problems:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5661
Then confirm to the buyer that you have done all that. He/she will be safe in the knowledge that the phone is wiped and not locked or anything else.

  • A Question regarding hard drive when selling Power Mac G5 tower

    Hello,
I have a 2004 Power Mac G5 tower that I'm trying to sell and will be taking out the hard drive before I ship as I don't want to reformat the drive(I'd rather keep the physical drive with me). Are there any other precautionary steps that I need to take in order to prevent the buyer from retaining any of my data on the computer? Do components like the motherboard, video card, ram or the processor retain any of my data?
Or will taking out the hard drive the only thing I need to do?
I've never sold a used computer to anyone before so I guess I'm a little OCD about it.
    Thanks in advance,
    J

Thank you for the info, Matt.
Actually the very last time I used the computer was the time it died on me so it wasn't powered off properly and I have not been able to use it since. Does the data in RAM clear itself regardless of how it was turned off? From what you have told me I'm guessing that whenever there is no power in the system the RAM is cleared regardless, am I correct?
    Thanks again,
    J

  • Open letter to Cisco regarding the UC320 platform

    Cisco,
I have never in my life been exposed to a "production" piece of equipment with so many bugs, missing features and oddities as the UC320. While I am sure many of you are working hard to reign in the problems, this platform is an utter embarrassment that should be in the preliminary alpha stages, not a channel product being sold to end users.
It is clear that Cisco has little understanding of how SMALL business works and how SMALL partners work with small business customers. A larger partner may be able to string a larger business along with promises of bug fixes and feature additions while charging them to make things right and.or padding the overall cost to account for the callbacks. True small businesses don't have the time, patience or money to deal with problematic hardware. When a partner sells a small business a piece of technology, it better work (at a reasonable cost) or the technology and the partner are out the door.
I was extremely excited when this system was announced and saw great potential for small business customers and an alternative to the Avaya Partner IP and other platforms targeted at the same demographic. I jumped in and put a UC320 in the office of one of my small customers. This whole experience has cost me the trust of a client and is going to end up costing me $3000-$4000 out of pocket (hardware, labor, travel) to make things right with the customer.
As it stands, countless hours have been spent trying to get this system to operate in a reasonably stable and productive manner. At this time the UC320 system has been reset and reconfigured in KEY mode (this time using 2.1.3(0), as the problems with steering digits, call routing and redial in "hybrid mode" made the system more than a little cumbersome to use. Now in KEY mode, caller ID only works on some stations AFTER a call is picked up. On one station, incoming calls are somehow routed to the "Phone Monitor" buttons instead of the "Shared FXO Line" buttons. The user has to press the monitor button to pick up a call, but the call does not always ring at the station so she has to watch for the lights. While the caller ID functionality is a bit better after the latest firmware update, it is still far from working properly. These basic call routing problems are not reasonable and not acceptable, period. The customer is tired of "we are working on it" and so am I.
Other problems (to mention a few):
The GUI is full of buggy behavior. One example if many: The impendence matching dialog only works the first time around and then the GUI loses track of what it is doing and must be reset.
It takes 7-10 minutes for the GUI to load to the login screen over a remote connection. The UC320 is connected to a Verizon DSL, while not blazing fast it is a decent connection. Initial GUI loading on the LAN is almost as bad.
The IE9 product that ships with every new Windows computer is not compatible with the GUI. This is not reasonable.
The AA is somewhat unpredictable with regard to picking up calls and sometimes results in a busy tone and dropped call, even if the call is the ONLY call on the system. Sometimes the prompts are garbled and sometimes the AA does not even pick up.
Steering digit redial issue - still not addressed. Redial on hybrid mode is useless, as is the phonebook.
Caller ID only works part of the time, yet on every other system I have ever used, it works 100% of the time. This is not acceptable.
Answered calls on shared FXO lines show as MISSED on other stations with those lines. The workaround: remove the missed calls display feature. This is not acceptable.
Thus UC320 is not happy unless it is the only router, DHCP and DNS client on the LAN. The grayfield implementation appears to fail no matter what LAN topology and equipment are used. This device is far from friendly to the typical SBS or existing LAN with a dedicated DNS and/or DHCP server.
The handsets have a cheap feel to them compared to the Avaya and other competitors phones.
The sound quality of the ringtones is almost laughable if not sad
The speakerphone quality and overall voice quality are not as good as the competition's.
The filtering functionality of the logging feature does not appear to work properly
Firmware updates often result in a HANG condition where either the GUI needs reset, the system needs a physical reset and/or sometimes defaulted
Firewall port forwarding rule oddities where a rule is deleted from the gui but is still active in the firewall, yet the inability to easily use another data router to work around this problem.
The inability of the device to properly use the LAN port for INTERNET based functionality (Time for example) if the WAN port is NOT connected,
countless other 'issues" raised in the support forum and other venues...
These are ALL very basic functions that one would expect to be fixed BEFORE a basic telephone system platform is released for production. It is absolutely unreasonable for a CUSTOMER to have to put up with a system this buggy and it is absolutely unreasonable for a partner to have to devote this much time and money to getting system to work at even a very basic level of functionality.
To repeat the scenario: This config is as basic as it gets running 2.1.3(0) with (3) system phones, (3) users, (2) pots trunks and that's it. There are no odd call routing scenarios, no complex AA rules or schedules (in fact the AA is defaulted, including prompts). All (3) system phones have BOTH shared FXO lines (KEY MODE). Each and every firmware version has been tried and the system has been defaulted numerous times. The system fails to meet even the most basic expectations of myself or the end user and has become a sore spot between our company and a very good client.
I am somewhat baffled, if not outright bothered by the fact that this device is riddled with so many problems and the fixes are taking so long to be implemented, if at all. I have been asked (ordered) by the customer to get this "hunk of crap" out of their office and replace it with something that works "at no additional cost". I could not agree with the customer more...
    A very unhappy Cisco Partner.
    William Burnett

    To William (and Cisco,)
    Honestly, I like Cisco.
I like their  "openess" (you can find documentation and help on almost anything  anywhere), the contribution they make to industry by their huge R&D  effort (more than all their competition combined....or so I've been  told...), the accessibility and responsiveness of some of their key  people in the distribution channel, and yes, I like the ecosystem in  terms of support, tons of free education and sales support for both  their SMB and classic enterprise solutions.
Having said that, I thank God for people like William  Burnett, who I am sure opened the eyes of many partners about the things  that are horrendously wrong with some of the products in the SMB  portfolio, most notably the UC320. I think it is fair to say, that  William has effectively "killed" it (the UC320) in it's present  incarnation. That is, unless Cisco, decides to really rise to the  challenge and fix a product that at first seemed ideal for the small  enterprise, but which was poorly implemented in terms of QC and in some  cases design.
We certainly are not going to be touching the UC320  with a 10ft pole now Nobody wants (or can afford to) get a bad name by  selling "trouble" to your Mom&Pop shops or to people whose trust you  worked hard to gain and who are really depending on you to deliver. Not  in this economy....not ever.
Coming from a Nortel telephony background, its really  hard to accept that having to respond to trouble calls or complaints  continuously from customers when Nortel products worked so reliably. In  fact, Nortel Norstar is so reliable as a key system that people joke ,  that's why they went out of business, they couldn't generate enough  turnover in new sales on account of people holding on to their Norstar's  forever.
As a seller/installer/user of Cisco voice (UC540) and CME there are a couple recommendations I would like to make to Cisco:
1)Private line emulation - inability to transfer or conference calls on a private line.  (using the TRUNK XX command) on the CME/UC500 platforms needs to be  significantly improved in order to keep up with the competition:
for  one, when you select a private line and make a call you cannot transfer  that call. Every other system I have worked with allows you to do this.  This for me is a glaring "defect/design flaw". I spent a lot of time  trying to get this "fixed" as I couldnt believe that Cisco would just  omit such a basic function when all their competition  has it. (You dont  even think about this when dealing with other systems.) Its just  expected.
2)Private line emulation - Inability to reflect the dialed number in the Call Detail Records for calls made via a "private line". If you select a private line on the UC500 or  CME and make a call, the dialed number would not show up in the CDR. I  have programmed systems from Nortel (Norstar, BCM,CS1000), Avaya - (IP  Office 500, Partner Plus, and S8x00 Communication Servers) as well as  various systems from Mitel and
Panasonic .  The CDR packages for these systems are very well implemented and  documented. Cisco's systems are well documented as well, but this is an  area of the implementation where Cisco falls behind the competition. I am sure this can be fixed, but for some reason, despite a number of requests, it hasnt.
In  trying to understand why it is Cisco, with such a huge R&D budget,  can't seem to get some things working properly that the competiton has  long ago solved and moved on with, I have come to the conclusion that it  must be that Cisco propably didnt tap enough of the right (human)  resources when it was developing its voice portfolio, and the lack of  industry experience shows up in some random places. Sad to say, not  paying attention to some of these details, to real world usage  scenarios, makes what would be an otherwise super product, just good  enough.
Cisco is the biggest networking vendor on  the planet. People have a right to have high exectations of Cisco. Their  marketing also conditions users and partners to expect more when using  their solutions. While we accept that no one is perfect, not even the  mighty Cisco, I think most of the complaints and dissapointment  expressed in this forum, on this particular thread, are justified  because there is a strong feeling that if Cisco can be such a  trailblazer with their enterprise portfolio, that they should have  understood the importance of ensuring and enforcing good quality control  in the design and manufacture of the SMB portfolio. I honestly hope  someone from "Corporate" or high enough to make a differnce, looks at  this thread started by William and uses it to inspire the will to fix  what needs to be fixed to redeem the UC320 in whatever incarnation, in  the eyes of its partners (even former ones....such as William)and  customers. This is beginning to look like a textbook case of how not to  do product development.

  • Excise invoice number range - for selling to SEZ

    Dear All,
While creating excise invoice for selling in SEZ unit, Excise invoice type is taking Deemed instead of LOU.  Because of this system is asking to allocate number range using J_1IEXLOC number object. Series group is 12 for EXPORT. As selling to SEZ is export under LoUwe would like to use number range in combination series group 12 and   number object J_1IEXCEXP which is already maintained for export under LoU.
Please give solution as soon as possible.
    Regards,
    Sagar

    Dear Sagar,
Because in case of SEZ, they get a special status by the Tax authorities in which various Tax scenarios doesn't come into picture, they can be a export oriented org and so get exempted from duties like Excise etc in normal scenarios but the SAP system picks the number range object J_1IEXLOC or J_1IEXCEXP based on your ship to party..and some other factors...so obviously in deemed export your ship to party will be within India, check with your ABAPer...that is why in case of deemed export J_1IEXLOC is getting picked by the system.
In case you want to change..you need to write a exit..say for these kind of customers..maintain a seperate customer group..and from that system should check which number range object should be picked.
    Thanks,
    N

  • Open letter to Verizon regarding Tab 7.7 ICS Update

Note: This is a copy of an e-mail I submitted to Verizon Wireless regarding my Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE tablet, in order to ensure that Verizon receives the communication and to share the concern with the community which has substantially discussed the issue.  If this violates the content regulations of Verizon's forums, accept my apologies -- I have never been clear on the guidelines.
    Dear Verizon Wireless,
The primary purpose of writing is to notify you that I will be withholding 75% of my payment on the data plan for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, in light of Verizon's degradation of service on this device.  Upon purchasing the device in June, I was told that it would be receiving the Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" (ICS) system update.  By that point, ICS had been released from Google for nearly eight months.  In August, Verizon began updating its branded LTE tablets in earnest, but it was not until early October that the ICS update for the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE was formally announced.  After a failed update push, Verizon has been silent on any plans for the past two months.  Its response to a discussion on this topic in the Verizon Online Community was to simply remove comments and shut down the discussion without answering any of the community questions.
Most apps in the Android Market now require ICS or later.  The Google Nexus 7 tablet, a comparable tablet to the 7.7, is now shipping with Android 4.2, a full two major revisions past the version Verizon has yet to deploy to the Tab 7.7.  Additionally, I personally have experienced increasing instability with the tablet, with the network failing and requiring a manual restart multiple times a week.
At whatever time Verizon successfully updates my device to ICS, I will happily return to paying my bill in full.  Additionally, I am more than willing to discuss this with a Verizon agent to come to a better resolution.  However, given Verizon's current response of ignoring the problem and providing no explanation, and continuing to offer a degraded service below that which was promised upon purchase, I must take this step in an attempt to protect my interests.
Again, I would much prefer an amicable solution to this situation.  Please feel free to call me on my Verizon phone number to discuss this.

In regards to this, I'm going to post excerpts of a post I placed in another thread with additional research about update timelines, Verizon's extremely loose interpretation of the word "soon", and the despicable service provided to owners of this tablet, as it relates to the specifics of this thread's topic. I am also including significant additional information relating my attempts to acquire additional information.
I purchased the Galaxy 7.7 in April this year. Like most (if not all) others, I bought it with the promise of an update to ICS soon. At this time, eight months later, I, like the vast majority of owners, am still on 3.2 (Honeycomb). Honeycomb does not support many of the apps I use, and more developers drop support for it every day, as its device presence percentage drops close to that of Cupcake and Donut (Android 1.5 and 1.6) and has already sunk below Eclair (Android 2.1), according tohttp://developer.android.com/about/dashboards/index.html (This is a direct link to Google's own site, where they publish such information; last sample conducted over 14 days ending Nov 1, 2012).
...My local Verizon corporate store is selling the tablet with ICS pre-loaded. This means the software not only exists, but has been successfully deployed to retail units.
...The original Droid only took four months to get the 2.1 update, and the 2.2 update followed five months later in August of 2009. Keep in mind, these updates were being developed between these pushes, with 2.2 only being announced by Google in May of '09. That is 3 months from announcement to deployment. ...
Our Galaxy Tab 7.7's have now waited 13 months since the release of 4.0 by Google and still are not up to date. I'll permit Verizon the few months that they did not have the tablet, but this reduces the delay to "only" 9 months, two to three times longer than it took for other devices to be upgraded. Oh, and we're still waiting on the update. It might be suggested I'm being unfair at this point by comparing a dual-core highly advanced tablet with a much older, single-core phone that came out while Verizon had far fewer smartphones to maintain, so I'm also going to compare it to the Motorola XOOM, a contemporary device with similar hardware and software at release.
The Motorola XOOM was released February of 2011 as an incomplete project, again with the word "Soon" attached to those missing features. It took 6 months (August) to receive the SD card update. Similar to the original Droid, though, the update was only made available from Google in June, meaning it only took two months for Verizon to deploy the upgrade once it was released by Google. The LTE upgrade came out just a month later in September, seven months after the launch of the tablet. This delay could, theoretically, be pinned on Motorola, but my suspicion is that it originates with Verizon. Android 4.0 took seven months from the date it was published by Google (November 2011) to be released to Verizon XOOM owners (June 2012).
Galaxy Tab 7.7 early adopters have now waited an extraordinary nine months since their tablet was launched for their "Soon" to be fulfilled, and there's no end to the wait in sight as Verizon actively avoids communicating with their customers on the matter.
Explanations can do quite a bit to quell customer anger, as can simply finishing the update and publishing it.  We've received neither, and the existence of the updated software on new units being sold adds rather grievous insult to dysfunctional software that has become an injury to those who rely on this equipment to function.  I feel this is paramount to telling us that we, as existing customers, simply do not matter.
I have two further pieces of information to add that were not in my original post.  Today I contacted both Samsung and Verizon Wireless about this matter, directly.  The Samsung rep was, unfortunately, either incompetent or completely uninformed.  Nice, polite, but unable to provide any relevant information due to either Samsung's rules or training, or lack of personal knowledge.  The Verizon rep was far, far worse.  I'm a very polite person when speaking (I'm in sales, I have to be, even to people who are being rude), and I didn't even get a third of the way into describing the issue before I was being interrupted by this defensive, crass individual.  When I finally managed to get her to listen to my problem, her response after a minute of typing on her computer was that it was "currently available" and "[she] has no way to push it to my device" and "[I] have to wait for the network to push it".  I very calmly explained to her that the documentation she was looking at was from October (she acknowledged spotting this on the documentation once I pointed it out), that the update never came through and was pulled due to issues, and that I knew both methods of forcing the tablet to check for updates.  She then claimed that a coworker had handed her a Tab 7.7 running 3.2 and that it was the "current version" and that Verizon had never offered an upgrade to 4.0, in direct opposition to her earlier statements and my own eyes.  This...farce went on for nearly twenty minutes before I ended the call.
It was the most insulting, rude customer service I have received in years.  I felt like I was being talked to like one would address an errant child, not a paying customer.  The last time I was treated this way by a cellular carrier, I left them, switching from Sprint to Verizon.  Unfortunately, I am stuck on Verizon at this point due to unlimited data and hotspot on my personal line, and extraordinarily heavy personal usage, but I have no such motivation to have a 3G/4G tablet through them.  I prefer it due to battery concerns, but an extended battery and larger phone are worth the cost of never having to deal with Verizon's spectacularly awful treatment of their tablet customers ever again.
Even though they're keeping my account, it's shrinking by two tablet lines.

  • I want to transfer all my iPhoto, iTunes, contacts, etc. files from my MacBook, which I am selling to a MacBook Pro. What is the easiest and safest method of achieving this? Can the files backed up on Time Machine be transferred to the Pro?.

I want to transfer all my iPhoto, iTunes, contacts, documents, etc. files from my MacBook, which I am selling, to a MacBook Pro. What is the easiest and safest method of achieving this? Can the files backed up on Time Machine from the MacBook be transferred to the Pro in some way? I would like to capture the files as they appear on the MacBook, such as "Events" in iPhoto and the various song categories within iTunes without having to rename them all once saved on the Pro, which is the case with photos when I simply save them to thumb drive and import them to the Pro. Sny advice would be appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Rob.

    Michael,
Thanks for all your assistance. There is no need for apologies, Migration Assistant did indeed create a second account for the MacBook data. It has just taken me some time to figure out how to access it. I now have all the MB data in one account and the MBP files in another, which suits me fine. In fact, it is an advantage in my case as it keeps the private and business aspects separated.
I will however try the fatcatsoftware to transfer all the iPhoto files to my iMac, where I keep my main photo library. and it will be of help to keep the events, etc in the transfer. As far as iTunes is concerned, I have HomeSharing on all my computers and this has obviated the need to worry about playlists being transferred successfully. However, HomeSharing did not appear to share the iPhone/iPod apps that were stored on the MB and although these have now come across with the new MacBook account on the MBP, I was wondering whether my iPhone and iPod will be recognised by the MBP and sync with it? Will I need to have the MB account open to achieve this or will the MBP recognise and sync with the iPhone/iPod automatically irrespective of which account is open?
Thanks for the tip on deauthorising my iTunes account from the MB before sellng. This I will do and I believe the best way to remove all of my data from the hard drive is to reinstall the MacOSX operating system software. Is this the right approach to securely delete everything?
Thanks again for sharing your expertise and your guidance through this exercise.
    Best regards,
    Rob.

  • Regarding Consignment Issue

    Hi Friends,
I have a question regarding consignment issue. During the consignment fill up I have entered a material (machine) that is configurable and also assigned a serial number to it. Now when I try to create an order (consignment issue) and enter the corresponding serial number tied up to the machine in Consignment fillup, the system is taking just the higher level item of the BOM. The BOM is not getting exploded in the order. Can anyone please suggest where I can control. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
    Sunny.

    Hi
I don't think it will b exploded in Consignment Issue as it has already exploded in Consignment fill up. Consignment issue means what selling the stock which is at consignee's place so it dose not have to b exploded. u carr on like that and see what is the flow if it is ok then go on otherwise u let me know the problem.
    Thanks
    Mastan
