Regarding Nested exception message
Hi,
In my application, when i run the servlet it gives me following stack trace. I am settign the attribute of exception and passing exception to JSP page where after getting and checking the attribute value . I am setting the new error message.
Issue : My nested excpetion (as per the trace) gives a good explanation of error/exception.
"Nested exception:
Cannot use javahl nor command line svn client"
But when i display the message using e.getMessage or .getLocalizedMessage. I get the message as
org.leafcutter.core.TaskRunnerException: Unable to execute task 'svn'
Is there any way where i can set the nested exception message and send it to JSP page. I dot want the main exception message but nested exception message. Please let me know if it is possible

==============================
let me rephrase the question.
I am using 3rd party API leafcutter, due to some reason it is throwing one exception (nested one). In the main flow this exception is coming along with main exception
I want the message of nested exception.
If it can be implemented with getCause. Please let me know how to set that.
or is there any other way to implement this

Hi all
There are some stock transport purcahse orders availble for one material with exception message 20 in MD04. The exception message 20 means cancel the process. So is there any affect on ATP check. Could you please confirm.
regards
sapHi
Exception message 20 means, it is not created for any dependent requirement i.e., not created for higher level material.
Might be manually created and it is excess requirement.
Exp message 20, it is a excess qty. If any dependent req. will come in future, system will consider this excess qty.
Normally exception message 20 indicates when there is excess stock available (or going to receive through some fixed receipts) after fulfilling all requirements. -
I am getting exception message 64 i.e order finish date after production finish date.
what is the reason.
Regards
sailendraHi,
Exception Message 64 is Production finish date after order
finish date.
Basic Scheduling:
The system calculates the order start date and finish from your
reqmts date based on the GR Processing time, inhouse production time and opening period defined in the schedule margin key.
Lead time scheduling :
The systems calculates the production start date and finish date from the times defined in the routing.
Always your production start date/ finish date should lie within
the order start date/ finish date.
Since in your case the production finish date is outside the order finish date the system is giving the Exception message 64.
Now by using the Reduction strategy you can bring the production finish date lies within the order finish date.

Error converting Message: 'sun.io.MalformedInputException';nested exception
Hi All,
I am using a File to mail scenario, My test file is getting picked up, but is not reflecting in SXMB_MONI and in runtime workbench it is showing like this
Retry 14. Message initiation failed: Transform: failed to execute the transformation: com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.trans.TransformException: Error converting Message: 'sun.io.MalformedInputException'; nested exception caused by: sun.io.MalformedInputException.
Can anybody help me out? In the module tab I am using it is an UTF-8, I have checked using US-ASCII, UTF-16, It is showing me the same error.
Edited by: uday kumar on Mar 10, 2009 9:32 AMHi Uday,
Please see this explaination from help.sap.com. Hope it will help you to understand the problem.
File Type
Specify the document data type.
○ Binary
○ Text
Under File Encoding, specify a code page.
The default setting is to use the system code page that is specific to the configuration of the installed operating system. The file content is converted to the UTF-8 code page before it is sent.
Permitted values for the code page are the existing Charsets of the Java runtime. According to the SUN specification for the Java runtime, at least the following standard character sets must be supported:
US-ASCII
Seven-bit ASCII, also known as ISO646-US, or Basic Latin block of the Unicode character set
ISO-8859-1
ISO character set for Western European languages (Latin Alphabet No. 1), also known as ISO-LATIN-1
UTF-8
8-bit Unicode character format
UTF-16BE
16-bit Unicode character format, big-endian byte order
UTF-16LE
16-bit Unicode character format, little-endian byte order
UTF-16
16-bit Unicode character format, byte order
Check which other character sets are supported in the documentation for your Java runtime implementation.
XML text documents generally contain their own code page description and should be treated as Binary data type.
go with the Binary File type option if don't require any content encoding in your scenario.

Regarding Exception Messages in MD04
Hi Gurus,
Can any body explain what's the main scenario where we get 'Exception message 30' i.e. Plan the process according to Schedule?
Is there any standard report which will display all the firmed planned/prod.ord based on MRP controller?
Helpful answers will be rewarded with points,
Thanks,
SekharHi,
If your order start date of the planned order lies in past and the order start date in past indicator is not allowed in OPPQ the system automatically switches to forward scheduling taking todays date starting date of the planned order. In this case the system issues a exception message 30 Plan process according to schedule.
System Current Date : 14.07.2007
Reqmts date : 01.07.2007
Planned order start date : 14.07.2007 with exception message 30 .
If order start date in the past indicator is not allowed during MRP Run the system creates planned order on 14.07.2007 with exception message 30 plan process according to schedule since your reqmt date is 01.07.2007.
If the order start date in the past indicator is allowed in OPPQ during MRP run
the system creates planned orders on 01.07.2007since the reqmts date is 01.07.2007.

Error in PI mapping "nested exception is: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError "
Hi Experts ,
I encounter an error in the PI mapping while calling a Java Mapping (Mercator Map)
Error Message as ::-
java.lang.RuntimeException: RemoteException in setMercGeneral: Error occurred in server thread; nested exception is: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError at com.philips.xi.mercator.MercatorCall.execute(MercatorCall.java:90) at
Could anyone suggest , how we can overcome this error message
I have also tried to restart the RMI Server , but that was not not helpful.
Regards,
ShwetaSweta,
Is this a java mapping or Graphical, If Java, you should not run into this issue as you dont load the nested XSD`s.
Also the error message indicates outofMemory in mercator side when posting your Large message.
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError at com.philips.xi.mercator.MercatorCall.execute(MercatorCall.java:90) at

Yep, the appserver got hold of a usable connection but the connection was closed before the appserver had finished/committed with it. It could be that the connection was closed by the database or some firewall timeout setting.
A good start is to investigate options of configuring your appserver's connection eviction policies including forcing a validation SQL to be executed when a connection is acquired. Make sure that such a query doesn't impact on performance and have some performance and integration testing before rolling out.i found that if i close the computer which causes this issue, hence other dev computers can deploy normally.
"deploy" here i mean deploy to a running instance on each dev's machine.
From this, i would guess the common database server itself rejects connection from clients.
I will try to investigate more if i am missing something.
And here i found a link that possibly a first good attempt:
[http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/m/505809/]
EclipseLink automatically recovers from communication failures, but there is little we can do to diagnose the failure. We basically execute a query and have to wait for the JDBC driver, or DataSource's response, if it hangs for 10minutes, then we are waiting. You could set the JDBC timeout hint on your query, but whether the JDBC driver honors this is up to the driver. You should see the SQLException in your logs, provided your log level is warning or lower.
If you cannot fix your firewall, they you could change your connection pool settings to use a min number of connections of 0, so there will never be idle connections. But then you will be reconnecting a lot.
You could also use a third party connection pool or DataSource that supports a timeout setting on the pooled connections, or spawn a thread in your application the clears the connection pool every 30minutes.regards,

Service call exception; nested exception is: java.lang.IllegalMonitorStateE
Hi All,
when we try to run the Message Monitoring in our RWB then we get the following error:
Service call exception; nested exception is: java.lang.IllegalMonitorStateException
Has anybody of you an idea what this error occurs?
Thank you for the support..
Kind Regards
Markushi,
restarting the java stack would be enough. You can do that at SMICM. Before you should deregister all queues in SMQR so that incoming messages has to wait in the queue. Of coz all synchronous msgs would fail, as well messages going to your Java Inbound Adapters.
note:reward points if solution found helpfull.....

Do you have any suggestions
Regards,
SunilHi Peter,
You are right. Child is being inserted even before parent got inserted (actually "committed") into the DB.we would need to look at your code where are you doing all these creates (may be ejbCreate). Most probably ur error should get fixed by changing the transactional attributes in the DD files. Try using <delay-database-inserts-until> element.
More details available at:
http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs70/faq/ejb.html#257426
If it doesn't help, open up a case with BEA Support.
Hope it helps!
Thanks

Sorry for the delay in response!!
Yes SAP gave patch VC70RUNTIME file to apply to get rid of this error.
Even asked us to follow the sap note

NESTED EXCEPTION:ABORT. ----please help....
Hi Experts,
I've created a VC Model as below.
Input form(vaue help)-->data service--
>output table
(to enter fiscal year period) (A query with no variables) (tabular output)
After deployment when i click on the value help,I get selection options but when i select an option(say lesser than and a relevent value) and then click 'SUBMIT' button on the input form,I get the following error message:
"Application error : Nested exception.Failure to excute native function.Nested Exception.ABORT'
The main need is to be able to display the results w.r.t the range of the fiscal year periods selected.
Any help on tackling this problem will be appreciated,
Regards,

This is due to invalid class compatibility. May be you are using the two different versions of classes. one at server side and another at your client side. please make sure both are having the SerialVersion Id's.

Please, help in RMI UnmarshalException: nested exception is: EOFException
Good day,
I have a problem in sample program, similar like an Oracle oriinal in "Getting Started Usin Java RMI", identically on server and client sides. It correctly works in NetBeans IDE, but never alone, as JAR archive or java class, if I used java -jar or java -classpath command-line form. Fragment of the server code includes final check on correct read from remote object, it corrrectly works within NetBeans but cause UnmarshalException in same server side in independent launch form (WeatherBean - sample object, contains points to information about city name, weather description, temperathure an small "weather" icon, WeatherService - interface with one getWeatherInformation() function):
String serverObjectName = "WeatherService";
final int remotePort = 1099;
final String remoteHost = "localhost";
Registry registry = LocateRegistry.getRegistry(remoteHost);
WeatherService remoteObject = (WeatherService)
UnicastRemoteObject.exportObject(service, 0);
registry.rebind(serverObjectName, remoteObject);
//control export output
java.util.List<WeatherBean> list =
service.getWeatherInformation();
for (int i = 0; i < list.size(); i++) {
WeatherBean wb = list.get(i);
service.addTextWeatherString(wb.getCityName() + " " +
wb.getDescription() + " " + wb.getTemperature());
//back read exported object (cause error)
String[] regArr = registry.list();
java.util.List<String> regList = Arrays.asList(regArr);
if (regList.contains(serverObjectName)) {
Remote remote = registry.lookup(serverObjectName);
if (Proxy.isProxyClass(remote.getClass())) {
Proxy proxy = (Proxy) remote;
InvocationHandler invocationHandler =
Proxy.getInvocationHandler(proxy);
WeatherService weatherService = (WeatherService)
Proxy.newProxyInstance(
WeatherService.class.getClassLoader(),
new Class[] { WeatherService.class },
invocationHandler);
list = weatherService.getWeatherInformation();
for (int i = 0; i < list.size(); i++) {
WeatherBean wb = list.get(i);

Is this a java mapping or Graphical, If Java, you should not run into this issue as you dont load the nested XSD`s.
Also the error message indicates outofMemory in mercator side when posting your Large message.

Typed model execution failed; see nested exception for details
Hi All,
I have created a WebDynpro Java Application which is accessing a Bapi.
The application is compiled and deployed .
When i try to execute the application by entering data on the search view and clicking the get Button ,
I am getting the below exception message at the botton of the Page .
For the same data when i execute the Bapi in ECC ,it is working fine .
Now my Query is .
1) Do i need to do some additional configuration apart from JCO and destinations in NWA ?
2) From where to get the exception file "see nested exception for details" ?
3) Is this a known issue as NWDS 7.31 works on RFC2 .
Regards,
NiteshHi,
This is the error generated in default trace after executing the application.
