Regarding performance widget (performance objects) for custom dashboard

Hi,
I'm making a custom dashboard, I'm trying to use the performance widget for a netapp volume, but the performance objects are not available and only see "(All)" on the options (see screenshot).  When I create the dashboard it shows the widget
with empty information.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi all,
I managed to fix all my dashboards, from what I understand it is not a supported MS fix as per articles I found on forums etc.
My issues started when I renamed some of my groups because of requirements, think SCOM 2012 doesn't like the rename, serious bug that I think causes the info in the db's to go out of sync etc.
Also found that data from the main opsmgr db to the dwdb hadn't submitted for months, so my reporting was way out. Hence blank stats on dashboards and uptime reports showed grey.
I followed this article and fixed it, please ensure that your db's are fully backed up before doing this. OperationsMananger DB and the OperationsManagerDW db.
The issue in the end is actually with the DW db.

  • Lock object for customer(kunnr) in tcode vf01,vf02,f-28,va01

    While using any one of above tcode by using particular customer number(kunnr) ,for same customer other tcode should not allow to access(should be locked)

    I agree with nabheet madan, you could look for customer-exit/BAdI or at last implicit Enhancement spot to execute a call of ENQUEUE_EXKNA1 and lock customer record.
    You must do that for every dynpro PAI where the customer number can be input (and release previous customer when changed, DEQUEUE_EXKNA1)
    Are you sure that requirement is on customer number and not Credit Management ?

  • Problem finding object for Custom Object Test

    I need to create a custom object test that tests whether a an element is present after a record gets inserted into the database. The script is databanked and each iteration needs to insert a databanked record, then evaluate my custom object test to make sure the record was inserted. The trick is in writing the expression that finds the correct custom object. After one iteration, this is the code that finds the custom object;
    RSWApp.om.GetElementByPath "window(index=0).link(text=""Category D"" | href=""javascript:OpenModal('DocumentCategoryAddEdit.aspx?documentCategoryId=377','400');"" | index=19)", element
    Instead of always grabbing the object whose text is "Category D", I want to grab the object whose text is <<category>> (ie retrieved from a databank file). Search in the href or index isn't helpful because these will change with each iteration through my script.
    I tried to modify the GetElementByPath to this:
    RSWApp.om.GetElementByPath "window(index=0).link(text=dbValue|)", element
    where dbValue is a local parameter that I set earlier on. When I run this, I get an object not found error.
    Any ideas?

    I much prefer to use RSWAPP.om.findElement. It is much more robust than FindElements.<BR>
    RSWApp.GetDatabankValue Is what is needed anytime you want to return Databank values to the VBA environment<BR>
    <BR>
    Your code should look something like the following:<BR>
    <BR>
    Dim dbVal as string
    <BR>
    RSWApp.GetDataBankValue "MyDbVariable", dbVal<BR>
    <BR>
    This will return the contents of "MyDbVariable" which is defined and bound in the databank wizard to VBA variable dbVal.<BR>
    <BR>
    You can then use DBVal in your path:
    <BR>
    RSWApp.om.GetElementByPath "window(index=0).link(text="" & dbVal & "" | href=""javascript:OpenModal(&#39;DocumentCategoryAddEdit.aspx?documentCategoryId=377&#39;,&#39;400&#39;);"" | index=19)", element<BR>
    <BR>
    If you decide to use Find elements instead of GetElementByPath, the syntax would like the following: <BR>
    <BR>
    Set element = RSWApp.om.FindElement(dbVal, "A", "InnerText") <BR>
    As you can see it is much simpler.<BR>
    <BR>
    Hope this helps!

  • Whats the Middleware object for customer group code?

    Hi Gurus,
    Whats the name of middle ware object to transfer customer group codes from ECC to CRM?
    Vinay

    To Know what all the object does you can see it in R3AC3. Go to Tcode R3AC3, and  slect the object DNL_CUST_PRICE. If you go into the details,You will have a tab called Tables/Structures. In that you can see what all the tables are selected. By this you can determine what all data comes to CRM from R/3. Those tables are R3 tables. Same applies other obects.

  • SWF File creation tool for Unifier Custom Dashboards

    Hello Everyone,
    I am looking for a tool that can allow me to create SWF files to be used for Custom Dashboard. I know that using third-party SWF file creation tools, swf template files can be created and we can build custom dashboards in Unifier.
    Can anyone provide me with list of SWF file creation tools that you have used for Unifier dashboards.
    Thanks

    The only tool that the SWF Dashboards were designed to work with is Xcelcius. Please bear in mind that only legacy Skire customers that had created SFW dashboards have the ability to use SWF dashboards.

  • To Capture Excise Duties for Customer Material

    Dear All,
    Issue is regarding to capture excise invoice
    for Customer Material.
    1.
    one of our client receives Customer material which
    should not be reflected in
    stock.
    2. Excise should be captured which
    receiving
    3. Now
    when this Customer material is returned back to
    customer along with
    the assembly (i.e. the material received from
    customer is fixed
    in Assembly and sent back to
    customer),
    4. Now
    the excise
    captured should be transfered back to customer's A/c.
    I tried
    doing by creating a material type as customer material, where in
    Stock will be reflected but value will not be reflected, where exactly
    we
    can capture the excise details for this scenario.
    How
    to
    proceed further to complete his scenario.
    Consider this
    issue
    to be on high priority &  i/p will be of great help.

    Dear Vijayashree
    From your comments what I understood is that for a particular FERT, you are procuring one component from the buyer, assembling it and invoicing to the same customer.
    If this is the scenario, I dont know how you can invoice without maintaining BOM for that.
    If the client don’t want to maintain BOM for the same, the only option is as follows to my knowledge.
    Whenever the client receives the component, take credit of the duty amount by updating <b>J1IH</b>. While doing PGI, since you have not maintained this component in BOM, stock will <i>ONLY</i> reduce for other components.  So no-where, your client can track the customer’s component.
    Parallelly, apart from selling price, to the extent of excise duty value, one more condition (say ABCD,  to be maintained.  So in your pricing procedure, the assessable value should be PR00 + ABCD for which, the excise duty should be captured so that the client can recover the duty amount from customer.
    Finally, for this practice, the client should maintain datas (how many procured and how many invoiced) manually to convince the government officials but then, I am not sure, how far this will be accepted by the officials.
    Thanks

  • Custom Dashboard in Unifier

    Hello All,
    Wondering if someone has this working.
    I am using Xcelsius to create the SWF file for custom dashboard though I believe it does not matter which product you use to create it.
    Does anyone know what the URL to include in the SWF file that you upload into the custom dashboard in Unifier?
    I think it might be something like 'https://myunifiersever.com/Dashboard1'  where Dashboard1 is the name of my custom dashboard, but I am not entirely sure.
    I get this error messsage below, but first I need to confirm that I am using the correct URL.
    'An error has occurred.
    For more information, contact the file creator or your system administrator.
    Eror: Error #2032

    If anyone can help be greatly appreciated.

  • Missing performance counters when creating custom dashboard?

     I've run into an issue when trying to create custom dashboards with performance views.
    For example I have 2 servers with the same OS 2008 R2 one does not show the problem the other does.
    The issue is that when I go in to create a custom dashboard and add a performance view the only counters listed for the problem server are network adapters. If I go to performance view on the server in scom it shows all the counters. The only place the counters
    are missing is in the selection area for the dashboard performance view widget.
      Do the performance views pull counter data from a different place then the dashboard performance widgets?

  • ORACLE OBJECTS FOR OLE(OO4O) PERFORMANCE TUNING

    Windows 3.1의 경우는 c:/windows/oraole.ini

    Tuning and Customization
    A number of working parameters of Oracle Objects for OLE can be
    customized. Access to these parameters is provided through the Oracle
    initialization file, by default named ORAOLE.INI.
    Each entry currently available in that file is described below. The location
    of the ORAOLE.INI file is specified by the ORAOLE environment variable.
    Note that this variable should specify a full pathname to the Oracle
    initialization file, which is not necessarily named ORAOLE.INI. If this
    environment variable is not set, or does not specify a valid file entry, then
    Oracle Objects for OLE looks for a file named ORAOLE.INI in the Windows
    directory. If this file does not exist, all of the default values
    listed will apply.
    You can customize the following sections of the ORAOLE.INI file:
    [Cache Parameters]
    A cache consisting of temporary data files is created to manage amounts
    of data too large to be maintained exclusively in memory. This cache
    is needed primarily for dynaset objects, where, for example, a single
    LONG RAW column can contain more data than exists in physical
    (and virtual) emory.
    The default values have been chosen for simple test cases, running on a machine
    with limited Windows resources. Tuning with respect to your machine and
    applications is recommended.
    Note that the values specified below are for a single cache, and that a separate
    cache is allocated for each object that requires one. For example, if
    your application contains three dynaset objects, three independent data
    caches are constructed, each using resources as described below.
    SliceSize = 256 (default)
    This entry specifies the minimum number of bytes used to store a piece
    of data in the cache. Items smaller than this value are allocated the
    full SliceSize bytes for storage; items larger than this value are
    allocated an integral multiple of this space value. An example of an
    item to be stored is a field value of a dynaset.
    PerBlock = 16 (default)
    This entry specifies the number of Slices (described in the preceding
    entry) that are stored in a single block. A block is the minimum unit
    of memory or disk allocation used within the cache. Blocks are read
    from and written to the disk cache temporary file in their entirety. Assuming a SliceSize of 256 and a PerBlock value of 16, then the block
    size is 256 * 16 = 4096 bytes.
    CacheBlocks = 20 (default)
    This entry specifies the maximum number of blocks held in memory at any
    one time. As data is added to the cache, the number of used blocks
    grows until the value of CacheBlocks is reached. Previous blocks are
    swapped from memory to the cache temporary disk file to make room for
    more blocks. The blocks are swapped based upon recent usage. The total
    amount of memory used by the cache is calculated as the product of
    (SliceSize * PerBlock * CacheBlocks).
    Recommended Values: You may need to experiment to find optimal cache parameter
    values for your applications and machine environment. Here are some guidelines
    to keep in mind when selecting different values:
    The larger the (SliceSize * PerBlock) value, the more disk I/O is
    required for swapping individual blocks. The smaller the (SliceSize * PerBlock) value, the
    more likely it is that blocks will need to be swapped to or from disk.
    The larger the CacheBlocks value, the more memory is required, but the
    less likely it is that Swapping will be required.
    A reasonable experiment for determining optimal performance might
    proceed as follows:
    Keep the SliceSize >= 128 and vary PerBlock to give a range of block
    sizes from 1K through 8K.
    Vary the CacheBlocks value based upon available memory. Set it high
    enough to avoid disk I/O, but not so high that Windows begins swapping
    memory to disk.
    Gradually decrease the CacheBlocks value until performance degrades or
    you are satisfied with the memory usage. If performance drops off,
    increase the CacheBlocks value once again as needed to restore
    performance.
    [Fetch Parameters]
    FetchLimit = 20 (default)
    This entry specifies the number of elements of the array into which data
    is fetched from Oracle. If you change this value, all fetched values
    are immediately placed into the cache, and all data is retrieved from
    the cache. Therefore, you should create cache parameters such that all
    of the data in the fetch arrays can fit into cache memory. Otherwise,
    inefficiencies may result.
    Increasing the FetchLimit value reduces the number of fetches (calls
    to the database) calls and possibly the amount of network traffic.
    However, with each fetch, more rows must be processed before user
    operations can be performed. Increasing the FetchLimit increases
    memory requirements as well.
    FetchSize = 4096 (default)
    This entry specifies the size, in bytes, of the buffer (string) used for
    retrieved data. This buffer is used whenever a long or long raw column
    is initially retrieved.
    [General]
    TempFileDirectory = [Path]
    This entry provides one method for specifying disk drive and directory
    location for the temporary cache files. The files are created in the
    first legal directory path given by:
    1.The drive and directory specified by the TMP environment variable
    (this method takes precedence over all others);
    2.The drive and directory specified by this entry (TempFileDirectory)
    in the [general] section of the ORAOLE.INI file;
    3.The drive and directory specified by the TEMP environment variable; or
    4.The current working drive and directory.
    HelpFile = [Path and File Name]
    This entry specifies the full path (drive/path/filename) of the Oracle Objects
    for OLE help file as needed by the Oracle Data Control. If this entry cannot
    be located, the file ORACLEO.HLP is assumed to be in the directory where
    ORADC.VBX is located
    (normally \WINDOWS\SYSTEM).

    allocated an integral multiple of this space value. An example of an
    item to be stored is a field value of a dynaset.
    PerBlock = 16 (default)
    CacheBlocks = 20 (default)
    FetchLimit = 20 (default)
    FetchSize = 4096 (default)
    This entry specifies the size, in bytes, of the buffer (string) used for
    retrieved data. This buffer is used whenever a long or long raw column
    is initially retrieved.
    [General]
    TempFileDirectory = [Path]
    This entry provides one method for specifying disk drive and directory
    location for the temporary cache files. The files are created in the
    first legal directory path given by:
    1.The drive and directory specified by the TMP environment variable
    (this method takes precedence over all others);
    2.The drive and directory specified by this entry (TempFileDirectory)
    in the [general] section of the ORAOLE.INI file;
