Regarding Search Results

Question

Hi All,
The Search returns the result as --> Item and Description .
Now I added extra column UnitsAvailable Qnty to above columns
Now I need to Sort the UnitsAvailabel Qnty Column to above search functionality
This is related iStore Product Search Page.
How Can I do it?
Please share your ideas.............

Sorry David it wouldn't work.
Maybe I will go throught the steps.
Page 1: Search by location - has three dynamic drop down
menus, one named industry, one category and one location.
I have the industry as Form Variable: Type; category as Form
Variable: Category and location as Form Variable: Code.
I use the Post method and in my recordset query like this:
SELECT * FROM listingf
WHERE listingf.status = 'active' AND (listingf.classcatid
LIKE '%Category%' AND listingf.categorytype LIKE '%Type%' AND
listingf.inv_state LIKE '%Code%')
and in the parameters box I use the names Type, Category,
Code with the default value as "=" and the Run-time as
$_POST['Type'], $_POST['Category'], $_POST['Code'] corresponding.
It works except when you want to move onto the next page -
the paging won't work. Should I change the paging to $_POST instead
of $_GET??
It works if I have my form set to $_GET and all other
corresponding to $_GET.
I also have the same problem with my searchbox on every page
for keyword.
It works well with all being $_GET.
So is there anyway to change this or make my forms more
secure because it wants the URL method not form?
Hope it makes sense.
