Reject of sales order position, but the confirmed quantity doesnu00B4t change

Hi gurus,
when I reject a sales order position, the confirmed quantity doesn´t change in the schedule line. Internally, after the position is rejected, the available quantity of the material increases in the position quantity, but the schedule lines of the position doesn´t change.

    Hi,
    Rescheduling run will only snatch away confirmed quantity from a Sales Order if there is another  Sales Order/ STO with higher "priority" seeking stock for delivery.
    Rescheduling "priority" can be set by sequencing parameters like Document Category, Delivery Priority, Creation date, Document Number, Item Number as per the business logic you want.
    I would suggest to first have a look at MD04 for the material in question and check the stock allocation.
    You can find out which documents have snatched the confirmation from the order in question.
    You should be able tp pin point the issue, using this.

    I am having to deal with a similar issue.
    The allocated quantity needs to be reset, so that the quantities can be allocated again according to the checking rule for product allocation.
    This is probably not clear anymore, I am also totally confused now, so I'll add an example.
    Example:
    SCENARIO 1: Rejected item quantity not available to earlier order:
    Assume product ABC is on a monthly allocation plan at a channel level
    Available units = 100 units
    Allocation plan = 50 units for Channel1, 50 units for Channel2
    Assume all orders in this scenario are for one channel
    1.     Order 1 is entered
    Qty of 40     confirmed from ATP check, confirmed from allocation check
    RESULT: allocation of 40 units is consumed, available allocation = 10 units
    2.     Order 2 is entered
    Qty of 20     confirmed from ATP check, confirmed for 10 units from allocation check
    Remaining 10 units unconfirmed
    RESULT: allocation of 10 is consumed, available Allocation = 0 units
    Unconfirmed order quantity = 10 units
    3.     Order 1is rejected
    line item for Qty 40 is rejected
    RESULT: available allocation = 40 units
    4.     Order 3 is entered
    Qty of 40     confirmed from ATP check, confirmed from allocation check
    Allocation of 40 is consumed
    RESULT: allocation of 40 is consumed, available allocation = 0
    5.     Rescheduling is run for this product (order creation date determines priority in the queue)
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Order 2 has highest priority and would be committed for 20 units, leaving 30 units for Order 3
    Order 3 Commit quantity 30, unconfirmed quantity 10
    Order 1 Line item was rejected, (no committed quantity)
    RESULT:
    Order 2 - Commit quantity 10, unconfirmed = 10 (as available allocation 0)
    Order 3 - Commit quantity 40
    Order 1 - Line item was rejected
    So I need to reset the allocated quantities first...

    I have created  a customer of organization type using the customer API.I have also created a location and a customer account and account site as well
    The created values are loaded into the HZ tables and are visible in the tables such as hz_parties, hz_party_sites, hz_party_sits and so on.
    But the issue is that I cannot find the customer in the customer web form in the receivables.but at the same time it is visible in the sales order screen in the order management.
    so please, someone help me resolve this issue.

    Hallo ByD community
    We are using service type "Service - time and material" in our sales orders and we are using the integrated time recording in the self-service (time sheet) to track actual times for an sales order. For that you have to assign a service performer in the sales order position, so that the person is able to enter acutal times for this sales order Now it can happen that not only one person, but a team (or two or more people) has to record times for this sales order position.
    is that possible and if not what would you suggest.
    F.e.. in project management you can activate time recording for a project task for several people.

    It is not possible to enter more than one service performer for a service in sales order .
    But you can  perform the service with two people and have two service confirmations.
    The time entered in service confirmation will be reflected in invoice only(if time and material).
    Also you cannot enter the time sheet with respect to sales order , it is only valid for project task and
    and time types.

    The FM BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE is not working properly as I am getting below error when try to update the reason for rejection at sales order item level.
    The delivery is done for this salesorder. Is it because the reason for rejection field is not as an input field when delivery done?
    error in return table is " Field 'ABGRU' cannot be changed, VBAPKOM 000010  ready for input"

    Yes, Most likely.. You can confirm this by trying to change a order without delivery and see if it goes thru (to ensure that you have passed correct parameters)...
    you may have to delete the delivery (and if billing document exist, cancel it), before you can reject the line item... it would be safer to raise an error message and let the users manually delete delivery document as long as you don't have large volumes of this scenario..

  • How can we reject a Sales order after first Down payment invoice for Italy?

    As a legal requirement in Italy the Down paymenty have to be transformed into real invoices, another legal requirement is that an invoice cannot be cancelled it has to reversed by a credit memo.
    I would like to know in this context how we can reject a sales order line once a Down payment invoice has been emitted.
    When I do enter a reason for rejection in the sales order line I receive the message : V1036: Subsequent documenst exist for item XXX and then V2432 Cancellation not possible. Down payment request already created.
    I can create a down payment credit memo in order to cancel the down payment invoice but how can I get rid of my SD requirement in MD04 if I cannot reject the sales order line?

    I'm trying to get the 3rd Party Sales Order process to work and I would like it to create the PO automatically (it is already creating the requisition without issue). I have:
    i) Set the Auto PO on the Item Category
    ii) Set the ALE paramenters asociated with the Sales Org definition
    iii) Set the Auto PO on the Vendor Master
    iv) Set the Auto PO flag on the Purchasing tab of my NLAG material
    v) Created a Vendor Info record
    BUT I still don't get a PO being created automatically .... can anyone see where the problem may be?

    I have since confirmed that I can trigger a PO creation by running ME59N BUT the PO is not created automatically when I save the sales order despite what the help text on the item category implies.
    I think I have already done every you have suggested and even a little more, or maybe I'm missing something? Do I need to do something with ALE - turn something on perhaps? Have you actiually seen this functionality working? I'd love to hear from someone who has.

    Dear Master , anyone know for a  Sales Order been deleted but the Demand still appear on MD04, I even tried as below but still no solution
    -  ran report SDRQCR21 in SE38 that cleared up the demand.
    - Try rerunning MRP with planning mode 3
    - Mark delivery complete for the order.and make rejection in the sales order by entering the reason.

    1) Please check any Open delivery is exist for the order, if yes delete the Delivery
    2) Close the order by order rejection
    3) run SDRQCR21 in SE38 with data transfer , planning file entry and  processing per material tick
    4) This will remove the planning file entry and demand and run MRP
    5) If problem still exist , then raise a Question  to SAP with the help of Basis

    Please, can anyone give an idea @ the cause of error ?? whether it is frame error ?? or else???

  • AR invoice and Sales order # to be the same

    this is an email from one of our customers, and we cannot confirm if it is possible. Can someone help?
    We require the AR Invoice # to be the same as the Sales Order Invoice #, so that the Account Statement shows information (the original Sales Order #) that the client understands. If the Account Statement were a little more flexible, we might be able to get around this issue, but it is hard to change the SAP account statement.
    Currently we manually copy the S/O # over from Every Sales Order as we copy the S/O to A/R. This is inefficient & should not be necessary.
    Plus, we want to automatically copy one of the dates over from the S/O. Surely other businesses want to copy over a S/O date to the AR Invoice (for instance, to fill in the Document Date field of the AR invoice - ie. the document date of the S/O).
    The Bug in SAP is that you can not AUTOMATICALLY retrieve the SO# (using a Formatted Search) BEFORE saving the AR Invoice.
    This whole issue also applies to copying over POs to A/P Invoices.
    (AFTER saving the AR Invoice on the database, my formatted search CAN pick up the original SO#, but by then it is too late, because the AR Invc # has to be Specified BEFORE saving the AR Invc)

    Regarding the manual Invoice number to be equal to the original based Sales order Number AND
    providing that you only work in a 1-2-1 relation between the two sales document:
    Settings:
    Create the following query: SELECT $[$38.44]
    Link that query to the invoice number field, refreshed automatically on 'series, Displayed Saved-User defined values
    Process:
         The user opens a new sales invoice
         The user choose the Business Partner
         The user choose u2018copy from a sales orderu2019
         The user change the series from u2018primaryu2019 to u2018manualu2019 -> this trigger the query
    Regarding the invoice posting date = based sales order posting date:
         Settings:
              Create the following query: SELECT CONVERT(CHAR,T0.DocDate,103)  FROM ORDR T0 WHERE T0.DocNum =  $[$8.0.0]
              Link that query to the invoice posting date field, refreshed on u2018Seriesu2019, Displayed Saved-User defined values
         Process:
              When the user change the series to manual, the based sales orderu2019s posting date will automatically overwrite the invoice posting date.
    This solution does not cater for an invoice created directly (Not based on Sales Order). But you have here a basic idea on how to solve your issue, thus easily can improve the solution.
    Tested on 2007A PL42.

    I understand that the "variant configuration" data (chosen values for each characteristics assigned to material) from a sales order is stored separately with reference of an object in SAP.
    Please let me know how SAP stores such data -source in the database tables.
    This is required to draw a report of these charateristics values for various sales orders (Transactional data).
    I also understand that there are function modules to retrieve this data, but the function modules are unable to retrieve data as accurately as the VA03 program.

    I do not know what a reference charactersitcs is,but there are all independant characeristics in terms of their values.
    A guess it is because the VC data is changed after the sales order is created, the updated VC data is displayed properly only in VA02 or VA03 but other function modules fail to display the updated VC data.
    I understand there is a relationship of instance -between sales order object and VC data object-which we need to update and then see the latest data.
    Please let me know if anyone has debgged VA03 to know how the standard SAP program retrieves VC data in a sales order.
