Remove pricing condition on pricing procedure

Hi all,
I would like to remove an existing pricing condition on a pricing procedure.  Can or should it be removed and the impact.
Any opinion would be greatful.
Thanks,
Rebella

Hi Rebella
It is not advisable to delete the Condition type from the Pricing procedure.
Just try this, it may work as it is a Manual condition, as you are saying.
If it is a Manual condition, then go to the condition type (V/06) and put value "D"(not possible to process manually) in the "Manual Entries " field.
I hope, this will work and at the same time it will not affect your other earlier processing while creating billing etc .
Next time, when you require this condition again, that time just remove the value D.
Remember in this process, the said Manual condition type will not be seen in the drop down(F4),so the End-user can not select the condition type , but if he remembers the condition type then he can make the entry( by typing) and system will accept it.
If it still does not serve your purpose, then in addition to the above seettings, in  the Pricing procedure, remove the "tick mark"from the manual check box and save it.
Now, even if the End-user remembers the condition type and if he tries to enter the condition type by typing , then system will give error  as "condition can not be enterd manually".
Please let me know, whether it is working or not.

  • Maintain Excise defaults for pricing condition in TAXINN procedure

    Hi all,
I post this message as I'm customizing CIN part for creation and calculation of excise invoice. I have read lot of post but i'm a bit confused about right procedure to adopt. I try to explain:
I'm doing a stardard sales flow (sales order -> delivery -> commercial invoice -> excise invoice) and the only method I have found to flow excise values in excise invoice is to insert pricing conditions in India -> Basic settings -> Determination of excise duty -> Maintain excise defaults for TAXINN procedure.
In this table I have insert pricing conditions I use in my SD pricing schemas (in this case I use a copy of JINFAC). I have insert pricing conditions corresponding to BED % and BED total, and also CESS % and total and S&HCESS % and total.
If I remove pricing condition from this table, corresponing value in excise invoice, when I create it, become 0.
My dubt is if is correct to populate with table to flow excise values in excise invoice. I ask it as I have read differents approach and differents customizing settings applied in similar situations. In particular, I have found documentation in which, for TAXINN procedure, is recommended to leave blank "excise defaults" (with exception of CVD condition). What is the right method to use?
There is one right procedure or, as it seems reading posts, someone have to do his "proper CIN customizing" based on results that have to obtain?
Thanks in advance for any contribute that can help to clarify this situation.
    Regards
    Gianpaolo

    Hi all,
I think to have found solution to my dubt.
If I use "condition based Excise determination" I have to insert records with pricing schema (if is a copy of standard J* schema, like ZINFAC that is a copy of JINFAC) and excise pricing conditions in the transaction below:
India -> Basic settings -> Determination of excise duty -> Condition-based Excise determination -> Classify condition type
To determine value in excise invoice seems that program check before table in transaction described before. If in this table don't find records for pricing schema-excise pricing condition the program check also table in transaction below:
India -> Basic settings -> Determination of excise duty -> Maintain excise defaults
If during this second check find excise pricing conditions insert, can determine equally the values of excise in excise invoice.
This is the result of my checks. I hope this could be useful for other people with similar problem.

    2) As per Govt. notification surcharge on TCS not applicable for scrap sale. so we want to block / remove TCS condition from pricing procedure. how to do.

    Dear BK GAIKWAD,
By deleting the output record for invoice in VV32 you can control that old record not come in to the picture.
2.If the TCS condition is not been used in future remove required option in your pricing procedure T.code v/08,and also delete the condition record VK12. then it won't come in to sale order.

  • Pricing Condition is Duplicating on Changing the Variants in Quotation !

    Hi,
I have a requirement, where the Pricing Condition (Custom Pricing Condition Specific to the Variant Pricing) is duplicating on changing the Variants in Quotation to be stopped or deleted.  I suppose, the variant pricing condition should not be newly added to the pricing table each time, there is a change in the material variants as chosen by the business/user with the Quotation.  Instead, I assume, the existing cost for the variant pricing condition should update each time, when the variant material is changed by the user. I am not sure, whether this issue can be controlled in the configuration? or Can I control the occurrence of the duplicate pricing condition inside any user exit by deleting the duplicate condition, but retaining the newly added ( Recently  added pricing table entry for that condition)? I am not sure, what are the possibilities to fix this issue? Appreciate if you could provide me with a suitable solution.
    Thanks for your time.
    Thanks,
    Kannan

    Hello Kannan.
I have the Same Problem. do you have a solution for the same?
i have written a pricing condition at the characteristic level using pricing Factors. however when i change the characteristic. it is duplicating the condition instead of refreshing it.

  • Pricing conditions EK01 and PR00 in pricing procedure

    Hi Gurus,
We have a process in which a SD billing request is generated by using DIP profile (DP90). Pricing condition used in the pricing procedure for the sales document is EK01 (which brings the actual cost of the service order that creates the Billing request through DP90) but it happens sometimes that EK01 is not desired but instead PR00 ( another price agreed with a certain client instead of the actual cost in the order).
In order to match this need, best would be to combine both conditions (EK01 and PR00) in the same pricing procedure, and as a general rule, EK01 will apply in the billing request price, but in case PR00 condition exists, then this one will prevail and EK01 will be in the price conditions but will not be taken into account in the price calculation--> how can this be done in the pricing procedure?
Another possibility would be using different pricing procedures so that one has EK01 as pricing condition and  the other one has PR00. The pricing procedure will be assigned by using document pricing procedure assigned to a different document type but this is not the desired solution as it makes much more tricky the design: another dynamic item profile would be needed so that proper document type is assigned.
Thanks for your great help in advanced!
    VL

    Hi Victor,
You can put both of the conditions in the same pricing procedure and use the exclusion group to compare the conditions and choose the favourable as per you requirement.
I hope this will certainly help you in solving your problwm.

  • To make the Pricing Condition types inactive in Pricing Procedure

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a senario where, in a sales order, pricing procedure, if one of the pricing condition type does not exist, then two other condition types (even though they are determined by condition records), should be either made inactive or should not appear in the pricing procedure.
Example: If I have 3 condition types in Pricing Proc say
    YYY1, YYY2, YYY3, then the scenarios are
    a. If one of the condition types YYY1 is not determined, then, YYY2 and YYY3 should not be either determined in the sales order or should be made inactive. This same logic applies to both YYY2 and YYY3.
    b. If all three condition types are determined in Pricing Proc of the sales order, then, the price should be considered.
If it was just YYY1 then, I could have done it in VOFM by writing a routine and assigning it to YYY2 and YYY3 in pricing proc. However, the scenario is to check the other condition types as well and make YYY1 inactive if any of the other condition type does not exist. Both condition types are determined after YYY1 which is another difficulty.
I tried creating a dummy condition type  and assigning it to Pricing Proc (at the end of Pricing Proc). For this dummy condition I put in a pricing requirement which checks for all three condition types and if one does not exist, then it make other conitions inactive.
However, this does not work in VA02 and VA03 as XKOMV is either not getting filled up or even if is getting filled, it is not having the condition type. It some times has condition records, and sometimes not... (not very sure why)
So, I was thinking of using user exit for the same. However, I was unable to find a suitable user exit for the same where KONV table can be read or XKOMV can be filled.
Can you please suggest if any user exit can be used for this or if we can implement it in a different way?
    Regards,
    Mukund S

    Hi,
I think you can use condition exclusion functionality to select best pricing condition from a set of conditions in pricing.  You can compare conditions in many ways.
I believe you can plot a solution with little research.  The below link is for your reference.

  • Step for Adding new condition in Pricing procedure

    Hi,
We have different pricing procedure  with different condition ,  in this procerdure i want to add one new  condition at 2 position and the requirement is that  if system found the value with this condition it should skip the 3 step and directly go to 4 step  can u give the step for this  how to add new condition to this procedure.
    regards,
    zafar

I think you need to use condition exclusion so if the condition at step 2 is found then step 3 becomes inactive if it  is also found.
Depnding on your pricing keys, you might be able to add a step in the access sequence on step 3 and only use a single condition (V/07) and marking that step exclusive if a record is found.

  • Multiple Variant pricing conditions in a Pricing Procedure

    Hi,
I have a scenario regarding variant configuration pricing in a sale order. I need to attach multiple pricing condition like VA00 in my pricing procedure .
A material M1 has many characteristics under the category Basic and Special for example.
Under Basic I have the following characteritics and its respective values maintained in VK11
    B001- Basic Spec 1  USD 100
    B002- Basic Spec 2  USD 200
    B003- Basic Spec 3  USD 300
    Likewise under special category ,
    S001- Special Spec 1- USD 500
    S002- Special Spec 2- USD 1000
In the pricing procedure the varaint condition VA00 will carry the price of the characteristics. My requirement is as follows
    1. The prices of the Basic spec should be added first and later the special spec
    VA00- Basic Spec 1      100
    VA00- Basic Spec 2      200
    VA00- Basic Spec 3      300
Sub total Basic spec Value  600
    VA00 Special Spec 1    500
total basic and special spec - 1100
The problem I faced in the above format was that the pricing procedure will allow only one entry of VA00. To over come that I copied the condition VA00 and named a new one, for e.g, ZVSP.
Now when I use the condition ZVSP, it does not fetch the values like VA00.
Could any one suggest a method in which I can introduce varaint conditions in multiple levels in a pricing procedure.
    Thanks and regards
    Rasheed

    Hi,
When you copied the VA00 condition type, did you also copy the associated access sequences? Your new condition type should have an access sequence with an access that transfers the value of the doc. field KOMP-VARCOND into the condition VARCOND; use transaction V/07 to check this.

  • New condition in pricing procedure in Sales Order

    Dear SAP Gurus,
I want to add one new condition in pricing procedure in Sales Order.
Earlier we were having following conditions.
    PR00   (price)                           1000 Rs     (say)
    MWST                                     100%    sub cond.
    ZSER  (service tax)                   12%
ZSRT                                       100%  sub cond on ZSER
    ZEDU    (Education tax)             3%(on ZSER)
ZEDT                                        100% sub cond on ZEDU
Now I want the structure to be
    PR00   (price)                           1000 Rs     (say)
    MWST                                     100%    sub cond.
    ZSER  (service tax)                   12%
ZSRT                                       100%  sub cond on ZSER
ZEDU  (Education tax)               2%  (on ZSER)
ZEDT                                        100% sub cond on ZEDU
ZHED (Higher Edu. Tax)             1% (on ZSER)
ZHET                                        100% sub cond on ZHED
For this I have Done following Customizings
Created new Condition Types (ZHED & ZHET ) by Coping from ZEDU and ZHET respectively.
Maintained pricing procedure with these conditions.
Made condition Record for ZHET through VK11.
But I am not able to set ZHED as 1 %
Please guide where to configure this and how ?
    Thanks & Regards
    Rajesh

    Hello,
Have you maintined the calculation type of the condition type ZHED as A - Percentage ? If no, then maintain the same. If it is already maintained, then let us the error when you are trying to maintain the condition record as 1%.

  • Remove from Billing Plan after Pricing Condition change

    Hi all,
I am trying to implement code to deduct from the last date of a billing plan once a pricing condition type is used. Currently, when you enter the pricing condition it spreads the deduction amount across all of the dates in a billing plan.
If we use VOFM, where would I define this? I've created code in the Pricing Requirements but table FPLT is not available to me and I don't know how to only remove from the last date instead of all.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,
If you have necessary authorization to change the Pricing Date in Invoice, please go ahead.
Change the Pricing date in Invoice,  go to Conditions tab & update the Pricing. System will fetch Condition Records as on that date.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Condition types (Pricing Procedures)

    Hi
I am doing a review of our pricing procedures and have noticed two Pricing conditions linked to Pricing Procedures which we use quite extensively which allow manual changes to the price.
There are also no tolerances set for any condition types.
Is there a way to see if these conditions have been used and indeed if the price was manually changed?
Also how do I ensure that Sales Orders and invoices are automatically priced in SAP using the price in effect at the time of order placement (not time of shipment).
    Thanks
    CT

    Dear Chris
    Answer to your Q1
To check whether any manual price change has taken place in billing, go to SE16, input table VBRP  and check the field MPROK
    Answer to your Q2
Go to V/06, select the condition type and execute.  Maintain "D"  for the field "Manual entries"  so that whatever price you maintain in sale order, that will be copied in billing and cannot be changed manually, unless you change in VK11 and do manual selection of "Update" button in condition tab.
    thanks

  • FM SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE - pricing condition problem

    Hello,
I hope someone could help me on this one:
First of all, my SAP version is 4.6c.
I've been developing a program that will create a sales contract using FM  SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE.  Overall, the sales contract is being created successfully.
However, in the item pricing, the pricing condition that I need to create is being duplicated.  I understand that in the pricing procedure the particular condition is being inserted automatically.  The problem is, instead of the FM updating the default inserted pricing condition, it's inserting the one being passed.
I've already done a little research through the forums.  I've tried [this|SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE with Pricing Condition; suggestion where I create first the document then update it using SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CHANGE.  There is also  [this suggestion|SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE - Duplicate sales conditions; that sets the field LOGIC_SWITCH-COND_HANDL, but my version does not have that field.
Finally, there's [this suggestion|http://www.sapfans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=218865&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a] that sets the field LOGIC_SWITCH-PRICING to a particular value.  I tried the initially suggested value of 'G' - Copy pricing elements unchanged and redetermine taxes.  The duplicate condition no longer occurs, but other pricing conditions were removed.  Using other values resulted in either the contract creation failing, or the condition value not updating.
So, please please can anyone help with my problem?  Thank you in advance.

  • Pricing condition- Header

    Hi,
I have a problem with a pricing condition. It is a the moment both a header and item condition but my customer want it to be only a header condition.
I can not get this to work as it is a condition that is an automatic freight condition with different stages depending on the value in the order. There are an access sequence connected to the condition and according to that the item condition can not be removed.
Is there anyone else who know how it could be possible to solve this? I want a condition to be automatic with stages depending on the order value and I only want to have the condition on header level.
    Thanks for the help,
    Ulrika Nilsson

Please go to the pricing procedure screen (VOK0 transaction) You will see different pricing steps within the pricing procedure. Also you will see a column "Reqt" associated with each pricing condition.
Identify the pricing condition type for automatic freight conditions and add a custom requirement" say for instance 699. Prior to this activity go to VOFM transaction -> Requirements -> Pricing and create a new routine 699. (may need access key)
Once this routine is created and saved, 2 form routines will be created. Add the following sy-subrc statements as shown below and activate the program. Make sure the routines are added to the transport.
    FORM KOBED_699. "Header Pricing
    sy-subrc = 0. "successful
    ENDFORM.
    FORM KOBEV_699. "Item Pricing.
    sy-subrc = 4. "not successful
    ENDFORM.
