Regarding Queries in PS for Client requirement
Hi,
The scenario is service industry ex. House keeping service, Gardening services
We are using Project system module for the above service industry.The modules which are being implemented apart from PS are SD, MM, FICO and HR.
The Project duration is normally 1 year. The client requirements are as follows:
1) Month Wise Performance of Planned and actual cost incurred are required for Resource (Man Power) and Materials
2) Planned Cost of the Man power should be based on the Gross salary/Month and No. of days allocated in the project. ( Client is not acceptable to go far the average cost for a group of employees and definning the same as activity type). Each person in the project will have different salary structure.
Pl let me know how to handle the the above scenarios.

I answer on the man power thing:
You will have to implement an HR mini master data set to use CATS to book the hours/days on the WBS elements. Then you have activity types with allocation to accounts per person.
You could do a monthly transfer of the hours and book everything in months close.

I went through the site and found there are so many applications of Peoplesoft.

So, i will request you please have a look to the application and confirm can we use this application for Oracle BI apps and will this application have dummy data so that we can see Pre-Built Dashboards and Reports.

For your requirement you have SD standard program available.if you go to transaction VF03 and give any billing document no. click"billing document at the top"=>issue output to=>screen..
you'll get a standard program print preview..
check the programs corresponding to it by system=> status=>program name..
u can copy that program and make alterations necessary..
if u want to proceed with ur customized reports...
these standard programs will help u in finind the exact variables from where u wannt to pull out the data for PO no,POdate,Vendor No... etc

Is OPL5 setting for 2LIS_04_P_MATNR required in each client?
I did settings in transaction OPL5 for the required plant and order type in my configuration client. This does not reflect in my test client in the same BW server.
The test client is locked down from changes and hence it does not allow me to make changes.
Has anyone faced this problem before?
Without this setting the datasource does not retrieve any data in my test client.

To transport the table entries in OPL5 try the following..
-Click on table view menu->transport and include the table view in a transport request and then transport to QA system.
-click on edit menu->transport->include in transport(somehow include in transport option is disabled in my system).

SCCM 2012 - Network requirements for Client communication to primary in a Cross Forest Environment
Hello, I have been trying to get some definitive answers on what network traffic is required between a client and a primary site versus a secondary in a cross forest scenario.
Here is the scenario:
Company A has an existing SCCM 2012 primary Site. Company B (Separate Forest) has now been brought in. One subnet on each side can route to each other and using that one subnet a two way forest
trust has been setup. But the remote offices have IP address overlaps between companies. At some point in the future all assets on company B will be re-IP and brought over to Company A domain. But in the interim it would be nice to get SCCM cross forest clients
working. Upgrading to a CAS model with two Primaries would not be preferred here as this is a temporary solution.
My questions are as follows.
If a secondary site is deployed into Company B Forest/Network. I have seen people online elude to that clients will still need to communicate to the Primary located at Company A, even though they
are assigned to a secondary on Company B’s network. Is this true? Is there any workarounds for this? Is a NAT back to the primary acceptable, or is reverse lookup required?
Will the Primary need to communicate directly to the clients in Company B? If this is in fact a requirement, then this would be a show stopper. But if its only needed for things like client pushes,
then we could work around it.

Technically, this is unsupported because clients, depending upon your boundaries, will not be able to find a local DP since they use IP addresses for this. The only way to work around this is to use AD Site boundaries.

Clients are *never* assigned to a secondary site -- that's not what secondary sites are for. Yes, clients require communication with an MP in the primary site where they are assigned. There is no way to change this or work-around this except to put
an MP from the primary site closer to those clients and use the new MP affinity option in R2 CU3.
Reverse lookups are only used to verify names by applications that wish to have this type of functionality (which are very few in number) and have nothing to do with true network traffic. NATing is an issue for the reason I gave above -- DP location.
Remote control, client push, and WoL won't work either because there is no way for the traffic to reach the destination behind the NAT.
All client *agent* communication in ConfigMgr is client initiated in ConfigMgr (remote control, client push, and WoL -- as just mentioned -- are sort of exceptions to this but they don't really involve the client *agent*.)

You use direct binding or use http soap call to access BPEL from OSB.

Yes, it will be soap over http.

Whether this is done through XQuery, XSTL? or plain java code with JDBC connection?
As said before you can keep it with DBAdapter.
I have few questions for you.
*1. What is the significance of using OSB and BPEL in your architecture?*
If you want to have better performanc, you can just use OSB without using BPEL.
OSB with DB adapter will do the job for you.
*2. Are you going to use just insert statement with your Database ?*
If yes, just go for DB adapter, or if you have to run logic, you can keep those logic inside a procedure and expose as procedure to bpel.
So that performance will be more.

Because all information I saw it´s about Server (Database, Server Application and others) and not very clever about P6 8.2 Client and P6 8.2 Web.I haven't seen PC requirements for a Win workstation per se either. Here are the only 8.2 client requirements I can find.

it depends how you updated existing field. We faced with the problem that update of taxonomy site column was not propagated to the lists. In Sharepoint when content type is bound to the list, new hidden content type is created for that list - you may check
it if will enumerate
SPList.ContentTypes property. And when you try to update site column changes may not be propagated to these list content types. In order to update it you need to get reference on a field from list content type and update if explicitly.

Can any one help me to add two more column for standard report that is purchase order and delivery dates for Internal order wise.
But here problem is when i checked with ABAP team they said there is no standard functional module to add two column.
Please note below :
Selection criteria is: 1) controlling area
2) Fiscal Year
3) From date and To date
4) Plan Version
5) Order Group.
My client suggested : S_ALR_87012993 this tcode to run, but we suggested with S_ALR_87013019 as in this tcode we can get all the details
That is required output fields, as it is showing all details but on yearly basis, he wants this to be period wise and also Abap team is not able to find standard functional module in the second tcode as well.

2) Budget
3) Actual
4) commitment
5) Alloted
6) Available
These are two additional column
7)Purchase order

As my client is very specific to run the report on period wise, i also tried to execute the standard tcode S_ALR_87013019 and were we are getting all the required outputs to pop up but this is on year wise, but we can also check by period basis by clicking on order number and actual period basis where we can see period basis.
Also one more question,what is the commitment table which is popping up in this, please advise.

During MIRO system shows the downpayment made to the vendor but it was not adjusted while creating vendor liability and extra budgets were consumed. If there is no extra budget then the system does not allow MIRO. In that situation we are clearing the vendor down payment through F-54, which made the availability of budget again and allow to do MIRO.
Is there any configuration in which vendor down payment shall be automaticaly adjusted during MIRO?Hi ,
In standar behaviour of the system you wont be able to achieve automatic adjustement of advances .
Kindly use the BADI - INVOICE_UPDATE to make the necessary enhancement that you are looking for .
In the BADI you can use the method - CHANGE_AT_SAVE for the same .
Discuss the same with you abaper as to how best you can make use of it.

No pop-up for client certificate in spite of icm/HTTPS/verify_client = 1
Dear experts,
on my WebAS 6.40 I have set icm/HTTPS/verify_client = 1 so that it requests a client certificate every time a new SSL connection is established.
However, only on one client machine with IE 6 I really get a pop-up asking for a client certificate. On all other machines there's no such pop-up. Although on ALL clients I have set the IE setting "Don't prompt for client certificate selection when no certificates or only one certificate exists" to "disable". The setting seems to be correct, because when I want to go the SAP Service Marketplace with these clients, this pop-up comes up with an empty list of suitable certificates.
Can anybode explain this to me? Why does the one browser open the pop-up and the others don't althought this one setting is identical? Why do the IE's that get the pop-up for the SAP Service Marketplace don't get the popup for my WebAS 6.40?

ChristianYou will have to check the specific service (probably in SICF) to see if the Logon Procedure is set to 'Required with Client Certificate (SSL).' Is this for a BSP page?

Purchase requisition not generate for dependent requirement after MRP run

In our MTO scenario after MRP run planned order generate for header material but no PR generate for BOM components, (BOM not explode) when we run MRP component level in MD02 PR generate, system showing message "40- No coverage not provided by master plan" in MD04 order tree. this problem coming after when we DIMP applied. I checked some OSS note also.
Can any one provide right solution.
