Regarding Printing problem in SMARTFORMS (BarCode)

Dear All
I am trying to print a barcode using SMART FORMS.
In SPAD , some standard printers are there. But I am trying to print the output in HP DeskJet 3050 , which is not in the list. And one more , I am able to print the ABAP List from SAP , but not the SMARTFORMS only.
Because when I see the SP01 , SMARTFORMS o/p are in the OTF format.
Or any other setting missing

Hi all
I got the answer.
In transaction SPAD,for the output device you are using check the values entered for fields "Host spool access method" & "Host Printer".
If the method is "F-printing on frontend", then the expected value for the Host Printer is "__default"

I am Printing one smartform O/P. Print Preview is coming correctly in two pages. But When i am taking print First Page is Overlapping with some contents of Second Page ( in Stationary ).

Hi,
check ur printer settings.
Also check form attributes -> output options -> page format and other setting?
Is it dina4 and ur printer page size is A4 ?
There may be some conflict in page size of form and actual page size.

Problem with smartforms barcode printing

Hi,
In my smartforms i use a simply standard barcode (CD39__00)
for delivery number; but when i print there is no barcode, there is the dlivery number as number.
I'm in SAP ECC 6.0 so with the new barcode printing.
Where is the problem?

Hi - Sometimes if the height of bar code is small, then it prints the number instead of barcode. So please try to copy tht barcode into "Z" from se73 transaction and increase the height and then assign the new barcode to ur smartform. Doing this you will be getting the barcode printed on it.

Printing problem with script barcode

hi ,
     i hav inserted a barcode for a particular window field. while giving print preview it is showing barcode.
     after taking print, it is not displaying the barcode.

Hello,
In general, if you want to print a barcode, somebody must draw the bars
of the barcode to get a correct print. So there are four possible ways to
print barcodes from SAP:
1. Print e.g. via a Barcode DIMM/SIMM
To use this way, the printer must be able to print barcodes by itself so it
needs e.g. a special barcode SIMM/DIMM module to print the barcodes.
ie: HP printers do not contain barcode fonts by default so a DIMM module
with the fonts must be installed. The print works as follows:
The SAP sends a simple printer escape sequence to the printer, which activates
the barcode printing in the printer. Then the SAP sends the barcode number and
finally it sends a printer escape sequence, which switches the printer back to
normal printing. So in this way the bars of the barcode are created in the printer
(and you only see a dummy barcode in the print preview).

The correct BarDIMM modules for different HP printer models can be seen on
the JetMobile website at the URL below:

2. Print via a barcode.dll
If your printer doesn't have a barcode DIMM, it cannot create the bars of
the barcode itself. So this must be done elsewhere. One possibility is that
you print via a Windows system, SAPSprint or SAPLPD, device type SAPWIN and
a barcode.dll.
ie: Your printer is connected to a Windows system that runs the SAPSprint or SAPLPD program
If you print via device type SAPWIN, the creation of the print data is done in the Windows.
So the Windows may create a graphic, which contains the bars of the barcode, and send this
graphic to the printer.
The job to create the barcode graphic is done by the barcode.dll. So it is only needed, if
you want to print this way please see the following note for more information:

3. New barcode technology
If your printer doesn't have a barcode DIMM and if you don't want to use a barcode.dll,
you may use the new barcode technology, which is described in the SAP notes 645158 and 430887.
However this is only possible when printing from Smartforms.
In this way SAP itself creates a picture, which contains the bars of the barcode. This picture
is sent to the printer. One important requirement when you print the barcode via a Smartform
is that you have at least release 46C.
4. Use of a barcode font
There are some font files (e.g. Windows TTF files), which contains bars instead of characters.
So if you use these font files, the bars of the barcode are printed instead of a text.
You may buy such a font file, install it under Windows and use it via device type SAPWIN
according to note 48803. Since release 46C these files can also be uploaded into the SAP and
used via other device types.

Printing Problem in Smartforms

Hello Experts,
I am having the problem with printing the data in smartform.
My question is, suppose my preview is containing 6 pages.
But when i am giving the print command it is printing onlyone page.
I have already used command line in my form.

This error is faced generlly when output type has not been assigned to the document type.In sales order Follow the path
Goto-Extras-Output-Header-Edit.
Here mention the output type and communication medium and save the document.
Now try to issue the output.
I assume that you have maintain the output determination procedure in SPRO.
this requires configuration.
Configure the copied program name for your output type & this entry must be there in table TNAPR. Only then you will be able to issue the output..

when you are running the VF03 for seeing the print preview you have to do
Billing documents-->issue output to --> printer / screen
Now this is possible when the output type is already allotted for that .
For this check the navigation
Goto VF02 -> enter the invoice number , hit enter, from the Second screen
Goto>Header>output--> will land you to a table control screen.
Now here u need to give the output type and enter give the printer name in logical destination, and save.
Now do the Billing documents>issue output to->screen--> output type as 'ZXXX'
.and execute .

Print problem in SmartForm after upgradation.

Hello experts
iam getting a problem in printout from a Z program (Execution) in which some information regarding 'Delivery No.' and 'Invoice No.' is coming from VBFA table.
Can anyone tell me the reason for not getting the printout.
I was not getting the print preview either.
This problem is coming after we have shifted from oracle 9i to 10G. Previously it is running fine.
Even we have run that smartform alone without program and it was not working
please reply.

If you are just looking for the Document number then the tables
VBRP LIPS and VBAP are sufficient.
Please paste your select query for me to get a clear picture. anyways here is the flow
Table VBRP
VBRP-AUBEL = Sale order No
VBRP-AUPOS = Line item No
VBRP-VGBEL = Delivery order No
VBRP-VGPOS = Line item No

Layout printing problem in smartforms

I am working with voucher printing.The problem is when i select a format LETRA .it is saying that it is not supported by the printer.but that is the layout which has the desired size.what shall i do for it?

Mostly i guess this is the problem with the printer setting contact ur basis person to solve this issue.
i hop eu r aware of nace transaction and settng to be done ppz check thm wether they r configured properly...if u r not authorized check with ur functional guy

I am having problem in check Priniting program. Tcode is FCHN. Now Vendor name is not apperning on cheque.
After own spool Request the cheque data must appear. How will I get Script Name of the printing Program.
I have check in Tnpar but i am not getting Printing program name.

hi ,
i think you are using f110_prenum_chck standard script .Name of the print programme is RFFOUS_C.To find the name of the print program first copy the script and open the script in display mode then Settings>form painter->check the check box Graphical form painter -
>left side u can find 'texts' button--->click on it -
>dialog box will come (press enter ) ---> then it will show the details of print program and description.

Amount printing problem in smartform

Hi Experts,
I am developing the Invoice using smartform and i am printing the net amount in the output. In print preview it is ok, but while printing i am facing the misalignment in the amount field.
For Example:

Hi!
In your smartform
define Style for your smartform.
there create a paragraph format in which in the tab Indents and Spacing define the alignment as left-aligned .
save the style and activate it.
now go to your form and there where you are writing the text unit in that text node
go to the output options tab and rite your style name in the style input box.
then go to the general attributes tab and there in paragraph formats you can find your paragraph format that you have defined select in in the list box.
activate your form.
you will get the desired output.

Printing Problem in Smartform Payslip

Dear All,
I have developed a payslip in smartform and it is working fine but when select the printer (set up by the Basis People) and click on the Print Preview or the Print Button it is giving the status as NO VENDOR SPECIFIED. and leaves to the selection screen.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

how do you know it is working fine before you printed or print preview?
I suspect that you are doing something in the SF that requires a vendor and it doesn't have it at the right time. I would say see where vendor may be required and put a break-point before it to see if the value is there.

Printing problem in Smartform

I am printing smartform in dot matrix printer so i have change my page format as per need but than also at right side of page, out put not coming.

Hi,
In smarform either in Attributes/Output options you have one option called left margin and Right margin. Set that option in smartform which works for entire form.
If you want only for one paragraph check out in the Styles. You can find the same option for each paragraph format.

Goods Receipt Note - printing problems

Hi there
I have a couple of issues regarding printing problems for Goods Receipt Notes.
The 1st problem
Only the first line item is printed on the GRN, all the other line items are omitted from the GRN.
The 2 nd problem
When doing a Non-stock item GRN it does not print at all.
The 3 rd problem
Our stock count sheet only print 300 line items at a time and it is also not in sequence.
Another printing problem is with our picking list
Here what happens is that instead of the picking list skipping the "perforate section" at the end of each page, it just continious printing one stroke through without any intervals.
Then the last issue but with printing of Reservations, is that even though we have zero stock on hand, the reservations are still being printed. This causes a problem not only waisting paper, but we have to go through those lists to identify the actual reservations that can be issued.
Please can anybody help?

PS cc 2014 printing problem

Is there anyone has a solution regarding printing problem with Photoshop CC2014 ? Windows shuts the application as soon I choose print , ( any file, psd or jpeg ) ?

It just closes? No crash or anything? First thing I'd look at is printer drivers and either uninstall/reinstall or update if possible.
