Regarding group TITLE and groupheader

Please check the below code;

The TITLE in the group element ie EMPLOYE DETAILS is replaced by the image i am using in groupheader.
I need to show both of these in the group header..may be we can show the TITLE at left corner and IMAGE at right corner of the header..
How To do this?

You can control the sorting by placing a [...] tag in the Marker Text, such as:

The term(s) in the brackets are used only for sort. What appears in the Index is the following text.
Or you can just edit the Marker Text.

Htmlb:group - title instead of htmlb:groupHeader
When you use a htmlb:Group, there are two ways to add text to the group header. You can use

or
<htmlb:group>
<htmlb:groupHeader>
<htmlb:textView text="hello" />
</htmlb:groupHeader>
I'd like to change from the first variant to the second, because I want to add a link to the group-header.
Unfortunately, the header is a little higher if you use the secont variant. Is there a way to overcome this problem? Can I make the groupHeader as small as the title?

One way would be to use a <htmlb:findAndReplace> element around your troubling elements and simply replace the HTML code you want to change.
Of course you would have to check that every time you do some SP upgrade, so no very elegant ...
(but it's a way)

I backed up my entire photo collection to a flashdrive.. After they downloaded, all my photo's got grouped together, and I lost all my individule events and titles of pictures.. Is there a way to get back my groups and titles? Thanks
To back up everything you must backup everything - ie back up the entire iPhoto library as a single entity
And it must be on a volume formatted Mac OS extended (journaled). Flash drives typically are not. They usually are a FAT format which will not work
Exactly how did you do the backup and what format is your flash drive

If I try to export a handful of images at the same time, the title and caption is stripped out at export. This happens on 5, 15 or 50 images. If I export them one by one the information is retained. It seems to me that only the first or one image can retain it's title and caption.
Does anyone know why and how to fix this?
LR 5.2 on Windows 7.Very strange. Haven't heard of any similar reports, so it doesn't sound like a very common problem. Maybe try resetting your preferences file, but if that doesn't work all I can suggest is to raise the problem at the official Adobe feedback site.

Showing Title and date/time info in exported file
I am trying to export a group of photos into a file to then compress and e mail. How do I get the title and date/time info for each photo to export as well and be a part of the file?
You'll need to upgrade to iPhoto 08 or later to write that metadata to the file on export.

Hallo , my question is ;whenever I delete a photo and restore it through Time machine and Western digital external hard drive , I am able to restore the photo but not the titles and descriptions . Western Digital inform me that it isn't their external hard drive problem and suggest that it is an Apple software problem ?
I am using a Macbook 4.1 , with Mac OSX 10.5.8 . I photo 7.1.5 , last modifie4d 01/05/2010 -universal . Should I be upgrading Iphoto ?
I hope that someone is able to help in this matter , as i have to restore 12000 photos !

I am not quite ready to restore the full iphoto library , as I have days of work re - imputting titles,descriptions and enhancement . I hope that your suggestion works , as I use my Macbook basically to work with digital photography. Through time , I will need to delete my library to recover more disc space and I would hate to have to spend more time re - imputting titles and descriptions all over again .

How do I get the book title and author to appear on all pages?
I'm trying to create a new layout, and I can't quite figure out some of the auto-text boxes.
I'd like the book title, and author to appear at the top of the pages.
Also, I'd like the chapter title to be at the top of the page for the subsequent chapter pages, but not in the same size as the chapter title at the beginning of the chapter.
I've tried copying the chapter text box in layouts, then applying it to the chapter pages. However, when I reformat the copied box for text size and orientation, the reformat effects all instances of that text box. Grr.
(I know this all sounds like too much text and garbage on each page, but it's for an instructional piece that people will likely print a page or two at a time)Hello Andy,
Have you looked at the Layout Section.
If it is not visible pull down the handle and the master pages are there down the list for you to add and change.
Just first duplicate any page that you may want to change and then add the name and author titles to that page and press "APPLY"

Group Titles not working in Marker lists
Framemaker 7.2
I've created a special alphabetical list of markers, using a custom name for the marker. The list generates just fine and I have the page formated as I want, except for the need to add group titles.
I created, on the resource page, a GroupTitlesAML paragraph format. The line on the resource page looks like:
Symbols[\ ];Numerics[0];A;B;C;D;E;F;G;H;I;J;K;L;M;N;O;P;Q;R;S;T;U;V;W;X;Y;Z
But it is completely ignored.
Are group titles even available for marker index lists, or only for actual index markers? In other words, is GroupTitlesIX only available with files that have the IX suffix?
I also noticed that doing something like "<Emphasis>maker text<Default Para Font> more marker text" is ignored, in that all of the text appears in the marker list. The special text is not even parsed as special text.Video Senior,
Michael is correct. If you want an index, then create an index of markers (IOM), NOT an alphabetical list of markers (AML). A list, being a list, does not have group titles, there being no grouping in a list. Thus, the GroupTitlesAML is meaningless for a list.
I have a user-defined marker called warning. I also create an index of my warning markers (IOM). Although I do not group them under group titles, the IOM reference page does have a GroupTitlesIOM line that basically groups them all together.
So, create an index or markers, not a list or markers.

I would like to know the type of document attached whether PDF, JPG,TEXT file etc.
Ideally I could see these as an icons on the Attachment List window.
Here my requirement is i need to create a report program which lists the attachments information as below:

<Title2> Text or Notepad
<Title3> jpg or Image
How can i get this title and Attachment(document type) information.Can you suggest table or FM or Class/Method etc?

I got the answer.
There is a parameter OBJECT_HD_DISPLAY in the FM 'SO_OBJECT_READ' which i need to capture. This will contain the title and the doc type extension ( notepad - txt ; adobe - pdf etc ).This will solve my problem.

I want to export a group of JPEG photos including titles in the order in which they were taken. Checking the box to include titles and key words seems not to work.
You can not
exporting creates files - files have no order - the order is set by the program you use to view them - for example in the finder you can view files by the date created, date modified, size, alpha, etc
So to control the order when viewing in the finder you must have an attribute that the finder can sort on set - the most common way to export photos in a specific order is to make an album in iphoto in the order you want and then export the album using the sequential naming option of the export command - then view them in the finder using a alpha sort - Exporting From iPhoto
However since you want to retain your existing title that will not work for you -

Problem in creating group above AND group left in one report!
Hi all,
I need a report that is a combination of group above and group
left.
Suppose I have 3 table (Emp, Sales, Product):
Emp Table has 2 column
- Emp_PK
- Emp_Name
Sales Table has 4 column
-Sales_PK
-Sales_Date
-Emp_FK
-Produck_FK
-Quantity
Product Table has 3 column
-Product_PK
-Product_Name
-Product_Price
I want to make Employee Sales Report For The Month that will
look like this:
Emp Number___: Emp_PK
Emp Name_____: Emp_Name
Sales Date______Product_Name____Quantity \(2 sales
________________Product_Name____Quantity /the date)
Sales_Date______Product_Name____Quantity
As you can see this consist of group above (The Employee) and
group left (The Sales and Product).
I create this by using 2 queries and link them (the Emp_PK from
1st query and Emp_FK from 2nd query) on the report builder using
data link.
The first query is:
Select Emp_PK, Emp_Name from Emp
The second query is
Select Emp_FK, Sales_Date, Product_Name, Quantity
From Sales, Product
Where Product_PK=PRODUCT_FK
I then create the layout for second query and choose group left
for Sales_Date using wizard and I create additional layout to
for the employee.
The problem is that when I run this report, it will print ALL
the employee record first (including employee who has NOT sale
anything) and then on the last page it will print the record of
Last employee on the Emp table and ALL sales record (including
those that is done by other employee).
This report will run correctly if I choose an exact employee
(For example by adding Where Emp_PK=1111 in the first query) to
report all of the sales done by this person (employee with emp
number of 1111). However I need the report to run and print
ONLY those employee who has Sales Records!
I thought that by linking the 2 queries in Data Model, it will
have the same effect as linking using the WHERE clause in query.
If suppose I create a query like this:
SELECT Emp_PK, Emp_Name, Sales_Date, Product_Name, Quantity
FROM Emp, Sales, Product
WHERE Emp_PK=Emp_FK AND Product_PK=Product_FK
The report will run OK but I can only choose EITHER group above
or group left for this ONE query methods in report Wizard.
Sorry if it is a long question but I hope you can see what I am
trying to do.

single report.
you might want to use the INSERT REPORT BLOCK instead of the
report wizard, as the report wizard only allows you to use one
report layout per report, where the report block wizard (invoked
by INSERT REPORT BLOCK) allows you to choose on a per-block
basis.
of course you can create the blocks completely from scarth by
hand, if you want to.
