Remove / Update files loaded into a personalised table

Hello All,
I have a table in my database which holds pdf documents that i have uploaded using mime types, id's etc from the htmldb_files table. I am doing this using file browse then writing the file to my own table ( approvals ).
I need to be able to do the following :-
1: Remove / update the files with new versions or in case wrong file is uploaded to the record.
2: Have a search that searches inside the BLOB columns contain in two seperate tables and return in one report the records holding files that contain the specified "term" by the user.

Just a little more information. When I enter owa_util.mime_header('image/jpeg') I can't display the file. It just shows up with a red x for the file.
When I enter owa_util.mime_header('image/jpg') it displays the file, but in the format
¿¿¿¿JFIF¿¿-Intel(R) JPEG Library, version [2.0.16.48]¿¿C
This is the way I would expect it to look if I opened it with Notepad, or an application that doesn't recognize jpg files. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?? Thanks.

Incremental load into the Dimension table

Hi,
I have the problem in doing the incremental load of the dimension table.Before loading into the dimension table,i would like to check the data in the dimnesion table.
In my dimension table i have one not null surrogate key and the other null dimension tables.The not null surrogate key, i am populating with the Sequence Generator.
To do the incremental load i have done the following.
I made lookup into the dimension table and looked for a key.The key from the lookup table i have passed to the expression operator.In the expression operator i have created one field and hard coded one flag based on the key from the lookup table.I passed this flag to the filter operator and rest of the fields from the source.
By doing this i am not able to pass the new records to the dimension table.
Can you please help me.
I have another question also.
How do i update one not null key in the fact table.

The file format should be same as you want to upload. The sequence of File format should be same communication structure.
Like,
Initial columns with Characteristics (ex: plant,location,customer,product)
date column (check for data format) (ex: calander)
Last columsn with Key figures (history qty)

I actually had some success after many attempts with using your code. I can control the .stop() and .play() of the "NamePlate_sym" symbol. Yet, I am still having trouble doing anything else with it. I cannot .hide() it, nor use .html("Change text") on another element on the stage called"Rectangle". If I can accomplish that and all a global function on the stage, I'm in good shape.
I placed the following script in the header of the .html file that gets loaded into the iFrame within the Edge composition:

Once I put window.parent. in the first two lines of code and the last, my test worked. As I mentioned earlier though, I still can't get the syntax correct to .hide() an element (i.e. comp.getSymbol("NamePlate_sym").hide(); does not work), or more importantly, change the innerHTML value of an element on the stage. The code either does nothing or freezes.

I prefer to use LSMW here.You can achieve it by using batch recording option here.
Do a recording for the XK02 tcode with all mandatory required fields filled and create a sample file and upload.I t is higly ecomnomical in your case than a BDC upload.

From 11.1 onwards, the below two views are available to identify the jar files loaded into the Database.
JAVAJAR$
JAVAJAROBJECTS$
By querying the JAVAJAR$ view you can know information about the JAR files loaded into the Database and using JAVAJAROBJECTS$ view you can find all the java objects associated with the given JAR file.
These views are populated everytime you use LOADJAVA with "-jarsasdbobjects" option to load your custom java classes.
But unfortunately this feature is available only from 11.1 onwards and there is no clear workaround for above in 10.2 or earlier.

How to delete the data loaded into MySQL target table using Scripts

I created a Job with a validation transformation. If the Validation was failed the data passed the validation will be loaded into Pass table and the data failed will be loaded into failed table.
My requirement was if the data was loaded into Failed database table then i have to delete the data loaded into the Passed table using Script.
But in the script i have written the code as
sql('database','delete from <tablename>');
but as it is an SQL Query execution it is rising exception for the query.
How can i delete the data loaded into MySQL Target table using scripts.
Please guide me for this error

I got the Solution, the mistake i did was the query is not correct regarding MySQL.

*.wrl file loaded into applet!!!

I am useing vrml97 to load *.wrl file, And it works fine in application mode.
But when I run it as applet mode,it report an error:applet notinited.
I use the *.obj file loaded into applet, and it works fine.
What's the problem between *.obj and *.wrl?
How can I loaded *.wrl into my applet?

Loading File name and file contents into two separate tables using Sqlloadr

I have situtation like to load File contents into One table and File name into one table . File comes with .txt extension
Example :
File name : product_09_abc.txt
File contents :
Productcode

EFT
Can you please help me out this how can we acheive this using SQLLOADER.

SQL*Loader will not pass through the filename for you to be able to insert into a table.
You will need to have a controlling o/s script that picks up the file name, calls sql*loader and then also call's an SQL script (using sql*plus?) to insert the filename into a.n.other table.

Data loading into Data warehouse Tables

I am having scenario like this. I am having table with lacks of records. Every day, new data will come with some records DELETE ed, some new records
INSERT ed, some records UPDATE ed. I have to load this new data into parent table.
Currently, we are DELETING all parent data and inserting new data. It is taking a lot of time. There is NO PRIMARY KEY on this parent
table.
What are the best options to load the new data. Actually, there are several tables are there. I have mentioned one table for example.
Oracle version is 9i.

Delimited or Fixed Length transform is that it keeps
everything within Data Mart Suite.
1. What all types of databases are supported by DataMart
ODBC. DataMart Suite will support most RDBMS's as an
ODBC source. Sybase, SQL Server, Informix, DB2, Redbrick,
Teradata. Note this is only a source for the
data, not a store for the DataMart
2. Can DataMart suite be programmed for auto operation of
loading data.There is some limited scheduling functionality based on
the NT scheduler service. Where you want to run one plan
following another, you may need to get a bit clever, by
including some preprocessing to check that the previous
plan has completed or use a third party scheduler which
would not start the plan until the previous plan had
completed.
3. What is the extend of errors handling in loading operation,
supported by this suite. Pretty good. All the stuff from SQL Loader, plus each of the
transforms has it's own error handling.

Conversion of PDF file data into ABAP internal table

I am unable to convert the binary data into text format by using some function modules and classes .please find tthe function modules names and classes:
SCMS_BINARY_TO_TEXT,SCMS_BIN_TO_TEXT, CL_ABAP_CONV_IN_CE,CL_ABAP_CONV_OBJ. But these are not working as per my requirement.
My requirement is we need to upload PDF file (legecy file)which is saved under the PC into SAP and display the same PDF data into the adobe interactive form. For thise i have done coding by using above function modules and classes but i got the unwant on the adobe form i.e display lke "##############$$%%^^&&*((((()))%%%%%%###*^^&&***"

I don't understand, the pdf is put into an internal table at
CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF
the table is pdf and all info for the pdf is there already in a table?
if you continue the source code the only thing is that the table is combined with a file name and makes it happen that you get an actual file.
or do you want to have the pdf in a single field ?
or do you want to store the document on a server where the location is stored in an internal table ??

SQL Loader into two related tables

I am trying to import data into two tables from a single data file.
The data looks something like this:
Name Dept
Joe Sales
Bob Support
Steve Engineering
Mary Support
I can easily import the data into a single table that has name and department with both as strings but I would like to import the data into two tables like:
Name DeptId | DeptId DeptName
---- ------ | ------ --------
Joe 10 | 10 Sales
Bob 20 | 20 Support
Steve 30 | 30 Engineering
Mary 20 |
Can anyone point me to a reference to help with such an import

1. User is on the OFFER_CONTENT canvasOk
2. User presses ‘+’ buttonOk
3. On the screen is displayer PRODUCT list
4. User set focus on desired product
5. Using popup menu user choose ‘Add’ option
6. PRODUCT list is being closedSo, the functionlatity is like a LoV?
7. OFFER_CONTENT is being shown with set of information from the productOk, you would either take the values directly from the fields of the PRODUCT-list and copy them into the OFFER_CONTENT-fields, or you just get something like the PRODUCT-ID from your PRODUCT-list and use a SELECT to read the product-details into the OFFER_CONTENT-block
8. User can then manually change desired elements of the recordOk.
So, where do you have the need to do an INSERT in your scenario?
