Remarks sometimes print on a transfer out

Why do Remarks added to a Transfer Out sometimes print on the document and then other times they don't?
How do you ensure that the Remarks are printed?

Remarks on the transfer should be printed out regularly.  If you found it not, check few things:
1. How many characters do you have in this field?  Although the field length is long enough, printing result might be not. It could result in none to print.
2. Do you have special characters in this field?
If nothing applis to you, try to find any patterns for the troubled remarks fields.

  • When I print business cards, they sometimes print 1/4 too high but not always.

    I have my business cards in a Word document using an Avery template. I have used the same file for years. I never had a problem with my Canon printer but after buying an HP Photosmart D110 I have had nothing but problems. When I print then they print about 1/4 inch too high ruining the cardstock and wasting ink. This doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes I print and they are perfect but when I go back and print another, the problem returns. This is the same card stock I have used for years and when it is inserted in the printer it doesn't matter if it is a single page or a stack of them. I have tried previewing the page before printing and the alignment is correct. I've tried printing to a PDF and then printing the PDF, same problem. I try it on the Canon and no problem. Only reason I bought this in the first place was the cartridges were cheaper and I do a lot of color printing and scanning!  I have just replaced the cartridges and did a head alignment so that is not the problem. I have tried it with regular paper and the problem persists. I'm ready to drop kick this thing and buy another Canon!

    Did you ever find a solution for this problem? I have no problem printing the business cards out on a Canon printer, or a different HP printer I used to have, but the D110 is nothing but a pain in the you know what !  I'm using publisher and the avery 8371 card stock,  I searched solutions for days and did everything possible but still they're not printing correctly!! I'm dissapointed in this printer, every time I have a problem with something it always seems to be an HP product!!!  Very frustrating because I never had to mess with any settings in the other printers I had, I would just put the file in, change the quality and click the print button with no problems. I'm ready to throw this printer out the window Anyway thanks in advance and I hope somebody can help me with this issue !!!

    The choice to flip my image for printing on heat transfer is "greyed out", which makes printing on heat transfer material impossible.

    I read your post and you are unable to flip the image to print the transfer.
    I will be happy to help you.
    Are you seeing the flip my image from the printer driver or the application you are printing from?
    What application are you using?
    Here is one way to print on the Iron on Transfers if you would like to try it.
    Select the Iron on Transfer in the printer driver.
    Go to start, devices and printers, right click the printer and left click printer preferences, click on the tab to
    select the HP Iron on Transfer.
    Then open Paint, click on the drop down and select open and find the document or image you want.
    Then click on rotate and select Flip horizontal.
    This should allow you to print it properly.

    I'm having trouble with an erratic printer Pixma MP 980. Somtimes it prints (wireless connection) and other times it receives job but doesn't do it, saying there's a paper jam (error msg 5700 - turn off printer, get jammed paper out - there is no jammed paper - and if it doesn't work then, consult manual.)
    Manual has nothing about this in Troubleshooting that I can find. Why does the printer work sometimes, then not? It repeats even after I turn it on and off, but only after a successful printing. Then next job is error, but no paper jam to prove it.

    Google show that you have to cut what you want to print and then paste it into a new app and print from that app.

    Hi,
    actually there's none. The UITableView class needs to "know" the tableView's height so either it can calc <number of rows> times <row height> or it has to sum the height of each single row.
    If the row which needs to be of different size always is the first or the last row you can user a tableHeader or tableFoot view.

    I've also seen this error message for the first time today "printing error due to out of memory condition" - I have 2GB of RAM, 300Gb+ free on my hard drive and have closed all other programs that were using some memory, however have had no problems printing to pdf ever before in Indesign... is there a solution to this problem?

    Recently, I noticed that when I need to print two-sided documents, the "two-sided" print option is greyed out.  I have gone into System Preferences  Printers & Scanners- and under "options" for the printer enabled the HP Two-sided Printing Accesory (Duplexer).  This button continues to disengage (won't remain enabled) and each time I need to print two-sided, I have to repeat the above process.     Type your user Name and Password .

  • Connected wirelessly to Canon printer MX340. Duplex printing option is grayed out for me but not on my daughter's non-Mac laptop or husband's PC which is connected to the printer. Mine has two-sided option available at the Apple store. Any ideas?

    We use a Canon MX340 series printer/fax/scanner. My husband has his PC hooked to it and my daughter prints wirelessly from it with no problem with her non-Mac laptop. I have trouble printing. Often it does not print and I have to delete the job from the queue. Other times it will print OK but two-sided printing is always grayed out in my printing options. When I took it to the Apple store and printed on their network (selecting their printer) the two-sided option was available. Makes me think the printer is set up wrong, but I am not certain. A fw times at home when trying to print I got an error message about incompatible fonts, but it printed anyway after deleting the job and starting over. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

    OK, just an update.
    Two years into this, I still find I can only do full duplex printing by using Windows XP running inside of VMWare. I've had occasional, ephemeral luck with duplex printing, but nothing long lasting.
    I've tried this in Tiger and Leopard (now at 10.5.6), and I've had this issue with Canon printers MP780 iP4300 and MP610, direct connected to my Core2Duo 17" MBP. I also have this issue when printing over a network, but that's a much harder problem to solve.
    Currently, this is my #1 most pressing issue for my Mac, because not being able to print from a computer when you print a lot is a really big drag, and using VMWare all the time is also a really big drag. Other people posting seem to be able to print in Duplex using the very same printers. What could be wrong with my MBP? I see the duplex box option, but most of the time it's grayed out as if my printer doesn't support duplex.
    I've tried direct selecting printer drivers from the system preferences, but nothing seems to have an effect. And this is off of a clean Leopard install.
    My wife now has similar problems with her new MBP - the Canon print drivers (CUSP & non CUSP) aren't allowing the Duplex box to be checked.
    I am willing to pay good money to anyone who thinks they can fix this problem.

    My dad told me he had this 'no selection' problem when he wanted to print out a selection in Hotmail, so I had a hunt around, but didn't find a definitive solution.
    So, I have done some playing around, and have come up with this solution which works if you want to print out a selection in Hotmail (using firefox), but it is now greyed out.
    It seems to be connected with the way that Hotmail handles frames.

    1/ On the email you want to print click the small Printer icon in the hotmail menu.
    There is no need to highlight a selection at this stage because the email is in a frame, so it will do no good anyway.
    2/ A new page will open up and the printer dialog box will open up.
    Close the printer dialog box.
    3/ Highlight the text selection that you want to print on that page.
    4/ Press Ctrl-P on the keyboard.
    5/ The printer dialog box will now pop up again and you will be able to choose 'Selection'
    Your selection will now print.

    If you just want to print a copy for your records, fill out the form like you want it, hit Print but at the dialog box don't actually select Print but instead Save as PDF:
    Save it to your Desktop or somewhere, open that file and then print.

    Here what exactly is Fiscal TP-Index and how this comparison is done. I can see that it is a account member with dynamic calc formula giving values for Jan = 1, for Feb =2 etc, but here in business rule what logic is used to transfer the employee?

    It has been a while since I used the workforce planning module and if I'm honest we always customized it as it was always felt to be too much aimed at the American market for us in the UK, but I do remember that there are a lot of formulae (some formulae on members, not always dynamic and some other business rules) that are all inter-linked.
    You are right in what the Fiscal TP-Index does, it basically returns an integer for the fiscal period in relation to the start period of your planning application, e.g. if your start period is Apr the Apr=1, May=2, Jun=3 etc to Mar=12.
    The rule contains a run-time prompt for the Period. Lets assume you pick Aug (Fiscal TP-Index = 5 as per my previous example).
    The rule checks each period in turn, if the Fiscal TP-Index is less than that of Aug, i.e. Apr (1) - Jul (4) nothing is changed, if the Fiscal TP-Index equals that of Aug (5) then the account 'Action' is set to =7 (this relates to a smartlist value represented by the text 'Transferred Out') and if the Fiscal TP-Index is greater than that of Aug, i.e. Sep (6) - Mar (12) then the account 'Action' is set to = #Missing.
    This is the bit from memory now so worth checking... The value of the 'Action' account is then somehow linked to the 'Status' account and that in turn is used various calculations such as 'Salary'. So to cut a long story short this effectively turns off costs like 'Salary' starting from the month after the Transfer Out is entered. Which if you think about it is exactly what you want it to do :-)
