Hi There, I would like to insert an html animation created with adobe edge in a iweb page, but when I insert html code fragment appears in a blank white background. the process to get the html code is: Subject to the edge in html file, and then, to know the code to enter, open it with dreamweaver. control with "live view" that the graphics and animation behavior is correct, click on "live code" and copy it entirely. drag the widget in iweb "html snippet" on the page and glue it all and I click on apply.

Hi Guys,
I need to generate the XML from Excel file. The XML file will have the definition like this:

The Excel file will look like this:

All the values in name,birthdaye,gender will come from the Excel file. I am having 100 rows in the Excel file with the data and I want to parse this excel file and create the XML file with the above template.
Any ideas how to do this?

there are tons of ways to do what you need. It all depends on how your workflow is organized and how complicated it may become.
Alternative 1:
Export your Excel file as a cvs and convert cvs to XML (which shouldn't be so hard).
Pro: Relative easy transformation.
Con: Every time you want to convert the Excel file to XML you first needs to export it out of Excel by a manual step.
Alternative 2:
Save you Excel file as XML (e. g. the new *.xslx documents) and transform it as you like.
Pro: Very clean way to do this. You can access the single source Excel file directly from Java. No further steps needed.
Con: It's very very hard to program because the Excel xml structure is ridiculously complex.
Alternative 3:
You can create a little Excel VBA Script which generates the XML File.
Pro: Easy programing.
Con: Needs some experience in Visual Basic 6 programming.
Alternative 4:
Use http://jexcelapi.sourceforge.net/ or any other Excel-API to Access the Excel application out of Java.
Pro: Clean way to do it. You need no further manual actions to prepare something. (maybe the most flexible and at the same time easyest way)
Con: Additional license.

Further investigation on this, I have noticed that in our QA system, where "Conversion of Source System names after the transport" : O screen, we have columns
Original Source System, Target Source System, 7.0, Description(I guess, since no name is found)
Everything looks fine to me with reference to actual techinical names of source/target system...
My question there is a check box on column "7.0", which is UNCHECKED. Is this correct?
My understanding is that, this check box needs to be CHECKED, since this is related " Only Valid for RSDS, TRFN and DTPA Objects ". Is this correct?
If yes, Can I check this box in QA system, save and retransport my requests. If so, what happens to standard BW objects i.e., transfer ruels, update rules etc...
OR do i need to create another entry with same source/target system and check the 7.0 box.
OR do i need to create 3 entries with same source/target system and check 7.0 box for each entry i.e., RSDS, TRFN, DTPA.
Finally, please advise the exact steps that need to be taken here...pros and cons

Yes you need to check the checkbox as it is related to Data sources and transformation and DTPs. you can mark the check box if your client is modifiable, if not you need to transport the setting from DEV. Go to
SPRO > Business Intelligence>Transport Settings--> Change Source system name after transport.
you also need to maintain the Source system IDs .

Hi All,
I was testing JMS to Flat file scenario, and facing issues with the following error. Do you have any idea about this error.
Along with my input file I am passing JMS Message properties, based on the certain properties JMS Message Selector identifies the interface.
But currently the message is getting failed in adapter level itself.
Error :-

Having problems when exporting to pdf. PLEASE HELP!!!!
Hi everyone!
I used the business resume template to make my own. When I export it as a Pdf, however, it looks really really bad. Ive got a slight idea of why this happens: Acrobat converts the helvetica.dfont (only for mac) into TTF files so it can embed the fonts. This causes the font to skew and lose its real kerning and everything becomes a mess. I also tried to go to print, then hit preview, then save it as PNGs and then create a pdf based on images but i still get a way lower quality than the one on pages. I even tried to open the helvetica.dfont file on fontlab and then generate an opentype (Otf) font to see if I could get a better result but it seems to happen the same.
I forgot to say I need to email it, that's why Im trying to get a way to get people Im sending it to to see it the exact same way even if they dont have the font installed on their computers - which is the most possible scenario.

It's not simply the PDF version, its as well how the PDF is made. On prepress lists this has been discussed for a decade and a half.
The intelligent font model of the Unicode Consortium and the intelligent profile model of the International Color Consortium are expressed as tagged file formats, but the PostScript interpreter ignores tagged file formats. Adobe Acrobat Distiller is an Adobe PostScript interpreter.
In order to present the tagged file format of the intelligent font model to the PostScript interpreter, the tags that contain the semantics for the imageable shapes are stripped and the tag that contains the imageable shapes is subset. The intact tags of the intelligent font file are not embedded.
In order to present the tagged file format of the intelligent profile model to the PostScript interpreter, the tags are also subset and tag that corresponds to the relative colourmetric transform with black point compensation, which is the transform in PostScript colour management, is embedded.
If PostScript is not intermediate format, the tagged file format of the intelligent profile model may be embedded in PDF 1.3 and higher, but the tagged file format of the intelligent font model may only be embedded in PDF 1.6 and higher, and only with Microsoft line layout logic, not with Apple line layout logic.
What Acrobat reports as embedded fonts is not easy to relate to what the original font was. If the original font data was TrueType housed in the tagged file format of the intelligent font model, and if PostScript was intermediate, the font data itself may have been transformed to PostScript Type 1 before embedding, or the font data may stay TrueType but packaged as a PostScript Type 1 font program dictionary per the Type 42 Specification.
If you want to know what Type 42 refers to, then it is a reference to a passage in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Which is probably the lay of the logic, too .

You can find lots with just straight filmstrip tutorials and even some film strip templates...probably images of real ones for that matter... that can be used if you do a Google search. Same goes for the other frames.
The tutorial I have linked below is using Photoshop. With the exception of doing the transform<warp step, everything can be done using elements. There are other tutorials that build a more detailed filmstrip but I like this one because it shows how to make a wavy filmstrip.

Since transform warp isn't available in Photoshop Elements, you'll have to use the displacement filter (filter<distort<displace) to make the filmstrip wave if desired.
Above is the displacement map, I made to make my film strip wave. This was made by filling a layer with black and painting a couple of white lines with using the brush tool with a soft wide tip. I duplicated this layer and saved it as a PSD on my desktop. Displacement maps must be in PSD format. I used this map along with these settings: 0 hoizontal; 50 vertical; stretch to fit; repeat. Note: You must have soft edges to get a wave effect with this filter. If you use hard edges this filter will cut instead of bend.
Filmstrip images are some CG art I created.
Frame made using the tutorial.
Warped with displacement filter using the displacement map of two blurred lines.
Added a perspective by using free transform as in the video along with a hand made drop shadow to ground the filmstrip. Background was also cropped.
Final step was to simplify (rasterize) the gradient fill layer that I used over my background layer. I added a little noise with Add<Noise to my simpified (rasterized) gradient fill layer to get rid of the gradient banding.
Playing with a different perspective angle because it's kind of fun. Some of the shadow is lightly masked to make it fade a bit where the strip rises. -
Association rules Java API (non-transactional data)

I am looking at the demo java program (dmardemo.java) for association rules.
This iconverts the data from transactional format to non by using a nested column.
In my case the data are already non-transactional do I have to create a nested column or the model can be build based on the original columns?

I am a newbie to SEM. I was put into a SEM project that my company is implementing. I have gone through internal training but still I have some questions.
1. How does 'fields to be changed'/'fields for conditions' relate to single/multiple selections?
2. What is meant by 'internal creation of planning packages'?
3. Is FOX related to transformation library?
4. Is Data Slice in same as that in BW?
5. Where can I find more information to better understand BPS? I am more BW than BPS. My colleagues passed me some course manuals but I need more foundation materials. Any useful links?
Hope you gurus could throw me some hints.

Fields to be changed typically have only single or range values for source values and single values for target values.
Fields for conditions usually support multiple selections.

When you execute a planning function, the data of the planning package is processed in subsets. Those subsets are created by BPS. The users does not see them. If you are in BPS0 you can use "Execute with Trace" and each line in the trace corresponds to one internal package.

There's no relation. FOX have it's own set of functions.

There are no data slices in BW.

There are a few books out. Search Amazon or SAP Press for "BPS".

Error when generate Transformation- GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL related
Dear all:
We created transformation for cube 0PA_C01 and infoSource 0HR_PA_1 based on 3.x transfer rule. When we performed "Check", it is done successfully with any error. But during activation, there s syntax error occurred in program "GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL". And error lines are as following--
line 2815:
"Field "_B_1-MVIEW-CO_AREA" is unknown. It is neither in one of the spe"
"cified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement. "DA"
"TA" statement."
Also there are two error message generated :
RSTRAN511- Error During generation
RSO404 - Error when activating Transformation 0ERUYQ8XMDJS1DP5U5U7HTBBNBME3GOE

Iam creating transformations for 0IC_C03. Iam facing problem in activating the transformations successfully. Some times it is throughing the above said error and some other times it is throughing the error ASSIGN_TYPE_CONFLICT. I searched forums almost a day and i found that SP 9 is unstable in which we are now and experts suggesting to upgrade to SP10 or SP12. But the problem is client is not willing to go to SP upgradation now. I have no clue now. I almost spend two days on this. But on the other hand iam able to generate transformations successfully and able to load data for other cube 0SD_D04.
kindly suggest any one to get rid of this issue. Iam running out of time.

XSL transformation related point
Hi All,
Morning, need some assistance with this issue we are facing during XSL transformation,
During the XSL transformation we need to access mapping file lets say country-code.txt which has the details as mentioned below:
US=USA
UK=Great Britain
Now when the input data value comes as US we need to map the output tag in the xsl with the value USA at run time & if input is Uk then output tag value should be Great Britain
2.Also in another file say login-details.txt we have maintained the user-name & password like below:
user-name='Test'
password='welcome'
This also we need to get the values in the xsl transformation file within the BPEL process so that at Run Time these could be got from the file ( since if we hard code in the xsl file within the BPEL process whenever the instance login details changes everytime we would have to change in the process and re deploy again)
1.Now in Soa Suite 10g is there a way or method/steps wherein from the xslt mapping file within the BPEL process we could make a call or access these files. Also on the application server/unix directory where do we need to physically put these files at which directory location ..if this is possible.
2.Also could a similar scenario be achieved in SOA Suite 11g
Could someone please help us with this as we are currently stuck with this situation..

2.Also where do we put customclass so that it could be accessed during SOA Run Time
3.Also in Soa 10g & Soa 11g is there a better method or any other way/steps within Jdev and also during SOA run time that this functionality could be achieved (means call an external file which stores the mapping values which need to be referred during xsl mapping within BPEL process)
4.We are not sure whether this would be feasible method and how to make this work in 10g as well as 11g
