Regarding deploy EAR on weblogc server 10.3.5 version problem
Hi,
I am using JDeveloper Studio 11.1.1.2.0 and weblogic server 10.3.2 and windows 32 bit machine.I have created EAR on 32 bit machine and Deploy on 64 bit machine,EAR is working not an issue in an Application
but when i am using weblogic server 10.3.5 and deploy 32bit EAR then my application is not working.
So please help me.
Thanks
Anup
If you want to run your app on a WLS10.3.5 (32 bit or 64 bit) you have to build it using Jdev 11.1.1.5.0 or 11.1.1.6.0 depending on the ADF runtime you installed on the WLS 10.3.5.
A JDev 11.1.12.0 application can't run on a wls 10.3.5 as you can't install the adf runtime 11.1.1.2.0 on this server. Check http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/09/14/jdeveloper-versions-vs-weblogic-server-versions/ for more info on hte different jdev versions which can run on hte different wls versions.

How to deploy EAR on CE server using Java Support Package Manager
Hello,
I am using CE server where I want to deploy EAR file by using JSPM. I run this program in Drive:\usr\sap\CE1\J00\j2ee\JSPM\go.bat
I have also put the EAR file into the inbox folder Drive:\usr\sap\CE1\SYS\EPS\in but still It does not show me any file to proceed further for deployment.
Does any one has idea?
Regards,
NKHi,
The Java Support Package Manager is not able to deploy a single .ear file.
If the *.EAR file is placed inside an SCA (Software Component Archive) then JSPM is able to deploy it.
You have to create a .SCA from an .EAR file
SAP note 1223957 contains an attachment (nwpacktool.zip) which can be used to create a .SCA file from the .EAR file.

Exception while to deploy ear at managed server
I have a wli cluster version 8.1 sp3. It has two nodes. The node that is hosted in a machine different machine from admin server displayes a message
javax.management.InvalidAttributeValueException: Unable to create path to /appl/webbus/bea/user_projects/domains/MY_DOMAIN/./adminServer/upload/xxx/xxx.ear
whenever it starts. But the application seems to starts correctly.
This node has different path than the other.
It is /appl/<b>webdbus</b>/bea/user_projects/
I can not find anything relating in newsgroups. Can anyone explain me why this happens.Hi,
My suspicion about the exception is the it's caused by the different directory structure of the two nodes. As you can see at bold words, weblogic tries to create ear at a directory that does not exist at this node. It finds the latter <b>webbus</b> from the path of admin server at the other machine. My question is straightforwad, <b>Can we have different paths at cluster nodes ?</b> In this case, <b>Should we deploy ear (webservice application) in a different way ?</b>

Problem deploying EAR to weblogic server
Hi everyone
I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 and have deployed an ADF Fusion app to weblogic 10.3.4.
I manage to deploy it but when I go to start it I get the following exception

I have looked on the forum and can't seem to find anything.
Any help you offer is greatly appreciatedI could not find those files anywhere but maybe I was looking in the wrong place. I go to application properties and then deployment and then the profile I created but I searched everywhere and nowhere do those 2 jar files even appear, not even an unchecked checkbox or something
So maybe I was in the wrong place but I checked the project properties as well....
I will look through it again and the web inf file but just dont know where those jars could be...
Maybe it is the Web inf file, because I know you can include that although Im pretty sure I excluded it on both the project and application deployment properties... -

Read the version of deployed EAR modules via JMX (WLS 10.0)
Hello
We are deploying some EAR components into a WLS 10.0. Now we want to monitor the version number of the deployed EARs via a JMX client. The version number is provided in the manifest of the EAR (Implementation-Version).
I read through some JMX related documents by BEA and searched the web, but I could not find any information on how to read the version.
Does anybody know how to do that or where to look in order to get the version numbers of the deployed components via JMX? Do I have to write my own MBean offering this version attribute?
Every hint is welcomed!
Thanks
Toni
Edited by: user10451156 on Oct 21, 2008 10:53 AMHi, Toni.
The input must be a externally provided version number, if you have no access to write manifest entries, or to the deployment process.
If this version number is already set in the ear file, you can use this process inside your custom mbean (an elaboration of Benoit's suggestion)
1 look up the application component from JMX
* http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs100/wlsmbeanref/mbeans/AppDeploymentMBean.html
2 obtain the path of the ear file
3 open a JarURLConnection to this ear
* http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/net/JarURLConnection.html
4 read the implementation version, which was already provided.
* http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/util/jar/Attributes.Name.html#IMPLEMENTATION_VERSION
Sadly, this won't pop-up on the WLS console, you'd have to write or use a custom extension to do that.
* https://wls-console-extensions.projects.dev2dev.bea.com/
I hope this helps.

How to deploy sdows.ear on weblogic server?
I am not able to deploy Spatial Web Services (sdows.ear) on weblogic server (WebLogic Server 10.3.3.0).
I get an error regarding class 'oracle.spatial.ws.logger' not being found.
Please help.
regards.Hello,
Although we don't support incremental deployment
to other App Servers, you can export a WAR file.
In the Project Navigator, select the Project , right-click
and choose context menu, "Export WAR File"

In my case simple setting the following fields from the tab 'Server Start': Java Home and Classpath resolved problem.

USB ports detached on the inside
I have a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6965. The two USB ports on the right (next to each other) have somehow become detached on the inside -- I can still see them in there, but they're not aligned properly with the slots, so I can't insert a thumb drive.
