Regarding Scrollbar.....?

Hi all,
I m developing a alv report.after displaying the data in the grid in the footer the arrows column scrolling is in disable mode.
what i want is i want to fix 3 fields asleft fixed,and the remaing fields must scroll when i click on arrows.
firsr thing is ,how can we make enable those arrows for columnscrolling...

How to enable a scrollbar in a JPanel

I am adding some components in a JPanel and I am adding the JPanel to a JScrollPane.The JScrollPane is finally added to the container.Now I could manage to get only the scrollbars added but it does not work!How should I use the scrollbars to view all the components that are added inside the JPanel.

problem:
(we have 2 panels) of vertical
when i run this application it is working fine. But when we minimise the browser(half size) or if we add more no of toolbars in browser (important) obviously browser size will decrease,
that time 1 panel getting decreased second panel is maintaing fixed size, not resizing.
I tried to give fixed size (percentage) for both panels wt ever the operation does.

problem: that time im getting by default horizontal and vertical scrollbar, but if user add toolbars in browser (view->customize)add toolbar no of say 10-15 that time window size decreasing
so, table size is crossing panelbox size, and bottom scrollbar is not visible (hiding under site bottom layout say site is divided into 4 parts (leftmenu, body(2 panels), right, bottom) (im not using any right layout)

How to add vertical scrollbar to a tree region

Hi,
I have a page containing two regions. The first is a tree region displayed on the left hand side of the page. The second is form region displayed to the right of the tree, showing details relating to the selected node from the tree.
How can I add a vertical scrollbar to the tree, so that I can I browse all nodes in the tree without affecting the position of the form? Currently, if my tree extends beyond the height of the page I have to use the page vertical scrollbar to view the bottom of the tree. This obviously means that the form is no longer in view.

Hi Andrew,
You can't add a scrollbar directly to the region's contents, but you can wrap the contents within a DIV tag.
In the Region Header add in:
<DIV style="height:500px; overflow:auto">
In the Region Footer add in:
</DIV>
Obviously, change the height value to suit your needs.

I dnt get anything when i see the error, its like somewhere standard error. And are you trying to scroll horizontal or vertical scroll?
Any way, we can achieve scrolling through one application parameter called wdtablenavigation and its value is SCROLLBAR.
then you will get scroll bar for all tables in your component.
Once you double click on appplication,you will find parameters tab, there pass the above values.

Here I have a Problem regarding the creation of Table using CSS.
In My Application i have a table with multiple rows(Rows are Dynamically added to the table).First i am setting the table with the following properties:
width:900px;
height : auto,
Overflow : visible,
Max-height: : 200px.
If I use above properties,I'm getting a table with 5 or 6 rows(height upto 200px).After that i am getting the Vertical ScrollBar.
The problem is when a table has many columns, Vertical and Horizontal Scrolls are coming at the time of setting the table. The table height is not Increasing dynamically.
How can i use "height" property in CSS? (I want the table height to be increased when the columns are more.)

Hey humble user. Errr I'm trying to understand what ur trying to do. U want to create a section of a region destructively from an existing region right? If so select the option convert to new region (opt-comm-R or selecting it by right clicking). Check your audio bin to make sure. Whats the "merge" function? Are u refering to the glue tool?

i would like to know how to have an horizontal scrollbar for an interactive report (5.0) after making a pivot from the user interface; i have a lot of columns and without the pivot the horizontal scrollbar appears . After it doesn't appear.
I tried with the Region Header <div style="overflow:auto;"> and Region Footer </div> but without success.

Help with z program output and scrollbars

Morning all
We are running an ERP2004 SAP system, and we're having some problems with a z program. Basically it was a quick bit of code put together to check user names against the names stored in PA.
Now the problem is that when the report is output on a PC running its screen resolution at 1024x768, we can't see the last field output in the report and there's no horizontal scroll bar. If we run the program on a desktop with a screen resolution at 1280x1024, we can see the last column, so no need for the scrollbar and it's not output.
Now I thought SAP added the scroll bars automatically for you if you needed them? Has anyone come across this before, because I haven't and it seems very strange indeed!

and also u have to checl LINE-SIZE while defining the Report.

Page Viewer Web Part with horizontal scrollbar

Hi,
I added a page viewer webpart to a sharepoint 2013 website and placed a reporting services report url on it, however in some users the browser shows a horizontal scroll bar and cuts the report area. This is not version related because
I can see it well in IE10 in one user and in others it shows the reported problem.
Seems to be browser settings. Any ideas?

According to your post, my understanding is that some users’ browser shown a horizontal scroll bar in the page view web part.
You can disable the horizontal using the CSS style as the following.

</style>
Note: the WebPartWPQ3 is the webpart ID.

Instead of using page viewer web part, you can also use the content edit web part with IFrame, and some JavaScript to achieve it.

How do I change the width of the x-scrollbar for a waveform graph?

I have a LV7.1 application that contains a waveform graph and must be usable on several PC with widely varying screen resolutions. I have decided to position and scale the front panel objects programatically, including the graph itself. The appearance of the graph is satisfactory on all screens, except for the x-scrollbar. The width of the x-scrollbar does not change when I change the size of the graph. I cannot figure out how to change the width of the scrollbar programatically to match the adjusted size of the graph. Any suggestions?

I don't think that you can change the width of the x axis scroll bar programatically. One thing you could do though is create your own scrollbar and change it's properties as your program runs. I wrote a quick example of how you could do this and I've attached it to this thread.

Removing scrollbars on the JSP page of frames created by included JSP files

Hi All,
In the iternet sales B2B application which we are developing, has a blank JSP file. Wherein we are adding other JSP files on it, loading trough JS.
When we are adding it is making the various jsp files in the form of the frames, and each frame has different JSP page. So it is adding scrollbars on each frame if the size of the page exceeds the size of frame.
we don't want the scrollbars. Kindly suggest to remove these scrollbars, and all the pages should look as a single JSP page.

MS Word 2007 insert table with vertical scrollbar?

Hi all, what is the best way when creating a word report to display a table that has alot of rows. I am wondering if it somehow possible to have a table in Word that has say 10 rows shown to the user but also has a vertical scrollbar that the user can move up and down to see more data.
If not possible, can anyone think of a solution?

Thanks for the replies. Gaurav k, i was toying with the idea of using Excel but since i have many rows, it would not be the best way to create a report. My report does not have to be printed, only asved hard copy. But i do have many tables in addition to graphs etc to view and therefore being able to look at a report that is easy on the eye initially and if faults were found, the user could then look further into the tables. ie perhaps scroll through the many rows.

Problem with datagrid horizontal scrollbar

I am facing problem with Datagrid HorizontalScrollBar.
As per requirement i need to seperate the Horizontal and verticalscroll bars from grid.
So what i did was, i created HScroll & VScroll components and associated them Datagrid scroll bars. I made HorizontalScrollPolicy and VerticalScrollPolicy "off" for datagrid.
As i binded values to HScroll & VScroll components which are out side of datagrid, i should be able to scroll datagrid using those components.
Its working fine for VScroll. When i scroll VScroll component am able to scroll datagrid vertically.
Problem is with HorizontalScrollPolicy in datagrid, when i change the policy to "on" i can see the scrollbar down to datagrid and able to scroll. once i change the policy to "off", datagrid columns are getting resized and datagrid width will set back to its container width without scrollbar, because of this there will be no HorizontalBar for datagrid to assiciate with HSCroll Component.

1. Try calling setEnabled(true); on the scrollbar
2. Check that you need to scroll. If efffectively the knob (as the API docs call it) is larger than the scrollbar, it probably won't be shown.

Flash page scrollbar.

Pleeeeeeaaaaaaseeeeeee Help!
I have a flash movie which is taller than the browser window,
but rather than it being scrolled by the browsers default scrollbar
I want to create a scrollbar swf file which will control the
scrolling of the movie within the movie.
How can I achieve this? does anyone know of any downloadable
