Regarding infotype 0580 (It's contain the prevoius year date )

Dear Friends,
I am using the infotype 0580(Preveoius emplyee tax detail) but in that infotype to date field contain the wrong date it's contain the previous year date and also this to date field is disabled mode also we not able to change the date .It's gives the error End date precedes start date .
Kindly guide me from where it taking the previous year date from the configuration .

Hi,
The IT 0580, actually works on fiscal year, that is the reason its showing previous year date, let me know the emp joining in current fiscal year or previous fiscal year...
If the emp joins in the Mid of fiscal year, the IT0580 shows "to date as disabled".
please check the dates, its a game of dates only....
Hope you can find the sol within the IT.

I have filled the set up tables for 2LIs_11_VAITM for the g iven number range for Doc.No.(which is up to 02 Jan 2008)
Unfortunately the records were missing in the months of Nov and Dec 2007.. The missing Doc. Nos are with in the range..
If I see the LIS Log, I can see the end date is Aug. 2007(31.08.2007). Does it make any difference in getting the data..

Dates -- Pulling the last year data!, which should'nt be the case.

Iam supposed to pull the data based on a date column(end_time) -- Yesterday 3PM untill Today's 3PM.
Iam getting last year's data too in additon to Current Data.

Date math, 1 = 1 day 1 / 24 = 1 hour, trunc with no date format gives midnight
Try this.
select a.* from table a where
a.action_end_time between trunc(sysdate) + (15 * 1 / 24)
and trunc(sysdate - 1) + (15 * 1 / 24) In your example you are comparing strings, not dates.

Highlighting the most recent date in a row

hi all
I have a series of 5 dates in a row. I would like to be able to highlight only the cell containing the most recent date (in respect to the current date) in each row.
There will be instances when there is no date in some of the cells.

Jason is correct. It requires two tables.
I had started experimenting with this last night, but an outage at my ISP prevented posting at that time.
Conditional formatting of a cell depends on comparing the value in that cell with a fixed value contained in the rule; the rule itself cannot reference a different cell to pick up the comparison value. So you need to calculate a value in a cell on a second table, apply conditional formatting to that cell, and place it directly behind the cell containing the date to be highlighted.
Example:
Dates are in cells B7 to F7 of Table 1
Cell H1 is used to select the maximum date.
Table 2 is a single row table with no row or column header cells, and only 5 columns.
Select Table 1, open the Inspector, and use the Table inspector to set Cell Background to “None”
In Cell H1 enter: =MAX(B7:F7)
Go Insert > Table > Plain
Resize the new table (Table 2) to 1 row x 5 columns.
In A1 of Table 2, enter: =DATEDIF(Table 1::B7,Table 1::$H7,"D")
Drag the handle at the lower right of the cell to copy the formula into all five cells.
Click on A1.
Open the Inspector and choose the Cell Format inspector.
Check the Conditional Format checkbox, then click Show rules...
Set the rule to “Equal to... 0”
Choose a Fill colour to serve as your highlight colour.
Click on the next cell and repeat.
When you have applied the rule to all five cells, close the Conditional Format dialogue.
Choose all five cells. Open the Text inspector.
Click on the colour well.
Leave the text colour set at Black, but move the Opacity slider to 0%.
Close the Inspector and the Colors dialogue.
Select Table 2 and drag it into position covering the five cells with dates on Table 1. Use the Arrow keys to nudge it into exact alignment.
Go Arrange > Send Backward to move Table 2 behind Table 1. Repeat until you can see the dates on Table 1.

Perhaps the best way is a self-join, where you act like one table (c in the example) containes the current year's data, and another table (p) contains the previous year's data, if any.

Customer Exit for Calendar Month based on the day (system Date)

Hello,
I need help in creating a customer exit for Calendar month without the user input. The logic is as follows:
For the BEx variable created with customer exit option and no user input:
If the day on the system date falls in between 1 to 14 take the calendar year/month value as previous month.
If the day on the system date falls in between 15 through 31 then take the calendar year/month as current month.
eg if report is run on March 24th2009 the calendar year/month variable should be calculated as 03/2009 (March 2009)
if the report is run on March 1st2009 the calendar year/month should be calculated as 02/2009 (Feb 2009).
The code should be effective when run in the first 15 days of Jan when the previous month would contain the previous year as well.

Extending the fiscal year

Forum,
It is likely that we are changing our financial year end on one company from 31st April to 31st August, the only viable way to account for this is to extend the year (rather than running a short year). Can you tell me what the procedure is for adding the extra 5 months to the end of this financial year?

Within talent management you are able to assign a person as high potential in the performance feedback document (by using the OSA application). When this has been done and approved the data can be written back to a High Potential talent group in Succession Management.
This or you can search directly for the high potential assignments via the search on appraisal document items also in Succession Management.
With Enhancement Package 1 several new functions are available to handle your high potential employees.

Custom Infotype - Using Table control in the screen. IN OM

I am having a requriement where in I need to create a custom infotype using table control in the screen. I have to create this in OM and I am using PPCI transaction to create the info type. I am able to create the infotype with fields but not table control. Please let me know if any one of you came across and help me with the process I need to follow.

After you create the info type throug PPCi, you can directly go to the Sceen module program created automatically while creating Info type and edit the screen.

How to know which hard drive contains the OS in Hp Pavilion dv7-4069wm? Upgrading.

I'm thinking about upgrading one of my hard drives (320GB ea) in my HP Pavilion dv7-4069wm laptop for more storage. I would like to keep the drive that contains the OS to avoid the hassle of making a copy, but I'm not sure which one that is. I haven't replaced a hard drive before, let alone a dual drive. I recently added more RAM and noticed both hard drives looked the same. Can anyone tell me how to know the difference? .

Which CD contains the EP Installation for SAP R/3 470-620 ?

I want to know which CD contains the EP installation for SAP R/3 47- 620, windows ,MS SQL server ?
I have gone through SAP documentation for EP 6.0 installation.
According to it, says that
1. To navigate to the J2EE Engine folder, on NetWeaver DVD, choose SAPINST > NT > I386.
Double-click sapinst.exe.
2. Navigate to SAP NetWeaver 04 Java System (J2EE only) > MS SQL Server > Central System > Custom Installation Java System and choose Next.
But I am unable to find the directory J2EE on my CD ?
Further my CD does have SAPINST.EXE, after excuting it the installation does not show option for Central System > Custom Installation Java System only matching option available is Central Instance .
If you have any experience , please share .

For JAVA installationyou need to use Netweaver DVDs and not 4.7 CDs. You need to install JAVA through Master Installation DVD ( in which you will find SAPINST.exe) and also make use of the JAVA DVD. Further for EP installation you will have to again make use of Master Installation DVD as well as JAVA DVD since the JAVA DVD has Netweaver Components also in it. Check you collection. You must have these DVDs in order to install EP 6.0. I hope you already have required JDK version on your installation machine.

Inbound CSV file containing the date in the name

Dear all,
I have a very small problem on the import file process.
I have configure a new SLD with the following pattern
pluton\edi\B1I_CCO\In\QC_ROUT_*.TXT (this is a DSV file).
I have defined a bizstep reading these files but the problem is that the file name contains the date.
I have read in the documentation that a function exists in B1i (page 14 of the Ref2).
So I have indicated as :
- Identification Method: File Name
- Identification Parameter : substring(filename,0,7)
- Identifier : QC_ROUT
But it does not work.
Do you notice something wrong in it?

Please find more explanation of using the "identification parameter" for file inbound in following segment:
Identification Method = u201C File Name u201D
The Scenario Step is subscribed to the incoming file in case the name of the file (without extension) is equal the string in the field Identifier. You can use the field Identification Parameter to define a substring. In this field you can define the position (e.g. 2) which triggers B1if to compare the filename from this position only or even position and length separated by comma (e.g. 2,3) which triggers B1if to compare this particular substring only. Sample: The file u201C test.xml u201D will trigger the Scenario Step in the following cases:
Identifier = u201C test u201D
Identifier = u201C est u201D and Identification Parameter = u201C 2 u201D
Identifier = u201C es u201D and Identification Parameter = u201C 2,2 u201D
please enter the following:
- Identification Method: File Name
- Identification Parameter : 1,7
- Identifier : QC_ROUT
De- and reactivate your scenario and it will be working as expected.

Firstly declare a select-option for material number.
write a select query specifying the required field and specify a where clause
as
WHERE MATNR IN S_MATNR.
Obviously you will select the records into internal table and so loop that internal table and display the records...
The records will be displayed on the basic list.
