Reinstatement SKUs for CUCCX upgrade + SWSS activation

Hello,
we would like to have some help regarding a CUCCX upgrade and the subsequent SWSS activation.
Currently, we have a CUCCX 8.x Premium + HA.
Now, since we don't have ESW/UCSS coverage, we have read somewhere that, to activate SWSSs, a license reinstatement is mandatory, by ordering some reinstatement SKUs.
We have tried to have a look at the "Ordering Guides", but we have found explicit references to reinstatement SKUs only for CUCM, but not for CUCCX.
So, we have these questions:
Which are these reinstatement SKUs for CUCCX (in particulat for our case)?
Are they "simply" upgrade SKUs?
Are there special SKUs by which it's possible to make the upgrade at a favourable cost?
Is there a document that lists the reinstatement SKUs for CUCCX?

Reinstatement SKUs are usually for CUCM, CUWL or UCL licenses. If you do not have UCSS/ESW or SWSS coverage on your UCCX software you can order what are called direct upgrade SKU(s). They are "usually" cheaper than the full cost of the software. When you place an order for the appropriate upgrade you can then attach a SWSS contract for future upgrades.
For example if I were upgrading to UCCX v10.0 I would first order the top level upgrade part number of CCX-10-UPG-K9 then the appropriate upgrade SKU for the number of "seats" I was upgrading. So for UCCX 8.x to 10.x upgrade I would then order the the sub-level part number of CCX80-10U-P-P-S1 times the # of seats.
I would contact your local partner or account team so that they can provide you the appropriate SKU(s) and cost for your specific upgrade.

This business functions comes under the technical usage 'Central Applications'
So does it mean that, selecting only the Central Application as the usage type, enough for BP activation

I'm glad to hear you'll be taking advantage of an alternate upgrade on your lines. As previously mentioned, this can be done directly from My Verizon, where you can compare up to five devices and decide which device is perfect for you. Keep in mind you'll first select the line that is eligible for an upgrade. Once this is done you will get an option to choose the line where the device will be activated. I spoke with "customer service" for more than a half an hour today, Char promised me that her supervisor (Emily) would call me back by 7:30 tonight to clear up this problem. Well guess what? We have completed our first upgrade of FA from 10.7 SC to 11i. Most issues arose from the introduction of WorkFlow for Account Generator. In addition we have had difficulty activating the "security by book" new feature. This is still under investigation. We upgraded PO, AP, FA and GL. I can say that more than half of our time has been spent resolving FA issues.
The length of time the task will take will depend on which functionality you use. Have you seen the upgrade kit on metalink? it has all the upgrade steps. From that you could determine how many steps you need to perform.

Secondary hidden Fees/charges? for giving upgraded att phone to friend

I have a dumbphone nokia (no data plan) that's elgible for an upgrade from att.
My friend wants to use my upgrade to get the samsung galaxy s2 since I don't need a smartphone.
Are there any hidden fee/charges from Best Buy if I:
1) upgrade my dumbphone nokia to the samsung galaxy s2 with data plan
2) give phone to my friend who's NOT in my family plan
3) downgrade my phone back to a dumphone nokia and CANCEL my DATA PLAN
From what I understand, many third party resellers etc have a secondary contract with hidden fees/charges. For example, if I upgrade with amazon wireless, I'm agreeing to att's 2 yr committment, as well as Amazon wireless's own contract where I'll be charged additional fees if I give deactivate the phone and give the phone to someone else within X days.

And (F): The fee is NOT HIDDEN, it is listed on every phone posted online if you are logged in looking at the device. (If not logged in, the system does not know if you are a new sub or a current sub. The charges for activation of a new account and an upgrade are different)
It is on the tag next to each phone at the corporate stores
It is listed in the summary of charges BEFORE completing your order during the confirmation screen.
As for price matching other providers... WHY? Their coverage and lack of 4G service does not deserve to even have the thought of having VZW match their device prices. If ya like their device prices better, as price is obviously the only thing you are looking at, why didn't you just go with Sprint or TMobile.
VZW is the number one provider for a number of reasons and last quarter added many more NEW POST PAID subs than all others combined with the lowest churn rate in the industry. Simply they have no reason to price match.

Am i elidgable for an upgrade?

i bought my iphone off of ebay before may 27. I want to buy the new iphone 3g and sign a contract. My problem is i bought my iphone off of ebay as a unlocked unit, and already have a contact for my perl cell phone (which expires in more than a month). My question is I do own a iphone, do i still qualify for the upgrade? I've only been using the iphone but stupidly i never registered it. Whats killing me now is that i dropped the iphone and broke the digitizer so the entire phone no longer works and i currently have no phone and a month plus before i can be "elidgeable" according to cingular for the iphone 3g.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as i really really loved my iphone, but cannot afford the 499 price.

Owning a first generation iPhone is not the only criteria required to qualify for AT&T's upgrade or subsidized pricing on the iPhone 3G.
A first generation iPhone must also be activated with AT&T which requires the $20/mo unlimited data plan.
If your existing contract with AT&T expires in a month, you should qualify for upgrade pricing on a new phone now. Or you don't qualify for upgrade pricing on a new phone for another 30 days?
You can purchase a cheap gophone in the interim to place and receive calls until you do qualify for upgrade pricing on a new phone including for the iPhone 3G.
The mere fact of owning an phone - especially an unlocked iPhone that was not activated with AT&T does not make you upgrade eligible.

Authorizations are assigned to users in profiles. Profiles are stored in the user master record.

Does the user who would like to change the screen have the authorisation
for S_DEVELOP in his profile? Please run transaction /NSU53 after the
failed authorisation. You will get an information which authorisation
is missing.
Additional please check if you have open entries in transaction SPAU for
that object.
If you couldn´t solve the issue I need an user to analyse it in your
development system.
That user needs all authorisation for development and has to be
registrated as developer.
The system uses the authorization object S_DEVELOP for Workbench objects
can you please check your user master record whether it contains the
required autorization or not.
Please also ensure that modification adjustment is turned on as per note:

Does CS5 upgrade require activation?

About 10 days ago, I received CS5 Master Collection Upgrade.
It was then installed successfully in the same folder of CS4 Supreme.
When I opened CS5 Photoshop (and other prorams), Adobe CS Master Collection Trial page popped up and asked me to type in serial number.
It is odd to see that I got to type in serial number again.
I wonder CS5 upgrade needs activation (like what we do for installing Windows 7). hummer

During upgrading, I do not recall that there was an option for 30 trial.
It just prompted to type in serial number.
Even though CS4 (or adobe folder) was already on my C-drive, the CS5 Master CollectionUpgrade ignore it.
I was forced to type in s/n. That was what I did.

Discount pricing, but not eligible for an upgrade?

My dads phone doesnt have an upgrade untill 4/24/12, but yet it says hes eligible for a discount and when I call up they always say his line is eligible for an upgrade. What is this discount pricing and how does it work if he still doesnt have an upgrade for another half a year.

The NE2 discount is an additional $30,$50, or $100 discount (the amount depends on your calling plan - you'll have to call Verizon to get this information) So if you wait until April 2012, your dad's line will have that additional discount to put towards a new phone.
You can't "steal" upgrades. All you really do is purchase the phone on the eligible line, and activate it on another one.
You can use his annual upgrade now if you want, just remember it will be the 2 year contract pricing + an additional $20 fee for upgrading early. Also remember that doing so will void any and all NE2 discount he may have.
If you use his upgrade now, make sure you activate the phone on HIS line first (since you will purchase it on his line, his contract is extended another 2 years, and you must accept the terms of service by activating it on his line) and then you can activate it on yours. This process goes for using anyone else's upgrade other than your own.

How can I upgrade my iCloud account's storage but pay for the upgrade with another Apple ID?

I want to upgrade my iCloud account so that I can back-up my iPhone, however I would like to pay for the upgrade using a different Apple ID than the Apple ID associated with my iCloud account. I don't think that's possible. (If you're trying to get it on another credit card, one option would be to purchase an iTunes gift card with it and redeem it to create an iTunes store credit. Storage upgrades will first charge your iTunes store credit before charging your card.)

I can't find a dv5-1198de but I did find a dv5-1198er which should be similiar. It states up to 8 gb of ram. HERE
I would try www.Crucial.com for suggested memory ,you can use their Scanner Tool to let it detect what you have and what you can upgrade/replace with.
