Regarding keyfield value in payload

Hi
from the sender side I am receiving a flat file with header, body,trailer.
In the payload I don't have keyfied .
can any one suggest me how to configure in content conversion parameters in the sender file adapter.

    There are couple of links already available for this. Just for info see the below details,
    The Output file name could be used from the field value of payload. For this you need to use the UDF DynamicFile name with below code,
    //       Description: Function to create dynamic Filename

    System.out.println("the payload value is " + task_test.getPayloadAsElement().getElementsByTagName("User_ID").item(0).getFirstChild().getNodeValue());
    So add the getFirstChild() call in between.
    If this works, maybe consider using JAXB to marshall the payload details to POJO's. This will make reading the payload details much easier.

  • Content Conversion- Same keyfield value for two different sub structure

    I have a scenario where the key field value for the 2 substructure of record structure is same.
    MY XML structure is like this :

    The sample text file is given below where line no. 3 and 5 are different substructure(For ROW1 and ROW2 respectively) with same keyfield value.

    "ROW",3,4,5,6
    "ITM2",2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

    After content conversion I get a XML structure in which there is no ROW2 and all data within the fields of ROW2 are put under ROW1 as the key field values are identical.
    In the records only the first field is constant (e.g. ROW).
    How to handle such a scenario?

    Unless you can somehow expand the key, I don't know that this is possible.  The key implies uniqueness - and in your case, unfortunately, it isn't.  Is there any way to edit the structure to make it more unique for you?  Do you have any control or ability to change that?
    Maybe if you add unique keys in your mapping, you can strip them off with content conversion on the way out using the parameter keyFieldInStructure=ignore?

  • Cannot map control record values from payload w/XSLT after SP13 upgrade

    Hi!
    Since we upgraded to SP13, the mapping of control record values form the XML payload to the IDOC control record (File->XI->IDOC scenario) no longer works if the mapping is done via XSLT. It works if the XI graphical mapper is used. The XSLT used is the same pre and post upgrade, but worked fine previously.
    [ Apply Control Record Values from Payload is checked in the IDOC adapter comm channel. ]
    Has anyone else experienced this? Am looking for any inspiration

    Are you sure the xslt file is still there?
    Maybe some non-compliance was corrected in later SP and your XSLT was using that non-compliance.
    If you post the XSLT we could try to point out any possible errors.

  • Keyfield value

        My scenario is File to Idoc. For doing file content conversion,  I am using X-Link adapter to convert flat file format to XML format.
        As per my input file, I am only having detail record in my file without header and footer.
      I dont have any keyfield value in my input and hence no keyfield name.
      When i am doing the file content conversion, it is asking for the key field value and keyfield name.
    Can it be done without using keyfield  value and keyfield name? If yes, please provide the solution how to go for it..........

    Hi Jayaram,
    if you have data of only one structure in your flat file, you do not need to specify keyfield in your FCC. Make sure you only specify one structure in the Recordset Structure, if here you specify two or more structure names, you will get the error you mentioned. Let me know you detailed configuration of yor FCC if the error still exist.

    I think the problem is UME related. I had the same problem once. Try using a system user for searching, instead of the logged on user.
    Like this:
    com.sapportals.portal.security.usermanagement.IUser user = WPUMFactory.getUserFactory().getUser("cmadmin_service");

  • File Content Conversion - Error in keyfield Value

    Hello experts,
    I am doing file content conversion for a file to file scenario. The input file is a csv file which is converted to xml using the file content conversion. The key field of input file is used for implementing conversion.
    While testing the FCC, I noticed that if the keyfield value is wrong for a record in the file, the record is ignored altogether without throwing any errors or warnings. Is there any way to notify if any records have been ignored as a result of incorrect keyfield value??

    There seems to be NO way to handle it in FCC.

  • Overwrite Value from Payload for RCVPOR, Receiver Port

    Dear All,
    Can we overwrite value of receiver port (RCVPOR) from Payload?
    The actual port value (For example SAP<SID>) will be specified in IDOC Receiver adapter.
    If I want to replace this value with say ABC can I do it through mapping?
    I tried using "apply control record from Payload"  for IDOC Receiver communication channel but still the actual port value (SAP<SID>) is going to SAPR3 and not ABC.

    Even my understanding is same that this value will not be overwritten. But I am not able to find any help.sap.com link or valid SAP Document which will clearly specify this.
    I need to pass this ABC value into IDOC header Record. This value will be required by User as selection criteria while executing WE05 and WE09 reports on SAPR3.
    This ABC value is nothing but the Application name and while executing above standard reports user will be able to differentiate application specific IDOCs if i provide this information in IDOC header .
    Now I spoke to ABAP Team and he suggested to use RCVPOR filed for thsi purpose as it is present in selection screen of both WE05 and WE09 report.
    So I wanted a confirmation through official document that we wont be able to use this field.

    I need help in defining one query. In my query there is a key figure with positive and negitive values(Quantity). I need another key figure (Key figure 2) to display all the negitive values for a condition price list type =02.
    That is "IF PRICE LIST TYPE =02 and qty is nigitive" then display in Key figure 2
    How to achieve it??

    Hi,
    Create a Calculated key figure with the following formula:
    ( 'Keyfigure' < 0) * 'Keyfigure'
    The expression ( 'Keyfigure' < 0) returns 1 when ever the expression is true.
    Use this CKF in the query along with the restriction on Price List type.
    (You can create a restricted key figure using the above CKF & restricting it on Price List type)
