Regarding Interactive report

Hi Experts,
I am creating one Interactive report, my output is 2 fileds only let's say
Col-A and Col-B
I want when i will click on Col-A i SE11 will come and When i click on Col-B SE38 will come.
Is it possible?
Urgent............

Hi,
Try this code
Variable 'fldname' will have the field name that you have clicked and 'fldval' will have its corresponding value.
Set parameter id is used to pass the value to the transaction if required.
AT LINE-SELECTION.
GET CURSOR FIELD fldname VALUE fldval.
  CASE fldname.
    WHEN 'COL-A'.
SET PARAMETER ID 'MAT' FIELD fldval.
CALL TRANSACTION 'SE11' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
    WHEN 'COL-B'.
CALL TRANSACTION 'SE38' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
ENDCASE.

Hema.

    Hi
    Interactive Reports
As the name suggests, the user can Interact with the report. We can have a drill down into the report data. For example, Column one of the report displays the material numbers, and the user feels that he needs some more specific data about the vendor for that material, he can HIDE that data under those material numbers. And when the user clicks the material number, another report (actually sub report/secondary list) which displays the vendor details will be displayed.
We can have a basic list (number starts from 0) and 20 secondary lists (1 to 21). Events associated with Interactive Reports are: 1. AT LINE-SELECTION 2. AT USER-COMMAND 3. AT PF<key> 4. TOP-OF-PAGE DURING LINE-SELECTION. HIDE statement holds the data to be displayed in the secondary list. sy-lisel : contains data of the selected line. sy-lsind : contains the level of report (from 0 to 21)
    Interactive Report Events:
AT LINE-SELECTION : This Event triggers when we double click a line on the list, when the event is triggered a new sublist is going to be generated. Under this event what ever the statements that are been return will be displayed on newly generated sublist.
AT PFn: For predefined function keys...
AT USER-COMMAND : It provides user functions keys.

When you run the program, the system displays the following basic list with a the page header defined in the program:
You can trigger the AT LINE-SELECTION event by double-clicking a line. The system sets the status TEST and deactivates the function code PICK. The status TEST contains function codes FC1 to FC5. These are assigned to pushbuttons in the application toolbar. The page header of the detail list depends on the status.
Here, double-clicking a line no longer triggers an event. However, there is now an application toolbar containing five user-defined pushbuttons. You can use these to trigger the AT USER-COMMAND event. The CASE statement contains a different reaction for each pushbutton.
For each interactive event, the system decreases the SY-LSIND system field by one, thus canceling out the automatic increase. All detail lists now have the same level as the basic list and thus overwrite it. While the detail list is being created, SY-LSIND still has the value 1.

  • Interactive Reporting 11.1.2.1 Questions

I have a few questions regarding Interactive Reporting 11.1.2.1 after being unable to find anything out researching extensively here and in multiple blogs, search engines, readme's, admin guides, etc.
I have not had training in IR yet....my going to training is dependent on several things, one being able to use the IPad with these IR reports.
    - I noticed I am only able to create a database connection file through the desktop IR studio client interface. For the web client, no luck. Would this be correct?
    - Would viewing IR reports and drilling into dimensions work through Workspace on an IPad? Or is there another way to view IR reports on an IPad?
Any info provided would be extremely helpful and appreciated.
    Thanks- C

FYI, Safari is not a supported browser for 11.1.2.2 and before. If I recall when I last tested it - I believe I was able to log in, but none of the objects or menus worked, so you could't do anything.
Financial Reporting is supported, in the latest release (11.1.2.3.):
    Apple:
iOS5, iOS6:      Financial Reporting only support Native Browser only
    Android:
3.x, 4.x:      Financial Reporting only support Native Browser Only
Not 100% sure what that exactly means and will have to setup an environment to test.
It also seems the documentation is supported on Safari though.

  • Interactive report and default-filter

    ahoj!
i have a question regarding interactive reports and default-filter for a date: is it possible to use the current date for the default-filter? apex need 'dd.MM.yyyy' for the filter... already tried to_date(sysdate, 'dd.MM.yyyy')
    thx in advance,
    christian

    Hi,
I've just been trying the "in the last" option and had no problems for any number that I entered. Are you just entering 1 into the box? What error do you get?
I've loaded the page with Debug switched on, and get:
    select
           null as apxws_row_pk,
           "DATE_ID",
           "ATD_DATE",
           "CHECK",
           count(*) over () as apxws_row_cnt
    from (
    select  *  from (
    select
    apex_item.checkbox(1, DATE_ID) "CHECK",
    "DATE_ID",
    "ATD_DATE"
    from "#OWNER#"."ATD_DATES"
    )  r
    where ("ATD_DATE" between systimestamp - (1 * :APXWS_EXPR_1) and systimestamp)
) r where rownum <= to_number(:APXWS_MAX_ROW_CNT):APXWS_EXPR_1 would contain the value 1 as that is what I've entered for the filter. My report's sql statement is just the innermost nested select statement, the rest has been added by the IR functionality and the filter.

  • Interactive Reports Issue Quality System

    Hi experts,
This is regarding Interactive reporting fucntionality available in SAP CRM 7.0
I have configured this fucntionality in our DEV environment & actually created the various types of reports by assigning 10 custom fields which have z extensions.
Now, i have transported every custom field to Quality System but while creating a report, & while selecting the fields, i am unable to see those custom fields which i use to see in DEV box. I can only see the standard field
I would appreciate if someone can suggest or give some solution on this in order to fix in our Quality box.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi!
Provided you created the extension fields with the Application Enhancement Tool, you will have to transport the enhancement into your target system first. Then generate it locally with report AXT_EXT_ACTIVATE_LOCAL.

  • Bug? Interactive Report - Help not Translated

    Hi,
I translated all Text Messages regarding Interactive Report, but Help (popup window) is still in English. Everything else is translated.
Is this a Bug, or am I missing something?
    Best Regards,
    Hrvoje.

    Hi Joel,
I played a bit more with the IR, as this is one of the most important additions to 3.1.
I have to say that even with the bug in the help windows, which will be fixed, as you said, in 3.1.1, the APEX team did a tremendous job with the translation options of this new feature, and you can see that a lot of work has been done to allow us to translate every aspect of the IR region, thus utilizing this great feature in all the other languages APEX is supporting. I was especially pleased to find out that even the CSS relevant selectors of the help window, are part of an external file, which allow me, very easily, to add RTL support, for example.
I strongly believe that this approach – putting as much as possible in an external resources, and not as an internal (inline) APEX engine generated code – is the best approach, and it will help us to better use this great product.
    Thanks,
    Arie.

  • Interactive Report "in" filters do not maintain trailling spaces

I recently came across an interesting situation regarding interactive reports and "in" filters. When building the in list through the filter wizard, any trailing spaces in the column data is trimmed, which leads to inaccurate report results. This doesn't happen on a "=" filter, it seems limited to "in" filters.
I have an example here: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=39226:1
If you click on the "=" filter you'll see the one record with the trailing space is properly displayed. Clicking on the "in" filter and no records are displayed.
In my particular case, the trailing space shouldn't have been in the data, so I was able to update the table and the filters worked, but if the trailing space was important then the "in" behavior would be troublesome.
    Tony

Well, considering the fact that there is a space in the data, and NOT in your in clause I bet, then what is the problem??
    Thank you,

You know, I used to think that it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe.

  • Regarding Interactive or drill down reports

How to come back from 15th list to 5th list or 1st list in the interactive reports?

Hi Naveen, this material gives u the sample codes, will be of help.
    Using Detail Lists
A classic report is a program that generates a single list, which must contain all of the required detail information. This procedure may result in extensive lists from which the user has to pick the relevant data. For background processing, this is the only possible method. After starting a background job, there is no way of influencing the program. The desired selections must be made beforehand and the list must provide detailed information.
For dialog sessions, there are no such restrictions. The user is present during the execution of the program and can control and manipulate the program flow directly. To be able to use all advantages of the online environment, classical reporting was developed into interactive reporting.
Interactive reporting allows the user to participate actively in retrieving and presenting data during the session. Instead of one extensive and detailed list, with interactive reporting you create a condensed basic list from which the user can call detailed information by positioning the cursor and entering commands. Interactive reporting thus reduces information retrieval to the data actually required. Detailed information is presented in detail lists.
Apart from creating detail lists, interactive reporting also allows you to call transactions or other executable programs (reports) from lists. These programs then use values displayed in the list as input values. The user can, for example, call a transaction from within a list to change the database table whose data is displayed in the list.
    EXAMPLES
    Creating Detail Lists
    REPORT demo_list_interactive_1.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
    WRITE: 'Basic List, SY-LSIND =', sy-lsind.
    AT LINE-SELECTION.
    WRITE: 'Secondary List, SY-LSIND =', sy-lsind.
When you run the program, the basic list appears. The GUI status automatically permits the function Choose (F2). When you choose a list line, the system triggers the AT LINE-SELECTION event, and the first detail list overlays the basic list. This list has no standard page header. It also inherits the GUI status of the basic list. By choosing Choose, the user can now create up to 19 of these lists. Trying to produce more than 19 lists results in a runtime error. Using Back , the user can return to previous lists.
    Navigation in detail lists.
    REPORT demo_list_interactive_2.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
    WRITE: 'Basic List, SY-LSIND =', sy-lsind.
    AT LINE-SELECTION.
    IF sy-lsind = 3.
    sy-lsind = 0.
    ENDIF.
    WRITE: 'Secondary List, SY-LSIND =', sy-lsind.
When you run the program, the basic list appears:
    Basic List, SY-LSIND = 0
The GUI status automatically permits the function Choose (F2). If the user positions the cursor on the list line and chooses Choose to trigger the AT LINE-SELECTION event, the system displays a detail list that contains the following line:
    Secondary List, SY-LSIND = 1
    Choosing Choose again produces:
    Secondary List, SY-LSIND = 2
Back leads to the previous list level. Choosing Choose for the third time produces a detail list that contains the following line (because of the IF condition):
    Secondary List, SY-LSIND = 0
The system deletes list levels 1 and 2. Choosing Back returns to the point at which the list processing started. If you choose Choose, the system creates a detail list with index 1. However, the list on level 0 is no longer a basic list (no page header), but is itself a detail list.
    Page Headers for Detail Lists
    REPORT demo_list_interactive_3.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
    WRITE 'Basic List'.
    AT LINE-SELECTION.
    kindly reward if found helpful.
    cheers,
    Hema.

  • Questions on Interactive Report Icons

When I created an Interactive Report, rectangular icons have been automatically created on the left side of the report on every line.
When clicked one of the icons, it displays the details of the line in vertical order.
    Here are my questions:
    1. When I've hidden some columns in the interactive report and clicked the icon, it does not display hidden column details. But I want to hide those columns only in the report but displays all details when the icon is clicked. How can I do this?
    2. How can I hide the icons?
    3. How can I use the icons not to display line details but to direct to an editable page to edit the same details?
    Thanks,
    Guy

    Hello
    1. When I've hidden some columns in the interactive report and clicked the icon, it does not display hidden column details. But I want to hide those columns only in the report but displays all details when the icon is clicked. How can I do this? You can create another region, or page that will show your row description by identifier or rowid. You can do this by changing Link Column type to "Link to Custom Target"
    2. How can I hide the icons?Go to Interactive Report -> Link Column -> Link Column change to (Exclude Link Column)
    3. How can I use the icons not to display line details but to direct to an editable page to edit the same details? The same as answer 1.

    Thanks,
    T.Sreekanth.

    Hi,
It will be similar to what you do in normal report.
Here you may create an object instance and then call some method on the object.
    AT LINE-SELECTION.
    create object obj.
    CALL METHOD obj->method1
    IMPORTING
      text = im_text.
    write: im_text.
