Reliable messaging between XI and BTS

I came across this document describing how reliable messaging between XI and BTS can be implemented using the SOAP extensions. This document has been authored by
- André Fischer, Project Manager CTSC, SAP AG
- Matthias Allgaier, Consultant XI, SAP Deutschland AG & Co.
- KG Jürgen Daiberl, SAP Program Manager CTSC, Microsoft Corporation
Does anyone know if the prototype code is available for download from SDN or elsewhere? A search on SDN did not produce any results...
Thanks.

The document talks about the code you have to develop for your own module processor. The step by step method to create is given here:

    Larry,
Let me see if I understood this - You need to use the SOAP adapter to integrate with BizLink. Bizlink Provides its own SOAP Header and hence you are not sure how to do this.
    Got a few questions,
    1. Has Bizlink given you a XSD / WSDL. Does this have the entire SOAP Payload including the SOAP Header and SOAP body? If yes, create the mapping as needed and instead of the SOAP adapter use the HTTP adapter or use the SOAP adapter and in the SOAP adapter select option Do Not Use SOAP Envelope.
    2. If you do not have a XSD that contains the entire SOAP Enevelope - SOAP header and body then use XSL or Java Mapping that creates this output structure and use the SOAP adapter with the DoNotuseSOAP Envelope option or the HTTP adapter.
The SOAP adapter in the DONotUseSOAP Emvelope mode basically becomes a http adapter.

  • Use of Reliable Messaging between WebLogic and a different vendor

    Hello,
We have developed an application that is running on the WebLogic App Server v8.1
    sp1.
Recently we have received a request/query on providing reliable SOAP messaging
from our application to 3rd party.
I have read the documentation on Reliable messaging support and have noted that
it is only supported between two WebLogic Application servers.
My questions are, since we do not have control of the 3rd party's application,
and it may not be based on a WebLogic App Server:
    1. Will this work?
    2. Does anyone have any idea of the type of issues that may be experienced?
    3. How close is the implementation to the WS Reliable Messaging specification?
So, if the other party was based on an IBM or Microsoft implementation is this
    likely to work?
It goes without saying that any work done would need to be very throughly tested
    and qualified.
I have looked through the WebLogic Documentation on WebServices as well as searching
this newgroup for other posts on this topic, hopefully I have not missed anything
    (If so, my apologies.)
    Thanks,
    Mike Shea.

    Hi Michael,
The short answer, at this time, OOTB, WS-RM interop with an unknown
vendor would be doubtful. For a longer answer, David Orchard has a good
review of the emerging web services specs [0]. You might consider ebXML
messaging [1] as a more mature solution.
Thank you Bruce. I will look at these docs.
    Mike S.
    Hope this helps,

  • The problem about Secure Reliable Messaging between WCF and Weblogic

I'm doing a project for testing the interoperability between WCF and Weblogic with secure reliable messaging.
When WCF client talk to Weblogic service with Secure Reliable feature enabled. We got error when CreateSequence, the error message is below:
The incoming message was signed with a token which was different from what used to encrypt the body. This was not expected.
The remote endpoint requested an address for acknowledgements that is not the same as the address for application messages. The channel could not be opened because this is not supported. Ensure the endpoint address used to create the channel is identical to the one the remote endpoint was set up with.
My understanding is that the client accepted the RSTR from weblogic (so both sides now share the secure conversation token) and moved on to CreateSequence (and failed due to config mismatches). But I don't how the error happen and how to get it fixed.
-- below is the wsdl you are using --
    Any ideas about it?

    Hi Michael,
The short answer, at this time, OOTB, WS-RM interop with an unknown

messaging [1] as a more mature solution.
Thank you Bruce. I will look at these docs.

    Hello,

Recently we have received a request/query on providing reliable SOAPmessaging

I have read the documentation on Reliable messaging support and havenoted that
it is only supported between two WebLogic Application servers.
So, if the other party was based on an IBM or Microsoft implementationis this
    likely to work?
It goes without saying that any work done would need to be very throughlytested
    and qualified.
I have looked through the WebLogic Documentation on WebServices aswell as searching

  • Exchange Messages Between Foreground and Background Tasks

I'm working on an Application where I use background task for handling Bluetooth communication. For that, I'm trying to exchange messages between foreground and background tasks when the Bluetooth device sends
something and want to notify the foreground about it. Similarly, I want the foreground to send messages to background when the user activates something. I've started doing that using event handlers but it is not reliably working. Looks like the problem is
coming from the synchronization between these two tasks. I found the class BackgroundMediaPlayer which does what I really want , except controlling the media player. What are the options of doings that?

    Hi Rob,
Thank you for your reply. So in this case, I guess each process shall keep reading the file and see if there are commands to be processed. Is there a way to raise an event when the content of the file get changed? Are there existing file handling classes
    that support this?

  • Messaging between BB and iPhone works but not between BB and iPhone.

I have an iPhone and an iPad 2.  I am able to exchange messages between my daughter's Blackberry and my iPhone but when I try to send a message to her BB from my iPad I get a message stating that her phone number is not registered with iMessage.  Can someone explain why this app works on one device but not on the other.
    Paul9491

That's right.  iMessage on iPad ONLY works on other iOS devices, like iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, running iOS 5 or higher.  If you want to be able to text non-iOS users, there are apps for that, such as TextFree.

  • How to synch messages between ipad and iphone?

I see older info on this but nothing current: how do I synch messages between my iphone and ipad?  Only some of them synch, and not necessarily only those sent from other iphones. I'm using OS7.

The new info is the same as the old info. Nothing has changed.
You have to use the iPhone number as the contact address on both devices. Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at. You have to select the phone number in there for both devices.
Try signing out of Messages on both devices and start all over again. Settings>Messages>iMessage>Off. Restart both devices and then turn Messages on again on both devices starting with the phone.
Messages only work with other iOS devices and Mac computers running Mountain Lion or Mavericks.

  • Messaging between Mac and Windows machines

    Hi everyone
I am an experienced Windows developer but new to mac development and specially network programming.
I have an idea in my mind for a program that needs to somehow make a communication possible between a Mac machine and a Windows machine.
In particular I want to develop two applications:
1- Application called "M": An app written in XCode that run on the Mac machine.
2- Application called "W": An app written in let's say Visual Studio that run on Windows machine.
All I want for this two applications is to talk to each other for example through messaging. For example consider this simple scenario:
1- "M" running on Mac send a message to "W" running on Windows saying "PERFORM TASK A".
    2-  "W" performs the task
3- ""W" send message to "W" saying "TASK A DONE"
Both Mac machine and Windows machine are on the same network.
Also please note that I am not concerned bout security of communication at this time.
My problem is I don't know where to start from?
Any suggestion for where to start from, technologies, sample codes, etc that help me get started is highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    KylieM

hi Ralph.. thanks for helping out with this... we got ichat on our side and the AIM on the pc side but it didn't quite work out yet. We were wondering if the pc being on a dial up is a problem? the sound quality was horrid coming from the pc to us but apparently pretty clear going from us... we also wondered if it was a microphone problem but ran out of time for testing.
If it is the dial up being the issue does anyone know of any solutions or are we out of luck?

  • Message between blackberry and pc emails

Hi I have a Blackberry curve and I am receiving hundred of emails "This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server." It must be a setting I have set up wrong but I am unable to find what the problem is.  I did have a different curve but it had to go back as it was faulty and I only received this emails for a day or so but then it stopped.  Since I got the replacement phone which is over a week a go I am getting loads. Can anyone help or I am going to run out of usage before a fortnight is out.  Thank you for your help in advance. Christine

  • I accidentally deleted important text messages between me and a friend I really need these back and i need help trying to find a way i haven't synced my iPhone to the computer since 2013

I need these deleted text messages, they are very important.  I have been up all night trying to recover these lost text messages but no matter how many times I try I can't get them. I haven't synced my device to itunes since sometime in 2013 and my icloud isn't working and doesn't say that it backs up text messaging. I'm out of ways to get my deleted text message. It's very important that i get it back. It can stop a lot of problems that  I am having.

If you have not made a backup of the device while the text messages were on the device, then there is nothing that you can do. If you have created a backup of the device with the messages on there, then you can restore to that backup. The iCloud backup does backup SMS, so if you did make one, then they would be there. Otherwise, you are out of luck.

  • Messaging between iphone and itouch

My son just got an itouch. The other 4 people in the family have iphones. I can message him through an e-mail account, but when I do, my messages show up on his itouch and one of the other iphones in the family. (my daughter is not amused) When he messages me, the message is there, but it looks like it was sent from him and from myself (although I'm not a contact on my own phone) but I dont get a notification, or a badge on my phone, so I have no way of knowing he sent me a message. When he messages the daughter who is not amused, I'm getting the message too. All the iproducts in my family are registered to the same e-mail account so I can find them on "Find my phone" and we have one itunes account. I suspect this might be the problem, but my husband and other daughter are not recieving the messages when I message my son, nor are they recieving the messages when he sends them to me (or the daughter who is not amused) Any insight would be appreciated, I'm pretty computer illiterate. Thanks

    Thanks so much you guys!
    Another question...
I like sharing one itunes account for the family. We've been hacked into before and I dont want to worry about this happening to one of my kids accounts, i want to see what the kids are downloading, plus, through the cloud, we can each download apps directly onto our phone that one of the other people in the family has gotten. I want us all to be on the same Apple ID so we are all part of the same icloud (I want to be able to find everyone's iphone for those instances when the daughter who is not amused leaves her phone somewhere) Is it possible to just create a new e-mail address for my son and will that solve the message problem?
Or, if we change apple ID's for everyone will I still be able to find their iphones? Will we all have seperate clouds unable to get each other's apps?
    TIA

  • Link Messaging between IPhone and IPad

I am trying to link the messaging on my Wifi IPad (Gen3) to receive all of the messages that are sent to my Verizon IPhone. (If send from the IPad all messages/replies show up on both devices because they are linked via Apple ID) This is done through "Receive at", but what email address would I use to represent my phone number? I tried [email protected], and it sent a verification email/text to my phone, but I can't see enough of the message to click on the Confirm. So it is stuck in "Verfying" status on the IPad.
    Thanks for the help!

Another way to receive texts and emails from other devices is through iCloud which allows you to enter your apple account # or name. You are able to control what is converted from device to device in the settings for iCloud.

  • Exchange message between XI and External System

    Hello.
I am working on building an application that can exchange message with XI. I went through many documents and forums, but I found that most of them is in the boundary of XI and SAP not XI and external system. I just wonder if there is any simple code available that I can start working? Or any helpful suggestions are also welcome.
    Thanks.
    Kevin.

  • Can u sync messages between ipad and iphone

I have IPAD2 and Iphone 3GS, how can I receive all messages on both devices?

Thanks for the info.  My devices are now in sync after applying the changes as recommended.  However, I need to add one more thing for this to work.  The other party would also need to specify their apple-id in caller-id.  The synchronization worked after I changed my children's Iphones caller id's to their respective apple-ids.  Maybe coincidence but it worked for me......hope this helps.
