    i have a program
FS_TAB1-A = P_T1.
IF P_T1 = 0.
TEMP1 = 1.
DO TEMP1 TIMES.
    FS_TAB1-A = P_T1 * DUMMY1.
    APPEND FS_TAB1 TO T_TAB1.
    DUMMY1 = DUMMY1 + 1.
ENDDO.
now i have to diplay the p_t1*dummy1 using alv grid display like it goes into thew loop for ten times then i have to show it 10 times like
10 1 102 103 104 111 112 like that can u help me

you have to get the result of the multiplication at each row and then concatenate the result and the factor to show the final result in multiples value and multiplication factor...

Define a work area say
wa_layout type slis_layout_alv.
then fill this work area as
wa_layout-zebra = X
wa_layout-colwidth_optimize = X.
wa_layout-max_linesize = 300.
Then in FM 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
EXPORTING
is_layout = wa_layout
etc.
you provided this for the field which is displayed in alv grid will have more than 128 characters.
from this code i want,how it refers to particular field.
when i mentioned field catalog-OUTPUTLEN = '300'.
it is not displayed the field morethan 128 characters.
it only displays 128 characters.
please provide me clear and breif information with suitable code.

Goto SE41, create a pf-status for your alv report program.
On the next screen, click menu EXTRAS --> click option ADJUST TEMPLATES and select radiobutton LIST VIEWER --> you will get all standard buttons of alv in the pf-status.
Delete the unwanted buttons and also you can add new buttons if reqd.
Activate pf-status --> and apply in alv program.
Now to apply this pf-status in your alv report follow code:-

How to display field of 250 character length using ALV Grid display

Hello Experts,
Currently I'm using 4.6 version.
I got to insert a new field of length 250 characters into an existing ALV grid display.
I passed a value of length 250 chars into the field and assigned it to the itab passing to the fn module
'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'.
But in the ALV display I am able to view only 132 chars only. I increased the line-size of the report also accordingly. But I'm unable to view all the 250 chars.
Kindly help me out in fixing this issue.

you just can't do that
I suggest that you put the first characters in cell and allow user to double-click on cell in order to view the full value in a popup window

ALV GRID DISPLAY -Problem with Layout

I'm using ALV GRID DISPLAY. I ran the program and in the output i created a layout Test1.Later i created a layout Test2. Now when i run the report, when i select layout Test1, the display is not as selected for the layout. but when i manualy select the layout throu change layout-->Test1, the display is working good. Can someone tell me what the problem can be?

ALV grid display with more than 1000 columns

Hi Friends,
I have to prepare a report output which have 1015 columns.
User will give 100 weeks of data to retrieve. I have to display the output in day wise.
100*7 + 315 = 1015 columns.
I am using ALV grid display for this in 4.6C.
My Question is, whether I have to declare the output table type with 1015 fields.?
Is there any other way to do this, without declaring 1015 cloumns.
Please guide me to solve this.

refer notes 857823, 910300 and 959775. All these say there is a limitation of 128 characters.
857823 - ALV grid: Strings with a maximum of 128 characters
Symptom
Entries in cells of the type CHAR or string are truncated after 128
characters in the SAP GUI.

Cause and Prerequisites
The data table that is sent to the front end only allows character values
with the length 128.
Solution
This is the standard system behavior and cannot be changed.

I am not sure of the maximum of columns possible.
If you see the col_pos field in the field catalog table it can have only 2 digits. so i would assume it would be only 99 columns, but not sure.

Recall ALV grid display

Hi,
         I used ALV grid display to generate a report, the end-user will select a record from the report and press a push button so that the value will be changed automatically and will be reflected in the alv.
        I have done this by recalling the alv function module. The problem is when alv FM is recalled the changed data is displayed in a new screen and when i select to GO BACK by pressing [ F3 ] im getting the old alv display screen, but i want the controll to go to the selection screen. Please help me to fix this,

Error in field catalog in ALV grid display using classes at do_sum = "X'.

the code for the field catalog is going to dump because of the statement in the field catalog for field 'netwr',do_sum = 'X'.
that do_sum = 'X' is not working and going to dump when executed.with out that do_sum it is working fine. the error in dump analysys is showing sap standard incude LSLVCF01.
