Called to Cancel, was talked into a discount plan and now I'm being told the discount isn't applicable to the plan I just signed up for??
On August 22nd I called to cancel my service being that my contract was over. My logic was simple. I really didn't use the phone enough to justify a $87/month payment. The young lady on the phone was very nice and presented to me the $60 plan that is unlimited talk and text with standard data package. After I told her where I work now since my old employee discount had expired she pulled up the data and said "good news, your new company also has a 22% discount with Verizon". After we did the math together she said that with the discount I'd be saving over $30 a month doing this plan with the employee discount.
Everything has been great so far. I went out and upgraded my phone to a new Iphone 5C, paid the upgrade fee of $30 and the tax on the free phone. Now this month I go to pay my bill at its at $63. I call and the rep tells me I was misinformed and that the $60 plan is a promotional plan and the employee discounts do not apply.
I'm stuck now since its been over 30 days since I signed up for the plan. The rep on the phone I spoke to today is very pleasant (his name was Kelley) and has tried all options to help but no option helps me pay an extra 22% out of pocket for the next 2 years!
I'm demanding that the 22% be honored in monthly or lump sum discounts. OR let me walk away like I wanted to do before without a any cancelation fees! I've been with Verizon 9 years now and have always been loyal. Not sure this event will keep me around a minute longer than I have to be!
Please help! Review the phone call from August 22nd and stand behind what your employee told the customer.....

You may have a dirty lens on the optical reader, you can try a DVD/CD cleang disk (available at most places that sell DVD/CD players, some canned moisture free compressed air, or a buisness card wrapped in a micro fiber cloth to try to wipe the lens clean.

I have been using the Firefox feature in which I could have multiple sets of tabs open but see only the set I was working with. I updated and now feature is gone. I had a small icon on the upper right side of my toolbar. I used it all the time to keep separate windows for news, financial items, travel plans, etc. Has this been removed from Firefox?

If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first... -

I just bought apple i phone 4 10 days back from AT &T Retail outlet, then I set up account on itune and i saw to update the software version and i did it to 4.3.3, after that I am facing two problem 1) Battery is draining like water and 2) while I was talking on phone with family and friends It turn off automatically, Initially I thought I might made some mistake but afterward I noticed that It happen again and again without I touch anything on screen or at phone. I guess Apple suppose to do something and help the customers, anyway but I am still under 30 days warranty period I am going to return it back and I guess may be there are lot of other options available comparing iphone4. but Lets wait what kind of solutions apple bring to me.

No matter what the product, there will always be some off the line that are defective. It's a fact of life.
The phone has a 1 year Warranty, not 30 days. I'm sure they'll be happy to replace it for you.
Now, that said, have you bothered to sync the phone to make sure you don't have to come back whining because you got your phone replaced and now you can't find your stuff? -

If you can turn it off, do so and put the device in a sealed bag of uncooked rice for 3-5 days. After that, you can try and charge it and see if it will work. I was so excited about apple pay and now setting it up and boom 8 cards and you are done is that the wallet replacement they thought they'll do? really? I mean most people have 10-15 cards at least and I am, well because of my side business I have lots so 8 is nothing to me!
Not sure what you are saying. I was able to very quickly set up my AmEx card - no problems at all. For my PNC and Macy's cards, companies still working on being ApplePay-ready.
It will happen, just not as fast as we might like, but I think it is going to be fabulous. -
I did update on phone and now it wont even turn on... It shows the charger being plugged into I tunes.... At this point I am not sure if I need to just do a factory reboot or what....AT this point I cant do anything through phone... It has to be done by my computer ... Anyone know how... my iPod was originally connect to an old HP. The HP has since died and now I own a Macbook pro. I want to transfer the music from my iPod (originally synced with the HP) to my Macbook Pro. Is this possible without losing the music on my iPod?
Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. It will recognize the iTunes library on the PC as a new library. If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library. So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.

It can't do that by itself. You had to click through several prompts telling it to restore it from a backup of an old phone for that to happen.
If the phone was not backed up to iCloud before this happened, or to another computer, then the data is gone. There is no way to recover it.
