Regarding JSESSION in SOAP Header and in URL

Hi All,
Is the statement xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Cookie", "JSESSIONID=" + JSESSIONID); sufficient to make integration requests after sso log in? JSESSIONID is a vairable in javascript. I extracted the cookie value by using the getRequestHeader("Set-Cookie") statement.
I have been trying the other way, putting jsession in URL. I tried to use encodeURI() function of javascript to encode the cookie value. I have put the encoded value in the url.
I was not able to make integration requests. status value was 500. Following is the responseText.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><soap:Body><soap:Fault><faultcode>soap:Server</faultcode><faultstring>Server</faultstring><detail><ErrorCode>SBL-ODU-01006</ErrorCode><ErrorMessage>Internal Error: Session is not available. Aborting.</ErrorMessage></detail></soap:Fault></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>

  • How to get SAMl assertion from SOAP Header and propagate user context to BW

    Hello to all,
    we implemented this scenario:
    3rdparty System to SAP PI 7.11 to SAP BW.
    sync. communication via SOAP Sender adapter and Receiver XI PROXY.
    We get a SAMl assertion in the SOAP Header from the 3rd-Party System.
    The SAP BW System could not read the Header information.
    How can we get the information of the SOAP Header in the PI System and send the usercontext via XI Proxy to the SAP BW system?
    Can we read the Header information in the SOAP adapter and mapping it to another field in the payload or Headerinformation which could read in the backend system in the proxy class?
    Thanks for your help and regards
    Martin

    Dear Fox,
    Thanks for your reply.
    Is it mandatory to have the Header elements and the message defined in the Mediator wsdl?
    At present I have not defined it in the WSDL.

  • Regarding LSMW Purchase Order header and item data

    Hi Friends,
    I have one requirement i.e purchase order data need to be upload through LSMW via Direct input method.
    =============
    pls find the belwo flat file structure
    old_PO           material            price            qty
    P123              M111                  10               1
    P123              M222                  10                1
    P123              M333                  20               1
    ===============
    Normally if I upload same data into SAP, it will create three purchase orders with different SAP numbers.
    I want if old_PO number is matches with the previous record all the materials should be in single transaction and single Purchase order should be created.
    Can any body help how to resolve this issue. This is very urgent.
    pls explain in detail. I am using LSMW. I don't have no other option.
    =====
    please don't post any junk amswers.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Raghunath,
    Don't think that this reply is junk one.I cannot explain you in detail but try like this.
    In the fifth step of LSMW,You can find Global data definitions & Processing times.
    In any of these you can just fetch the values from database with reference to flat file data like..
    select PO from ...where PO = source-PO.
    if sy-subrc EQ 0.
    skip_transaction. Using this function you can skip this record
    endif.
    Award points if useful.

  • Post user and pass to SOAP Header message in ABAP Proxy

    Hi Folks!
    I'm trying to post user and pass to SOAP Header on an ABAP proxy. I've already read the thread [Consume web service in ABAP proxy with SOAP header|Re: Consume web service in ABAP proxy with SOAP header; and I see that is possible to manipulate SOAP Header but I cannot understand how I work with function module SDIXML_XML_TO_DOM.
    Do I need pass to parameter xml a complete SOAP Envelope? If it is right how can I get the complete xml message to pass to this parameter? I think I don't need the build the xml strucuture as I did on WebAS 6.40, isn't it?
    Thanks in advanced.

    Hi Rafael,
    I would be interested in the solution... could you please post it into forum.
    Thanks and best regards

  • Create XML with digital sign and SOAP header...

    Hi.
    With ABAP, I need create an XML file iwith SOAP envelope. The message has to be signed and the sign data saved in the ws-security part in the SOAP header. I have to sign the file with a X509v3 certificate in base64.
    Somebody can tell me how can create the SOAP header and sign it with ABAP for the XML.
    Thanks.

    Please refrain from implementing WS-Security yourself.
    NWAS ABAP 7.x provides support for WS-Security - in both roles, as Consumer and Provider.
    The right approach is to generate a proxy based on a given WSDL.
    What kind of (message-based) authentication is demanded by the WS Provider?

  • SOAP Header XSLT mapping

    Hi,
    I am working on Proxy to SOAP synchronous scenario.  How to create SOAP header message in XSLT mapping...I am trying but no sauces becz receiver side SOAP header and Body in different message types please see below.
    Header part is message type 1
    <CredentialsHeader xmlns="http://reuters.com/datascopeselect/ExtractionService/v1/">
          <Username>string</Username>
          <Password>string</Password>
          <AuthenticationToken>string</AuthenticationToken>
        </CredentialsHeader>
    Body part is
    message type 2
    <soap:Body>
        <Extract xmlns="http://reuters.com/datascopeselect/ExtractionService/v1/">
          <request>
            <OutputFields>
              <string>string</string>
              <string>string</string>
            </OutputFields>
          </request>
        </Extract>
      </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    But source is single.. I try ed multi mapping but synchronous scenario it will not working.
    I am trying to generate both message types as single message type in XSLT mapping target side and will give service interface as dummy in ESR.
    Please guide how to generate 2 message types as single message type in XSLT mapping...
    Thanks,
    Venkat

    Hi Venkat,
    I suggest to produce a complete SOAP message in message mapping. Import the SOAP XSD from [http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/] as external definition and use it as target message in message mapping. You need at 2 mapping programs in order to produce the message. The first mapping creates header and body. In the second mapping use "Return as XML" to map the header and body nodes to the SOAP envelope.
    In the SOAP receiver communication channel, you need to activate the parameter "Do Not Use SOAP Envelope", see [Configuring the Receiver SOAP Adapter|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/29/5bd93f130f9215e10000000a155106/content.htm].

  • SOAP Header

    Hi Experts,
    My scenario is to access the HEADER element in the incoming SOAP Header and use it as a condition for Receiver determination.
    Can somebody give example of
    1) XSLT / java  code which can be used to access SOAP Header elements.
    2) How use this to determine the receiver.

    Hi,
    You can achieve this by setting the Adapter-Specific Message Attributes under advanced tab in your CC.
    check below link for the same..

  • HTTP 415 Unsupported Media Type with SOAP adapter trying to put SOAP header

    Hello,
    I am trying to put data into soap header using soap receiver adapter. Seems like building the complete soap message is the right way to go. Thus I wrote a java program to build the complete soap message (soap envelop, soap header and soap body which contains the message PI received from the sender). Mapping program works well. However when I ran the scenario, I got Error "SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 415 Unsupported Media Type" when calling the receiver's web service (the SOAP receiver adapter CC have the "Do Not use SOAP Envelop" checked). Anyone knows why I got this error? From google, seems like this error is because the http's content-type is set to other type, rather than "text/xml". However in soap CC there is no option to control this.
    The message sent to the receiver is (after mapping);
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <SOAP-ENV:Header>
    <SOAP-SEC:Signature xmlns:SOAP-SEC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/security/2000-12" MyAttr="value">My Test Value</SOAP-SEC:Signature>
    </SOAP-ENV:Header>
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    <ns1:UpdateEquipment xmlns:ns1="http://mycomp.com/mywebservice">
    <ns1:EquipmentNumber>000000012345</ns1:EquipmentNumber>
    <ns1:LicensePlate>654321</ns1:LicensePlate>
    </ns1:UpdateEquipment>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    Anyone can help?
    Thanks

    When you check "Do Not use SOAP Envelop", the SOAP adapter chooses application/xml instead of text/xml.
    You can change the content type with help of the MessageTransformBean. You put the bean in the module chain of the receiver channel and add the parameter Transform.ContentType = text/xml

  • How to add  variables in SOAP header before to call my Physical Service?

    In ODSI,
    I created a Physical Service for an external WebService (third part).
    In a logical Service (inside a XQuery Extension Function) i am calling the previous Physical Service. However, I need to add some variables in the SOAP Header Request before to call that Physical Service.
    Thanks

    Since your webservice accepts a SOAP Header, the wsdl for your webservice should describe that SOAP header (as well as the body). And when ODSI creates the physical data service from the wsdl, the read function will take two arguments - one is the SOAP header and the other is the SOAP body. All you need to do is populate the soap header and body.
    If your wsdl does not describe the soap header - fix it so that it does. If need be, make a copy of the wsdl, modify it to describe the soap header, save it in your DataSpace, and then (re)create the physical data service from the wsdl.

  • Exapmle for SOAP Header in WS using JAXRPC Handler

    Any one has example of how to use the SOAP Header in Webservice implementation using the JAX RPC handler?
    We have a situation where several PL/SQL web services require some context being set in the PL/SQL package. I am planning to use the PL/SQL web service with some soap headers , when present the Handler will take those values from the SOAP header and make the extra pl/sql calls, before the BODY which will be mapped to the pl/sql procedure whose response will be sent back as the WS response..
    I will really appreciate if some one show me the example on how to use the JAXRPC handler in JDEV.
    Thank you very much.

    Probably the easiest way is to insert
    @Resource
    WebServiceContext wsc;
    in your @WebService annotated class.
    Depending what you want to do a SOAPHandler might be appropriate.
    also possible:

  • How to add empty soap header?

    Hello,
    I created a web service proxy using WSDL and XSD files. Then, I created a sample request from client interface and sent the request as an object to call the web services. However, I am not directly calling the webservices as I am doing it through a Gateway. Here, the problem is, the Gateway accepts only empty SOAP headers and the Gateway inserts the security details in that SOAP header and will send a request to the original web services. Even if we add any element in the SOAP header, it is not accepting the request.
    While sending a request through the client interface(Java class), I am not able to generate a empty SOAP header and send as request. I tried several ways adding a empty header. but no result. Is there any way we can add empty SOAP header while sending a requesting through Java class(Client interface)?
    Thanks
    sekhar

    Thanks for your reply.
    I have tried different approaches for adding empty SOAP header with no elements. But, none of them worked. The only solution for this issue is to add OSB proxy which has the functionality to send empty SOAP header which worked for me.
    Thanks

  • How to set the SOAP Header while publishing to Queue in the mediator

    Hi,
    I am trying to publish the message to a JMS AQ, from the Mediator service in the 11g Soa Suite. I want to add some properties as SOAP Header to the message and send it to the JMS AQ. I have seen the mediator process calling BPEL process, passing the SOAP Header values. In the BPEL process, we have the section <soap:binding> inside that I can give the <soap:header>and set the values.
    Could any one tell me how to do this in Mediator service which is calling the JMS AQ using adapter?
    Thanks,

    The solution in this thread is for VS .NET as this is the forum for CR in .NET.
    With Foxpro, I suspect you want to create a new thread in the SAP Crystal Reports - Legacy SDKs forum.
    Make sure you specify the exact version of CR used.

  • How to get DateTime from PI message SOAP Header

    Hi ALL
    Can you please let me know how we can get the time message received in PI from the SOAP message header
    <SAP:TimeSent>2010-08-17T16:24:16Z</SAP:TimeSent>
    I would like to capture this value and send it in the payload of the message, initially I was using the Current TIme date function.
    However, if I can get the time received value from the SOAP Header message, It will be more accurate in providing the Time the message was received by IE.
    Thank you,

    If you want to get the TimeSent from SOAP header and map it to some field in ur message then u can easily do it using following UDF :-
    GlobalContainer globalContainer;globalContainer = container.getGlobalContainer();
    java.util.Map param = globalContainer.getParameters();.
    String timeSent = (String) param.get (StreamTransformationConstants.TIME_SENT);
    return timeSent ;
    Note: This UDF won't need any input. So u need not to maintain any variable in UDF signature.
